That was the worst restaurant I've ever been to. The food was simply awful, not fresh at all. I think they're serving food that's been sitting around for two or three days! The staff is incredibly unfriendly! Everything was just terrible!! 🤢🤮 I definitely don't recommend it!

Buffet with a wide selection of dishes. The food is delicious. Fresh meat, fish, vegetables, and shellfish can be individually selected and cooked to order. The restaurant is also suitable for larger groups.

Always very crowded and therefore noisy. I found the buffet selection to be somewhat smaller than at comparable buffets. The fresh grilled platters take a very long time due to the number of guests, but they are good. It's great that soft drinks are included.

Kinda friendly employees, extra wishes were welcome and accepted, food was alright but nothing special or different, sushi was really nice but I would wish for more variation and prices are relatively high! My cook yourself meal took superrrrr long they basically forgot about it and I waited and hour and was not hungry no more and it came a bit burned like the garlic on my seafood

I've been there several times and have always been very satisfied. Last time, there was a "new" chef. I asked him which sauce I should have with my chosen meat. He was very helpful and asked if I liked this and that, and then he put together something for me with different ingredients and sauces. And it tasted absolutely delicious. I can highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

We were here on Sunday at lunchtime for the all-you-can-eat buffet. What can I say? Everything was absolutely perfect. The food was very good, all fresh and, most importantly, hot, and the buffet was constantly replenished. The service was very friendly and attentive. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable visit.

I really enjoyed my visit and would definitely recommend it. There's even a bus stop right in front of the restaurant, and they have a separate playroom with toys for children.

The best beef I've had in a long time. Everything else was really excellent too. We were on a city break and visited the restaurant more or less by chance. But it was well worth it. If we ever visit Nuremberg again, we'll definitely stop by.

Yeah, well, for the price, it's okay. I don't think the chocolate fountain had real chocolate, even though so many people mentioned it positively in their reviews. There wasn't a huge selection either, so after two or three plates, I'd pretty much tried everything. My god, you can go there, but I wouldn't go again.

Today was my first time going there via "Too Good To Go"—unfortunately, there was no buffet selection. You simply get a pre-made dish, which would have been fine with me in principle, but I'm used to a different experience at other Asian buffets. At first glance, I thought: Wow, what a generous portion! The second glance, however, brought disappointment. The rice was hard and dry, the duck looked old and dried out (definitely not fresh), and the fried items were rock hard and also dried out. The vegetables, beef, and shrimp were swimming in grease—I tried two or three bites, and unfortunately, I threw the rest away. The fish and meat were in the same box—it didn't bother me, but I'm mentioning it in case other customers are interested. For €5, I would have preferred to walk 20 meters further to McDonald's and get a double cheeseburger—at least that would have been fresh. It's a real shame, and frankly disappointing, to still be selling something like this as a "buffet." ... I hope my stomach forgives me for this visit – it certainly wasn't "Too Good To Go".

We went there for dinner with the family. Right from the start, I noticed the staff seemed annoyed. Drinks were forgotten, and vegetarian food wasn't refilled. When we politely pointed out that the grilled fish wasn't cooked through, the owner offered to put the food back on the grill!!! Excuse me???? Are hygiene regulations not being observed??? She called me disrespectful in front of the guests. Totally unprofessional!!! A colleague (the boss) said they had a lot of work at the moment, and that people were working late into the evening, which was why they were overreacting a bit. I don't recommend this restaurant!

Much of the buffet seems to be frozen, with lots of batter and not much in it. The wok dishes are okay. Over €30 plus drinks is a lot.

Very well-organized all-you-can-eat restaurant. The selection of ready-made meals isn't as extensive. There are more options available for grilling. There's also a large selection of sushi.

We were there for dinner. And yes, we arrived 1.5 hours before closing time. The staff told us they weren't refilling the drinks, but we could always let us know if we needed anything. I think that's a good thing in principle, because you don't have to waste food. Now for the food: The freshly prepared food in the wok wasn't great, but it was okay. The warmed food was a disaster! Dried-out glass noodles, which made some of them crunchy; tough chicken; soggy fries; sauces from a canister; a baked banana that was just batter in your mouth, totally chewy; the contents of the breaded squid rings were practically nonexistent, as there was too much breading and too little squid. All of it was careless, cheap frozen goods. The dessert buffet wasn't any better! We simply skipped the ice cream buffet because the water was totally unappealing for the ice cream scoop. For that, we paid €32.90 per person... WITHOUT drinks, mind you. For that price, the quality of the food served was absolutely outrageous. Never again!

It was our first time there. We were surprised by how quiet it was compared to other buffet restaurants. The buffet is modest but very tasty. The staff were very friendly. You can also order the included drinks from them. Overall, we had a great stay and can recommend it.

You get a bit more peace and space here. The restaurant isn't very big, and the food selection isn't very extensive, but the quality is good. Taste is very subjective; we enjoyed it. Even the freshly grilled food was really well-grilled, cooked to perfection. Everyone was very friendly, nice, and fairly quick. Everyone was satisfied. Overall, I give it 8/10.

We were here for the first time. It was a Friday lunchtime and not crowded. The atmosphere was pleasant. Friendly service and good food. The lunch buffet didn't have a huge selection, but it was enough to satisfy our hunger.

We were there for the lunch buffet. Many containers of food, even the rice, were completely empty and took quite a while to refill. The service ignored us, and it took half an hour before we got anything to drink. The food was good value for money, though!

We were here for dinner today. We were able to park right in front of the door. We didn't have a reservation, but we got a table right away. We all opted for the buffet. The buffet was always full and well-stocked. The food was all delicious. Even though some guests complained in their reviews that some of the items were too dry, it's a buffet, and a very good one at that. If you're only used to five stars, you need to go to a five-star restaurant... My only criticism would be that the Coke wasn't as cold as I would have liked, but everyone has their own opinion. When I asked for ice, I got it immediately, and then I got it with the other drinks, which arrived very quickly. My wife was very happy with her wine. The restrooms were very clean and tidy, as was the rest of the restaurant. There's a special, somewhat secluded play area for the kids. The staff was friendly and efficient. Don't let the few negative reviews put you off; we will definitely be back! Keep it up!

For what you pay, I honestly expect more variety in the food. The food itself tastes good, but compared to the others, I wouldn't recommend it.

We had to wait until we were assigned a table despite having made a reservation. The room was rather dark. Some of the food from the buffet (which is cleared away from 9.45 p.m.) was lukewarm. The price was high despite the free non-alcoholic drinks. If you are in Schweinfurt you should visit Asia World and enjoy it. It's more of a family atmosphere there. We will not be coming back to the Grand Zhang.

Greeting? None. Silent pointing in one direction. At the table? "Drinks?" Throughout the entire evening, hardly a word was exchanged, and no one, whether serving, cooking, or bar staff, smiled; everyone was in a bad mood. The ambiance, with balloons from past parties, old decorations in the closet, tattered chairs, seat cushions with the upholstery coming out, and broken coat hooks, was not at all inviting. The restrooms resembled those at a gas station without a Sanifair, but the buffet with plates, cutlery, and even the glasses were very clean. The buffet had everything you'd expect from an Asian restaurant, but nothing particularly special, unless you're interested in crocodile. The quality, especially of the freshly grilled beef and salmon, was excellent and convincing, definitely worth another visit, despite the rather shabby ambiance, but maybe there will be a good day. The price, of course, is massively impressive. Currently €32.90 per person. Very good for all-you-can-eat dinners including selected drinks. Conclusion: Service: a terrible day, Cleanliness: OK, Atmosphere: shabby/run-down, Food selection: satisfactory, Food quality: very good, Value for money: very good!

Great place for an "all you can eat and drink" buffet! There’s a wide variety of dishes to choose from, and overall the food is really good. The sauces were a bit thin for my taste, and while the sushi isn’t the best I’ve had, it’s definitely good. I'd happily visit again for the buffet experience

Great food! Service was very friendly and helpful! We're from Austria and would have been delighted with such a good price/performance ratio. If we're in the area again, we'll wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. The concept is well thought out... there's even a dedicated playroom for the little ones. The food was fantastic.

I had a very bad experience here during the Corona period. I had to wait an extremely long time for my food, and when it finally came, unfortunately it was the wrong dish. This caused me to lose my appetite. I then said I don't want to pay for it unless I can at least take my real order with me. I was then told that the police would be called - and that's what happened. Meanwhile, the chef finally brought me my food and told me to "eat it" in a rude tone. This was a very disappointing and unpleasant experience. I think it's a shame that my previous review seems to have been deleted and that the restaurant replied in its response that I wanted to cheat the bill - which is definitely not true. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this store at all.

Beautiful ambiance, the cooked meat was very dry and now hard, no matter whether it was chicken or duck, the shrimps didn't even have their intestines removed, the grilled meat wasn't cooked through, I had to clear the plates myself, some of the strawberries were still frozen, I didn't try the sushi, rice, noodles, etc. were all good, the service asked me what numbers the clips had!? There's a lot more to be done in terms of friendliness!! A whopping €32.90 per person + drink! Thanks, never again

You used to be better. Became too expensive. Keep/clean sauce making counter. Meat on the grill is fried to death. Different types of meat have different cooking times.

Very bad food but nice place. If you want to eat good quality sushi, you don't go there. Whatever we got from the buffet or whatever we were given to cook for us was not worth it, I regretted giving the money

The food was average but the service was terrible. The waitress spilled a tray of alcohol on us. When I asked for a dry cleaning refund, the administrator started ripping our jackets out of my hands. His justification was that he would take them to the dry cleaners and bring them back next week. But it's not summer outside, so it's uncomfortable to go home in the evening without jackets. Terrible service. And on top of that, the administrator called me crazy, which is completely unacceptable to guests. Absolutely unacceptable behavior!

One problem is that if you go to smoke you have to leave something at the table, things or someone.

Not recommended. If you want to eat together at the same table, everyone has to eat either buffet or a la carte. Otherwise you have to eat at separate tables. At 32 euros for the buffet. We left again.

We went to the lunch buffet with 3 adults and 2 children. The selection of food was manageable, but overall sufficient. Each of us has found something to fill us up. There was a selection of different sushi, although we didn't like the quality. They weren't bad by any means, but we're used to different things and are therefore a bit spoiled ;-) The staff was friendly and paid attention to cleanliness. All the food was fresh, including the salad and the fruit. The desserts included dark and light chocolate from the fountain, which was great for the children. Adults pay €13.90 at lunchtime including a 0.3l drink, children pay a reduced price depending on their age. So price/performance was okay. If you want to get your shit together quickly and cheaply, you're in good hands here. Update February 25, 2025: I've been here for a while now and unfortunately I have to say that the service and quality have deteriorated considerably. We were nearby at lunchtime, stopped in spontaneously and were unfortunately very disappointed. There was very little choice and the few dishes and starters were barely replenished, staff seemed unhappy and overall it was pretty dingy. Too expensive for that. Too bad! Downgraded from 3 stars to 1.5.

Typical buffet restaurant. The warm buffet is very clear, the selection is limited. The Mongolian buffet was okay, but also with a relatively small selection. The service was friendly, but it was very loud in the restaurant. Conversations were almost impossible. And like almost all Asian restaurants, the floor was sticky. Unfortunately, my feedback is that there are other Asian restaurants in Nuremberg that offer more for the same price.

It's been a long time since I've had such a nice all-you-can-eat meal in Nuremberg and the surrounding area. You receive a friendly welcome, especially the staff were very, very friendly. The food was very nice and there is a lot of choice here. Everything is refilled immediately as the staff are equipped with walky talkies that are always in contact with the kitchen. So from now on this is my go-to all you can eat place. I just recommend coming on non-holidays or Sundays, because we paid €31.90 per person including a drink. (ALL YOU CAN EAT AND DRINK non alcohol drinks)

I can only agree with Hallizora's review, I have to say the quality of the food is absolutely not good that this restaurant is even open, fried food didn't appeal to me as much as I had put together, the food was constantly burnt, I could say so many things but I'm just penniless and such a shame for the money. And the staff is very aloof and doesn't pay any attention to the guests. I can't recommend it in any way, I'd rather go to the Asia Copper House, 100% better than this store, I will never go to this store again.

We were five people. Either we all had to take the buffet or none of us had to take it a la carte. Unfortunately mixed was not possible. We left again without eating anything. We satisfied our hunger in another Chinese restaurant.

There are experiences that you only want to have once in your life - and my visit to this restaurant is undoubtedly one of them. For me, the culinary adventure ended with an unpleasant gastrointestinal journey, the memory of which will linger for a long time. The food here is a prime example of how to manage to leave neither your palate nor your stomach happy. The owner, apparently just as annoyed by the situation as his guests, demonstrated a type of service that is better described as “duty to the book,” but without the friendliness part. For the prices quoted here, you only get a fraction of the enjoyment you get in other places. A tip: At the Gourmet Tempel in Forchheim you actually get something for your money - including an all-you-can-drink offer that doesn't just consist of the meager selection of soft drinks. Even a visit to the tried and tested fast food chain offers more joy and less risk. Unfortunately, the “Big” Zhang is a big disappointment. Sometimes it's just better to stay away from the culinary adventure and opt for a more reliable option.

I wish I could give minus stars!!!! The food tastes strange and is sometimes cold. The selection is manageable and there are more strange desserts like Smurf ice cream on offer than actual Asian food. I haven't experienced such rude staff in a long time. After my friend and I only ate a little from the buffet, we both felt sick and had a stomach ache. After I felt increasingly weaker, I spoke to the owner about the whole thing. He was not at all accommodating and blamed us by saying that no one in the room currently had these symptoms and that I must simply have a cold. He only offered sake as compensation. Of course we didn't accept this because we were already feeling sick and alcohol isn't necessarily helpful here. After we just wanted to pay, he threatened my friend to take legal action if we wrote a bad review!!! This threat was the absolute last!!! Please never eat here. They are threatened and blamed. I have rarely seen such a rude person!

I only ordered from Too Good to Go and was very happy with the quality

So we were warmly welcomed and given a table. After a short wait, drinks were ordered and the type of buffet was decided. There is a good selection of food. Soups, side dishes, ready-made meats, fish and meat for the grill which are then freshly prepared. Good selection of sauces, vegetables, sushi. Desserts. Food tasted very good and authentic, not too greasy or oily. The toilets are clean, but the locks are already very worn out and the tap doesn't reach into the sink, which actually makes washing your hands a lot of fun. Paper towel dispenser works as you wish :D Otherwise very satisfied, gladly again!

We waited at reception and no staff came. We left again.

Yesterday, October 10, 24, three of us came to this restaurant at 5:30 p.m. There was no reception at the front, so we just looked around and took a table of our choice. At some point the nice lady can do that too, she was really nice. All good drinks ordered. Then we take plates and off we go to the buffet. 1.Sushi soggy old left in the fridge for too long 2.Duck meat simply warmed up several times until crispy 3.Chicken meat just as crispy as stone. 4. Fetched dessert and ate it Something was probably not good because all three have the same strange problem. because I'll spare you WhatsApp chat. ! Paid €31.90 three times with a €100 tip left behind When we got home, all three of us went to the toilet and had diarrhea Still having stomach problems at 8 p.m. Thank you for everything.

Unfortunately we haven't eaten there yet. However, we have often saved TGTG bags there and so far everything has been extremely good. Both the sushi and the buffet that we were able to try. The owner and his employees were always extremely courteous. I'm looking forward to testing the operation "live" soon. The three of us arrived, were allowed to choose a table and were then completely ignored. At some point we just went to the bar and ordered our drinks there because no one thought it was necessary to serve us. The food was okay. When it comes to a buffet, quality is usually not that important. Still, it's a shame because I know better buffet restaurants in Nuremberg. (Unfortunately they were closed) That's a big advantage about Grand Zhang, it has great opening hours. At the weekend there is also all you can drink at the buffet, which is a bit stupid if you don't get served. All in all, I found the prices far too expensive, the service miserable and the quality of the food inadequate. You can park on the street. I hope my review was helpful.
