Small Greek restaurant in Horrem with an outdoor area. Simply and comfortably furnished. The size of the grill plate was generous and delicious, but unfortunately the meatball was still a bit raw on the inside. Finally there was an ouzo on the house. All in all nice.

I am often in this special place. In this tavern that makes you forget that you are not in Greece. A place with excellent food that tastes like you're sitting in a small Greek village right by the sea. Everything tastes fresh and every dish has a little something special. We went karting in Kerpen and searched on Google for a Greek place that was open. This was shown to us with 4.8 stars and good reviews! Now I have to say I eat a lot at Greek restaurants when I'm out and about, but unfortunately the taste was absolutely nothing. Unfortunately neither the salad nor the main course. The waitress tried very hard and didn't charge us for part of it. But that has absolutely nothing to do with being Greek.

Delicious food, honestly one of the best greek restaurant I have ever been to! And the service is impeccable, they are so nice, and the little terrace is really cute. Totally recommend you won’t be disappointed! 😊

Possibly the best dining experience I ever had. Went there with my partner for dinner. The service was incredible, what we assume was the owner, was walking around chatting to people taking a genuine interest in how the food was and really adding to the experience. It started thundering during our meal and we were promptly asked if we wanted to move inside, however when we decided to stay outside it wasn't a problem at all for the team. The food was brought out promptly and tasted phenomenal, we especially enjoyed the zucchini and aubergine starter and the calamari. Nevertheless everything was extremely fresh and tasted incredible! Also to note, complementary garlic bread and ouzo were given. We left the place with a buzz and will be going back whenever we have the chance, can't recommend enough! 10/10!!!

We had a lovely day at the lake today and drove through Horrem in the evening hoping to find a nice restaurant to end the evening with. That's when we came across this place and the service and the food stood out. Please definitely try it.

A great change from the other Greek restaurants in the area and absolutely recommended! The food tastes really delicious and the Mezede concept is great for trying out different dishes, as it is difficult to decide on just one. The owner also gave us very nice advice when putting it together (how much, what size, etc.). The atmosphere (furnishings, lights, music) is authentic and cozy. We liked staying there. The owner and his employees were always attentive. We never had to wait long to be served or order something. In terms of price, I also think it's completely okay and not overpriced. Everything within the framework. There are enough parking spaces available in the Park & ​​Ride car park nearby. As far as I know, there is no parking lot associated with the restaurant. However, I find it unsuitable for vegetarians as the main courses are mostly meat or fish. Perhaps the offer can be adjusted in this regard. We had something to eat at the Filarakimou tavern on a Sunday without prior reservation. The ambience is nice and the terrace invites you to sit outside on a nice summer day. The service is also very nice, so we felt comfortable. The starters are only recommended in the tavern. We decided on two starters each. Both tasted really good. Personally, I can only recommend the mousaka. Some people may think that two starters aren't much, but we were well full afterward👍. For dessert we ordered a delicious semolina dessert. Overall, a good tip for a delicious meal in a cozy atmosphere. I'm looking forward to coming back.

Sorry. . I went to the restaurant because of the mostly positive reviews. That was the biggest mistake ever because I have NEVER eaten so badly. Not only visually unreasonable, but also inappropriate in terms of taste. In addition, the food was cold. I won't be entering this restaurant again.

Were there for the first time - and immediately loved it. The mezedes are really great, we simply ordered a large selection and shared everything - there wasn't a crumb left, everything was super tasty and totally authentic. Desserts are also absolutely top class - if you don't dare, I recommend the mixed dessert plate, an absolute culinary delight after the big culinary feast. Staff very friendly and service super fast, no wish remained unfulfilled here. The ambience is really Greek, anyone who wants to extend their last Greek vacation for an evening will immediately get wanderlust here. I always enjoy coming back, here you get authentic Greek food in a rustic atmosphere. And: you can also eat vegan or vegetarian here, with full flavor.

We ate here on a Friday because of the good reviews and unfortunately had one of the worst meals ever. The mixed warm starter plate for 2 was no revelation, everything was warmed up, nothing was freshly prepared and the bread with the paste beforehand unfortunately tasted of nothing. The calamari as the main course was breaded and simply fried, the Taramar tasted nothing like fish roe, just like an unseasoned potato dip. Then we had moussaka and bifetki as meze. That was really an imposition. The bifteki was not fresh from the grill, but simply warmed up and therefore rock hard and completely dry. The salad was completely soggy, as if it had been prepared hours ago, and there wasn't a single crisp lettuce leaf in it! The moussaka only consisted of bechamel, mashed potatoes, you had to look for the minced meat. It was all just warmed up and tasted like it had been cooked at the beginning of the week and then put in the microwave. This also explains why the main courses were served 10 minutes after ordering. The taste wasn't a highlight either. It's shocking that a chef would dare serve something like that to paying guests. The only positive thing is the nice staff, but the quality of the food is really a disgrace.

Sorry, but I've actually never eaten so badly. I had gyros with thyme potatoes from the daily menu (table). The potatoes weren't even lukewarm and the gyro was more like pulled pork seasoned with way too much cumin. Not only did it look like it had already been eaten, but what was on the plate had nothing to do with gyros. Once and never again. Not recommendable!!

I'm Greek myself and it's hard for me to find non-Germanized Greek cuisine in Cologne, but the food at Filaraki mou is the most authentic I've found in Cologne. Sometimes the tavern is full and service takes longer, but it's worth the wait. The prices are fair and the staff is friendly. Again and again!

Yesterday we happened to end up here in the tavern Filaraki - Mou...my son and I wanted to eat Greek in Sindorf. But it was a rest day there and we went looking and ended up in Horrem. We both absolutely loved the food, ambience and service. We would love to come by again.

I don't know what to praise first. As a Greek, I can only say that it tastes like my mom used to make it. It is as authentic as we cook at home, as well seasoned and tasty as in Greece.

Das "Authentische" griechische Essen war nicht immer so wie aus Griechenland gewohnt (es waren auch mehrere Griechen in unserer Gruppe). Manche Speisen waren nur wenig gewürzt, andere dagegen schmeckten zu stark nach Kümmel oder Kräuter. Auch der Service hatte Schwächen so wurde sowohl eine Vor- wie auch eine Hauptspeise vergessen und erst gebracht als die anderen in der Gruppe schon fertig damit waren . Positiv war die griechische Live Musik.

Wunderschöner Abend und ein neues Lieblingsrestaurant! Selten so nette Mitarbeiter im Restaurant erlebt und das Konzept, dass alle Speisen auch als kleine Portion bestellt werden können-Klasse!

Schlichte, aber tadellose Taverne mit begrenzter Speisenvielfalt. Was wir aber feststellen durften war: Bedienung, Qualität der Speisen und Getränke, Freundlichkeit des Personals und das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis machen den Aufenthalt zu einem Erlebnis. Das Filaraki-Mou werden wir noch sehr häufig besuchen! Und wir freuen uns darüber!

Ein sehr besonderes und authentisches Restaurant. Wir haben uns unglaublich wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne schon sehr bald wieder. Tolle (auch vegane) Geschmacks-Kreationen einer kleinen und sehr feinen Speisekarte. Wir wurden mit einem: „Schön, dass Sie da sind“ empfangen. Gedanklich haben wir sofort unseren nächsten Griechenland-Urlaub geplant. So wohl und willkommen fühlt man sich.

Von außen und innen macht die Taverne erstmal einen wenig zu erwartenden Eindruck aber dieser wird direkt nachdem ersten "Gruß aus der Küche" nichtig gemacht. Das Essen ist erstklassig und eben original griechisch. Kein Standard wie Gyros und Pommes, sondern authentische Küche, mit viel Herz und einer gastfreundlichen Bewirtung, wie man es von Griechenland kennt. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Sehr freundliches Personal. Das Essen war von gemischter Qualität: leckere Vorspeisenteller. Mein Hauptgericht war aber höchstenfalls durchschnittlich.

Bisweilen dachte ich, die Atmosphäre einer griechischen Taverne in Deutschland nie finden zu können. Dies hat sich seit dem gestrigen Abend geändert. Ausgerechnet in Kerpen Horrem, hier hätte ich dies als letztes erwartet. Optisch betritt man einen kleinen, einfach gehaltenen Gastraum, der sofort vergessen lässt, wo man herkam. Bei gutem Wetter kann man auch draußen im blau und weiss getünchten Hof sitzen. Kleine typische Tavernenkarte, ergänzt durch eine Tafel mit Tagesgerichten. Schwerpunkt: Grill- und Ofengerichte rund um Lamm, Fisch und Schwein mit Gemüse. das Tolle: alle Gerichte gibt's als kleine Gerichte (Mezze), die dann wie Tapas bestellt und geteilt werden können. So konnten wir uns quer durch die Karte probieren. Dazu gab es Weine (auch BIO) aus Thrakien, die vor Bestellung auch probiert werden konnten! Genial! Der Inhaber war sehr angenehm und extrem serviceorientiert (Lieblingswort: "sehr gene!"), erfüllte uns sogar zum Abschluss unseren Herzenswunsch und machte für uns Lukomades. Mega! Auch der Umgang mit Kritik war gut (Ich hatte angemerkt, dass das kostenlos gereichte Brot sehr fest und trocken war). Er erklärte, dass das Brot selbst gebacken war und von Freitag (2Tage alt) war. Da er keine Zusatzstoffe verwendet, war es dann wohl zu trocken. Er entschuldigte sich höflich und sagte, wir hätten uns direkt melden sollen, dann hätte er nach einer Lösung gesucht). Akzeptiert. Bei der Auswahl an leckeren Speisen und Aromen war das Brot im Nachgang für uns eh überflüssig! Fazit: Wer also ein griechisches Restaurant im klassischen deutschen Stil (Platte Rhodos, Zeus-Teller etc.) sucht, ist hier fehl am Platz. Selten in Deutschland so authentische griechische Küche genießen dürfen. Bin selber Griechin und meist, werden die Gerichte dem hiesigen Gaumen angepasst. Hier nicht. Ob Besitzer, Koch oder Bedienung alle leben das Wort "Gastgeber". Man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Wir werden ganz sicher öfter zu Gast sein. Die Preise sind sehr human.

Auch wir waren begeistert, auch unsere griechische Begleitung, die es wie in der Heimat authentisch fand. Tolles Essen, freundliche Bewirtung und innen fanden wir es auch wie in den Flitterwochen auf Kos.

Tolles Ambiente. Essen und Service perfekt . Sehr zu empfehlen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder . Wer gut essen will ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben. Hin und wieder auch Live Musik. Ein Stück Griechenland in Deutschland. Wer also gerne nach Griechenland fährt für den ist das Lokal ein Muß.

Die Perle von Horrem. Authentische Küche mit herzlicher Gastfreundschaft . Das Essen war von vorne bis zum Schluss ein Urlaubstrip. Frisch und mit einer gewissen einfachen Raffinesse. Fisch unschlagbar und die Beilagen sind auch alle einzeln gut Top . 👍🏻 Muss man probieren: Ambiente im Innenbereich, mit Liebe in jeden Detail, auch der Außenbereich ist gemütlich und lädt zum verweilen ein. Getränke sind gut, auch die Temperatur stimmt. Sogar alkoholfreien Wein gibt es. Lecker Für jeden was dabei. Preise angemessen, den hier steckt viel Handwerk in der Küche dahinter. Mein neuer Urlaubskurztrip für ein paar Stunden.

Soooo lecker! Waren jetzt zum zweiten Mal dort und es wird nicht das letzte Mal gewesen sein. Das Restaurant liegt etwas unscheinbar an der Hauptstraße, doch wenn man rein geht, betritt man eine andere - griechische - Welt. War zwar noch nie in Griechenland, aber für mich fühlt es sich sehr authentisch an. Vorne richtiges Tavernen- Gefühl mit weißen Tischen , karierten Tischdecken, urige Holzdecken. Die Karte ist nicht ausufernd, aber zusammen mit der Tageskarte kann man jede Menge großartige kleine und große Gerichte ausprobieren. Wir waren zu dritt und haben alle unterschiedlich bestellt, mal ein komplettes Tellermenü, aber auch jede Menge kleine Portionen und alles hat geschmeckt. Wer nur Gyros/Pommes erwartet, wird vielleicht überrascht sein. Ich würde sagen, der Schwerpunkt liegt mehr bei Essen wie bei griechischen Muttern. Sehr viele verschiedene Gewürze, Konsistenzen, aber auch viel Gemüse. Dazu noch die herzliche Art der Mitarbeiter und des Chefs, die ehrlich rüber kam. Unser 16 jähriger Sohn war total begeistert und ihm fehlten die Pommes überhaupt nicht 😄 Probiert es aus!

Wir haben einen sehr schönen Abend hier verbracht. Gastfreundschaft wird hier groß geschrieben und man fühlt sich durch die herzliche Art der Inhaber und des Service sehr wohl. Das Essen ist authentisch und sehr, sehr lecker. Hier wird nach Omas Rezepten gekocht. Einfach gut. Vielen Dank
