Optisch echt aus der Zeit gefallen, Bedienung recht wortkarg, aber freundlich. Das Essen ist geschmacklich in Ordnung. Wir haben schon besser aber auch schlechter gegessen. Preis - Leistung grenzwertig okay. Nur Barzahlung möglich!

We reserved a table on a Friday evening. Despite the full house, the food (starter and main course) was served very quickly and tasted delicious 😋. A good selection of drinks. Not our last time.

Very friendly staff, we were also allowed to visit the restaurant with 3 medium-sized dogs and the dogs were offered water. The food was delicious and what was left was packed up. The only bad thing is that we were offered places with dogs that were a bit quick, right at the door, but otherwise we were treated very courteously

We decided to eat there at short notice on Saturday evening. I called and promptly got a table. The two waiters were super quick and very friendly. We had the -cooking platter for 2- including salad and tzatziki fries and rice. Additionally the garlic bread The meat was tender and juicy right down to the last bite. The salad is crisp and fresh. We can absolutely recommend the restaurant and would love to come back!!!

Overall a nice restaurant with good quality food. It was a real shame that we received our bill at 10 p.m. without being asked, and actually just left it on the table without saying a word. Although the opening time is declared until 10:30 p.m. And I found the fact that I was asked to tip 10% to be really bold. A second visit there is no longer an option for me.

Very decent Greek restaurant, had fried peppers as a starter, they are really very spicy, then there was an Artos plate... 65...very tasty. I think the chef won a prize for cooking quickly. It's unbelievable how quickly the order was placed the table was... top...

I don't know why they are rated so poorly. Food was very good and plentiful. The prices are okay for the island conditions. The service was friendly and attentive.

Children are not welcome. Demand on site for 4 adults and 3 children. Large table apparently free, view of the children and we knew straight away. Request rejected. We then went to the Amaris restaurant at the Sassnitz harbor and were warmly welcomed there.

Food was forgotten, waiters annoyed and disorganized. When you pointed out to the waiter that the food hadn't come, the food was there quickly and tasted okay.

The one star is for the relatively good food. Service just bad. Food order was forgotten and only brought when asked. Waiters absolutely listless and apparently overwhelmed. Prices for the dishes on the menu changed manually and differ from the menu posted outside the door. Unfortunately I cannot recommend it. I'm used to it differently from other Greek restaurants. It's a shame, I would ultimately have preferred to spend my money in another restaurant.

We were there for dinner - the service was ok, but you didn't feel welcome there! The food was simply poorly seasoned and the portions were very small and inadequate for the price charged. If we go out to a Greek restaurant and are not full, despite having an appetizer, no further explanation is needed!! The schnitzel was covered with a canned sauce, unfortunately nothing homemade... When we asked whether we could get the ouzo that was advertised on the menu on the ouzo plate, we were told that we had to pay for it..... everything was a bit strange!!!! Conclusion of this experiment - never eating there again!!!! Many snack shops try harder and offer a better price-performance ratio!!!

Arte with typical Greek dishes, prices on the menu are sometimes difficult to read because they are handwritten. Portions ok, some of the meat was seared a little too much, service normal, no farewell, even though only 3 tables were occupied, 1 star deducted because of “cash only”

Free choice of seating for 2 people during the week around 5:30 p.m., food very good and tasty, short waiting times, very friendly service, good value for money, highly recommended.

We have been coming to eat here for 6 years and will now end this friendship. We were always happy to come here but the restaurant has declined significantly. We don't like it here anymore. We won't be coming back again.

The food was okay and tasted good, but compared to the competition from Bergen (Santorini), you got a lot less on your plate and the price of the dishes was a little more expensive here (lunch). The only thing that annoys me is when I order rice and onions and it's still served. I understand if the restaurant had been full, but there was only a second couple in the restaurant. I can actually expect the waiter to listen to the guest! But everyone makes mistakes sometimes (that's okay). The restaurant otherwise makes a neat and clean impression and the toilets were also well maintained!

The food came quickly and the prices were fair, but the meat was so over-seasoned that it was hard to enjoy. Everything else was fine, but especially with a Greek, I expect a decent gyros, steak, etc. Furthermore, the waitress or employee should perhaps take a step back from the customers and not always touch them. Otherwise a nice, well-kept restaurant where you can definitely eat well.

It reassures me that we weren't the only ones who were processed. We arrived and as is usual, you wait at the entrance to be seated. After a while we asked the staff, talking about all the tables, if they had a table available for 3 people... we were told we had to come in, there was nothing outside... a table was chosen, despite there being fewer Guests, not even freshly prepared, had to tell the staff that we wanted fresh cutlery. After we received the card, everything went very quickly, we picked it out, ordered it and the food came quite quickly... placed at a table of 6 people right at the front, so you had to drag your food behind you and your head was already there at the next. No bon appetit, no ouzo, nothing friendly... Now I have to say, the food was delicious and we ate it all up, the chef can't help it with how things are going outside. When we were finished, the plates were pulled away and that's it...no question as to whether it was tasty or whether we wanted anything else. We had to call for the bill because we were ignored. This came and nobody collected it, we put the money (roughly) on the table, my husband and I got up and went out, because otherwise I would have burst my collar. Mothers (old school) was waiting at the place...Then the waiter came, took the money and asked us an ouzo...Mother said it was too late...he ran after her and all I heard was, it was just that Fun... At the table next to us we noticed that the waiter said that €5 is a tip and that we remain friends... that's not possible!!! I know Greek hospitality differently... It's amazing who goes there voluntarily!!!

The ambience is very appealing. The food didn't convince us. Pork fillet and pork steak were perhaps flattened pressed meat. At least it looked like it. Empty glasses were not asked for or responded to.

Never again! Frozen schnitzel with ready-made sauce with lukewarm fries. Then, as a matter of course, a €5 tip was withheld - demanded back and then we were told we didn't have to come back.

We were very disappointed today. We ordered 1x Bifteki and an extra portion of fries with mayonnaise to pick up. (Doesn't sound complicated, does it?) The rice was missing from the Bifteki lunch and the portion of fries that my husband had ordered especially for himself were supposedly in the package with the Bifteki. Please what? When we get home we see that there are not two portions of fries but, as usual, a small portion of side dishes. So I fumbled the fries from my pack so that my husband could have something to eat and scraped off the mayo that had spread over the bifteki. I understand that lunch is like children's portions but that was a very bad program today. Then raise the prices but at least you know what you're getting without having to get so weird and have several people eat out of the same package. I wish you a speedy recovery because the food is otherwise very tasty

... am Sonntag Abend einen freien Tisch für das Abendessen zu bekommen ist schwierig. Wir hatten Hunger und Lust auf griechisches Essen, also haben wir uns an den Rezessionen der Lokale in der Umgebung orientiert. Im Restaurant Olympus hatten wir Glück und es war noch ein Tisch für vier Personen frei und der Weg war auch nicht weit. Das Essen war gut und hat uns entsprochen. Außerdem hat uns der Besuch im Lokal gefallen, weil der Wirt sehr nett und freundlich war. Die Preisgestaltung ist auch vollkommen in Ordnung und so hatten wir einen schönen Abend mit gutem Essen.

We were lucky in the Olympus restaurant and there was still a table available for four people and it wasn't far. The food was good and suited us. We also enjoyed our visit to the restaurant because the landlord was very nice and friendly. The pricing is also completely reasonable and we had a lovely evening with good food.

This 1.5cm thick sunburnt part is a cheese-filled bifteki for 17.90. If you are really brave and have too much money you should definitely order it. It's unbelievable what's served here. I'm at a loss for words, how old was the Bifteki? Unfortunately I can't describe what I feel in words otherwise Google will get on my nerves. Who actually posts here? The reviews are fake. Go to a Greek and compare. Then you'll see what good food is. World-class Sassnitz cuisine😅

If you have a favorite Greek at home, you'll be just as disappointed as we were after the meal. The prices seem quite ok so far, but when you put the quality in relation to it, it's not that great. Small portions, starting with the salad, which only received a splash of dressing, up to what feels like 80 grams of meat, hidden under a lukewarm liquid that is supposed to be the Metaxa sauce, which has a few mushrooms. Unfortunately, it doesn't even deserve the chance of a second visit, instead it's better to spend two weeks with all kinds of fish in the kitchens in the area.

I was received very hospitably, there was an Uzo right away. Salad was delicious and my bifteki was great. Portions just right.

I visited the restaurant “Greek Restaurant OLYMPUS” today and was very disappointed by the waiter's rude comments regarding the tip, and there were toothpicks in my bread. During my stay I developed a sense of selectivity towards visitors. Only large orders and appropriate tips are welcome here. If you have just come to have a snack or a cup of coffee, in this establishment you will be considered dirty and will definitely say it to your face. I do not recommend this establishment to anyone.

Unfortunately, our visit to this restaurant was a disappointing experience. The waiter was extremely rude and the portions were unusually small. To make matters worse, while enjoying the bread, we found two toothpicks in it. It seems that this restaurant only values ​​wealthy guests and those who are just looking for a small snack are considered worthless. Despite the disappointing service, we still left a tip, even though it was not appropriate for such treatment (we were never asked if everything was OK, despite the toothpicks in the bread). When we paid the bill, the waiter also rudely said "slim"!!! Additionally, we weren't even served the traditional Greek drink, even though other guests had it. It seems that the hospitality is selective and only given to those with large bills.

The first impression of the restaurant was not entirely positive. The furnishings made me feel uncomfortable and the chairs were dirty. The waiter was friendly but seemed very absent and tired. The salad was fresh and quite ok. When we received our order it looked very dismal. The gyro was very dry and the pork steak was way too thin.

Man fühlt sich leider als Gast nicht willkommen sondern als störender Fremder. Trotz Reservation wurden wir ohne weiteren Kommentar an der Eingangstür stehen gelassen. Ein Rundumblick im Restaurant zeigte einige freie Tische, daran kann es also nicht gelegen haben. Gäste, die nach uns kamen, wurden sofort zu den Tischen geleitet und weiterhin hat man uns (4 Personen) stur im sehr schmalen Eingangsbereich ignoriert. 20 Minute später und Nachfragen bei der Bedienung durften wir dann doch noch an einem freien Tisch Platz nehmen um..., weiter zu warten. Eine halbe Stunde nach Eintreffen sassen wir dann zwar mal an einem Tisch, von der Bedienung sahen wir aber weiterhin niemanden. Also standen wir auf und verliessen kommentarlos diese ungastliche Gaststätte. Wenigstens hat man uns zugewunken auf dem Weg zur Türe. Ja, so macht man es am Besten, wenn man keine Gäste will (oder braucht?). Vielleicht sollte man schon bei der Reservation seitens Restaurant sagen, dass man eigentlich nicht erwünscht sein wird. Fazit: Unterirdisch schlecht, was die Gastlichkeit betrifft. Wie das Essen ist, werden wir nie erfahren, da wir gar nicht zu einer Speisekarte kamen und uns dieses Restaurant nach dem Erlebten eh nie mehr sieht. Entsprechend werden wir das OLYMPUS weiter empfehlen.

Went to Sassnitz spontaneously and wanted to go out for a delicious Greek meal. We had already eaten in the restaurant before, but this time we were disappointed. I once ordered pork medallions in Metaxa sauce with mushrooms, onions and peppers...I got a minute steak cut in half, 3 pieces of mushrooms, peppers and onions, no trace for a whopping €15.90 My husband ordered a double portion of gyros gratinated - it looked more like a normal portion. So this restaurant will no longer welcome us as guests. We had barely enjoyed the starter when the main course arrived promptly. It would have been better to digest it a bit. It all seemed very quick to us so we left quickly. No recommendation from us

Excellent tasty and very well seasoned food, well-kept drinks, pleasant atmosphere, unusually inexpensive and pleasantly friendly and always attentive staff. Even after a planned second visit, we can again report positive things and fully confirm what has already been written. We haven't had any negative experiences. On the way home on foot, we spontaneously decided to have a quick lunch at the first stop. We immediately felt welcomed and were allowed to choose our own table right by the window. We are completely satisfied and plan to come back to try something else on the menu.

The food tasted really good, but... The service was a disaster. The waiters welcomed us as if they weren't in the mood. They seemed distracted and absent. At some tables there was ouzo, but not at ours. We waited longer for the drinks than for the salad. There was also no “have a nice evening or goodbye” when we left. Absolutely not recommended.

I honestly don't know where to start. Welcome zero. It took an eternity for the menu to arrive, then we ordered drinks and food and the salad came before the drinks. My child's schnitzel was so flat that you could have read the newspaper through it. It was terribly cold in the restaurant. The waiters also ignored newly arrived guests and seemed to have no interest at all. Even if something was missing you had to go to the bar to get it. There was also no kind word or farewell. I've never experienced anything like that from a Greek. I've never had to evaluate anything like that. We were extremely disappointed

People are already used to a lot in the service desert of Germany, but this is the last straw. We made a reservation by phone this afternoon and were now standing in front of the closed door in the evening. There was a hard-to-read notice on the door that said it was closed today(!) for technical reasons. They didn't know that 6 hours in advance and didn't think a call back was necessary??? Wir waren am 30.12.2023 um 12:44 Uhr zum Essen da! Mit der Begrüßung das sie 14 Uhr schließen. Wir haben drei Essen und Getränke bestellt, essen kam ohne Salat und ohne Ouzo . Nicht typisch Griche, denn der Nachbartisch hatte all das. Zwei weiter Pärchen die zum Essen kommen wollten wurden abgewiesen da es bereits 13:15 Uhr war. Sehr enttäuschend und da braucht sich keiner Wunder wenn solche Lokale nicht überleben. Oder das Lokal ist nicht für Touristen!! Sorry die auch gerne gut Geld gelassen hätten! Für guten Service.

Essen war sehr gut, Bedienung allerdings eine Katastrophe. Nachdem wir 15 Minuten am Tisch saßen (es waren nur zwei Tische belegt, der Laden also leer), wurden uns die Karten gereicht, und nach 10 weiteren Minuten erst die Bestellung aufgenommen. Nachdem wir die Vorspeisensalate gereicht bekommen haben (in drei Reichungen für 4 kleine Salate), kam das erste Getränk, nachdem die erste Hauptspeise gereicht wurde das letzte von insgesamt 4 Getränken. Allerdings muss man zugute heißen, dass das Essen sehr schnell angerichtet war. Dennoch hätte man die Getränke hier zusammen servieren können, vor allen Speisen. Das Essen war wirklich sehr lecker, die Portionen fand ich allerdings etwas klein (zumindest beim Bifteki). Das Ambiente hat mir auch gefallen, obwohl mal wieder der Staubwedel geschwungen werden darf. Der Olivenbaum ist voller Spinnweben. Der Service war allerdings sehr unkoordiniert, gefühlt sehr langsam, chaotisch. Sehr nett und höflich! Aber chaotisch. Hat mir nicht gefallen. Positiv find ich auch den Parkplatz hinterm Gebäude, selten geworden heutzutage. Werde höchstens noch zum mitnehmen dort was zu Essen holen.

Wir waren heute das erste…. und ganz sicher auch das letzte Mal hier essen. Wobei das Essen selber sehr lecker und ausreichend war. Daher geben wir dafür gerne 5 Sterne. Allerdings waren die beiden Herren der Bedienung unmöglich. Es hat sich leider keiner für unsere Bestellung interessiert. Als wir dann fragten ob wir bestellen könnten wurde uns ein NEIN zugeblubbert. Einer der Herren kam dann doch noch um die Bestellung aufzunehmen. Dann ging es auch sehr zügig mit dem Essen! Beim begleichen der Rechnung passte dann scheinbar die Höhe des Trinkgeldes nicht. Kein Dank, keine Verabschiedung, kein Ouzo. Sollte die Bedienung der Herren griechischer Humor gewesen sein dann haben wir ihn leider nicht verstanden ….

Die Kellner waren sehr freundlich, selbst unser Vierbeiner hat eine Schüssel Wasser bekommen. Der Salat war frisch und die Tomatensauce sehr lecker. Mein Mann hat sein Essen geschmeckt. Leider hat meine Folienkartoffel sehr komisch gerochen und dementsprechend geschmeckt. Also gabs das trockene Filet für mich. Schade eigentlich...

Nach einer halben Stunde konnten wir endlich Getränke bestellen. Bei den Gerichten wurde dann ein Essen komplett vergessen. Bei diesem endlich nachgereichten Gericht wurden dann statt der Bratkartoffeln frittierte Kartoffelscheiben serviert, die wirklich nicht schmeckten. Die vorgegebene Sitzordnung an den längeren Seiten der rechteckigen Tische führte zu einer unbequemen Enge. Die Portionen waren für die Männer gerade so ausreichend. Dieses Lokal ist nur bedingt empfehlenswert.

Das Essen war Ok, Fleisch ist gut gewürzt, der Reis hat eine angenehme würze, nur die Pommes waren leider sehr lasch. Der Service war nicht so gut, es wurde ein Gericht vergessen und die Rechnung wurde für den ganzen Tisch erstellt, ohne eine Frage zu stellen, ob getrennt oder zusammen.

Wieder das falsche Gericht bekommen 🤷 Tische stehen sehr eng. Die Jungs bemühen sich aber. 🥳

Leckeres Essen, beim Service ein wenig Luft nach oben,

Vorspeise so scharf man schmeckte den Käse nicht mehr. Hauptgerichte nicht richtig gewürzt schmeckte nach nix.Andere Kunden wurden überfreundlich bedient, bekamen umsonst bis zu 4 Ouzo.Wir nach dem bezahlen jeder 1 Ouzo mit der Ansage der ist umsonst raus . Waren 12 Jahre da immer wieder Gast jetzt sicher nicht mehr

Man wurde nett bedient das Essen kam zügig leider war die Fischportion für den Preis sehr klein und 1 uso gab es leider nicht mehr

Wir waren zu dritt da, das Restaurant war ziemlich voll, das Personal sichtlich überfordert damit. Mein Schnitzel war viel zu dünn und dadurch auch einfach nur trocken, meine Freundin hat ein falsches Essen bekommen und zum krönenden Abschluss, erhielten wir noch eine falsche Rechnung, was wir leider erst zuhause bemerkt haben, dadurch haben wir leider etwas mehr bezahlt als wir sollten. Wir können es leider NICHT empfehlen

Ich fang mal so an, Service und Küche unterdurchschnittlich, falsches Gericht bekommen, Cola light/Zero haben wir nicht. Fleisch bestenfalls durchschnittlich, Hacksteak sonderbar. Zum Ambiente, ungemütlich /dunkel.
