I was there on Friday evening, very well attended, so the waiting time was a little longer. The restaurant is located in the middle of a garden colony. Easily accessible by public transport. Price/performance OK. Food tasty and plentiful. Gyros with calamari recommended. Drinks well chilled. Guest room and toilets clean.

Everything OK. I'm a bit restricted as I need gluten free, I had a salad. The plate for 2 could have been a little larger, my friends then ordered fries. Everyone enjoyed it.

Somehow we got the wrong day, the waitress wasn't on task, I ordered a Russian and got a light wheat beer, we ordered a grill plate for two people, we got the one for one person (the second one was then Delivered later at some point) It's completely OK that the salad is served without dressing... only here again the waitress neglected to provide us with vinegar, oil, salt and pepper at the table, which we then begged for ourselves at the neighboring table. The only thing the waitress did right was my friend's shandy. The meat was very good, except for the skewer, the meat was quite tough. The fries were quite soggy and not salted. Based on the other good reviews, I would give the tavern another chance... but if possible not this service again.

Every time we are in Munich (1-2x a year) we visit this tavern. The food is great, for me as a vegetarian there was always enough choice (including the daily specials) and the seating is simply wonderful! We'll be back on Friday and are looking forward to it! Γεια σας!

Been there twice, the food was always delicious and the service was very good. The sandpit with toys etc. is of course great for the kids. Reservations are recommended on days with good weather. We'd love to come back!

A wonderful place located amidst local gardens and surrounded completely with flowers and greenery. The staff was hospitable, and they found us a table, even though the place was chock-full of locals. The dish I ordered, grilled cuttlefish, was so fresh and well-made that it remained soft despite having been grilled. The portion size is big, as it is everywhere else in Bavaria. Everything is tasty and everybody is very welcoming of customers. Would definitely recommend to visit. Дуже гостинні господарі, які змогли знайти нам столик, не зважаючи на переповнений заклад місцевими мешканцями. Кальмари на грилі, яких я замовляла, були настільки свіжі і так вдало приготовані, що залишалися дуже мʼякими, не зважаючи на гриль. Порції великі, як всюди, мабуть, у Баварії. I've eaten there many times and have always been very satisfied. But unfortunately our visit today was very disappointing. Not a kind word, not a smile - from start to finish. We felt like we weren't welcome. Maybe because we had two small children with us? We sat outside even though the weather was mixed. When it started to rain, no one helped us move the plates to a dry place. Nobody asked if it fit or if we were okay. No high chair offered for the children...nothing...Greek hospitality looks different (and we know it differently). They won't see us again any time soon, but they probably don't want to.

After a tip from the best bar manager at Macherei Munich, we visited the restaurant before the Taylor Swift concert. Actually an insider tip in an allotment garden, we felt really comfortable. Very fast service, excellent food, in my opinion the quality of the gyros is at a premium level!!! Thank you for the extremely successful stay!!!

Cozy restaurant with a cozy garden in the middle of a colony of arbors! We were able to get the last free table because the entire outside area was full! Nevertheless, the service was friendly and had everything under control! When ordering, she pointed out to us that the meal would take a little longer because of the many guests...really fair! The food was very good and plentiful and came quicker than expected!....gladly again!

Wonderful food as always, greek food rocks… very bad service, mood and energy of staff hence bad review. Answer the reply(dont know how to reply ) As I am asked by owner what went not right with service. I do not feel comfortable to mention precisely what went wrong, but i would add few general things: 1.service must be always welcoming the guests(customers). 2. They should not be treating one guest differently than others. 3. Customers shall not bring baby chair by themselves from a long distance, or at-least be considerate smile and show the way where to find what? 4. I read comments here, many customers mentioned same , service isn't good, and I am not complaining about they took 30 mins or more to bring food ( which actually happened) , as its trivial for me. Remember : service is most important part, probably not in Germany( may be i am wrong). Service providers take orders and bring food and drinks, they carry energy and if it is negative then food even which is super tasty and healthy will become toxic and non tasty.. all service has to do is treat all equal, smile, coordinate, don't leave customers alone, look at them, guide them when they are with elders/kids..

My favorite Greek restaurant for years. The food is always very good. Unfortunately, the quality of the gyros alone has deteriorated and the last few times were too mixed for my taste.

I can't understand why this Greek tavern with the beautiful garden is still an insider tip. The food is super tasty, fresh and plentiful. The price-performance ratio is perfectly fine. The service was quick, very nice and brought my wife and I 2 double ouzos on the house after our meal. For dinner we had grilled chicken skewers with tzatziki, fries and salad, vegetable stir-fry and garlic pita. Plus 2 well-chilled specials. Everything tasted really good and we weren't hungry anymore after the large portions. We will definitely come back. The menu is large and has something to offer for everyone. Excellent!

Hugely delicious, as always! The best Greek restaurant! The tzatziki to put in and the pita doesn't skimp on garlic. Mmmh... Despite the high number of visitors, the staff are always friendly.

I ordered gyros with pita and received a baguette. It was a takeaway order and only when I got home did I find out what I had received. The meat was quite dry and I didn't get much tzatziki for this dish.

Worst service ever. They make you feel bad after waiting 1 hour with two hungry kids because they are busy and stressed.

My favorite Greek restaurant in Munich. Nice service, very good food and for me a great location. Easily hidden also an absolute recommendation for sitting outside when the weather is nice. I've been here several times in the evening and at lunchtime and have never been disappointed. It's just difficult to get a table, so don't forget to reserve!

Located in an allotment garden, everything looks very new. Service took quite a long time, and I was first brought the wrong wine - sorry to say was a non-starter. Food was delicious.

The food was excellent at moderate prices, and the location in the midst of gardens with a view of greenery and flowers is beautiful and unique. The service was superb - a kind waiter who does his best to find a place for you if you can spare ten minutes waiting. We would definitely come again!

Dieses Mal hatten wir Glück und fanden ohne Reservierung am Sonntag Nachmittag einen Platz. Wie bereits seit Jahren sehr gute Speisen. Großer Vorspeisenteller für eine Person, welche aber locker für 2 Personen reicht. Tolle Calamari und frische Salate. Die Bedienung ist freundlich und trotz Massenandrang fix unterwegs. Negativ machen sich die erhöhten Preise für Getränke bemerkbar. Und daß ein halber Liter Weisswein mehr kostet als wenn man die selbe Menge als Glas bestellt!

Cozy Greek tavern in the allotment garden at the Westfriedhof. Service was very friendly even in the largest store. The food was good, especially the appetizer platter. The main courses were a bit lacking in side dishes. (Choice between salad, rice, fries etc.). If you chose the salad, you would have had to pay extra for any additional side dishes. Unfortunately, due to the undressed salad, the main course (gyros) seemed a bit dry. There was vinegar and oil on the table, but a ready-made salad with house dressing would have been better.

Always very good, but unfortunately too full, you have to be very lucky or make a reservation.

The food was amazing. Loved the Gyros with Tzatziki! It was enough food for 2 of us. Reminded me of my time in Greece, was authentic Greek food. Added bonus is the amazing play area for kids. My son and his friend had the best time!

We have known the tavern for over 20 years. In the second generation, the children of the former owners have brought a great breath of fresh air into the ambience and the dishes. Very good food with great service.

Here you can get really decent Greek cuisine at a reasonable price. No matter whether indoors or outdoors, you can sit very comfortably. The service is quick and the Hausbrandt coffee is the “icing on the cake” Will definitely come back soon The octopus and the calamres were special

Stopped in for lunch. I had a hankering for some schnitzel. Everything was perfect. Lightly breaded, crispy, and the chicken was tender. The service was great, the waitress was friendly and helpful. Can't wait to hang out in the biergarten once the weather gets nicer.

Very cozy and nice place, staff very good and welcoming and respectful, the food tastes really good too, especially the gyros which was really good, the prices are right, so are the portions. Overall it was a good experience, I would definitely recommend it again.

Never had Greek food so good - outside of Greece ;-). The chicken with lemon sauce and the beef with kitharakia are highly recommended. The portions are large. It would have been better not to order an appetizer ;-) Nice atmosphere. Friendly service after I started ordering in Greek ;-). It was full and we were lucky to get a table at 5:30 p.m. It makes sense to make a reservation on the weekend :-)

Hervorragende Küche schmeckt Gig

Von außen sieht man nicht das es sich um ein rustikales griechisches Restaurant inmitten von Schrebergärten handelt, ganz in der Nähe vom Westfriedhof. Parkplätze sind viele vorhanden. Sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienungen. Die Speisen sind ein absolutes Highlight, da isst das Auge komplett mit. Wir sind gerne in unserem 2. Wohnzimmer. Auch km Sommer sitzen wir gerne draußen im Biergarten. Hoffentlich bis bald im neuen Jahr.

Grieche im Herzen des Schrebergarten am Westfr7edhof in München. Wir waren vor Corona hier oft von der Arbeit aus zum Mittags Menü. Als wir nach Corona erneut da waren mussten wir leider feststellen, dass sowohl der Service nachgelassen hat, als auch dass der Grieche um einiges teurer geworden ist. Es gab auch keinen Ouzo mehr zur Begrüssung oder Abschied. Die Qualität des Essens war ok.

Netter Grieche mit schönem Biergarten in einer Schrebergartenkolonie. Urig, wenn auch recht voll. Trotzdem ein Besuch wert.

Schönes Lokal. Waren auf Weihnachtsfeier. Essen sehr gut.

Leckeres Essen, wenn auch nicht ganz günstig. Im Sommer mit schöner Terrasse. Das Ambiente ist nicht mein Fall, es gibt Tische die sind direkt vor der Eingangstür (vor allem im Winter nicht schön) oder vor der Toilettentür. Da könnte man mit der Raum- und Tischaufteilung sowie Raumtrennern viel mehr draus machen. Würde aber, je nach Sitzplatz, wieder dort essen.

Gutes Essen und freundliches Personal. Das Ambiente ist nicht richtig griechisch aber das ist nicht schlimm den die Stimmung ist auf jeden Fall griechisch.

Nette Lokalität, bei schlechtem Wetter drinnen genauso, wie im Biergarten bei schönem Wetter. Essen sehr lecker, preislich ok, netter Service. Wir gehen schon seit vielen Jahren immer wieder dorthin zum Essen.

Eigentlich unser Lieblingsgrieche, schönes Ambiente, gutes griechisches Essen. Besonders lecker sind die Keftedakia! ABER: der Service und die Freundlichkeit sind nicht die Stärke dieser Gaststätte. Bei unserem letzten Besuch wurden wir ignoriert, nicht beachtet, nicht begrüßt und alle Antworten kamen pampig und schnippisch. Sehr schade, da wir das Essen und die Küche wirklich schätzen und seit vielen Jahren herkommen.

Auf Shopping-Tour mit Abstecher in diese Taverne. Tolle Speise und Getränkekarte. Essen und Getränke frisch und gut. Freundlicher und zuvorkommender Service. Schönes Ambiente.

Eine Taverne wie im Urlaub! Was für eine coole Idee: Taverne in einer Laubensiedlung... Tolles Essen wie in Hellas, Gyros mal nicht mit schnöden Pommes sondern mit Ofengemüse. Super frisch und lecker. Und dazu diese Atmosphäre mitten in der Stadt! Klasse, danke an das nette sympathische Personal
