It's in the garden area. The environment and periphery is so nice. Outside table space is a small beargarden style. The food was not the best but good. I want to visit there again.

We spontaneously came here as a family today – everything was full. They quickly set up another table in the garden. Although literally every seat (and more) was taken, we experienced exceptionally friendly and courteous service! Always attentive, we always felt seen and appreciated, and the food was absolutely delicious. Thank you so much!

The service is a disaster. If you take too long to order, she gets annoyed and comes to the table three times. The child seat was absolutely filthy and pretty run down. I had to clean it myself after asking for a cloth. Neither cleaning products nor asking would have been nice. All in all, it is suitable for drinking but hardly for eating. A plate of starters for two people (cold) is a joke for almost 20 euros, spread and two pepperoni from a jar. That was the last time I ate there. The beer garden is good, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. The food is OK but not worth a trip with the family; more likely for a quick drink. A shame for this location.

This place caught our eye for the first time a year ago. It was an amazing and unexpected find, with locals making up the majority of the customers and tourists being virtually absent. They serve wonderful Spaten and incredibly delicious food of Greek and German cuisine. Some of the food portions were so big that it was really hard to clean off your plate at times. The owners of the restaurant are very kind and welcoming. I would recommend visiting for dinner in a heartbeat, but I recommend you book a table in advance: all seats are usually full by the time you get there. We loved this place for the first time last year. It was a chance find, a wonderful discovery with locals as visitors and almost a complete absence of tourists. Wonderful Spaten and insanely delicious food in the Greek style. The portions are so big that it is difficult to overwhelm. Very nice and hospitable hosts. I highly recommend this place, but with advance booking

We were probably unlucky again judging by the other reviews, but we had a really poor experience. First, we waited an hour for food with two children aged 7 and 10, and then the gyro was completely burnt and, of course, super dry, and the fries were totally soggy. The cold starters were good, but the warm starter plate was pretty cheeky for the price. The best thing was when I showed the waiter the gyro and fries, he said I was right, he had seen it too. So why was he serving it then?!? Then he threw out an apology and, of course, demanded the full amount. As restaurateurs, they must be so bad off that they charge for things they themselves messed up (which can happen). I would be ashamed of charging the full amount. Apparently, they don't need us as customers. When I asked the waiter why the full amount had been charged, it felt like we were thrown out without a reply... Things can go wrong sometimes, but the restaurant's reaction... It was a really bad day for the whole family, and especially for me, since €80 isn't a small amount of money for me.

Very friendly staff and delicious gyros!

It was absolutely delicious! The entire beer garden was completely packed, and there were even people sitting inside. In this heat! The staff did a fantastic job. Despite the crowd, they were totally professional and very friendly! We felt very comfortable. The appetizers are worth trying! We had florini and fava, delicious! The homemade bread was still warm, and we immediately ordered tzatziki. After that, we had sea bream, summer gyros, and baked calamari – the perfect meal for this hot day. The short wait was completely worth it. The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed, with a small playground and a lawn within sight. The family-friendly atmosphere is also striking. However, you can see that this tavern caters to everyone: from retirees to families, couples, or groups of friends – everyone will find something to enjoy here. Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends and holidays!

Apparently, friendliness wasn't invented here either. Unfortunately, we weren't treated nicely and left.

A nice surprise when in our way to concert on Olimpia stadion we found this place! The food is delicious and the place is very nice! Go and have a meat plate or a goat cheese salad!

My favorite Greek restaurant in Munich. Friendly service, very good food, and, for me, a great location. Slightly hidden away. I also highly recommend sitting outside when the weather's nice. I've been here several times now, both in the evening and at lunch, and I've never been disappointed. It's just difficult to get a table, so don't forget to make a reservation!

Beautifully situated in a garden setting, it offers a pure Greek feel. Cozy in the countryside, and what's more than worth mentioning is the excellent cuisine and great service. After many trips to Greece and eating with Greek friends and in local restaurants, I can only say, "This is authentic cuisine." My 16 guests were and are absolutely thrilled.

Generous portions, very appetizingly presented. Pleasant seating in the garden under a large parasol, behind hedges, under trees. Service was friendly, but a bit overwhelmed ("Yes, yes!" she replied, for example, slightly annoyed, to a refill order for drinks and moved on...) Drinks were pleasantly ice-cold despite the summer heat, which is important to me and not to be expected everywhere! Personally, the "Summer Gyro" was too spicy for me. I'm not used to gyros that fiery, and I suspect the chef might have overdone the chili, paprika, or black pepper 😚 Some people might prefer it just as extremely hot. So, my opinion is subjective! Restrooms clean. All in all, a pleasant evening!

It was a wonderful evening. That day, we stopped in just for a lemonade. When I saw the food at the neighboring tables, I thought, "Vacation!" So I returned that evening, and it was wonderful.

It's a shame there aren't zero stars!! You wait over an hour for the food!!! And it's cold!!! and tasteless! The portion is enough to fill children! The waiter outside was also totally unfriendly. I hope people take this to heart and avoid this place!

Very good food, but we have one criticism, which we've noticed for a while now. Right after the initial order, when you're supposed to order drinks and main courses, it's often difficult to reach the waiter to reorder drinks, etc., which is a shame. Otherwise, highly recommended.

A wonderful restaurant with very good food. You should reserve a table here. We ate here every other day during our eight-day stay in Munich. The baked lamb was particularly delicious.

The portions are relatively large, delicious, and it's recommended that you share a dish between two people. It's great that they provide a box so you can take any excess food home with you. This is good for the environment and for the next day's food. There seems to be a difference: on weekends, the noise level is quite high, making conversation very tiring. This doesn't seem to be the case during the week. Service is good and fast, and they sometimes even offer a shot of schnapps afterward. What I personally found a bit odd is that the menu states that the souvlaki dish comes with three skewers. Two were served without comment, and only when I asked did I get the answer that they were larger, hence only two. I can't say if that's true, as it was my first time eating there. Overall, it was quite nice, but I wouldn't go back again. There isn't any parking directly in front, but it's available with a ticket along the main road within walking distance. If there are events at the Olympic Stadium or Ice Hockey Arena on the same day, it will be difficult to find a suitable spot.

One of the best Greek restaurants in Munich per my humble opinion. On a warm day in the Gartenlaube an aperol or beer is just…*chefs kiss*. I recommend the calamari and the wraps (only available for dinner and to take-away), but everything I’ve tried has been amazing!

A nice and good selection, the dishes are really nicely presented and the portions are okay. I just didn't like the acoustics that much, it's quite loud.

The restaurant is perfectly located in an allotment garden. The price is now rather too expensive. Has developed rather negatively over the years. After a complaint, the statement came: We can't (don't want to) change anything about it because it's financially too expensive to change the situation. It's a shame actually.

In my opinion the best Greek in the city - and I say that under the premise that I stopped eating Greek food some time ago because I was used to a different standard after a long holiday in Greece. However, here you can find authentic Greek cuisine with the hospitality of the Greeks! Of course, not only my friends and I know this, but also many others. Therefore always reserve! In summer it's also possible without it, as there is also space outside. ;)

Seit vielen Jahren gehen wir regelmäßig hier zum Essen. Die Speisen sind hervorragend, das selbstgemachte Gyros immer wieder lecker. Wir sitzen sehr gemütlich und werden hervorragend bedient. Es ist erstaunlich wie gut bei der großen Anzahl von Gästen die Küche, aber vor allem der Service (besonders bei so vielen Leuten im Sommer) klappen. Das muss ein Lokal der Gartenlaube erstmal nachmachen.

We happened to be on the way, actually wanted to look at the Borstei opposite, and found the location in the middle of the allotment garden area very pleasant. Even though we didn't have a reservation and we had a dog, we still managed to get a spot early in the evening on a Sunday. . The grill plate for two people was really tasty, and there was more rather than too little. You can taste the good quality of the meat. Not a fatty gyro, but well seasoned and lean. Tender skewered meat, fresh salad to dress yourself (we liked it with the fine olive oil and vinegar from Crete on the table). 1a minced beef for the bifteki. Plus a loose Greek mountain of tea because we were a bit cold. The ambience is simple and appropriate for a tavern in an allotment. Our dog even got a sample bite from the chef in the kitchen. Something like that always makes a good impression. And of course we were also well served. We'll definitely come back in the summer.👍🏻☺️

My favorite Greek, I have known the employees and the boss for over 15 years because I have an allotment there. I always enjoy coming by because you are warmly welcomed and immediately feel like “part” of the Greek family! Sometimes you have to wait a little longer in the evening because there is a lot going on. But it's worth waiting every time because the food is always great.

Cold and warm starter plates very good, gyros a bit cold, but tasted A1, side dishes plentiful and very tasty. Service was very accommodating and friendly, espresso and a bottle of Ouzo Plomari were included on the house. The ambience doesn't really suit a Greek, but it's still nice and well maintained.

We held our company Christmas party here. There were almost 70 people. Everyone praised the location and the service. The food was very well received, especially the starter plates and the dessert plates. The main courses were a bit too rich.

I was there on Friday evening, very well attended, so the waiting time was a little longer. The restaurant is located in the middle of a garden colony. Easily accessible by public transport. Price/performance OK. Food tasty and plentiful. Gyros with calamari recommended. Drinks well chilled. Guest room and toilets clean.

Everything OK. I'm a bit restricted as I need gluten free, I had a salad. The plate for 2 could have been a little larger, my friends then ordered fries. Everyone enjoyed it.

Somehow we got the wrong day, the waitress wasn't on task, I ordered a Russian and got a light wheat beer, we ordered a grill plate for two people, we got the one for one person (the second one was then Delivered later at some point) It's completely OK that the salad is served without dressing... only here again the waitress neglected to provide us with vinegar, oil, salt and pepper at the table, which we then begged for ourselves at the neighboring table. The only thing the waitress did right was my friend's shandy. The meat was very good, except for the skewer, the meat was quite tough. The fries were quite soggy and not salted. Based on the other good reviews, I would give the tavern another chance... but if possible not this service again.

Every time we are in Munich (1-2x a year) we visit this tavern. The food is great, for me as a vegetarian there was always enough choice (including the daily specials) and the seating is simply wonderful! We'll be back on Friday and are looking forward to it! Γεια σας!

Un lugar maravilloso situado en medio de jardines locales y rodeado completamente de flores y vegetación. El personal era hospitalario, y nos encontraron una mesa, a pesar de que el lugar estaba lleno de lugareños. El plato que pedí, sepia a la parrilla, estaba tan fresco y bien hecho que permaneció suave a pesar de haber sido asado. El tamaño de la porción es grande, como en todas partes en Baviera. Todo es sabroso y todo el mundo es muy acogedor de los clientes. Sin duda recomendaría visitar. Дуже гостинні господарі, які змогли знайти нам столик, не зважаючи на переповнеий заклад місцевими мешканцями. Кальмари на грилі, яких я замовляла, були настільки свіжі і так вдало приготовані, що залишалися дуже мʼякими, не зважаючи на гриль. Порції великі, як всюди, мабуть, у Баварії.
