Greek Cuisine in Stuttgart

We order food and had been waiting at least 40 minutes. Food wasn't tasty. Bifteki was burned. Then we asked for bill and they bought it after 15 min. Besides restaurant was almost empty

The food was okay, but nothing exceptional. The rice was a bit dry and the vegetables didn't taste like anything. The meat, however, was very good. I deducted one star because I had a reservation and the restaurant didn't know about it. Furthermore, the staff discussed very loudly next to the guests, which left a rather unprofessional and disorganized impression.

quite a pleasant place, a good selection of dishes. But for the wine by the glass - only one type of white wine and I ordered a sweet appetizer, after which they gave me my cutlery back for the octopus, it was very strange. But the octopus is 5⭐️

Although very nice restaurant with nice atmosphere and good food and welcoming people....I recommend you go and try it especially if you are from Greece or Cyprus!!!

The food was fantastic: the flavors and seasoning really captured the authentic feel of Greece. Fresh ingredients and carefully prepared dishes were felt in every bite. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also really friendly and intimate, as if we were on a small Greek island. The food arrived quickly and the staff were kind, attentive and professional. We would be happy to come back anytime and wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone who wants a real Greek gastronomic experience!

Food was good. The service was also very nice. The €2.50 surcharge for replacing inserts is completely exaggerated. We found it really bad that you can only pay with one EC card per table, otherwise it would cost too much in fees?! Nowadays, when you can pay for your purchase digitally in every bakery, that shouldn't be a problem. The guest should decide how they want to pay and not have to add everything up afterwards.

We were there for the second time and ordered two grilled dishes. The portions are huge, everything is fresh, you bring it with you.

Unfortunately we had very long waiting times. What bothered me was the €2.50 surcharge you have to pay if you want fries as a side dish instead of rice. The portion of fries was also very small… Souvlaki was at least tasty.

The food was excellent, only the slouvaki was on the grill for a few seconds too long. We found the courteous service very positive. A small negative point for me are the chairs in the outdoor area, they aren't the most comfortable and the casino opposite doesn't make a particularly nice impression, but the restaurant can't do anything about that =)

The food was delicious, the place was pleasantly cozy and the staff, some of whom were Greek, were also very friendly and in a good mood. Overall it created a pleasant Greek atmosphere (together with the Greek waiter 😁). The restaurant offers the option of sitting both inside and outside. Very clean. You didn't have to wait very long for your order either. Conclusion: recommended 😉

It is a restaurant with a terrace and a good atmosphere, the girls who served us were very friendly and attentive. The food we tried was all absolutely delicious, we ordered the chicken and lamb skewers stuffed with cheese. The taste of shale meat. If I return to Stuttgart directly to eat there because I will always remember those delicious flavors.

We spontaneously went to the Greek Cuisine in the evening to try it out. The Greek waitress welcomed us very nicely and quickly assigned us a table. Scottish fans had also sat down in the restaurant and the waitress scored with very good English. As a starter there was feta cheese with honey and bread - absolutely recommended. For the main course we ordered the meat platter for two people. Plenty of meat with a light sauce, rice and tzatziki. Everything happened quite quickly and was very tasty. Price-performance ratio is also okay! I'm looking forward to going here again!

They won't serve you if you want just a small bites. Also, food was not real Greek but more German spin-off. Portions are also small even when you order main dish.

The pansetta, pork belly was tasteless and unseasoned, it just had a burnt taste. The portion was a reasonable size and the rice was good. The service was friendly, but there were too few for the number of guests

I ordered tzatziki and tomato crab. There was no cucumber in the tzatziki. But at least it was edible. The crab was cold, the sauce warm and tasteless. The place was a bad experience. I don't understand why this place gets good ratings.

This restaurant deleted my 1-star Google Review. That is why they are listed as the highest rated restaurant in Stuttgart. They get lower rated reviews deleted. I have actual photos of the food and the receipt of what I ate. In short, the food was not to our expectations. Here is the comment that got deleted. I also had photos of the rotten cucumber that I had in my salad. Unfortunately did not match our expectations. I gave the feedback to the owner as well. Especially if you are Mediterranean there is a high chance that you’d be disappointed. Overall, from the quality of the ingredients to the preparation method I disliked everything I experienced in this restaurant. Also the prices are higher compared to the average you see in Stuttgart. I’d go there only for fries and beer. - The eggplants were very tasteless. Plus it was baked much shorter than required. Also the tomatoes on that dish needs to be cooked for much longer. I wish they selected better eggplants and better tomatoes. I give that dish 0/5. You literally cannot make it worse. - The Greek salad was awful besides the feta. They cut all the vegetables in advance and keep the salad in the fridge. The cucumbers and the onions as well were dead. I told this to the owner. If it was my restaurant I’d be hesitant to charge the customer for the salad which we only ate the feta and didn’t eat the rest. You can see the cucumbers in the photo. - Their paprika and olive which they charge 6,50 is just a few canned paprikas and canned olives that would cost maximum 50 cents. Unacceptable. Literally in every other greek restaurant I got real paprikas that were fried/baked and served with olive oil. It is just lazy to give that dish to a customer. - The seabass was cooked way too long. It was much too dry. - They charge extra for the olive oil that they claim it costs 74 euros per liter. Tingles my spidy senses. My tastebuds tell me that simple 6 euro olive oil from Rewe tastes better. Maybe it is expensive, I cannot know. But it has absolutely no flavor. Overall one of the worst food I had in more than 30 Greek Restaurants I have been to in Germany.

We wanted to try Greek food for the first time and were excited about it. However, the younger staff member did not behave politely. Instead of describing the food, she told us to google it and walked away. Overall, I believe the service quality was very poor.

We arrived 3 min before opening time(11:30am), and outside tables were still not ready. A staff didn't welcome us and made us wait outside until she finishes making tables. Because we had a baby in stroller, she only allowed us to take a table at the corner without shade, and she never offered a child chair. She was never supportive and looked only annoyed of us or whatever, so we didn't want to stay there for meal any more. I had a good memory from a few months ago, but it's totally ruined now.

We were forced to order something we didn’t want after the waitress complained because we only wanted some small plates. Ordered octopus and calamari, and got the smallest and testeless portions ever. Would never recommend this place

It was my first time trying Greek food. I had heard that Greek food was delicious, so I was excited to eat it, and it was so delicious that I wanted to go to Greece. There is also an English menu. There are plenty of seats on the second floor and it's quiet.

We waited 50 minutes to receive a relatively simple order (fries, souvlaki, lamb chops). The food was good though.

We went to this restaurant today as a couple due to the extremely high rating of this restaurant. Unfortunately, the reviews are probably fake. First we ordered two dark hefeweizen from Erdinger. One came as dark and one as light. The waitress didn't speak a word of German and tried to make it clear to me in English that both are dark, only the bottle has changed (see the photo for yourself :-)). We then ordered 2 coleslaws, feta cheese baked in aluminum foil and a chicken and a pork skewer (Souvflaki), as well as a piece of baguette, which had to be paid extra. Unfortunately the food didn't come together. It was assumed that we wanted to eat the meat as the main course on its own and without any side dish :-). After a long discussion in English, the meat arrived. Unfortunately the salad had no acid and was swimming in olive oil. The chicken was completely overcooked and the pork was unfortunately of poor quality. Taste ok. Price and performance a disaster. The feta was credit card sized. It's been a long time since I've had such a bad meal for a lot of money. Never again.

It is definitely not at the same level as you know it from Greece. In terms of taste, it was nothing special. One service worker was friendly, another service worker, who only spoke English, was not particularly friendly. We ordered a meze plate, feta cheese and octopus. Meze was not special, cheese was not special. Octopus was ok. Another point about the ambience, we would have liked some Greek music, we couldnt hear in our area.

Food was delicious, not fussy, and well made. Service was easy and friendly. Located in a great location in Stuttgart.

The first thing that came to mind was “naturalized Greek food.” The food was quite good, but not typical Greek food. In addition, the dishes were very small and the vegetables were not well prepared. (Food ordered: Tsatziki, Menu Souvlakia, Tiri Saganaki, Tigania). If you want to eat traditional Greek food, this is the wrong place.

Wow, what a disappointing visit. I was looking forward to great Greek food and instead got what to me tasted like frozen vegetables (are carrots, green beans and broccoli typically Greek?) accompanied by bag boiled dry white rice and a bland tasting bifteki. In my opinion the restaurant should be called "attempt at Greek Cuisine" instead. They charge extra for the French baguette bread (no Greekness here either) that does NOT come with the tzatziki (which was actually pretty good) BTW. And all of that for a grand total of 42euro is a fantastic rip-off in my opinion. Oh substituting the rice for fries is an extra €2.50!

I chose the restaurant because of the good reviews. Staff friendly and accommodating, service good. Strangely enough, the only communication was in English, you probably want to be hip like in Berlin. The ambience is nice. Unfortunately I didn't really like the food. The octopus was tasty, but a little over-fried. Unfortunately the side dish was rather tasteless. Likewise the chicken, which was almost charred. The rice and vegetables also tasted really boring. Unfortunately my expectations were not met and I cannot understand the very good rating. Good average, nothing more.

For once a Greek restaurant that offers authentic cuisine. The Greek food is usually not bad - but it is usually based on the Central European palate. I didn't get that impression from our choice of food or from the menu in this house. I can only recommend a visit and will be happy to come back here next time I'm in Stuttgart.

In fact, my wife and I don't understand the good reviews that were ultimately the reason we went in the first place. The homepage advertises that the restaurant is barrier-free. I'm in a wheelchair and the door into the restaurant is very narrow. In the lower area there is only a counter and 4 tables for two. It's very tight. Toilets and other seats are in the upper area, but are anything but barrier-free as they can only be reached via a spiral staircase. When you first looked at the menu you immediately noticed that there were no gyros. Greek without gyros? Anyway, not bad at first, we found something else. We also found €2.50 for supplements to be quite a lot. Instead of rice with grilled vegetables, choose fries, which requires less effort and less material use... Then the waitress came and spoke to us directly in English and couldn't speak anything other than Greek. An absolute no-go for guests who don't speak English. The starter, stuffed grape leaves with tzatziki, was made warm from a can. I honestly don't need to go out to eat for that. In retrospect, the main course tasted quite good, but it was carelessly prepared and there was also relatively little in terms of quantity. I'm talking about a bifteki with fries for €25... We walked out of the store and actually wanted to get a kebab next door. The first impression ultimately led to us not going there again...

The taste of the food was very good. Large selection of starters. The sauce for the koto souvlaki was also delicious. Meat was juicy. Salad was good, but could have been a bit bigger.

Overpriced for the taste of the food. The service was too slow. If you stay inside, you absorb the smell of the cooking oil. Your clothes smell on food. Not recommend if you plan to continue your night!

I've had grilled octopus many times, it shouldn't taste burnt They brought out the main while I was still eating the starter. Super great, fast and friendly service and the food tastes very good. The wine is also very good. The Greek platter for 2 or 4 people. is very tasty and recommended. In summer the terrace is also nice and cozy. Always happy to go there :)

Souvlaki tasted OK, but frozen vegetables with it for the price of 16.5 EUR? I can't accept that. However, there is a nice atmosphere up on the first floor. The service was mediocre. Not super friendly, I have to be honest. I felt like they were just doing their job and nothing more. I can't understand 4.7 stars. Unfortunately the food there doesn't really taste Greek...

Very good Greek food. Modern interpreted cuisine with great quality. Special dishes, great selection and top service. Very well seasoned and beautifully presented. Be sure to reserve in advance, word has gotten around about the quality and service and getting a table spontaneously is difficult. Definitely try it. The meat platter and herb rice are wonderful. Prices are a bit high, but the taste and quality speak for themselves.

As a Swabian Greek, I can only say: “The currently best address for very good Greek cuisine in Stuttgart.” As is typical Greek... we first had 3 delicious starters, salad Greek Cuisine, feta saganaki in filo dough and patates tiganites. As a main course we had grilled calamari and grilled octopus, which was served with fava (puree of yellow peas and caramelized onions) as a side dish. Not only did it taste delicious, the plates also looked fantastic (see photos). It was even worth it for me to take a quick look at the open kitchen and pay the cooks a big compliment on their cooking skills. Service and ambience equally wonderful. A little piece of Greece in the heart of Stuttgart ❤️. Great, keep it up. P.S. ToGo I took 4 Soutzoukakia and a Bifteki gemista with me for my husband, he was thrilled and an expert, even praising the very good quality of the meat. Which, by the way, you notice in all dishes. Therefore chapeau as the French say 🤩.

Price/performance is definitely not guaranteed here. The food was a huge disappointment and extremely overpriced. My friend paid €18 for a pan and got six mini pieces of meat without any side dish (not even a child could get enough of that). I paid €19 for two beef steaks and got two small pieces and a little rice. The 0.4 liter water costs €3.90 which is a real joke. The restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere but what you get for your money here is a disgrace. No recommendation!

The grilled vegetables had three pieces of pepper and two pieces of zucchini as if they were leftovers from another table. In terms of taste, almost everything was average to poor. I had seen the positive reviews and that's why I chose it but apparently it wasn't worth it. Pity. I wish you an improvement and a good continuation.

I'm more conflicted about this review than I have been for a long time. First of all, the food (I had a stuffed bifteki with rice and fries) was very good and very tasty. However, any changes to supplements will be charged extra, even if it is just different supplements instead of more. The exchange of vegetables for fries was charged extra, which I found a bit strange. For the starter, tzatziki with bread, the bread could have been a little fluffier, one spot was really hard (dry). The tzatziki was a dream, very tasty!!! At the end the host gave us a delicious ouzo. All in all a good but also expensive experience.

Never had such a terrible birthday meal. Even though we had a reservation, we had to sit by the kitchen. It was noisy given the circumstances, the waiters were very stressed and left their things right at our table. The light was bright and not comfortable. We didn't feel welcome at all.

Very nice restaurant in the middle of Stuttgart. The staff was super friendly and the food was very, very tasty. The main course was a bit light. Maybe you should have an appetizer with it. The dessert was very plentiful. The only negative point was that the toilet was dirty, which the staff couldn't really do anything about. If I'm nearby I'd love to come back.

Wir haben spontan und ohne Reservierung an einem Samstag abend mit 4 Personen gegessen. Ambiente schön, Service erst einmal nett, aber eine der Servicekräfte ist der deutschen Sprache leider überhaupt nicht mächtig. Die bestellte Vorspeise ohne Beilage wird als Hauptgang MIT Beilage serviert, die Pommes die ich wollte kamen natürlich mit extra Preis noch oben drauf. Reklamationen versteht der Herr leider nicht, da kein deutsch. Klassiker wie Gyros gibt es leider nicht. Auf Nachfrage antwortet man, dieses sei "moderne" Griechische Küche, keine "gewöhnliche". Beilagenänderungen am Gericht werden extra berechnet, gleich am Eingang steht schon der Hinweis, dass pro Tisch nur EINE Kartenzahlung akzeptiert wird. Es entsteht der Eindruck, hier herrscht ein Pfennigfuchser über sein Lokal. Will jeder seine eigene Rechnung per Karte begleichen (wir sind in einer Großstadt im Jahr 2024, sollte also möglich sein) wird der Chef geholt. Dieser wird schnell laut und sehr unfreundlich, sodass sich alles im Lokal nach einem umdreht. Das unschöne Ende eines Abends, der eigentlich ganz schön hätte werden sollen.

Für mich die griechische Version der italienischen Nonna-Küche, die ich so liebe. Die Auberginen mit Tomaten und Feta schmeckte ebenso wie bei Oma wie die saftigen Bifteki. Beides eine glatte 10!
