Delicious food!!! And super friendly service! Highly recommended!!

Initially, this review was based solely on pictures and no text. However, since the owner requested more details... We received a warm welcome, and the service was consistently friendly and focused on customer satisfaction. The meat in the plated dishes was very dry, and some of it was unfortunately served lukewarm to cold. One person had stomach pains the following day. The vegetarian dish was completely tasteless. The sauce was either made with cream or something similar, without any seasoning. As a result, all the vegetables lacked any individual flavor, which was a real shame. The prices are also very high. We had been to this restaurant some time ago. Back then, the food was better, and the prices were reasonable. The tables and bar are functional. An absolute highlight in Dorsten! I recently visited the Tillessensee Restaurant and Pizzeria and I'm absolutely thrilled! From the very first moment, everything was perfect: The atmosphere at Tillessensee is incredibly cozy and ideal for a relaxed meal with family or friends. I was particularly impressed by the variety of dishes – from classic Italian pizzas and fresh pasta to oriental specialties. Everything is prepared with high-quality, fresh ingredients and tastes fantastic. The service was exceptionally friendly and attentive; you truly feel welcome. The dishes arrived quickly and piping hot – perfectly seasoned and beautifully presented. The portions are also very generous and the prices are absolutely fair. Whether it's a spontaneous visit or a lovely evening with good food – I can recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates delicious pizza, Mediterranean cuisine, and excellent service. For main courses, we had two of the grilled meats, a vegetable parcel, and lamb with chestnuts and walnuts in pomegranate sauce. Highly recommended. The staff is very friendly. The arc of light as you walk across the bridge to the entrance is truly amazing... I had tajine, lamb with prunes! The food was incomparably delicious! I had something different to eat in Germany. The tagine was delicious, though it could have used a bit more rice. The mixed grill was also good. I wasn't as impressed with the pizza; there was too much cheese and the pizza dough was different. The service was friendly, even though they didn't speak English and we didn't speak German. :) There's no English menu, but Google Translate is a great help!

It's very dark at the tables, you can hardly read your menu. We really used our cell phone flashlight... This could be quickly remedied with a few stylish table floor lamps.

Super lovingly and creatively furnished restaurant with a warm owner. Our Italian food was simple but good. In hindsight, I would have preferred to be a little more experimental and opted for an Arabic dish. They were more refined and varied in taste and a different number.

Unfortunately, on German Unity Day the service was catastrophic. The owner was alone and completely overwhelmed. First we had to wait about 5 minutes until he showed up and assigned us the reserved table. Unfortunately, empty glasses were not noticed either. We had to get the menu ourselves so we could check out the dessert offerings. So: The food was great as always, but unfortunately the service was nothing at all. Update from February 2023: The waitress at the local restaurant is absolutely rude and rude. After complaining about the pizza in a timely manner, you were served a new pizza, but with a cheeky remark. When we wanted to pay and she came to the table, she ignored the request to take the leftover pizza with us and we were yelled at again. Old recession: Very nice and cozy atmosphere. The food tasted very good and was beautifully prepared.
