Stopped here on the last day of vacation. Very nice reception without a pre-order, and in general the contact with all the employees we met was nice and very polite. The food came in a reasonable amount of time and was great! The Amfipolis is definitely recommended.

Great host, the food was very tasty and lovingly prepared. And the waiter is super friendly. We are already looking forward to the next time.

This restaurant deserves its 5 stars. A comfortable southern-style ambience, excellent service and food with a quality and taste that I have never had from a Greek restaurant. The gyros, a uniqueness. Even my (rather meat-critical) wife was thrilled. Plus tzatziki with pita bread. Even unseasoned for my junior, it tasted great. And I don't even want to start talking about the souvlaki, otherwise I wouldn't be able to stop raving about them for the next few months. Plus the white wine sauce, which I can only warmly recommend to EVERYONE. So all in all a really great Greek place, with the best Greek food I've had so far. Respect to the kitchen 🌻

Very good food, nice service, well-chilled drinks, good price-performance ratio. We were here for the second time today, despite not having a reservation, it was possible to provide us with a tidch. At this point, a big thank you again to the head waiter, who was in a very good mood despite a lot of stress 👍. We really enjoyed it and will happily recommend the restaurant and visit it again. 5 stars that we meant with love 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 keep it up!

To say one thing first...The food was really good. Unfortunately, we didn't feel comfortable at all as guests. The drink took over 10 minutes, this waiter couldn't (wasn't allowed to?) take the food order. The food was then brought after about 80 minutes, without a word of apology. It was only pointed out that everything is freshly prepared... (which is very nice). Unfortunately, we had to chase down new requests for drinks, as well as mayonnaise/ketchup for the children, salt/pepper for seasoning, ... I would also have liked a little more sensitivity with regard to the young guests, in the form of, for example, pens etc. gets when the order takes so long.... What was most annoying for us was that even though we gave calm/factual feedback, we didn't receive an honest apology. I used to work in the catering industry myself and there are busy, hectic times. But then it is important to tell the guests this transparently and encourage them to be patient. An ouzo, for example, would definitely have helped.

Of course it is difficult to get a table at evening times. After all, there are a lot of vacationers here. But if you reserve in time, no problem. The food and service are excellent. We'd love to come back.

The Greek restaurant 'Amfipolis' is centrally located in the pedestrian zone 'Steinstrasse' No. 19. There was an ouzo at the reception and also at the farewell. The staff was very attentive and friendly, the food was delicious. The price-performance ratio was consistently ok. We will be happy to come back.

We ate here with our children today and absolutely loved it. We reserved a table, which is important as it gets very busy on the weekend. When we arrived, we and especially the children were warmly welcomed and offered something to paint. We had a comfortable table near the counter and all of the staff were super nice and accommodating. As you passed by, you would see if a glass was empty and immediately ask if you wanted something new. The food was super tasty, hot and the portions were totally sufficient! Even the children ate really well. There was an ouzo before AND after the meal. We have absolutely nothing to complain about and would love to come back again on our next vacation!

Nach einem anstrengenden Mieswetterlauf wurden wir NordseeläuferInnen freundlichst aufgenommen und erhielten trotz später Stunde noch einen Tisch im besetzten Restaurant. Die Speisen mundeten hervorragend, auch VegetarieInnen waren äußerst zufrieden. Zudem erwärmten 4 Ouzos für JEDEN (Gruß des Lokals) unsere Läuferseelen. Ein aufmerksamer, witziger Kellner ließen uns wie "zu Hause"fühlen. Kein Wunder kehrten wir ein zweites Mal Tage später nochmals ein.

Absolutely not recommended! Some of the food is undercooked. Service was OK so far but then when you had finished eating and you were asked if you would like something more to drink and you declined thanks, the boss immediately came with the bill even though you didn't ask for it. In my opinion, absolutely not okay, it seemed like you were being thrown out. Never again !

Me and my girlfriend and boyfriend were just there, my food and my friend's food were gone. My girlfriend's food wasn't quite cooked. When we were finished with the food it was cleared away, shortly afterwards we asked if there was anything left What is allowed to drink was answered with no. It didn't take long before the waiter came and said the numbers together, we didn't want to pay yet, that's not possible. I thought I paid in cash and my girlfriend wanted to pay with a card. They didn't read that it wasn't possible here. Guys, the sound doesn't make the music so good. We definitely won't be coming back.

Das Essen war sehr lecker zubereitet und insbesondere die Gemüse und der Salat waren frisch zubereitet. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und obwohl es ziemlich voll war, ging es relativ schnell. Lediglich ist der Gastraum etwas renovierungsbedürftig, was aber durch die anderen Punkte voll ausgeglichen wird. Man kann es empfehlen

We wanted to reserve a table by phone (8 people) and we were told there would be a lot of free time to come over. When we arrived, we realized that we really came with 8 people and there was no table. Also no effort to arrange anything or offer to wait for a short while. Well then not.

Everything is really right here. Taste, portion size and service. It's a shame that we only visited the restaurant the day before the end of our vacation. Otherwise we would have been there more often.

It works like this... everything is very lightly seasoned in contrast to other Greek restaurants. Don't have to have it a second time.

We go out for Greek food regularly and have a comparison. Here the gyros, suzuki, minced steak and sauce, as well as the homemade coleslaw and tzatziki, taste super delicious. We were there twice in 4 days of vacation. Very nice service, also to my son. Gladly again for the next stay.

I feel at home where Rudi is :) But also excellent cuisine from everyone and even in stressful situations everyone simply knows what is important and right. The only people who may not be able to understand the decisions in stressful situations are people who have no idea about gastronomy :)

Everything just fits here. We brought our 90 year old parents with us. We enjoyed great service, great food. It should be emphasized that everything is made in-house. Nothing off the shelf. Kudos to the East Frisian/Greek waiter. We knew him 98697n already from a previous restaurant. He is very attentive and has the necessary touch.

Essen kam schnell und war schön angerichtet. Das Personal war freundlich und man hat sich pudelwohl gefühlt. Große Auswahl wobei viele Gerichte empfehlenswert sind. Das Gyros war dass beste was ich je gegessen habe!! Und die Räumlichkeiten sehen sehr gut aus und sind Hygienisch

Das Essen hat gut geschmeckt und obwohl viel los war sind wir zügig bedient worden. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist gut. Was etwas störend war: Wir waren zu zweit an einem Tisch für 5 Personen und man hat uns vorgeschrieben, welche Plätze wir benutzen sollen. Außerdem hat sich das Personal über einen unzufriedenen Gast für viele andere Gäste unüberhörbar abfällig unterhalten. Damit sollte man meiner Meinung nach schon professioneller umgehen können.

Das Essen ist sehr gut und immer frisch zubereitet, da wartet man gerne einen Moment länger in gemütlicher Atmosphäre. Sehr nettes und aufmerksames Personal. Die Preise sind absolut in Ordnung. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Tip: besser einen Tisch reservieren, es ist immer gut besucht.

Nachdem wir mehrere Tage lang in Esens nur mittelmäßige Erfahrungen mit der örtlichen Gastronomie gemacht haben, waren wir hier richtig positiv überrascht. Service hervorragend, Essen hervorragend - ein richtig schöner Abend!

Ich war dort am Mittwoch essen und es war sehr gemütlich dort. Das Essen kann ich außerdem sehr empfehlen, total lecker!! Eins der besten Zazikis die ich je gegessen habe! Service zudem auch sehr zuvorkommend und lieb.

Man muss ja froh sein, in Esens noch so ein schmackhaftes Mittagessen zu bekommen wie im Amfipolis. Wir wollten eigentlich im Plietsch essen, doch dort gab es lediglich zum Mittagessen die Riesenauswahl aus "Flammkuchen oder Oma's Kuchen" (das muss man sich in der absoluten Hauptsaison auch mal leisten können als Restaurant). Der Gastgeber war freundlich und interessiert im Amfipolis. Die Speisen traditionelle griechische Leckereien. Der Rosé dazu süffig. Die Preise - im Vergleich zu jenen in Berlin bei uns zu Hause - schon vergleichsweise höher. Aber der Besuch hat sich in jedem Fall gelohnt, die Portionen sind dafür auch gross.

Freundlicher Empfang, wir hatten leckeres, knuspriges und saftiges Gyros mit Pommes anstatt Reis. Krautsalat mit Zaziki und geröstetem Brot gab es vorweg, Ouzo mit der Rechnung. Es war sehr lecker und reichlich. Vielen Dank! Wir kommen wieder.

Leckeres Essen, netter Service.

Ein Lokal rustikal eingerichtet,es sieht alles zum einladen aus.Dazu die freundlich nette Bedienung.Wir haben uns als Mittagessen Gyros mit Pommes dazu Krautsalat mit Zazzikki und Buagettes.Einfach einmalig leckeres krasses,saftiges Fleisch,mildes Krautsalat,Zazzikki mit milder Knoblauchnote.Haben es so noch nie bekommen.Alleine für das Gyros ist das Griechische Restaurant sehr zu empfehlen.

Ein sehr gutes und leckeres Essen, haben mein Tintenfisch auch bekommen (gegrillt) und einfach super.

Waren heute zum ersten mal mit einer Vierer Personen Gruppe hier "spontan" essen. Es war super ! Sehr leckeres , vorallem sehr frisches essen. Wünsche werden beachtet und umgesetzt. Personal sehr freundlich. Lokal sauber und gemütlich. Bester Reis den ich seit Jahren gegessen habe ! Wir kommen wieder!

Hallo, ich war in diesem Restaurant und habe die Gerichte dort gegessen, um ehrlich zu sein, ich habe noch nirgendwo so leckere Gerichte gegessen. Ich empfehle es jedem

Aufgrund einer Empfehlung sind wir mal in dieses Lokal gegangen. Leider muss ich sagen dass es ein Fehler war. Der junge Kellner war nur mit 5 besetzten Tischen maßlos überfordert. Es hat 20 Minuten gebraucht bis wir mal eine Speisekarte bekommen haben. Was auch kein Wunder ist, wenn man mit Dauer gesenktem Blick durch das Restaurant läuft. Essen dann bestellt. Und dies kam dann nach geschlagenen 50 Minuten. Und dazu noch ein falsches Gericht. Zum Essen muss ich sagen, dass mein Bufteki und das Suflaki nicht durch waren und der Reis war kalt. Dies teilte ich auch dem Kellner mit, der verdutzt da stand und nichts dazu sagen konnte. Also uns sehen die nicht wieder. Noch beim durchlesen der Kundenreresionen musste ich mit dem Kopf Schütteln über diese unverschämten Antworten des Betreibers

Wir waren als Urlauber für einen Tag zum Bummeln (lohnt sich) in Esens. Dabei sind wir spontan ins Amfipolis zum Essen eingekehrt. Gleich vorweg, mit Sicherheit NICHT ZUM letzten Mal. Angenehme Atmosphäre, aufmerksames freundliches Personal (da ist die Frage "alles in Ordnung) nicht einfach nur eine Floskel. Die Speisen waren geschmackvoll gewürzt, das Fleisch zart und saftig. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Vielen Dank dafür.

Das Essen schmeckt sehr gut. Die Speisekarte ist überschaubar. Aber für jeden was dabei. Das Restaurant liegt in der Fußgängerzone. Das sollte man wissen.

Das Restaurant war gut besucht, es gab nur noch einen freien Tisch. Wir wurden schon beim Betreten darauf hingewiesen, dass es länger dauern wird. Das Warten hat sich gelohnt, das Essen war sehr lecker und von sehr guter Qualität. Das Personal war freundlich und aufmerksam. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Super Freundliches Personal, sehr gutes essen, Tisch am Wochenende lieber reservieren. Werden auf jeden Fall auch noch ein 3. Mal kommen. Wir haben gebratene aubergine bestellt und Rumpsteak. Sehr lecker. Der einzige Nachteil, man hat nach den großzügigen Vorspeisen kaum noch Hunger.
