Greek Cuisine in Stuttgart

The only Greek about this restaurant are the menu and the waiters. With menu I mean the names on the card. Nothing is spiced in any way that comes close to Greek food. Unfortunately again a restaurant that gets high reviews because more and more people think they know about food… but don’t even know how to cook their own meal. When you pay buy card, they put the charge of their system as an extra on the bill for you, lying about it by telling you it’s a surcharge from your bank. Feels like lying and cheating, without any respect for their own kitchen! Money rules above all. Honesty… far away in this place. We did complain, we got a Greek tragedy as responds 😂 A missed chance to at least be honest and try to make up… avoid this review….

We had the grill plate for two. We wanted to have fries instead of rice, which unfortunately wasn't possible. The grill plate was large, but also expensive. If you sit outside on the terrace, you are sitting directly in front of a shisha lounge. I found that very uncomfortable. What bothered me the most, however, is that tips are automatically charged. I stated a sum that I wanted to pay (including a 5% tip) and without being informed, a surcharge was charged. I find that outrageous.

The atmosphere is nice and cozy, but unfortunately very cramped. Price-performance is not convincing - quite expensive for what you get. The service was unfriendly and seemed overwhelmed. Parking spaces are rare, but unfortunately that is nothing new in Stuttgart.

We spontaneously had dinner here because of the positive reviews. Relatively early in the evening, so we thought we would get a nice spot for two to end the day nicely. In summer there is an outdoor area and after the narrow entrance area with a bar you come to the first floor. We received a friendly and warm welcome, then we were seated at a table, which was ok at first, until I realized that I was looking at an elevator door and that cleaning materials had obviously been stored here. Unfortunately that was a no go for me, the food arrived before I could say anything, so it happened really quickly. In general, my recommendation would be not to put a table here, it would just be distracting and it wouldn't create a relaxed atmosphere. The service was ok, friendly but very reserved. The food was delicious and we were only missing a few special things such as the fried zucchini or a pita bread instead of a French baguette 🥖. These are subtleties, but now I just go out to eat because I get things there that I don't have in everyday life. The price-performance ratio didn't suit us either. Paying €28.50 for a prawn 🍤 saganaki with 8 prawns, without any side dishes, sorry, that's a lot. The taste was good, but I personally found it a little under-spiced and I missed the feta taste. The bifteki was absolutely delicious and the vegetables were al dente. The starters were also absolutely delicious 😋. Overall, we found the restaurant very typically Greek, especially because of its simplicity. When it comes to food, we give it a well-intentioned four stars, although there is still room for improvement.

This Greek restaurant in Stuttgart really deserves 5 stars! As soon as we entered we were greeted warmly, as if we were acquaintances. Particularly noteworthy is the excellent quality of the dishes, everything freshly prepared, which you can taste with every bite. My bifteki was fantastic: grilled beautifully crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside and filled with spicy sheep's cheese, just as it should be. The service was attentive, friendly and always with a smile on their faces. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back when we are in the area. If you want to enjoy authentic Greek cuisine in Stuttgart, you've come to the right place!

Located somewhat inconspicuously around the corner, the entrance initially looks like an old ice cream parlor, but on the 1st floor there is a cute restaurant with friendly furnishings. However, the food was bomb. Really good. The menu is extensive and you are spoiled for choice. The grilled sea bream was one of the best I've eaten in the city so far.

So we were trying to compromise from our side. Then we were charged with the bill which included 1 piece of uncooked chicken souvalaki. It was 4.8€. Then we politely asked them to remove it because we were already paying 13.5 € for the Wrong salad they had served. It was their mistake when talking the order. During the process of talking the manager made hopeless German comments about my wife. He threatened to call the police for questioning him. We also wanted call the police. He harassed that we were making up all these just so that we don’t pay. We have paid our bill. After clearing the bill, the manager did not stop yelling at us infront of other customers. No compensation were provided for the wrong or uncooked food. All that we received was ,Humiliation‘.

I have been a happy regular customer for years and can honestly say that Greek Cuisine is the best Greek restaurant in Stuttgart. All ingredients are fresh and high quality, the dishes are perfectly prepared and, above all, authentic. The service is more than courteous and friendly and makes the atmosphere all the more cozy. The interior design feels high quality without being over the top or looking out of place. All in all, more than just worth a visit. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who values ​​good (Greek) food. It's worth it!!

A small restaurant with super delicious food! We were unsure at first because there were no guests downstairs, but we were then placed upstairs where there were others. The food tasted very fresh and was excellent! Price-performance is totally right! Service was very accommodating.

After visiting several Greek restaurants in Stuttgart Mitte and the surrounding area, I have to admit that I have never tasted the meat as well as in Greek Cuisine. In particular, the exquisite sauce that accompanies the meat significantly enriched the culinary experience for me. Even on a busy Saturday evening, I was always treated to friendly and extremely courteous service. The cozy atmosphere and attractive furnishings also contribute to the feeling of being in Greece. For me this is an unreserved recommendation: 5 out of 5 stars.

The prices on the online menu do not match the prices on the menu in the restaurant. Some around 10/15€. A student who was there with us had to pay exactly 10€ more, even though he ordered the waitress using the online card. No goodwill from the restaurant management. Very bad service. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also really friendly and intimate, as if we were on a small Greek island. The food arrived quickly and the staff were kind, attentive and professional. We would be happy to come back anytime and wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone who wants a real Greek gastronomic experience!

Food was good. The service was also very nice. The €2.50 surcharge for replacing inserts is completely exaggerated. We found it really bad that you can only pay with one EC card per table, otherwise it would cost too much in fees?! Nowadays, when you can pay for your purchase digitally in every bakery, that shouldn't be a problem. The guest should decide how they want to pay and not have to add everything up afterwards.

We arrived 3 min before opening time(11:30am), and outside tables were still not ready. A staff didn't welcome us and made us wait outside until she finishes making tables. Because we had a baby in stroller, she only allowed us to take a table at the corner without shade, and she never offered a child chair. Puedes ver los pepinos en la foto. - Su pimentón y aceituna que cobran 6, 50 son solo unos pocos pimentones enlatados y aceitunas enlatadas que costarían máximo 50 centavos. Inaceptable. Literalmente en todos los demás restaurantes griegos recibí pimentones reales que se freían / horneaban y se servían con aceite de oliva. Es perezoso darle ese plato a un cliente. La lubina estuvo demasiado tiempo cocinada. Estaba demasiado seco. - Cobran extra por el aceite de oliva que aseguran que cuesta 74 euros el litro. Me pican los sentidos. Mis papilas gustativas me dicen que el simple aceite de oliva de 6 euros de Rewe sabe mejor. Quizá sea caro, no puedo saberlo. Pero no tiene absolutamente ningún sabor. En general, una de las peores comidas que tuve en más de 30 restaurantes griegos en los que he estado en Alemania.

We went to this restaurant today as a couple due to the extremely high rating of this restaurant. Unfortunately, the reviews are probably fake. First we ordered two dark hefeweizen from Erdinger. One came as dark and one as light. The waitress didn't speak a word of German and tried to make it clear to me in English that both are dark, only the bottle has changed (see the photo for yourself :-)). We then ordered 2 coleslaws, feta cheese baked in aluminum foil and a chicken and a pork skewer (Souvflaki), as well as a piece of baguette, which had to be paid extra. Unfortunately the food didn't come together. It was assumed that we wanted to eat the meat as the main course on its own and without any side dish :-). After a long discussion in English, the meat arrived. Unfortunately the salad had no acid and was swimming in olive oil. The chicken was completely overcooked and the pork was unfortunately of poor quality. Taste ok. Price and performance a disaster. The feta was credit card sized. It's been a long time since I've had such a bad meal for a lot of money. Never again.

One service worker was friendly, another service worker, who only spoke English, was not particularly friendly. We ordered a meze plate, feta cheese and octopus. Meze was not special, cheese was not special. Octopus was ok. Another point about the ambience, we would have liked some Greek music, we couldnt hear in our area.

I’d go there only for fries and beer. - The eggplants were very tasteless. Plus it was baked much shorter than required. Also the tomatoes on that dish needs to be cooked for much longer. I wish they selected better eggplants and better tomatoes. I give that dish 0/5. You literally cannot make it worse. - The Greek salad was awful besides the feta. They cut all the vegetables in advance and keep the salad in the fridge. The cucumbers and the onions as well were dead. I told this to the owner. If it was my restaurant I’d be hesitant to charge the customer for the salad which we only ate the feta and didn’t eat the rest. You can see the cucumbers in the photo. - Their paprika and olive which they charge 6,50 is just a few canned paprikas and canned olives that would cost maximum 50 cents. Unacceptable. Literally in every other greek restaurant I got real paprikas that were fried/baked and served with olive oil. It is just lazy to give that dish to a customer. - The seabass was cooked way too long. It was much too dry. - They charge extra for the olive oil that they claim it costs 74 euros per liter. Tingles my spidy senses. My tastebuds tell me that simple 6 euro olive oil from Rewe tastes better. Maybe it is expensive, I cannot know. But it has absolutely no flavor. Overall one of the worst food I had in more than 30 Greek Restaurants I have been to in Germany.

The first thing that came to mind was “naturalized Greek food.” The food was quite good, but not typical Greek food. In addition, the dishes were very small and the vegetables were not well prepared. (Food ordered: Tsatziki, Menu Souvlakia, Tiri Saganaki, Tigania). If you want to eat traditional Greek food, this is the wrong place.

Wow, what a disappointing visit. I was looking forward to great Greek food and instead got what to me tasted like frozen vegetables (are carrots, green beans and broccoli typically Greek?) accompanied by bag boiled dry white rice and a bland tasting bifteki. In my opinion the restaurant should be called "attempt at Greek Cuisine" instead. They charge extra for the French baguette bread (no Greekness here either) that does NOT come with the tzatziki (which was actually pretty good) BTW. And all of that for a grand total of 42euro is a fantastic rip-off in my opinion. Oh substituting the rice for fries is an extra €2.50!

Strangely enough, the only communication was in English, you probably want to be hip like in Berlin. The ambience is nice. Unfortunately I didn't really like the food. The octopus was tasty, but a little over-fried. Unfortunately the side dish was rather tasteless. Likewise the chicken, which was almost charred. The rice and vegetables also tasted really boring. For once a Greek restaurant that offers authentic cuisine. The Greek food is usually not bad - but it is usually based on the Central European palate. In fact, my wife and I don't understand the good reviews that were ultimately the reason we went in the first place. The homepage advertises that the restaurant is barrier-free. I'm in a wheelchair and the door into the restaurant is very narrow. In the lower area there is only a counter and 4 tables for two. It's very tight. Toilets and other seats are in the upper area, but are anything but barrier-free as they can only be reached via a spiral staircase. When you first looked at the menu you immediately noticed that there were no gyros. Greek without gyros? Anyway, not bad at first, we found something else. We also found €2.50 for supplements to be quite a lot. Instead of rice with grilled vegetables, choose fries, which requires less effort and less material use... Then the waitress came and spoke to us directly in English and couldn't speak anything other than Greek. An absolute no-go for guests who don't speak English. The starter, stuffed grape leaves with tzatziki, was made warm from a can. I honestly don't need to go out to eat for that. In retrospect, the main course tasted quite good, but it was carelessly prepared and there was also relatively little in terms of quantity. I'm talking about a bifteki with fries for €25... We walked out of the store and actually wanted to get a kebab next door. The first impression ultimately led to us not going there again...
