Wir sind immer wieder begeistert von der leckeren griechischen Küche, das Ambiente und die familiere Atmosphäre. Natürlich kommen wir wieder.

Wer ein Stück Urlaub haben will hier ist es. Mezedes, Hauptspeisen, Dessert. Ouso, Wein oder Bier. Service ist perfekt. Kosma und Toli leisten tolle Arbeit. Gibt es sogar ein mal im Monat live Musik. Toll!

Sehr gemütlich, tolle Athmosphäre, super gutes Essen und eine erstklassige Bedienung. Wirklich ein Geheimtipp für Griechenland-Fans im Großraum Köln.

Wir waren auf der Rückreise von Paris und sind in diesem Restaurant eingekehrt. Das Essen war wirklich sehr lecker, besonders die Pommes, die frisch aus Kartoffeln zubereitet wurden. Die Portionsgrößen waren großzügig, sodass alle satt geworden sind. Der Service war hervorragend: sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Auch die Wartezeit war angenehm kurz. Insgesamt eine rundum positive Erfahrung!

Souvlaki war leider trocken und zäh. Gyros war zu salzig. Taramas hat nach nichts geschmeckt. Portionen auch sehr klein. Pommes waren lecker. Oktopus auch aber war halt nur ein kleiner Tentakel. Der Service war gut.

Was für ein schönes und überraschendes Kleinod in unserem beschaulichen Kerpen. Da bin ich jahrelang auf der Suche nach authentischer griechischer Küche und finde es direkt vor der Haustür. Hier gibt es kein Gyros oder Pommes sondern vielfältige, kalte und warme Vorspeisen und in unserem Fall ausgezeichnete Lammkeule und einen abwechslungsreichen Fischteller. Der Ouzo aufs Haus durfte natürlich auch nicht fehlen. Dazu ein superfreundlicher Service und ein sehr faires Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Das war wie ein kleiner Urlaub. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder ❤️

Geheimtipp! Gasthaus, das diesen Namen wirklich verdient. Wir hatten das Gefühl bei der Familie zuhause mit am Tisch zu sitzen. Das das Essen außergewöhnlich gut war brauche ich nicht zu erwähnen. Keine Knoblauchbombe sondern guter Geschmack.

Ein echter Geheimtipp! Wir waren zum ersten Mal hier und sind absolut begeistert! Das Essen war hervorragend und die Gastfreundlichkeit außergewöhnlich herzlich. Schon beim Ankommen wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen und haben uns direkt wohlgefühlt – eine Atmosphäre, in der man gerne den Abend verbringt. Zu Beginn gab es einen liebevoll angerichteten Gruß aus der Küche mit hausgemachtem Brot und einem veganen Dip – ein gelungener Start. Da ich mich vegan ernähre, habe ich mich für die vegane Hauptspeise entschieden. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist die große Aufmerksamkeit gegenüber individuellen Wünschen: Mir wurde sehr freundlich eine köstliche Zusammenstellung aus mehreren veganen Vorspeisen angeboten, die nicht nur kreativ, sondern auch geschmacklich absolut überzeugend war! Jedes einzelne Gericht war mit viel Liebe zum Detail zubereitet und geschmacklich hervorragend abgestimmt. Das Essen war so unfassbar lecker, dass wirklich bis auf den letzten Krümel alles aufgegessen wurde. Auch der Service war durchgehend aufmerksam und freundlich. Ein rundum gelungener Besuch! Wir werden definitiv wieder kommen. Absolut zu empfehlen!

Wir waren gestern spontan auf der Heimfahrt hier und sind auch ohne Reservierung hervorragend bedient worden. Sehr leckere Gerichte und ein sehr sympathischer Gastgeber. Schade, dass wir so weit entfernt wohnen, sonst kämen wir bestimmt häufiger!

Die griechischen Spezialitäten schmecken richtig authentisch, fast so, als wäre man im Urlaub in Griechenland. Auch der Service war top! Sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und herzlich, man fühlt sich direkt willkommen. Das Team kümmert sich wirklich toll um seine Gäste. Das Ambiente rundet das Ganze perfekt ab. Die Taverne ist gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet, mit einer richtigen griechischen Atmosphäre, ideal für einen entspannten Abend mit Familie oder Freunden. Das Ambiente und die Herzlichkeit sorgen dafür, dass man den Alltag komplett vergisst. Man geht rein, genießt das tolle Essen und kommt raus mit dem Gefühl, gerade im Urlaub gewesen zu sein. Absolute Empfehlung für alle, die wahre griechische Gastfreundschaft suchen!"

Köstliche und authentische griechische Küche. Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal dort essen und waren wirklich begeistert.

Heute vor Ort gegessen! Geht gar nicht, nicht für 18 Euro. Fleisch trocken, niemals 300 gramm, Pommes Knüppelhart, krautsalat von Aldi oder einem anderen Discounter. Geld nicht zurück bekommen. Dann diese arroganz der Mitarbeiter, also das Essen ist immer gut bei uns. Nein, das ist es eben nicht. Ich nehme mir das Recht raus zu behaupten, es ist Betrug am Kunden und absolut Wucher. Kann leider kein Bilder einsetzen!!!

Es empfiehlt sich auch in der Woche zu reservieren. Das Essen ist fantastisch frisch, wird auch wirklich frisch für jeden zubereitet. (Eine wirkliche Ausnahme wie ich weiß.) Tische werden völlig selbstverständlich zusammen geschoben wenn mehr als 2 Gäste eintreffen. Am Wochenende gibt es oft live Musik. So klein das Lokal ist, es herrscht eine wirklich familiäre Stimmung, obwohl die Familie wirklich nur am Rennen ist um jeden Gast schnellstmöglich zu bedienen. Frühstück und Mittagessen gibt es jetzt auch. Ausser Haus Lieferung ist genauso möglich wie Abholung! Meine persönliche Empfehlung: genug Hunger mit bringen und weite Hosen/Röcke anziehen. Meine persönliche Bitte: Bleibt uns noch mindestens 100 Jahre erhalten!

Leckeres Essen. Toller Service. Allerdings dauert alles etwas länger. Eben genau so, wie man es vom Urlaub in Griechenland kennt. Nicht so ein 0815 Grieche mit Gyros, Tzatziki, Pommes o.ä., sondern authentische griechische Küche. Die Speisekarte ist eher eine "wäre möglich". Abwandlungen und Ergänzungen sind ganz normal. Wer etwas möchte, was nicht auf der Karte steht, sollte es anfragen.

Wir waren gestern zum ersten Mal zu Besuch und haben den Abend in vollen Zügen genossen. Sehr aufmerksamer Service, der sich auch mal Zeit nimmt für ein kurzes Schwätzchen mit dem Gast. Dazu eine abwechslungsreiche Karte jenseits vom griechischen Imbiss, die keine Wünsche offen lässt. Wir hatten trotzdem eher klassisch ein Moussaka und eine Grillplatte und waren beide restlos begeistert. Beim nächsten Mal trauen wir uns bestimmt auch an die vielen Meze ran.

Wir waren gestern Abend hier und haben uns von der ersten Sekunde an unglaublich wohl gefühlt. Die Gastfreundschaft ist herzlich und das Ambiente sehr einladend. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns das Essen: Obwohl wir sehr häufig in Griechenland Urlaub machen, haben wir hier Speisen genossen, die wir in dieser Form und Qualität bisher noch nie gegessen haben. Wer die typische 'Maxi Akropolis Platte' oder 'Gyros überbacken' sucht, wird hier (glücklicherweise!) nicht fündig. Stattdessen gibt es echte, authentische Küche, die zeigt, wie vielfältig die griechische Gastronomie wirklich ist. Ein absolutes Muss für Genießer! Wir kommen wieder. Lecker essen, ging schnell, preis gut. Die Portion war etwas klein für ein 18€ Gericht, wobei man dazu sagen muss, dass ich auch gerne große Portionen esse.

Die Vorspeisen waren spitze und vor allem nicht 0815, sondern man merkt als Gast sofort, dass man sich hier Mühe gibt. Das Gyros und die Souvlaki als Hauptspeise waren schön gegrill und hatten das typische Holzkohlearoma. Der Wirt war auch sehr herzlich und hat uns nach dem Essen gut beraten, was den Absacker anging...nicht einfach nur der klassische Ouzo, sondern roter Ouzo und andere griechische Spezialitäten. Den Nachtisch sollte man auch unbedingt mal probieren. Vielen Dank, kommen gerne wieder.😊

Authentic Greek cuisine! We had a wonderful evening in a cozy atmosphere. The food was delicious, freshly prepared, and made with attention to detail. A glass of Greek wine with the meze was simply perfect!

What a great place!! The atmosphere was very relaxed and reminiscent of a charming village taverna. The staff was very attentive and happy to engage in pleasant conversation. The food was excellent, and the owner was incredibly obliging, always appearing at our table at the perfect moment without saying a word. All in all, it's a wonderful place that we highly recommend.

I can only give five stars, everything is perfect here: delicious food, good value for money, and very friendly, attentive service – top-notch!

Here, you can leave feeling relaxed. There's no rush. Five people enjoyed delicious delicacies for about four hours, and we didn't feel like we had to wait too long for anything because the atmosphere here is truly relaxing. Our dog was also very welcome.

A very cozy restaurant in the heart of Horrem. The service is truly attentive. We've eaten there several times and have always left satisfied. Highly recommended!

Today we visited this shop with two more friends, my friends from Düsseldorf and us from Krefeld, a distance of 72 kilometers, even if it were that much it would be worth going back, whatever I say is an understatement. The welcome, the service, the food, everything was excellent and delicious, what stayed with us beyond the taste that reminded us of Greece was at the end or polite question (Let's bring something sweet), I had to hear from Greece, thank you for everything and we will be happy to visit you again sometime.

I visited Filaraki-Mou for the first time today. The name of the tavern means something like "friend" or "buddy." The decor is simple but functional, and you feel like you're in Greece. There were three of us there and we shared many small dishes, which is very common in Greek cuisine. The food was very authentic and delicious. The price-performance ratio is really fair and affordable. The staff is very friendly. All in all, a very successful and enjoyable evening with delicious food.

Refreshingly different from the usual Greek restaurants in Germany. Both the ambiance and the menu. It reminds me a lot of the tavernas outside the tourist centers in Greece that I visited on my many holidays there in the 1980s. The only thing I missed (not really) was the "peering into the kitchen." The food is good. The prices are moderate. However, a "normal" eater will have to order an appetizer, or even several appetizers, with their main course. Of course, the price adds up. The staff is friendly, fast, and attentive. A highly recommended restaurant.

We had a very good meal. The staff were very friendly, but the service could be improved. Wait times for the menu and drinks were very long, even after the restaurant had emptied. We'll go back anyway.

You can hardly get better Greek food in Germany than here! A huge selection, including fish dishes, excellent service, and everything fresh. Considering the quality, the prices are also perfectly reasonable. We felt completely at home – it was even worth the trip from Cologne!

The friendliness was striking right from the phone when we made our reservation, and it continued when we entered the restaurant. They accompanied us throughout the evening, and we were greeted with a friendly farewell. We ordered almost all of the warm appetizers and enjoyed them; they were delicious. Today at Filraki mou, I heard the band Vermillion Blue – the singer has excellent control over her voice. The band is very talented. They mostly played their own compositions. The food was fantastic. Both are highly recommended! We'd be happy to go again anytime!

The food was so delicious, served with great care, delicious wines, and Greek music in the background made for an unforgettable experience… like being on vacation. Wer hier nicht zufrieden ist, hat keine Ahnung vom Essen. Gyros kann man in der Pommesbude essen . Hier gibt es gute griechische Küche und man hat schon beim Betreten des arest Restaurants das Gefühl Deutschland zu verlassen. Wie 🤩 schön

Authentische griechische Küche konnte ich hier nicht erkennen. Gyros nach Art des Hauses war pulled Pork,gekocht und nicht gegrillt!?Skordalia war eine klebrige braune Masse,die aussah,als ob sie schon einmal gegessen war.Gemüse war verbrannt und schwamm im Fett.Die Sauberkeit ließ stark zu wünschen übrig. Spinnweben an den Lampen,Getränkespuren an den Wänden, und das WC besucht man am besten auch nicht.

Wir gehen immer wieder gerne hier hin, der Besitzer ist mega sympathisch. Ein Tagesgericht ist meistens unsere Wahl. Dieses mal hatten wir uns für das hausgemachte Gyros mit hausgemachten Pommes entschieden und guckten erst mal überrascht als eher Pulled Pork auf unserem Tellern war, aber es war wie immer so unglaublich lecker. mein Partner hätte am liebsten noch eine Portion bestellt. Als Vorspeise den Feta im Bierteig mit Thymianhonig und die spitzPaprika. Und zum Nachtisch einen gemischten Teller mit Grieß/Nuss Gebäck und Joghurt. Wir waren letztes Jahr erst in Kreta gewesen und kein griechisches Restaurant das wir bis jetzt besucht haben kam so traditionell an die Küche ran die wir im Urlaub hatten wie dieses. Klare Empfehlung, wir kommen auf jeden fall immer wieder gerne.

A small, traditional “tavern”. Anyone expecting typical Germanized Greek food will be disappointed. Instead, there are wonderfully tasty, genuine Greek creations here. Simply recommended.

Great ambience, delicious food, nice service. The tavern is a little out of the way and if you don't know it's there, it's easy to miss it. You're all the more amazed when you put your foot in it for the first time. We have eaten at Filaraki-Mou several times now and have always felt like we were in good hands. Since everything is freshly prepared, you can respond flexibly to intolerances etc. The service staff is knowledgeable and happy to provide information. In addition to many meat and especially fish dishes, there is also a lot of vegetarian and vegan food on the menu. They love what they do; You can see it, taste it and feel it. The bread that is served at the beginning is of course homemade; and here and there sentences like “We now make our own yoghurt” come up. I wasn't sure in advance whether my children (3 and 5) would accept the food, but they tried a lot, were full and got through the evening well even without fries etc. I am very happy that they chose Horrem as their location. Two thumbs up from me!

A stay at the Greek tavern Filarakis in Horrem is like a short trip to Greece. The atmosphere is cozy, everything has been lovingly furnished and largely handcrafted. In summer you can sit on the terrace, which reinforces the impression of being on holiday in the south (if the Rhine-Erft climate cooperates). Everything here comes noticeably from the heart. And you also notice that in the service - for example when the chef and boss personally ask whether you enjoyed your meal and they let you know that they are happy about your visit and that they really care about the guest's physical well-being. I try a different dish every time and all of them have been delicious so far. Regardless of whether it is classic, typical Greek or in an original interpretation. No matter whether fish or meat or vegetarian. Vegan dishes are also sometimes conjured up, if I understand correctly. By the way, I am also impressed by the fine selection of Greek wines.
