Everything is truly incredible. Every dish I've ordered so far has always been excellent in both taste and presentation. The decor is incredibly beautiful and elegant, and the various bars invite you to linger. The atmosphere is quiet but luxurious, and the guests are always pleasant (the prices probably already influence this). My absolute favorite restaurant in Hamburg and possibly even in all of Northern Germany!

Due to a special occasion we treated ourselves to an evening at the grill. And we weren't disappointed. Everything from A to Z, great service, absolutely excellent food and one of the best Crêpe Suzette I've eaten in a long time. It could be that we stop by here again - absolutely recommended!

The food was very good. The ambience is classic, vintage and beautiful. Unfortunately, service did not meet our expectations. We got a moldy dessert, after which we were offered a free round of desserts - but we were also given a second bottle of Silvaner without asking and poured. Glasses not refilled etc. As I said, everything is negligible when I go out to eat around the corner for 30 euros. I have different expectations in this price segment. I don't just want to pay the rent on the Alster, but I also expect first-class service

A simple wow and an experience! Enjoy a perfect dinner at Fairmont Vierjahreszeiten - GRILL. We enjoyed a delicious birthday course menu with a suprise at the end. Our highlights started with salmon tartar with avocado mouse and beef tartar…and we felt in love with the taste. The steak was perfect and on point. The fish of the day was ok. At the we were suprised with a happy birthday and a delicious cake! Enjoy your dinner or lunch next to the fireplace that create an elegant, homely atmosphere and emphasize the harmony of tradition and modernity. It was an to expensive birthday dinner but it was definitly worth it. The service was outstanding xoxo

We went there for a goose meal and it was great! The food is a culinary delight. The staff is excellent and cannot be praised enough. The carving on site and the sommelier's recommendation couldn't have been better. Always attentive and yet reserved, something you rarely find today. Overall, it was another fantastic evening for us. Absolutely recommended and once again the staff and management deserve special praise.

We went there for dinner with friends as part of a stay in Hamburg and really enjoyed the stay. There really is absolutely nothing to complain about here. Starting with the fantastic service, which was always present and yet unobtrusive throughout our stay, to the great food and drinks, each of which deserved its own rating, it was once again a great experience and a great stay. We are already looking forward to our next stay in Hamburg, which will definitely include another evening at the grill. Thank you!!

Vor Jahren war ich bereits einmal Gast im Grill und habe dort das in der Tat großartige Ambiente eines Restaurants eines Grand Hotels wie ein exzellentes Steak Tatar genossen. Daran wollte ich nun mit meiner Familie mit zwei Kindern anknüpfen. Bei der Reservierung über OpenTable wurde ich bereits aufgefordert, meine kompletten Kreditkartendaten online zu hinterlegen, um bei No Show eine Abbuchung einer Stornogebühr in Höhe von 100 Euro pro Person zu genehmigen, damit ich überhaupt reservieren konnte. In Zeiten von immer anfälliger werdender IT-Systemen halte ich das für ein geringschätziges und übergriffiges Verhalten eines Restaurants gegenüber seiner Gäste im Hochpreissegment. Gedankenreise, Unbefugte erlangen Zugriff auf die Kreditkartendaten bei OpenTable. Bis zu welcher Höhe sind Internetangriffe und Abbuchungen von Kreditkarten überhaupt bei OpenTable versichert? Gibt es überhaupt eine Absicherung? Wie schützt sich OpenTable oder haftet bei Internetbetrug das Restaurant und ist dieses in diesem Falle hinreichend geschützt? | Am Vortag Erhalt einer SMS von OpenTable, bei der die Reservierung noch mal bestätigt wird. Und jetzt das Erstaunliche, eine Viertelstunde später erhalte ich eine E-Mail von OpenTable, ob ich die Reservierung denn jetzt auch wirklich wahrnehmen möchte mit Bestätigungslink. Warum die redundante Abfrage. Eindeutig einmal zu viel und in der zweiten Ausführung überflüssig. Ich gehe auch nicht davon aus, dass die Zielgruppe des Restaurants darauf sonderlich erpicht ist. | Meine Familie sitzt an einem sehr schönen Tisch, meine Frau bittet bei der Nachfrage nach Getränken, dass sie noch Zeit benötigt, die bekommen wir bis zur Bestellungsaufnahme: ganze 45 Minuten. Inakzeptabel. | Auf beide Kinder wird Null eingegangen. in jeder drittklassigen Pizzeria erhalten Kinder (2/6 Jahre) zumindest einen Lutscher, obwohl Pralinen aus der Patisserie offen herumliegen. Kein Malset, obwohl vorhanden - hochgradig unprofessionell für ein Haus dieser Kategorie.

The service is of course something special here compared to a normal restaurant. The waiter was very nice, water was poured without being asked, a side table was set up for the handbag and, and, and... It's a nice atmosphere here, relatively quiet so you can have a good conversation. Depending on what you order, I actually find the prices really reasonable for a special evening here. The food was of course also very tasty, the sauce was very aromatic and the turkey meat was not dry and had a crispy skin on the outside. If you're looking for something special, I would definitely consider the GRILL again!

Der Service ist verglichen mit einem normalen Restaurant natürlich etwas besonderes hier. Der Kellner war sehr nett, Wasser wurde unaufgefordert nach geschüttet, für die Handtasche wird ein Beistelltisch herangestellt und, und, und... Es ist eine schöne Atmosphäre hier, relativ ruhig sodass man sich gut unterhalten kann. Je nachdem was man bestellt finde ich die Preise für einen besonderen Abend hier eigentlich wirklich sehr angemessen. Das Essen war natürlich auch sehr lecker, die sauce sehr aromatisch und das Puten Fleisch nicht trocken und außen eine knusprige Haut. Wenn man mal etwas besonderes sucht, würde ich den GRILL durchaus wieder in Erwägung ziehen!

Really a beautiful place. The service was top notch, the food was fantastic. It really is a place you should visit. We had booked a table and got to sit in the living room with the fine wallpaper. We both got a delicious steak, with truffle fries and béarnaise (really delicious sauce). For dessert we had creme brulee and pavlova. 2 really good desserts.

Yesterday evening we had the pleasure of visiting the “Grill” restaurant in the renowned Hotel Vier Saisonn in Hamburg. We were impressed by the stylish ambience and the exquisite cuisine. We would particularly like to highlight the lobster cocktail that was served as an appetizer. The freshness and sophistication of this dish were impressive. For the main course we chose the beef fillet, accompanied by creamy mashed potatoes, aromatic noble mushrooms and delicious bacon-Brussels sprouts. Every component was perfectly prepared and harmonized wonderfully with each other. The crowning finale was the Crêpe Suzette prepared at the table. This classic dessert was presented with great finesse and was a real treat. A special thank you goes to Ms. Tamara Weilguni, whose perfect service expertise, friendliness and optimal advice made the evening unforgettable. Her smile and professionalism contributed greatly to this wonderful experience. We are already looking forward to our next visit and can warmly recommend the “Grill” at the Hotel Vier Saisonn. A place where warmth, perfect service and culinary excellence come together.

Es war der 60 Geburtstag meiner Ehefrau die vor über 40 Jahren im Hotel im Zimmerservice gearbeitet hat. Die Überraschung am Tisch war sehr gelungen. Am Tisch wurden wir zuvorkommend, aufmerksam und sehr freundlich behandelt. Bei der Weinauswahl wurden wir fachmännisch beraten und die Wahl war hervorragend.

Wir hatten uns auf einen schönen Abend im Grill bei gutem Essen gefreut. Leider wurde es nur für eine Person zum Erlebnis. Maronencremesuppe, Tatar mit getrüffelten Pommes, Pavlowa, Wein… Alles wunderbar. Leider kam dann die Poulardenbrust für die andere Person: Sonderwünsche zu den Beilagen etc. wurden berücksichtigt, ABER: die Konsistenz des Fleisches war ganz merkwürdig. Das Fleisch war durchgebraten, aber die Konsistenz im Mund war dennoch wie roh. Es war ein recht dickes Stück Hähnchen, und auch nach dem nochmaligen Braten (scheinbar nur ganz kurz) änderte sich die Konsistenz überhaupt nicht. Wir hatten beide probiert und haben beide keinen Appetit auf diese Hähnchenbrust gehabt. Zwar wurde uns nach zweimaliger Reklamation sehr großzügig entgegengekommen (danke noch einmal dafür!), aber es wirft leider einen Schatten auf unseren Besuch, und wir waren enttäuscht, da wir so etwas im Vier Jahreszeiten nicht erwartet hätten und auch noch nie erlebt haben.

We were guests at the hotel and wanted to take this opportunity to try out the Grill restaurant again. The last time we were there was about 2 years ago. In summary, the conclusion is rather disappointing, which is due to various circumstances: There are only two services, either at 6pm or 8.30pm. This gives the guest very little flexibility in terms of time. Due to our arrival in the evening we had to decide on 8.30 p.m. We still asked, but the table wasn't available beforehand. The late seating meant that we received our main course at around 10:15 p.m. Definitely too late for us and we couldn't really enjoy the sole anymore. Ordering the champagne took quite a long time because half the bottle was apparently not available. They then charged for 4 glasses instead, which ended up being more expensive than the bottle we wanted. It's a detail, but still a bit jarring (considering the overall experience). Side note: To our astonishment, we saw someone trying to bring the half bottle we wanted and then disappearing halfway there. When ordering the appetizer, I asked how big the lobster roll was. We then received scallop gratin instead. When I pointed out that we had ordered the lobster rolls, the answer was that we said scallops. Something you shouldn't answer in service (even if the guest is actually wrong, which was definitely not the case with us) . 1/2 lobster, which we also ordered as a starter, is clearly overpriced. Shrimp cocktail and lobster bisque were very good. The sole for the main course was excellent. One of the inserts wasn't right, but we decided not to replace it. Unsightly: unfortunately there was still a hair in the sole plate. Atmosphere: We generally like the restaurant and the Martini Bar very much. The furnishings look tasteful and have style. The martinis were very good. Unsightly: there was apparently a wedding that evening. We heard loud music and screaming behind us (the room was separated by a door), music from the DJ was coming from the front. That reduced the ambience significantly. And at more than 500 euros for dinner for two, you can expect certain things to be impeccable. Although the food was excellent, we probably won't be returning for dinner.

As a family, we have been visiting the Four Seasons Hotel on and off for 15 years and the grill is one of the main reasons why. The whole team is very friendly and creates a very pleasant atmosphere. The renovation last year further developed the old charm. As a starter you can recommend the lobster rolls, the scallops and the beef consommé. The main courses Wiener Schnitzel, Saison Burger and the chicken breast are all very tasty. On our last visit we tried the Oldenburg Land Duck and that was definitely the right decision. Together with the presentation at the table and the delicious side dishes, it was a great experience. Homemade ice cream is recommended for dessert. A special highlight is Crêpe Suzette, which is flambéed at the table. There are exclusive pralines from Sprüngli to accompany your coffee. We are already looking forward to our next visit to the grill!

Der Grill ist vom Ambiente her sicherlich eines der schönsten Restaurants in Hamburg. Allerdings sollte bei dem Preisniveau (70 € für eine nacktes Stück Steinbutt) auch der Service perfekt sein und dazu gehört meiner Meinung nach, dass die Suppe nicht vor dem Wein serviert wird.

Vielen Dank. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Alles top. Na klar, die Preise würde ich nicht gerade als günstig bezeichnen, aber das wussten wir ja vorher. Tatar als Vorspeise war mega, dem Burger fehlte meiner Meinung nach ein wenig Pepp für die 34 Euro. Aber nochmals, es war ein sehr schöner Abend mit der Familie mit sehr nettem Service.

Zwei Sitzungszeiten in der Preisklasse finde ich unpassend. Sehr viele Ansätze vom Nikkei Nine übernommen. Eine eigene Handschrift vom Grill (trifft nicht auf die Speisekarte zu) ist schwer erkennbar. Leider wurde bei der Reservierung nicht auf die beiden Sitzungszeiten hingewiesen. Ebenfalls wurde versäumt mitzuteilen, dass Umbauarbeiten stattfinden. Auch war die traditionelle Zubereitung des Crêpe Suzette am Tisch nicht möglich. Sehr sehr aufmerksamer Service. Überraschte mit einem netten Geburtstagsständchen sowie einer kulinarischen Überraschung für das „Geburtstagskind“! Positiv zu erwähnen ist, dass das Restaurant an einem Montag geöffnet hat.

I went for my anniversary to GRILL. And it was amazing! the food was amazing! it was really well prepared. the ambiance was very beautiful and fancy. the service was like nothing I have ever experienced! we got congratulated by many waiters with our anniversary! And we even got rose pedals on our table! overall it was an amazing experience and I will come back with my girlfriend! I would definitely suggest having dinner at GRILL.

The ‘Grill’ used to be an art deco masterpiece! Since its renovation however, it transformed into an ‘Instagram’ show off place, overloaded with decoration - very nouveau riche. The worst thing is the introduction of different seating times, making it more of a volume business, rather than allowing guests to enjoy an unforgettable night as it used to be. Really sad to see the changes, but maybe as a 40 year old, I’m not the target group anymore.

Anyone who has been here and doesn't know how to appreciate and enjoy it is lost. Classic grill menu in the best possible sense, prepared to the point with great attention to detail, the highest quality, opulent wine list, absolutely seductive the newly designed boudoir: a true work of art has been created here. We would like to thank everyone, especially the attentive and relaxed service, but also the interior design geniuses of this room, Parisian elegance, the lightness of the south transferred to the Hanseatic city. Zu einem Geburtstagsessen mit Freunden waren wir im Jahreszeiten Grill - Es war wieder sehr schön. Obwohl ich nicht ganz verstehe wieso Eltern mit Säuglingen den Grill aufsuchen. Das Kind schrie die ganze Zeit. Dafür kann das Kind nichts. Und der Jahreszeiten Grill auch nicht. Nichtsdestotrotz war unser Abend sehr gelungen - Leckeres Essen, leckere Getränke und sehr leckere Speisen. Im Detail gab es ein Pfifferlingsrisotto, Rinderfilet und ein Tomahawk Steak für Zwei. Die Speisen waren zum Niederknien. Als Desert gab es einen Apple Crumble zum Teilen und zwei Crêpe Suzette. Auch hier alles super. Service stets aufmerksam. Danke für den wunderschönen Abend!

Wer hier war und es nicht zu schätzen und genießen weiß, ist verloren. In allerbesten Sinne klassisches Grill – Menü, mit großer Aufmerksamkeit zum Detail auf den Punkt zubereitet, allerhöchste Qualität, opulente Weinkarte, absolut verführerisch das neu gestaltete Boudoir: Hier ist ein wahres Gesamtkunstwerk entstanden. Wir danken allen, insbesondere vom aufmerksamen und entspannten Service, aber auch den innenarchitektonischen Genies dieses Raumes, pariserische Eleganz, Leichtigkeit des Südens in die Hansestadt transferiert. The receptionist was very friendly and we immediately felt very comfortable. The starter was excellent, although one might think about serving a small potato pancake more with three salmon rolls. The steak was of very good quality and comparable to Theo's in preparation and taste. The only problem was that the steak was extremely salty and therefore didn't taste good. It was just barely edible. When the waiter came and asked how it tasted, I said it was too salty, but didn't ask for another one since I had already eaten half of it. I thought it was a shame that the waiter didn't respond. Looking back, I don't know why I ate the steak even though I wasn't satisfied. But something like that shouldn't have happened in a restaurant in this price range. All in all, it was still a nice evening. Finally, I would recommend differentiating yourself more clearly from Theo's. Of course the interior is much nicer, but the menu is missing something special, such as Beef Wellington. Something that is not available in other restaurants.

Since the very elegant restaurant was located in our hotel, we visited it at lunchtime and enjoyed an excellent lunch. All of the food we ate was excellent. Meat and fish were top. All employees are very respectful, always polite and helpful. As is the case in the entire hotel. We had a very nice afternoon. Absolutely recommended.

I was passing by the street when I turned around and saw the Hotel and looked for information and it said Restaurante Grill, I entered and I loved the food, the service and a charming Spanish woman who served us in our Spanish language. I felt well cared for.

We visited the Grill while staying at Vier Jahreszeiten and we were not disappointed! The service was absolutely spectacular, and our waiter was great at conversing with us and creating an amazing experience. The Crepes Suzette is for sure recommended, great show! 5/5

Delicious food and good wine recommendations. Today's fish is the best fish dish I've tasted and the beef tartar was gigantic. Both things were arranged at the table. Cozy and relaxed atmosphere, although the place is very posh and expensive. Our waiter Connor (and the others) were very helpful and had a good sense of humour. All in all a really good experience.

In my humble opinion the best steak restaurant in Hamburg. Point. But first things first: My best friend and I were at the Hotel Vier Seasons on Friday at 5:30 p.m. to get us in the mood for the evening with a small pre-dinner cocktail. The beautiful hall, which is located directly in front of the restaurant, is simply iconic, homely and invites you to linger. So we snuggled up in the armchair and enjoyed a wonderful, tangy whiskey sour. A very nice lady accompanied us to the restaurant at 6 p.m. sharp, where we immediately took our place on the gallery. We had a great view over the main room and also a small sofa. That's why for us it's the best place in the whole house. Our contact person for the evening was Johann, who looked after us with an incredible amount of charm, reserved attention and extensive product knowledge. At this point, thank you very much, dear Johann, you and your colleagues ensured an unforgettable evening with your impeccable service. Ambiance and service are two extremely important aspects of a restaurant, but the food comes first. And that was just a bomb! We had Ossietra Caviar, Scallops and Lobster Rolls as starters. The caviar was creamy, slightly mineral, pleasantly salty and very umami. The scallops were grilled to perfection and the combination with the champagne foam was simply brilliant. Definitely try it! The lobster rolls were nicely spicy thanks to the iconic Old Bay seasoning and the lobster was sweet and light. All in all, a harmonious atmosphere from the sea. On Johann's recommendation, the starter was accompanied by probably the most delicious rose sweet wine I have drunk in my life. For the main course we chose the Chateaubriand from Greater Omaha Packing Inc. and the Jack's Creek Wagyu. Both were beautifully carved at the table (Dinner and a Show is always great, but more on that later...) and were perfectly medium-rare. The Chateaubriand was as tender as butter and the knife barely had any trouble cutting it. The taste is slightly nutty, intensely meaty and with a nice crust. The Wagyu, on the other hand, was just butter in the best sense of the word. It melted in the mouth with a very, very light bite. World class. It is said that dessert is the most important course in a meal because you leave the restaurant thinking about dessert. And the grill at Four Seasons delivered. Here I also take up the Dinner and a Show aspect again, because in addition to a Creme Brulee (my personal favorite dessert), we also ordered the Crepes Suzette. Johann then prepared these in front of our eyes (and our corresponding enthusiasm), with the flash of flame during flambéing being of course the highlight. No matter how many times I see it, it's always cool. Both tasted great and were an absolutely worthy end to our menu. Thank you for an incredibly lovely evening.

Grill is one of the 3 Restaurants inside the 4 Season in Hamburg, the restaurant has an amazing view over the Internal lake of the city, very central, the Restaurant offer a very various menù from Pasta to Burgers and Grilled fish to Beef tartare, everything served and presented in a very 4 Season way, the prices are normally higher then around, but that's to be expected in such a place, service is impeccable, food has certainly and high quality. The wine menù is wide, with a good choice from Germany, Austria, France and Italy. Location: 9 Vibes: 8 Service: 9 Food: 9 Wine Menù: 8 Absolutely a must try in Hamburg for a special occasion. For 2 people with a bottle of wine the price is going to be around 300-400€ for the dinner

Es ist ein einmaliges und wunderschönes Erlebnis im Grill zu speisen; das Ambiente, die Dekoration, die Möbel und besonders der sehr gute Service sind hervorzuheben; da das Preisniveau jedoch sehr hoch ist, für mein Befinden könnte der Preis etwas moderater sein; denn auch die Person mit einem schmaleren Geldbeutel möchte doch in den Genuss kommen, das Restaurant zu besuchen. Waiting almost an hour for two bowls of ramen, a plate of sushi and a poke bowl. Udon looked and tasted like salty dishwater with pieces of chewy chicken and vegetable scraps thrown in for good measure. Probably a good thing they forgot the spring rolls.
