Very traditional Chinese cuisine. Apparently the shop is rarely visited by non-Chinese people as the lady only spoke Chinese and a bit of English. Food was tasty and plentiful. Unfortunately, the selection of vegetarian dishes is very limited and my vegetarian dish (something with eggplant) was a bit mono-thematically limited in taste because there were almost only eggplants on the plate.

They don't accept cards and ask for cash payment.

Hunan cuisine is delicious, but the price/performance ratio is average because the portion is small and not cheap. It’s a really small bowl. Don't order the pickled fish, it tastes terrible.

The portions are large, the chicken with saliva tastes very good, the boiled fish is not as spicy as expected, but the taste is very good and will not make it uncomfortable to go to the toilet the next day. The garlic baby cabbage is also amazing, full of minced garlic, and there are vermicelli at the bottom, which is a plus.

Mein Bruder erzählte mir, dass dies die Anlaufstation für Ex-Pads sei, die einen Aufenthalt in China gehabt haben und dass es hier authentische chinesische Küche gebe - Grund genug für mich, dorthin zu pilgern! Bei einer Verabredung mit einem Freund wurden wir aufs Angenehmste überrascht - es schmeckte wunderbar! Schade, dass ich so weit weg wohne, sonst würde diese Adresse flugs in die Essens-Standards integriert!

At last a Chinese restaurant with atypical dishes and regional specialties. I also celebrate that the spicy dishes were really that, spicy, and not this decaffeinated thing that "Europeans" usually do. I will be back for sure.

Nose to tail is the motto here and you notice that pretty quickly when you open the map. Various offal and dishes with beef blood are first and foremost on the menu. My colleagues wrinkled their noses and asked where I had dragged them to. But after the first bite, the complaining was quickly a thing of the past. Really tasty, unusual and above all authentic. Not a one-size-fits-all meal, as we unfortunately know from almost all other restaurants in the East. And yes, the menus are a bit sticky and the ambience is so-so, but the food makes up for it. However, I still have one tip to share. If there are a lot of Chinese people sitting in a restaurant, which was the case during our visit, and they are sensitive to eating noises such as slurping, smacking and belching, then it is better to wait before visiting. The purest cacophony 🥳 Otherwise, I can only recommend the “Great Wall”.

We went on holiday and out of the 7 nights spent in Cologne, 5 nights were spent eating here. Food is absolutely delicious, authentic and just amazing. Amazing service and atmosphere, cannot recommend this place enough!!

We ordered a chicken with a sweet sauce half of which was not even chicken but bamboo pieces not indicated in menu. And I chose soup made of tofu and sea shrimps which has a totally different color on the picture in their menu. In reality it was like a big cup with waterish viscous liquid. Plus there was no mentioning in menu that the soup is made of chicken, at all. And the waiter could be more polite with the customers actually ..

I visited in May 2019. It was the first food I had ever eaten. It was so delicious that I asked the chef the name of the food. Beef noodle... I really enjoyed it.

We reserved a table for 2 at 8pm and arrived on time. First we were made to wait at the entrance and then we waited at the table for another 15 minutes. The waiter, who seemed like the owner to me, ignored us and even gave cards to several guests who came after us and already served them. He didn't even look at us with one eye. We simply left after the event and then he cheekily said a nice goodbye. We were really looking forward to the meal and the evening, but unfortunately this local made the soup too salty for us. LG

Very bad attitude! When ordering, he had a tough attitude and claimed that every dish here is for one person and each person should order at least one dish. The charges were unreasonable. Regarding the controversial charges, even though they were only a few Euros, I was very impatient throughout the process! Restaurant staff openly claim that the dishes here are all semi-finished and pre-made! A very bad restaurant!

The food is good, but nothing special. It seemed somehow simple. Interior. I didn't have enough comfort and atmosphere, maybe it would be better if there was music. In general, the impression is more of a fast food cafe, although the prices are regular. I took the soup and as a main course the Peking sea bass. The perch was not a fillet, but a boned fish. This is one of the rare spots that serves truly authentic Asian cuisine. Their cold chicken in spicy sauce is a favorite of ours and keeps making us come back.

Yesterday we were guests at "Great Wall" for the first time, but certainly not for the last time. The service was very friendly and attentive, but not intrusive. The menu is beautifully designed, including pictures of each dish, which makes choosing a little easier. We had the fried noodles, 2 Shanghai-style spring rolls and beef with chili and coriander. All dishes were large enough, very tasty and served quickly. All of this, including 2 large (0.5 L) soft drinks, was available for just under 50 euros, so you really can't complain. If you like authentic Chinese, you definitely have to go to Great Wall.

I've never had Chinese food like this before, it's really something very special. But even people who don't like to experiment will find something here. Personally, I can recommend beef tripe with duck blood and 1000-year-old eggs. Service left a bit to be desired and the ambience wasn't great. But the visit was still very worthwhile!

The food is great, I drive all the way from Duisburg. Service for Germans sometimes takes a bit of getting used to, the ambience right next to the main train station is not for connoisseurs. But the food is really amazing!

Ambience could be more “Chinese”, but otherwise GREAT. From a German perspective, there are really weird specialties as the main course (fried duck tongues, for example), but 17 sweet and sour ones make the others, so just try it here. Really tasty, friendly service, maybe a little more expensive, but whatever. Go there, order whatever sounds weirdest, have fun. It's all ok.

Authentic Cantonese cuisine - duck pulls, frog legs, chicken feet etc. everything is available but there is also something for the German Asia fan. Mega tasty, clean and friendly staff. For me one of the best in the Cologne area

We stumble upon this nice place when were waiting near the Dom. We were lucky to walked in without a reservation because almost all the tables were reserved. We had the pig ear corn soup and the pork belly... It was amazing 😍 we loved every bit of it and we were so happy and filled. These and two drinks it coated us around 40+ euros.

Our favorite restaurant in Cologne! We've been eating here for years and are super satisfied. The food is really delicious and with the large selection there is something for everyone! The portions are also huge and the prices are completely okay. For 1€ you can order 1 portion of rice with each dish, or more if you want. 5 stars and an absolute recommendation.

We took fried rice and noodle soup with rice. The fried rice was very oily, not what I expected. The noodle soup contained bad pieces of beef, all rubbery. The noodles themselves tasted like simple aiki noodles. It said they were slightly spicy, but they weren't at all. They were very bland. Furthermore, the soup was also oily. Pay 7.50 euros for a 0.75 liter water bottle. Paid around 36 euros in total: the only good thing about it is that the portions were large. But quality-price ratio was very poor.

Last month I recommended an exhibitor to go with us. We ate nine dishes. The original price was 200 euros and the bill was 278 euros. After checking, many of the dishes were wrong. I sent it back and reprinted the bill. I was charged more than 230 euros. If you can't tell, I was tricked! Isn’t it good to do business with heart? The price itself is expensive and the quantity is small, so you won’t be full!

Often Asian restaurants have small rooms. We expected this. For each main course you can order an additional cup of rice for 1€. The food and drinks are delicious, but in my opinion the prices for the dishes are very high...

The first impression was good, the young staff were also very friendly, until the older lady served us: unfriendly, nervous. Even though I was behind the curtain, I kept seeing the lady smiling. The food was good, only the sweet sauce was actually SWEET, so I drank coke afterwards to temper the sweetness :)) but that's supposed to be a matter of taste. Ambience seems a bit neglected, hopefully the kitchen looks better. Conclusion: just because of the operation ⭐⭐⭐. I don't know Chinese like that.

The service at this restaurant is quite poor. I ordered a soup that appears with accessories in the menu photo, in reality it is just the rate. When requesting the bill, I ask to pay by card, which makes the managers angry because they have not warned me that they prefer cash payments. The food tastes good, that's also a reality.

Puedo decir con seguridad que esta fue la peor cocina y servicio chino que he encontrado. Mis amigos y yo acabamos de llegar a Köln y teníamos hambre y acordamos comer comida china para el almuerzo. El servicio fue rápido, quizás un poco demasiado rápido. Los entrantes estaban bien, los habituales entremeses chinos, para nuestra principal optamos todos por el arroz frito de pollo y huevo agridulce. Una vez atrapados, todos nos dimos cuenta de que el pollo no había sido cocinado. De hecho, era pollo congelado, que sospecho que fue frito. Todos dejamos de comer y le explicamos a nuestro camarero que el pollo no estaba cocinado. Pero esto cayó en oídos sordos. A la hora de pagar la cuenta, dije que solo pagaría los entrantes, arroz y un pollo agridulce como compromiso. Este acuerdo fue rechazado al principio hasta que mencioné llamar a la Polizei. Entonces nos instalamos amistosamente.

The food we ordered doesn't taste like it should taste. The starters had a lot of chili oil, but didn't taste spicy. Other dishes with below average quality in terms of quality and also taste. The food tastes really weird for a Chinese person who has been eating it forever. Of course, non-Chinese customers cannot easily tell whether the food is really authentic. Dieses außergewöhnliche, chinesische Restaurant in der Nähe des Kölner Doms bietet wirkliche, chinesische Gerichte in originaler Machart an. Auch Innereien und eher exotische Zutaten, die man sonst nicht so oft auf der Speisekarte bei uns findet, aber eben authentisch und gut gemacht. Ich hatte eine Sauer-Scharf-Suppe und scharfe, gebratene, feine Rindfleischstreifen mit Koriander und Reis. Kann ich sehr empfehlen. Wer nicht eingedeutschtes China-Essen sucht, sondern wirklich wie in China essen will und ein wenig experimentierfreudiger ist, wird hier auch fündig. Hier gehen auch viele Chinesen hin. Reservieren ist nicht schlecht, da es voll werden kann.

At the weekend we went to Great Wall and ordered different dishes. Overall, the food was very tasty and arrived at the table fresh and hot. By the way, you can also find very unusual dishes on the menu. The service was very friendly and accommodating. The only thing we didn't like was the atmosphere and it didn't seem very clean to us either.

We (a married couple) didn't make a reservation, but half of the seats were empty. We trusted the pretty good ratings on the internet and were bitterly disappointed. AMBIENCE: you notice the proximity to the train station. Not comparable to the Chinese restaurants we had already visited. Our IMPRESSION: Snack bar around the corner and not a restaurant. The lady who welcomed and served us (presumably the owner) only reluctantly allowed us to choose a seat, even though there were still many free and not occupied at the time of our visit. Their SERVICE: still correct, but miles away from what we know from other restaurants. FOR MILES! Well - there really wasn't a need for her thumb in the rice that was delivered. You can also keep the bowl down. FOOD: Although it was advertised as spicy, in the end you could hardly taste anything other than chili. Meat: hard and “gnarly” apparently undercooked and cut too large, vegetables, of which there was very little, exactly the opposite: overcooked and mushy. A small bowl of rice (for two people) costs extra, as does the second one ordered. OVERALL IMPRESSION: Below average and absolutely not recommended.

The team was very friendly and the service was quick and courteous. The food was very good and of top quality. It tasted different than what we are used to at other Chinese restaurants, which we really liked. The range of food on offer is also different than what you are used to. We'd love to come back!
