It doesn't taste good at all anymore—horrible little currywurst. The fries are just about okay. Price/performance ratio—not up to scratch.

Half a chicken tastes better than anywhere else. And chicken schnitzel is absolutely not greasy and super juicy inside. Fries are always perfectly prepared and seasoned. The salads are also delicious. Everything I've eaten here so far, whether eaten in or takeout, tastes incredibly delicious. I've never felt full after eating. It's truly great here.

I ordered a baked schnitzel to take away at the checkout. Just by watching the waitress, I had a feeling what was about to happen. My baked schnitzel and fries with mayo had been wrapped long ago, and yet three customers were still served before I received my order and could pay. When I got home and unwrapped the schnitzel, it was awful. The cheese was stuck to the wrapping paper. They also used cheap ham that wasn't even cooked through. I didn't even try it, though, as I was already tired of the food. So I took my "MEAL" back to the snack bar and got my money back... That was my last time at this snack bar... Other snack bars are happy to charge, but they do it in exchange for honest work.

Eating here is a gamble. Sometimes it's good, sometimes the chicken is too dry. What's really a disgrace, though, are the sizes. The chickens get smaller each time, and then you pay €5 for half a chicken with barely any meat on it. Generally speaking, things have gone downhill since the change of ownership a few years ago. It's a shame, people used to enjoy eating there, but it's not the real thing anymore.

The only drawback is that there aren't enough seats; you have to wait a long time for a seat and fight for it.

Anyone who would like to try a delicious half chicken 🐔 or even a whole one should head here. If you'd like something a little more spicy, just ask. The staff are friendly, quick, and easy to serve, with their heart and soul in every situation. Children are also not an issue; everyone of all ages is welcome here.

Everything was delicious, the cucumber salad was excellent. I had a grilled dish and it was too rich for me 😊.

You don't necessarily have to go there for the chicken. 0.8.15 Too dry, no flavor. There are better ones. The staff is friendly and serves customers quickly.

I actually like this place, but today I had to wait an hour, and people who came after me were given priority, then I got the wrong order, and the boss, or rather the boss's wife, pulled a face and was so condescending! The food was good, but the owner was really nasty!

Usually, the little chicken is good and juicy... Yesterday at lunchtime, the shop was busy, and I ordered two half-packs to go directly from the man at the grill. Since the break was almost over, I would have gotten the bag straight away... at work. Unfortunately, this time the meat was dry and almost inedible... although the man seemed friendly!

There's no alternative to Gresak's chicken. As always, everything's top-notch. You won't find 1100g chicken for €10 that's super crispy and tastes as good anywhere else. The long line at the counter is proof of that. Of course, there are those who have a different opinion, but that doesn't mean they have any idea. The bottom line is, try it for yourself, and ask for more seasoning if you like it spicy. And one more thing: if you want to be treated like a king, you have to behave like a king.

Unfortunately, it was absolutely disappointing. The reception was unfriendly; the woman at the cash register spoke to me in a truly rude tone, as if I had personally disturbed her. That's simply not how you treat guests. The food, unfortunately, was also disappointing. It was poorly presented, barely seasoned, and tasted truly below what you'd expect for the price. I felt neither welcome nor did I eat well. Once, and never again.

As a long-time customer, I must say I'm honestly disappointed. Unfortunately, I experienced treatment from your staff that I found extremely rude and disrespectful. The way I was treated as a guest was neither professional nor worthy of the standards of a restaurant. A rude response to a simple question, or... This situation honestly ruined my entire day, which I deeply regret. I was looking forward to a relaxing stay, but I was disappointed – not only by the service, but also by the lack of sensitivity for dealing with guests.

The food was okay, and the bar was relatively hygienic. But the staff made too much small talk for my taste.

The quality of the food has deteriorated significantly. The staff are very rude and incompetent... Instead of the manager having the final say, his employees take over... They're fixated on money, not on the well-being of the guests! When you ask about the air conditioning, whether it can be turned on because of the heat, and you get the answer that the door is open, that's enough!!!!! Then you can imagine the rest... and the lady who asked this question about the air conditioning was heavily pregnant... Simply pathetic!!!!!!

A truly great place! If you like good, honest food, this is the place for you. The meat is truly delicious, everything is well-seasoned. The fries are crispy, the portions are generous—you'll definitely be full. The prices are more than fair, especially for what you get. Everything is clean and well-maintained, which is immediately noticeable. The people there are friendly and relaxed, and you immediately feel at home. No frills, just good food at a good price—that's how it should be. I'll definitely be back.

I can't say anything about the food because I didn't eat there I went there late in the afternoon today and it was already quite crowded. My girlfriend had half a chicken, which was delicious. I a gyro plate. The portion was very generous, well seasoned and very tasty. It was very busy there, which speaks for the food - but the waiting time was still only short. Very nice staff Price performance is right. A visit highly recommended

This is a modern-looking place with the characteristics of the old German stills preferred by Turkish customers. It is a place I can recommend to those who are not obsessed with pork and cleanliness. The chicken here is both delicious and affordable. It can get very crowded in the evenings and you may not be able to find a seat.

I've been coming to Grezak for over 20 years and I'm thrilled every time! For me, the tastiest chicken and fries I know are served here. Crispy, juicy and simply perfectly seasoned. The taste is unbeatable and the quality is consistently high. Absolutely recommended

Gresak Grill is the absolute chicken hotspot in Oberhausen. But: Bring plenty of time during rush hour. Seating in the evening is difficult to find. Top snack!

Best grilled chicken in town or probably within a 30km radius. I can warmly recommend the shashlick sauce 😀 For me the best “chip shop” there is! The service staff are always really nice and accommodating - just great service all around with delicious food :)

For the best chicken in Germany you always have to queue for at least 30 to 45 minutes before you can enjoy the indescribable chicken. You also have to wait in long queues to eat at the snack bar because the snack bar only offers self-service. But these chickens are worth even the long journey and the queue. My friend always comes from Kleve to eat chicken at Gresak.

Am very disappointed with the service. Not everyone knows customer is king anymore. I have been a customer here with my husband for years. We have a very large circle of friends and acquaintances and everything comes from recommendations. As well as here too. Unfortunately we are not here all the time. Because we have 1 hour drive one way. The chicken was the best. The quality has also deteriorated a lot. Partially burned. It's no longer worth taking the long journey. I was very surprised that I had a 1l. Bottle for drinking not on site, drinking only outside the house. Great, my husband and I, who I just got out of the hospital. After 1.5 hours Ride today. When the weather is bad, we sit in the car and eat there. Because I wanted a big bottle to drink from. A friend who I now advise not to come again. They were recently allowed to drink the bottle in a snack bar. Just because they were there almost every day. So you lose customers and get bad reviews, hope it was worth it. We go to the other snack bar. And take our friends with us. Greetings to boss who doesn't care. If you talk about customers behind the customer's back, you should be careful who overhears it.

We say thank you and not goodbye. Thank you for 40 years of Gresak visits. Unfortunately, since the current owner has been running the shop, the quality has noticeably declined. Firstly, the quality of the customers. The owner can't do anything about it, but the way some customers leave the table or behave at the dining table is simply visually and acoustically unbearable. The leftovers on the plates often look as if the customers had a Chinese firecracker ignited your food. Not so nice. This didn't exist before. On the other hand, the food itself. Chicken is sometimes so boring and dry that it gets stuck in your throat without a drink or mayonnaise. If you inform the owner about this fact, he or she will thank you for the information without further reaction. When I asked if I could speak to the boss, the staff told me: "It's better not, she'll react aggressively." That's not how you treat customers. Especially not with long-standing regular customers.

Large and very clean Greek restaurant. The furnishings in the restaurant and winter garden are very cozy and invite you to stay. The staff is attentive and quick without being intrusive. I ordered currywurst and fries special. Sauce was totally over-seasoned, special fries were a mess. There were plates everywhere on the free tables that hadn't been cleared away. Service was friendly and quick. Unfortunately it didn't taste good.

First of all, the staff should be noted. People are always friendly towards me!! However, the food isn't really enough anymore. Even without seasoning, the chicken is over-seasoned for me. But the meat is very well cooked and tastes great! However, if you take fries home with you, they taste boring. The worst thing for me is the tzatziki. It's actually made with yogurt. The taste and consistency are more reminiscent of a mass stretched with mayo - not tasty, unfortunately.

Stood in the store for 10 minutes to place an order. I politely asked when I could order, as none of the 5 people behind the counter gave even the slightest hint of taking care of waiting customers. The employees' complete lack of understanding when I asked, orders still had to be processed. I said I would sit down and please let me know if I could order. A minute later, the people waiting after me were served straight away. I went to the counter and asked why they weren't telling me. I wasn't seen again, even though I was sitting in the entrance area, right in front of the counter. Then the people asked me who else wanted to order... So I've never experienced such a rip-off. So I was allowed to go. To "treat" customers like that, there should have been a clamp for that. What an antisocial manner! If you can't do service, you can put your food somewhere else.

Will not eat here again! The schnitzel is made of molded meat and is tiny. The tables are not clean and the audience leaves behind pure chaos!!! Sad .

We come from far away to eat fries, half a chicken, currywurst and other delicious things “like in childhood”. The quality of the food stands out from other fast food places. The prices are really still within an affordable range, all employees work hand in hand in a structured manner during the preparation, so you get your food quickly. It's nice to sit there and there are also modernized toilets. Fries with regular salt not this flavor-enhanced French fries seasoning! All in all, a great store like it used to be. Great opening times. The only thing I wish would be a higher quality ketchup, the one they have doesn't taste good. At least Heinz would be much more pleasant. But that's the only point of criticism ;-)
