Nach vielen Jahren auf die schnelle was geholt,kann nur sagen top,freundlich,aufmerksam, sehr sauber, immer frisch, weiter so👍

Lieferung über Lieferando ..das aller letzte... angeblich Fahrer da... angeblich angerufen.... 26€ weg... Kein Ton gehört... obwohl drei Personen zu Hause... So kann man auch Geld verdienen :( Viel Spass

Nach 14 Jahren Abstinenz endlich mal wieder hergeschafft. Immer noch so gut wie damals.

Wir essen sehr sehr selten beim Bärengrill. Weil die Schnitzel zu dünn das Hähnchen meisten tot frittiert und das Gyros oft sehr knorpelig ist. Curryfrikadelle oder die Currywudelle sowie der Hamburger Spezial das waren die drei Sachen die immer gingen. Genau gingen. Neuerdings gibt es kaum noch Soße auf die Frikadelle. Da sind 3 Stückchen Fleisch bedeckt der Rest ist trocken. Die Pommes werden auch immer weniger. Und neuerdings ist der Hamburger Spezial wo immer richtig lecker gebratene Zwiebeln und Soße drauf waren. So das er richtig schön matschig saftig und lecker war dieser ist neuerdings so trocken das ich mir zu Hause noch Ketchup geholt und Zwiebeln selbst gebraten habe. Da nur noch 3 so dünne gebratene Ringe da drauf waren. Ich finde es schade weil es sich so anfühlt als ob man den Laden tot sparen möchte.

Ob Hähnchen, Schnitzel, Gyros oder Pommes es schmeckt einfach immer super. Sehr freundliches Personal, gute Preise und die Portionen sind auch gut und angemessen. Immer wieder ein Besuch wert. Gruß Stefan

Immer wieder großartig! Das Essen ist wahnsinnig lecker! Es wird auch auf persönliche Wünsche eingegangen. Die Crew ist immer herzlich und zuvorkommend. Das Geschäft überzeugt mit seinem urigen Ruhrpott-Retro-Stil was den Charm der besten Zeiten widerspiegelt. So bald man das Lokal betritt, hat man den Gedanken, dass doch nicht alles so schlecht ist, wie die Welt einen manchmal glauben lässt. Hier wird Ruhrpottmentatlität noch gelebt. ❤️

Wirklich gutes Essen mit einer großen Auswahl und freundlichen Besitzern. Jederzeit wieder.

Seit Ewigkeiten nicht mehr so leckeren Gyros gegessen. Jedes Mal voller Fett und labbrig, total verwürzt, nicht so hier. Gyros esse ich nur noch im Bärengrill, Besitzer mega nett, höflich und zuvorkommend. Immer wieder gern👍🏽

Seit 2001 regelmäßig freitags....kenne aber auch noch den alten Bärengrill, gegenüber vom Radtke, mit den beiden Chefs. Kunde seit ca. 35 Jahren.

We've eaten at Bärengrill several times, mostly by delivery. It's THE place to eat in the Marienviertel! However, you should consider when you order. Even though the food usually arrives hot, the quality depends on the day and the delivery time. Which is a real shame. We actually love eating there, but today we ordered via Uber Eats, and while it was hot when it arrived, the gyros was inedible. It seemed to be the last bits left on the spit, and consequently, it was crumbly and soggy. Very disappointing.

An absolute institution and the best taxi plate in Oberhausen!

We came for the ultimate experience… the taxi plate! The staff were very friendly, the atmosphere was exactly as you'd imagine, and the value for money was outstanding!!!

We ordered from there for the first time yesterday via Uber. My husband ordered the mixed grill, and I ordered a baked potato with gyros. We also ordered a portion of tzatziki. The baked potato, tzatziki, and salad were great. Unfortunately, the mixed grill wasn't so good. The meat was overcooked and therefore dry. My husband was also bothered by the fact that the gyros was mixed in some kind of rice mixture. Please serve the side dishes separately; it looks much better that way. Would I order from there again? Yes! The baked potato was delicious, the tzatziki was delicious, and the salad was also tasty. As for the mixed grill, if the meat isn't overcooked and the side dishes are served separately, then I'm convinced the mixed grill will taste good too.

Top chip shop in Oberhausen... I have to revise my opinion, the TOP chip shop in Oberhausen. The Rathaus Grill is history... so where do you go after Bärengrill? Great, they're also involved in the CentrO Christmas market.

I was the only customer in the store and still couldn't get my order right. My day was ruined, thanks a lot.

First and last time ordering, we just ordered our food. It was over-salted and completely over-fried. The fries, some fresh, some old, and in between, were an absolute disaster. The portion of what they call "yippee sauce" was so small that you could eat two fries with it. The only thing that was okay was the cucumber salad. We didn't even finish the food and had to throw it in the trash, wasting money for nothing.

We had the food delivered. Delivery was very fast. The taxi plate was really bad. The fries were absolutely soggy. The gyro was indefinable, soft and mushy. The skewer plate was an absolute disgrace. The meat was dry, the salad was soggy, as if the tomatoes were already old. The sauce was tasteless. Absolutely no love. 30 euros wasted for two people. Never again.

I remember the barbecue better. The ready-made sauce for the Jägerschnitzel is way too salty. The schnitzel itself had a hint of pressed meat. The salad dressing is so overpowering that you can't even taste what's in your mouth.

The quality has deteriorated considerably; when reheated, the currywurst fries were lukewarm - never again!

The name is fitting; even if you're starving, you'll find delicious food here. Lots of dishes, great value, and friendly service. Keep up the good work 👍

Unfortunately I have to say that I have been a customer of his often enough. Today I had fries with gyros. The fries were not through the hamburger and the bun was completely baked like concrete. Very bad review.

The fact that Sunday is mistakenly considered open, but Mondays are closed. It's a shame that no one answers the phone to ask whether I can go there today or not.

Went there for the first time on Tuesday, March 25th, 2025 and were immediately greeted and served as if we were regular guests. Love this mentality. The food was delicious and you can also be flexible with special requests here!

The order was take out. The portions of fries were far too small and the bowls were only half full. The fries served were enough for three half bowls, the fourth bowl had to be fried later. As a result, the first three bowls of fries were soggy and cold. At home I discovered that the Jägerschnitzel was packaged without sauce. This is the worst chip shop I have ever ordered from. That's why there are zero stars. Never again bear grill!!!

There is a currywudelle, i.e. currywurst and curry meatball with fries. Absolutely wonderful.

Very nice place with very nice people behind the counter. We only recently moved to this area, but as people from Oberhausen we of course knew the Bärengrill. The fact that the grill room is now only a two-minute walk away for us is even better. The only important thing is, according to Frank Rosin, not to let up, but rather to keep getting better.

I bought half chicken 🍗 and cabbage 🌿 salad. Chicken juicy and crispy. Herb salad doesn't have too much sugar, it's optimal and fresh. Price is cheap and clean store, friendly people. I recommend this snack bar.

The Bärengrill is a veteran in the Knappenviertel! There is a very good selection, from delicious schnitzel to gyros or cevapcici! There are also good offers regularly.

One of the last chip shops in the OB and MH area. Delicious fries and salads. Diverse offer. Nice staff and friendly owner. We always like to come.

I was recently at the Bärengrill in Oberhausen and tried the currywurst with fries. I have to say, it was a top currywurst. The meat was tender and juicy, the curry sauce had just the right amount of spice and spiciness. Plus the crispy fries - simply perfect! But it wasn't just the food that impressed me, the service and the atmosphere in the restaurant were also excellent. The owner is very friendly and attentive and is great to talk to. The Bärengrill is one of the last restaurants in the area that still offers really good “German cuisine”. In a time when kebabs and pizza dominate, it's refreshing to have an address where you can enjoy classics like currywurst and schnitzel. Overall, I can only recommend a visit to the Bärengrill.

Once Upon a time.... A good snack bar, schnitzel fried potatoes underground. I don't like it there anymore

I drove 180 km to the Bären Grill. I was looking forward to currywurst and fries. Result: I got an old currywurst with fries. Fries ok. Sausage firm and dry. It was probably from the day before. I didn't show up until Sunday at 12. Seller says: it's normal. It's like always Sorry, do I have to understand that? Unfortunately I also ordered 2 half fresh grilled chickens.. What do I get: 2 pieces fried in frying oil. What's that supposed to mean? I am not satisfied with the performance.

My children ordered three medium fries in my presence and received three small fries, but were charged as medium fries. Complete rip off! If this is supposed to be a medium size, then I don't want to know how small the small one should be. Outrageously stingy! & last but not least we get a carrying bag with just one handle. So we definitely won't go there again. Luckily there are enough other snack bars on Knappenstr.

Went there for the first time today, right after it opened. Very friendly boss, very good food, the grill plates were really good. We come back often.

Coming from further away, we thought we would give it a try. What can I say? It was very bad. The shop smells like it hasn't been cleaned properly in a while and the food tasted exactly like that. My husband and I felt sick afterwards and would never go there again. There isn't really any seating there for older people and children.

I was at the Bären Grill for the first time on my tour yesterday at lunchtime and only had a short time... I ordered a currywurst fries to take away and thought...it might take a while for the big teddy bear in the red shirt to move... There were 3 other people in front of me and they were waiting too, but suddenly everything happened so quickly that I didn't even notice that my food was already ready 👍👍👍Keep it up and I'll be happy to come back on my next tour 👌👌 As promised, I was with you again this afternoon and was really happy to see the big teddy bear in the red shirt again 🙋👨‍🍳👨‍🍳 To my amazement, this is really a real chef who has learned his craft 👍👍 Despite the fact that the store was very full and there were no more seats, everything went on at a calm and confident pace. So my conclusion is that the Bären Grill has gained a personality. The boss can only be happy about such a friendly, funny teddy bear who still finds the time to say a few nice words to one or the other and still utters a casual saying every now and then 👍👍👍 So in that sense... Keep it up.......

Food was delicious compared to other Imbiss in Oberhausen. The Service was always good with the Owner always there to make sure the customer is treated well. Atmosphere just Ok esp. when is not in busy hour it's nice to dining in.

Was here for the first time today. The food is really tasty, fries are crispy as they should be, and the onion sausage had a good portion of onion on it. If I'm in the area again soon I'll 100% come back.
