You immediately feel welcome and exceptionally well cared for. The food, as always, is absolutely superb. Fresh, flavorful, and prepared with great care. No matter which dish you choose, the quality is consistently impressive. A restaurant we can wholeheartedly recommend. We will definitely be back!

My visit to El Greco was a mixed bag. On the positive side, I'd like to highlight the service: the staff was very friendly and attentive, and the food arrived exceptionally quickly – no complaints there. Unfortunately, the food itself was underwhelming. The dishes were only moderately seasoned and generally rather bland, so the typical Mediterranean character didn't really shine through. It was particularly disappointing that parts of my El Greco platter were served lukewarm, which further detracted from the overall experience. In summary, the impression is mixed: those who value fast and friendly service will be satisfied. However, those hoping for flavorful, well-seasoned dishes are likely to be disappointed.

Delicious, fresh food. There are also a few vegetarian options 😋 Friendly staff 👍🏽 A complimentary ouzo is placed on the table without being asked. It would be a good idea to ask beforehand who would like one (e.g., people who are drinking alcohol and not driving).

Good, tasty food, generous portions, decent quality, and a fair price—you can't go wrong here. My only criticism is that the farmer's salad was a bit too oily for my taste, but still tasty, and it took a bit longer for the menu to arrive. But that's a deduction from the B grade. I think it's great that you can put together your own side salad at the buffet, and the house ouzo rounds off a typical Greek evening.

One of the best Greek restaurants in the Rhein-Erft district. Great ambiance, very friendly and attentive staff. Fair prices, generous portions (not huge, but adequate), beautiful plates, and excellent taste. Family-friendly. Unfortunately, there's a bit of a parking shortage. All in all, excellent, highly recommended.

The ambiance was truly inviting, and you felt completely at home from the very beginning. The food was fresh, juicy, and truly delicious—you could tell everything was prepared with love. The waiters were super friendly and attentive, without being intrusive. It was fun, relaxed, and you could even choose where you wanted to sit. All in all, a truly lovely visit—highly recommended!

The restaurant is definitely recommended. The food is delicious, the portions are generous. The staff is super friendly, and the ambiance is very pleasant. Unfortunately, when sitting outside, you have to be aware that you're sitting at an intersection and that you'll occasionally hear some loud traffic noise.

One of the best restaurants in the area.

We went there at short notice after a visit to Phantasialand. We got a table right away and received quick and friendly service. The portions were generous and very, very tasty. Since our favorite Greek restaurant back home suffered fire damage and is closed until further notice, I was happy to have such good Greek food again. The price/performance ratio is also good. All in all, it's worth 5 stars.

A wide selection of dishes, with something for children too. Requests are always catered for. The staff is very friendly and attentive, so you're never left wanting. :-)

Yesterday, four of us went to the restaurant for the first time and unfortunately we weren't that satisfied. We ordered four dishes and pita bread with garlic for starters, but we didn't even get it. Then the main courses arrived after a wait of over 90 minutes and no one came to ask if we wanted a drink. When the main courses arrived, we were told that fries would be served straight away, which wasn't the case right up until the end. We didn't feel like we were in good hands as guests. Others got their food sooner even though they arrived much later, which was very disappointing.

We love coming here because the food is always delicious! The servers are always very friendly! Prices are good and reasonable for the portions. It would be great if maybe one or two of the main courses were vegetarian :)

We came across this restaurant via Google while passing through. We stopped in with three children... All I can say is -MEGA- Super friendly service, even with the children. The food was plentiful and very good! Prompt service. Salad from the buffet. Delicious starters, and the main course was a dream.

We happened to be in the area and were impressed by the service and the food. We will definitely be back.

The El Greco restaurant has quickly become our favorite restaurant: Super tasty food, top quality, large portions and a very attentive and super friendly staff paired with a really nice and cozy atmosphere both inside and outside leave nothing to be desired. Everything is still within reasonable price. At the front of the entrance there is even a small shop with very tasty Greek olive oil and other great things. We'll definitely come by more often! Update: We've been there many times since the first visit and it remains our favorite. Update 2: still our favorite restaurant in 2023. Update 3: It will remain our favorite restaurant in 2024.

We were there today to celebrate our son's communion. Everything was perfect, all guests (20P) were completely at peace! Drinks, food everything came without any problems and a long wait! Everyone enjoyed it and the service really put a lot of effort into it!! Thanks again to everyone!

The best Greek I know! I come from Bonn or Königswinter especially for this! Super delicious, very friendly and accommodating. The staff is on point. Perfect portions. Quality and price are right! Great, now I'm hungry :-) More than recommended, even for larger groups.

Hervorragendes Essen, immer freundliche und aufmerksame Kellner, die uns und unseren beiden Hunden stets einen hervorragend gelegenen Tisch, wo Hunde nicht stören, anboten. Auch wenn dort „ die Hölle los war“, waren alle sehr freundlich und machten, auch wenn wir mal vergaßen zu reservieren, sofort einen Tisch möglich. Es ist unser absolutes Lieblingsrestaurant und wir haben uns bei jedem einzelnen Besuch außergewöhnlich gut aufgehoben gefühlt.

Super freundliche Bedienung und auch der Chef kommt persönlich an den Tisch und hat neben der Begrüßung mit Handschlag ein paar nette Worte. Der Innenraum ist sehr schön eingerichtet, aber es gibt auch einen schönen Außenbereich. Das Essen ist immer sehr lecker und reichhaltig. Salat kann man sich selbst zusammen stellen. Kann man wirklich weiterempfehlen!!

We've been to El Greco several times now and we've always really enjoyed the quick, friendly and attentive service and always having very nice bosses there for a chat. The restaurant is always busy and you should make a reservation. The food is very tasty and rich. There is always an ouzo on the house after and before the meal. We'll be back

Absolutely underground!!! The kitchen was able to trump the service, but in this case that is no art. It could be that in Greece it is customary to assume that the guest has no idea about wine, but one thing I know for sure is that the guest's wife is not treated stupidly, even in Greece! (Greetings to the fat little waiter) You always see each other twice in your life!!! So if you're up for the level of a train station bar, you've come to the right place.

Food: Meat is great, the rest is pretty mediocre. If you're expecting fine dining, you've come to the wrong place. It's simple, home-style food. But this is definitely solid, service is very nice, ambience is very nice, waiting times are super short and prices are fair.

As a rule, I don't like Greek restaurants at all because I often have the feeling that they only serve fast food that is dripping with fat. But I'll definitely come back here because this is really REAL and tasty Greek cuisine with high quality and a great selection of dishes! I ate fish here. I definitely only dare to do that if I have the feeling that everything is 100 percent right!

After several visits I was a bit disappointed this time. The starter and the main course tasted like they were bought ready-made (convenience). Maybe I'm making a mistake, but that was my impression. Homemade never tastes the same as standard. Nevertheless, the service was super friendly and in a good mood (even though it was full). The rooms are very pleasant, apart from the pictures in the toilet.

There are a few parking spaces in front of the restaurant, but since the restaurant is in a residential area, with a bit of luck you can find a parking space on the side streets. The restaurant has an outdoor area and a cozy modern indoor area. I prefer to sit inside as I like the atmosphere there better. There is always an ouzo on the house at the very beginning and with the bill at the end. Where else does that exist these days?! Some dishes come with a salad that you can put together yourself at the buffet. However, sometimes I forego it and treat myself to a delicious starter. The food is all great. My favorite food is Bifteki, a stuffed minced steak with feta. I can highly recommend it. I like to eat half and half with fries and Duvjec rice. I'm always so full afterwards that I've unfortunately never had the chance to try a desert. You should definitely make a reservation here on the weekend.

Friendly, quick service. We were well served! Food was also very good. Gyros a bit dry in places, but the children's meals were great. My wife didn't like pork tenderloin that much. Village plates and mushroom cream schnitzel were well received. Portions are neither too much nor too little. The salad bar is small, but there is something for everything. Price-performance is definitely right! Recommended
