Griechisches Restaurant Platon in Quedlinburg

My family and I really enjoy visiting this restaurant. A very varied menu, everyone will find a dish to their taste. Friendly staff, fast service! They will always tell you everything and give advice. We like to come and will come back!

To start with, you can say that the parking situation is very difficult, there is a gym parking lot next to the restaurant, which is not intended for the restaurant, so you had to park on the street, where there is relatively little space. Ambiance is okay, very rustic and still a bit bright due to the lighting. The starter (garlic bread with tzatziki) was very above average, which was also my personal highlight of the evening. The starter salad wasn't that convincing, it had a very sour taste, which was relatively inappropriate in the overall package. The main course (412, chicken breast with Metaxa sauce and Cretan potatoes) was quite average, the chicken was a bit bland in taste, the potatoes were okay, very crispy, which is to be welcomed. In my opinion there are too many and too small pieces of mushrooms, which is quite detrimental for people who don't like eating mushrooms. Service was very simple, not a big highlight. In terms of price, however, it was quite a stunner, I had a large Cola Zero to drink and paid a total of €35.90, which is pretty steep for one person. Finally, I wouldn't necessarily recommend the restaurant because other cities in the area would be a better alternative in terms of price and taste

The food here is very tasty. I just think that the few service staff are a bit overwhelmed for the size of the restaurant. The wrong drinks were brought and I asked for a straw three times before I got one myself 😉. But it wasn't too bad now. It was also very crowded, but I understand that you can't remember everything. They were all friendly 🤗. We'd love to come back.

I can only recommend it to everyone

It was a recommendation to eat at this restaurant...we didn't regret it. The food was just great...everything hot and freshly prepared. The food was just so tasty. All ingredients are of very good quality and not like you have experienced in other restaurants with, for example, champions from the can. Just like the food, the service was very attentive and friendly. People kept asking if everything was OK. It was our first time here, but not the last time. The obese cashier was unfriendly, arrogant and insulting. The other staff, on the other hand, made a lot of effort with the guests. The food was okay, as you would expect from a Greek restaurant.

Wir waren am ersten Abend rein zufällig hier und haben gleich für einen weiteren Abend einen Tisch reserviert. Das Essen war beide Male sehr schmackhaft, das Personal sehr freundlich und man merkt einfach, dass hier mit Liebe gekocht wird. Der Tarama z.B. wird hier noch hausgemacht, es wird viel wert auf Frische und Geschmack gelegt. Das Lamm butterweich, egal in welcher Variante und auch das übrige Fleisch sehr zart und saftig. Wenn das Restaurant doch nur in unserer Nähe wäre…

We received a warm welcome in the restaurant. The selection of food and drinks is numerous, so there should be something for every taste. When we mentioned when ordering that we would like to have a "robber plate" for the children and our starters/main course, we were very pleasantly surprised when the kitchen had already divided the food into two portions. A big thank you again for that. Especially with children's meals. The service and food was great. We'll be happy to come back on our next Harz holiday :-)

We sat outside in very warm weather. A very friendly staff constantly looked after us. The children were given an ice cream for dessert, the adults an ouzo before and after the meal. Food was great. Large portions, excellent quality. Of course, now often over 20 euros per dish - but where not. We'll be back

The service was friendly. Gyros was fried too hard (most of it was burnt) Potato wedges, and the rice was really not tasty.. The fish was delicious.. We certainly won't go back. Ps We informed the waiter He has apologized, And took the leftover food back with me.

Great atmosphere with good food and great service.

We had a lovely meal (platte Crete and walnut ice cream) it tasted lovely and we were very full when we went home. The surroundings were cozy (many details to look at). The service was friendly and accommodating. We thought the tzatziki was a bit thin (it lacked cucumber to our taste), but it is probably a different recipe than the one we have tasted before😀 all in all, the warmest recommendations from here

After we had such a great meal here on vacation last year, we of course went straight back here on our first evening. This time too we were not disappointed. Very attentive staff, friendly and really quick. The food, as always, was absolutely great. Value for money is great. We can fully recommend this restaurant.

Service, restaurant and ouzo were good, but the food was mostly terrible. We had grilled pepperoni and garlic bread and I had a fish platter for my main course. The pepperoni was quite dry, but still ok. Unfortunately, there was hardly any oil and enough garlic in the pepperoni to add any flavor to the bone-dry garlic bread. :-( The fish platter (including the fish and prawns) was completely fried (this is completely normal with squid rings), as you would only expect at a harborside fish stall. The only edible thing was actually the frozen potatoes. I hope the chef had the day off, which would explain everything. Ultimately, I had to say that I didn't have to pay for the fish platter in the end. Nevertheless, there are better Greeks in Quedlinburg.

We were visiting Quedlinburg and were looking for a place to eat in the evening. Spontaneously going out to eat seems difficult in Quedlinburg. The only place where this was possible was the Greek restaurant Platon. Our experience: Service was very nice, atmosphere was fine. The food came quite quickly, but the quality was below average. Ordered: grilled scampi and fish platter (2 scampi, plaice fillet, calamari with potato wedges and vegetables. All of the seafood was unseasoned, completely tasteless, the bread for the tzatziki was dry (dusty), but the tzatziki was very good. The prices were not at all appropriate for the quality of what was served (prices per meal €25 and €26). For this price you can expect good cuisine and well-prepared food. At least that wasn't the case at the time. It's a shame...

We have been to Quedlinburg several times for a few days. Our path always led to Plato... the BEST Greek that we visited. Super delicious cuisine, super nice service and the price is right too. We will be back definitely. Stay as you are. 😍

The food was delicious. The prices OK. The service was also great. The food came quickly even though it was quite busy. 4/5 stars because there are better restaurants, but I can still recommend this one with a clear conscience.

Very tasty and rich food. Very good selection of food, children's meals and for small appetites. As a surprise, the children received ice cream for dessert! The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

COMPLIMENT! Absolutely authentic Greek food. The menu is relatively large, so the quality of the food is all the more amazing. The starters (saganaki and feta in filo dough) were incredibly good. We were thrilled. The highlight, however, were the main courses. I have never eaten such delicious, juicy and perfectly fried salmon, the liver was just as tender and fried to perfection. The portions are large, so unfortunately we couldn't fit any more dessert. A family-run restaurant, the passion for good food can clearly be felt here! We will definitely come back on our next visit to the Harz. Thank you for this lovely evening.

We've been going to these Greeks for years! Of course, the prices have increased depending on the circumstances! The beer for €3.60 was very shocking, glass of wine was €8! Ouzo, which you normally get with your meal, is suddenly on the bill, unfortunately this has happened many times! After asking why, excuses came! We are actually considering whether we would rather go somewhere else! More money for less goods!

It's rare to get a seat without a reservation, so it's better to reserve in advance. The service is always friendly and nice. I personally like the food very much and the portions are large enough to fill you up.

Platon...das war doch der Mann mit den guten Ideen. Es gab viel Ouzo, wir wollten nicht geh'n!!!Es gab so viel zum Essen man wollte es nur sehen. Gäbe es eine Unterkunft würde ich nie wieder gehen. Echt perfekt, toller Wirt, super Essen, Service wie man es sich vorstellt. Wer Griechenland mag, mag diesen Laden!

Selten so ein gutes griechisches Restaurant besucht. Mega Ambiente, super freundliches Personal und das Essen ein Traum. Dafür würde ich immer wieder von Hannover nach Quedlinburg fahren. Haben hier zwei sehr schöne Abende verbracht.

Ich liebe dieses Restaurant. Essen ist immer lecker, Chef und Personal immer freundlich/freundschaftlich. Ich bin seit vielen Jahren immer mal wieder Gast hier und habe es noch nie bereut. Die Preise sind natürlich nicht optimal aber man geht ja auch nicht jeden Tag aus. Ich kann das Platon jedem empfehlen der gerne griechisch essen geht.

Es war ein bestelltes 3-Gang Menue für ca. 20 Personen. Vorspeise: ein Salat. Hauptgang: naja. Nachspeise: zwei Kugeln undefinierbarer Creme, was als Eis angekündigt wurde.

Ein sehr schönes griechisches Restaurant mit ordentlichen Portionen auf dem Teller. Man fühlt sich willkommen, wohl und wird gut umsorgt. An Speisen und Getränken gibt es alles, was das Herz begehrt. Wir waren schon oft dort und kommen gern immer wieder.

Es war ein sehr schön und das Essen war sehr lecker. Wir kommen wieder.

Sehr gemütlicher Grieche und mit Vorbestellung hat das eine Stunde vor der gewünschten Zeit gut funktioniert. Es wird auf 2 Etagen bedient. Essen und Bedienung war sehr gut und flott. Preise waren angemessen und nicht überzogen. Mich hat es nur gewundert, dass noch viele Tische frei waren. Bei uns in der Region zum Freitagabend undenkbar. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und können es nur empfehlen. Wenn wir mal wieder in Quedlinburg sind, kommen wir gerne wieder 👍

Man sollte vorher einen Tisch vorbestellen, es ist sehr gut besucht. Essen war super, Personal sehr zuvorkommend und der Inhaber total gastfreundlich. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen.

Das Essen war super lecker. Fante toll das gefragt wurden ist bei kind ob es Salat haben möchte auf Wunsch von uns gab es gurke alles super geklappt und es war lecker. Waren nach langer Zeit mal mit Oma essen.

Super Essen wie immer! Wir fahren extra aus Halberstadt nach Quedlinburg, weil Service, Essen, Ambiente überzeugen. Egal ob zu Zweit oder oft wie heute, in großer Familienrunde, ankommen, wohlfühlen, schmecken lassen. Hier passt der Slogan " Essen bei Freunden"!

Wir haben am vergangenen Samstag zur Mittagszeit einen Platz zum Essen gesucht. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen, bekamen auch ohne Reservierung einen sehr schönen Tisch. Die Bedienung war super freundlich. Der Chef des Hauses ging von Tisch zu Tisch und begrüßte alle Gäste. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Tolle Idee, dass es eine ganze Reihe Gerichte für den kleinen Hunger gibt. Außerdem gibt es auch griechisches Bier.

Hier bestätigt sich die klassische Touri Regel: die Besten sind immer etwas abseits vom Zentrum zu finden. Kannte das Platon bereits vom letzten Aufenthalt 2020 und kehrte somit sehr gerne wieder hier ein. Hier wird man freundlich begrüßt, witzig und fix bedient und auch wenn es auf Fotos vielleicht nicht so wirkt, die Portionen sind regelrecht angsteinflössend 😳😅. Wollte ursprünglich einen Bauernsalat zusätzlich zur Ouzo Platte, wurde hingewiesen, dass diese bereits einen Salat enthält und ich vielleicht lieber etwas nachbestelle, falls es nicht reicht. Dieser Salat war dann auch in der Tat mehr als ausreichend. Welches andere Restaurant macht das? Ich war mehr als bedient - im Positiven. Griechisch in Quedlinburg? Für mich nur hier. 😍🇬🇷

Grieks restaurant die buiten het historisch centrum ligt. Bij deze druk bezochte zaak kan je maar beter reserveren. De vriendelijke baas is alom aanwezig. Direct bij aankomst kregen we gratis een Ouzo op tafel. Jammer dat we geen alcohol drinken.Ik nam het stoofpotje van lamsvlees en dat heb ik me niet beklaagd; SUPER. Mijn vrouw nam de garnalen en dat was ook een super bord. Alles tesamen betaalden we met 2 grote cola 54€ . Deze plaats zouden we zeker aanraden.Ruime keuze .
