Trattoria Salieri in Stuttgart

One of the cafés in Mozartplace, which we've known for a long time because I play table tennis there and we always take the kids to the small playground there. The first time we were there, we tried the restaurant. To be honest, none of us in the family was satisfied. My three children usually love pizza, but none of them liked the pizzas there, and we haven't been back for a long time. Nevertheless, we continued to go to the square and the other restaurants. After a long time, I wanted to give them another chance. A few days ago, the five of us went there again with the children. But the food was really bad. The two older ladies serving were both very unfriendly and rude—extremely rude indeed. They reprimanded our children. We couldn't choose a table. The wines were bad, the food abysmal. I don't plan on ever going back. But I will continue to visit the square. Mozartplace is a beautiful place.

Authentic Italian cuisine of the highest quality. The service is very relaxed and friendly. Selected dishes remind me strongly of my Italian vacation.

As always, a great mixed salad and a delicious pinsa with matching white wine, an all-round harmonious evening in the city.

Excellent Italian food in a quiet residential area surrounded by leafy trees in Stuttgart West. The name of the restaurant is a bit tongue in cheek, as Salieri was Mozart's rival, and this eatery is in Mozartplatz! Their daily specials are written on a blackboard, besides a regular menu. The flavor, I was told by my dining companion, is definitely authentic, as Germany is much closer to Italy than the US :-). We ordered two primis, two main dishes, two desserts and two drinks. I wanted something unique, so asked for the grilled tuna coated in sesame seeds. It was exquisite - the fish is fresh, tender and juicy, while the thick layer of black and white sesame seeds add much flavor, a truly creative and delicious combination. And the portion was quite substantial - two large triangular filets. As a vegetarian, I could only stomach one piece, and my carnivore friend happily devoured the other piece, with amazement. Service was warm and prompt. We had plenty of time to savor our food and have a good conversation.

There were two of us in the restaurant, and our table was wedged under a table, which we were briefly informed of, but not how unstable the whole thing was. Unfortunately, our almost full drinks fell over when the wedge came loose. Instead of understanding or a solution, we were blamed for the accident and told to pay for the drinks. They also pointed out that the glasses cost money. This came as a great surprise and disappointment to us, as I used to be a regular customer. I wish more leniency was shown in such situations and that tables were checked regularly to prevent accidents. A friendly conversation with guests after such an accident would make the stay more pleasant.

Great Italian restaurant. On our trip to Stuttgart we didn't want to eat in the city center but wanted to find something personal, and we were lucky. It was great all around: nice atmosphere, great food and great service.

The service: very friendly and accommodating Eat: came quickly and was also attractively presented. Shortcoming: Unfortunately the octopus was fried in oil for too long; the meat was partially burnt and dry inside. The vegetable side dishes were very mushy and fried with a bit too much fat. But the nice atmosphere made up for it. Nevertheless, thank you very much for the lovely evening.

It's a great location for a warm day. We were able to sit outside, which allowed us to keep an eye on our child playing at the nearby playground. The staff members were attentive. Although they didn’t have sweet wine, they suggested and made a nice drink for me. The food was good — I ordered meat and a salad. The meat was a bit fatty, but overall it was tasty.

I think it is a place preferred by local people because almost everyone knew each other :) I went without a reservation because I was alone. They accepted me, saying I could sit at the bar. The smell of the food is very nice. While I was eating my own food, the smell of the people next to me was tempting. There is a blonde, very friendly and kind lady waiting at the bar. He helps with everything. I preferred pizza and had a hard time not saying the second one :) The tiramisu was also very nice. It was a perfect closing dinner. The interior is very beautiful. Even though it was crowded, there was no disturbing noise. I came from the old castle on foot; If you do it this way, it won't be too much, but keep in mind that you will climb uphill. I will definitely stop by when I come again.

Good cuisine, unfortunately much too loud in the dining room. Recommend sitting outside or in a separate room as long as you don't invest in soundproofing.

A real favorite Italian restaurant for me. The food is great and the service even better. In the summer, you can sit outside, and it's very cozy inside!

A fantastic evening in the Trattoria Salieri on Mozartplatz. The dishes were all on point. Taste wise 5 out of 5. The service is attentive, friendly and fast. You can feel modern Italian flair here. All dishes are recommended. Priced super fair. We'd love to come back.

Super warm welcome. We had the Saltimbocca alla romana, which was excellent. We'll definitely be back soon. Thank you very much for the relaxing evening. There was the normal menu, Pinsa from the blackboard and daily specials from the blackboard (see photo, although not beautifully photographed).

Mein letzter Besuch lag einige Jahre zurück. Keine Ahnung warum es so eine lange Pause gab. Der Italiener ist vom Feinsten und man isst mit Genuss. Ein Abend mit Familie konnte hier bei sympathischen Gastgebern verbracht werden. Über die Küche und Weine wurde hier bereits genügend gelobt. Alles passt einfach gut und wir kommen alsbald wieder, um andere Gerichte von der kleinen aber feinen Karte zu genießen.

Encantador restaurante con personal muy dulce que trata de acomodar todos los deseos y necesidades. La comida era muy sabrosa. Teníamos pulpo a la parrilla y una pinsa y estaba delicioso. Ambiente acogedor - muy recomendable y volvería.

Came across this restaurant spontaneously and was more than thrilled! Really extremely friendly service, top-notch pizza and a really cozy atmosphere - even though we didn't have a reservation, they looked after us and then made a place for us at the bar. Both waitresses were so nice, funny and accommodating that we stayed seated longer. The next time we come to Stuttgart, we will definitely go here again!

Super tasty Italian, fresh ingredients and authentic dishes. A mix for pasta & pizza lovers with a small but fine menu and daily recommendations. In the summer there is a great terrace but the restaurant inside is also very cozy. A reservation is absolutely necessary as they either “only” serve outside or inside. Despite the stress that evening, the owners were super nice and tried very hard to maintain service. Price is a bit high but great quality.

War an einem Samstag Abend mit meiner Freundin essen. Es war sehr voll, aber wir hatten einen tollen Tisch. Wir hatten Suppen als Vorspeise, sie waren sehr gut gewürzt und aromatisch. Ich hatte ein Pasta Gericht und meine Freundin ein Pizza Gericht und wir waren beide sehr zufrieden. Als Nachtisch hatten wir ein Tiramisu, dass auch sehr gut geschmeckt hat. Die Bedienungen waren unglaublich freundlich und schnell! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

We were there promptly at 6 p.m. and it was freezing cold in the rooms (the heating had probably only been turned on shortly beforehand). The bread, salad and starters were delicious. The tortellini were more reminiscent of Maultaschen. Overall ok, but with significant potential for improvement.

The food was OK, but without the WOW effect. Small place, great service. Appropriately sized dishes, very good wine and typically Italian Aperol Spritz. The tuna tartare is delicious, but I will never understand combining it with avocado, for me these two flavors are too strong and want to play first fiddle. Ravioli first class, delicious! Just like grilled seafood, oh mamma mia! However, pizza was the weaker link here. As well as desserts. Good, but they were missing something or had too much (for me) - sugar. But the place is definitely worth your attention!

I was having dinner with friends and we wanted more bread with our starter and the lady told us no. Bread then comes with the main course. Who is bread with pasta? I've never experienced something like that where you can't get bread anymore. we didn't want it to be free!

Great authentic Italian cuisine - very tasty

Auf der Terrasse sitzt man schön.Das Essen war einfach gekocht, wenig gewürzt.Ich hatte das Gefühl das der Koch/Köchin sein eigenes Essen nicht abschmeckt.Auch bei meinen Freunden war das Essen nicht besonders. Würde ich kein zweites Mal besuchen.

Verspätet angekommen, 10 Minuten vor Küchenschluss trotzdem noch einen Tisch für zwei und eine geschmacklich unfassbar gute Pizza mit knusprig dünnem Boden bekommen. Authentisch, Ambiente abgestimmt. Träumchen! Gute Adresse.

Für Feinschmecker ein ideales Restaurant. Sehr Hundefreundlich. Stühle etwas unbequem aber vollkommen ausreichend. Besondere Pizza’s mit Avocado, frischem Lachs oder anderen tollen Zutaten sind hier zu finden. Die Muscheln waren ein absolutes Highlight. Nur zu Empfehlen. Zum Abschluss ein perfektes Tiramisu und ein toller Abend geht zu Ende.

It's a nice Italian spot that's usually pretty busy on the weekends. They have a menu of specials on the chalk board which is nice to see for the change in seasons and fresh produce! I got the lasagna and the gemischter salat with some red wine. Breadsticks came out as well. The salad they let you put your own balsamic and oil on, which I like. The lasagna seemed to have a pretty basic tomato sauce on it, was hoping for more flavor. Covered in cheese and really big portions.

One of the best authentic food you can eat. The food is delicious and the staff is super friendly. The restaurant is located south of the city center of Stuttgart in a very calm place. The seating and interior is super nice. Do not miss sitting outside on a sunny day!

Eine ausgezeichnete Trattoria in der Mitte Stuttgarts mit sehr schönem Ambiente und stilvoller Einrichtung. Ich hatte mit einem Geschäftsfreund einen Abend auf kulinarisch sehr hohem Niveau verbracht. Wir hatten Thunfischtatar als Vorspeise und Fisch zum Hauptgang, beides von der Tageskarte, die eine feine Auswahl von Fisch, Fleisch und vegetarischen Köstlichkeiten auswies. Die Preise sind sehr fair. Der Service war sensationell. Die beiden herzensguten Schwestern waren immer super aufmerksam und auf ihre Weinempfehlungen war Verlass. Die Trattoria bietet sehr schöne Weine an, die die Schwestern von ausgesuchten Winzern direkt aus Italien beziehen. Alles in allem war es ein mehr als gelungener Abend. Mein Geschäftsfreund hatte deshalb für die darauffolgende Woche für einen eigenen Termin einen Tisch gebucht.
