The place looks really nice and inviting, unfortunately we only managed to order drinks. I have never been treated so rudely by a waiter ever. Whether it's because they were stressed or something else, I don't know. We chose to get up and go, luckily there are other good restaurants in town.

Mother-in-law wanted to go to Chinese again. We thought of this one because others have closed down in the meantime. The best part was the aquarium and the duck dish! Unfortunately, I only tried that and instead had a boring chicken dish with sprouts and peppers, which I had actually canceled. Service was inattentive (slow) and didn't even ask if we wanted something more to drink. They could have done more business - also by being more friendly. The fish were a hit, the location and atmosphere is also good. Credit card payment is possible. We also received a real invoice directly. There’s one star for that alone!

Been there again for a long time. The ambience and interior design are simply something special, even if they are a bit outdated. Far away from all the Asian buffets, there are really delicious sauces and fresh products here. I love the duck here in all variations. The one star deduction is because of my starter. We had ordered ribs and felt like we only got the ribs without meat. Unfortunately that was nothing. But otherwise great.

The food came quickly and was as expected, but the enjoyment was greatly spoiled by a child who kept screaming loudly. The parents didn't see the need to own the child themselves and the waiter didn't say anything, so we, like all the other guests, hastily ate our food to escape the shouting. The price to pay for the food was then too high....the guests' feel-good factor is unfortunately ignored here

Owner had a bad day. I chose this restaurant mainly out of sheer nostalgia. We love this traditional style. So, after 4 years in Hong Kong, China and Singapore, I was craving real Chinese food with atmosphere to match. In keeping with Chinese custom, I had reserved a table for the two of us in advance at tea time. Since we came straight from the ice-cold Christmas market, we were very excited (especially mine). The awards in the windows boded well. Restaurant: Old school Chinese that you can hardly find anymore - if you like wood and huge aquariums with cichlids, this is the right place for you. Lots of nice tables and large family tables and booths. Small counter where advertising is done at the same time. Toilets clean. Menu: as expected from a good Chinese restaurant, well laid out with a very good selection. I was hoping for a larger selection of dumplings, but of course every store has to adapt to demand. We were generally very happy with our dishes. Authentic in taste. Price performance top. Service: We were there towards the end of November and unfortunately found the owner or manager all alone as a service person. He and only 1 chef tried to handle the a la carte orders as well as the constantly arriving delivery orders as best as they could. Unfortunately, the mood suffered. 2 tables waited over 40 minutes for their orders and therefore simply got up and left. While I found it almost completely rude to simply leave an establishment. Did my partner agree with the behavior: “He’s just too harsh. Something like that just doesn't work. Bad day or not.” So the topic - dinner - was also over. I still think that we are all just human beings who can have a damn bad day.

The food was tasty but nothing special. The atmosphere with the aquarium was very interesting. The staff was rude and took too long to serve us in an almost empty store. I wouldn't go again because of the rudeness of the staff, I can get the same food elsewhere

The restaurant has been open for more than 30 years. The owner is Cantonese, so the dishes are mainly Cantonese cuisine, but there is also Sichuan cuisine. The dishes are pretty good, home-cooked, relatively light and not greasy.

Hatte heute Lust auf chinesisch, Geschäftsreise in Nürnberg, Google und Tripadvisor. Dabei habe ich den Gourmet-Tempel entdeckt. Hatte erst Zweifel, da hier ‚nur‘ 4 Punkte und bei Google ‚nur‘ 4.1. Aber ich wollte ja chinesisch … Das Restaurant ist recht gross, irgendwie typisch chinesisch eingerichtet, aber anders als viele andere. Schonmal wohl gefühlt. Sauer-scharfe Garnelensuppe und scharfe Garnelen als Hauptgang. Und: es war das beste chinesische Essen, das ich je hatte! Auch so schön angerichtet. Beim nächsten Besuch in Nürnberg ein absolutes Muss! Ich bin begeistert!!!

Unfortunately, this one waitress (man with glasses) was so annoyed and unfriendly that I lost my food. Then he had the nerve to ask for tips when paying. When I explained to him that he wouldn't get any tips because of his unfriendliness. He just shrugged his shoulder and grinned stupidly. No apology or other remorse came from him. I therefore cannot recommend the restaurant. I'm annoyed that we didn't leave right away.

The food was delicious. But unfortunately the waitresses are not very friendly. And it takes forever before you can order or pay. I had to wait forever for dessert. (ice cream) over half an hour.

We tried the restaurant with the gourmet block/coupon book. No recommendation from us. In our opinion the food is not good, but it is expensive. In addition, the portions with the voucher book seem to be significantly smaller than normal. The Aperol was a nightmare. The waiter was very unfriendly.

Travel back in time to the 80s..LOTS of great wood carvings...just a PALACE/CHINA..A huge long aquarium is really nice to look at..WALKING DISTANCE to the city and train station..about 7 minutes...RIGHT next to B AND B CITY HOTEL. I had lunch at 11.30...about 2 EURO with a drink...starter soup/dish...was well prepared

The built-in aquarium, full of all kinds of colourful beautiful fish, the massive, wooden carved furniture, featuring dragons and fighters, the elaborate ceiling and the large ceramics, the whole atmosphere is taking you instantly on a trip to the far east. There are a lot of choices on the menu, with meat or vegetables, the food is delicious, the service is friendly and fast, the dishes have reasonable sizes and prices.

Worst restaurant I have ever been to. Service was a mixture of aggressive and disrespectful. Supper as starter had no more flavour than warm water with vegetables in it. Main course unfortunately no better. All three orders were more than below average. Clear recommendation to leave quickly.

Εξαιρετική κουζίνα!Παρόλο που ήταν Σάββατο και δεν είχαμε κράτηση μας εξυπηρέτησαν και το φαγητό ήταν πολύ νόστιμο και το περιβάλλον επίσης πολύ ωραίο. Το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα για το είδος αυτό!!

인테리어가 매우 휘황찬란하고 자리로 안내해주는 스태프도 친절해서 기대가 되었습니다. 딤섬 세트와 오리 플람베를 주문했습니다. 딤섬 세트는 최악이었습니다. 튀긴 교자는 평범했고, 에그롤은 말라 있는 느낌이 났으며 샤오마이는 밀가루 피에 싸여 나와야 할 것 같은데 그런 것도 없었고, 역시 말라 있었습니다. 하가우는 피가 덜 익은 것인지 밀가루 풋내가 났습니다. 오리 플람베가 나오기까지는 매우 오랜 시간이 걸렸습니다. 메뉴 하나를 다 먹어야 다음 메뉴를 준비해주는 것일까요. 자리에서 플람베하는 것을 보여주시는데, 이건 맛있었습니다. 배가 부른 상태였는데도 같이 나온 밥이 계속 들어갔습니다. 요리를 못 하는 건 아닌 것 같은데, 이 날만 딤섬에 뭔가 문제가 있었다고 믿고 싶네요. 서버는 테이블을 둘러보지 않고 빈 테이블을 훔치는 등 뭔가에 항상 바빠 부르기가 힘들며, 불러도 한참 후에야 오고 맥주 하나가 나오는 데도 오랜 시간이 걸립니다. 이건 도저히 팁을 줄 수 없어 안 주겠다고 하자 영수증도 휙 던지고 가는, 끝까지 완벽한 접대였습니다.

Ein optisch sehr ansprechendes Restaurant. Die Getränke und Speisen wurden zeitnah abgefragt und gebracht. Wir waren werktags mittags dort und das Lokal war halb gefüllt. Das Essen war gut und sättigend. Allerdings hat die Bedienung lediglich ihre Arbeit gemacht, zwar gut, aber ohne jede Freundlichkeit. Das trübt etwas den Besuch. Toiletten waren okay. Kinderhochstühle gibt es bei Bedarf auch.

Sehr schönes Lokal. Das Essen ist gut . Auch am Samstag gibt es die Mittagskarte. Auch hier ist das Essen gut und ausreichend.

An unexpected gem in Nuremberg that my friend and I found by chance visiting over the Christmas period. We were impressed by the authenticity of the food (check the back menu if you can read English or Chinese) and felt really happy to have a taste of what we're familiar with at home. Portions were generous and reasonably priced.

Uns wundern die 5 Sterne Rezensionen ja schon etwas. Der Service ist soweit ok, und das Essen ist einfach nur fettig und lahm. Zudem kommt es alles andere als heiß aus der Küche, da bringen die warmhalte Stationen mit ihrem Teelicht halt auch nichts. Das Ambiente mit dem Riesen Aquarium ist aber ganz cool.

Wirklich sehr gutes schmackhaftes Essen Macht auch echt was her, wenn es sogar am Platz mit Flammen serviert wird. Das Aquarium macht echt ein tolles Ambiente Der Service war irgendwie unfreundlich nicht dass uns etwas gesagt wurde aber entweder er hatte ein schlechten Tag oder er wird zum job gezwungen.

Das Ambiente ist der Wahnsinn mit einem riesen Aquarium aber ich würde die Jacke nicht noch einmal ausziehen sondern mir nur das Restaurant ansehen und wieder gehen das Essen war nicht sehr gut.

Das Essen ist wirklich super lecker, Teller und Essen wird auf Warmhalteplatten warm gehalten, das Ambiente mit dem Aquarium und die Einrichtung ist sehr schön. Nur der Service lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig. Das Personal ist zwar freundlich, aber es wird nicht nachgefragt ob alles passt, es noch was sein darf und auf einmal ist das ganze Personal weg und isst zusammen im Restaurant, während Leute auf ihre Bestellung warten(Pausenaufteilung?).. Andere Länder, andere Sitten, aber das geht so nicht..

Schönes Ambiente (für den Ein oder Anderen vielleicht kitschig?), sehr freundliche und schnelle Bedienung, hervorragende Küche.

Der erste Blickfang ist das riesige Aquarium. Das Essen war durchweg gut. Das Personal war freundlich und stets hilfsbereit.

Guten chinesisches Essen im Herzen der Stadt. Kurz vor dem Opernhaus liegt dieser Gourmet Tempel, der deinen Besuch zu etwas besonderem macht. Ansprechendes Interieur, freundliches Personal und gutes Essen machen diesen Ort zu einem Erlebnis. Als Highlight, gibt es ein riesen Aquarium mit großen und kleinen Fischen 🎏.

Habe hier heute mit dem Gutschein gespeist Meine Frau hatte Lemon Chicken dies war etwas süß meine Frau ist Diabetikerin Zucker ist innerhalb einer Stunde auf 300 gestiegen und dieser Wert hielt lange an Ich bestellte Curry Rindfleisch Soße war perfekt Fleisch leider etwas leicht zäh aber gut

War ietzt schon mehrmals hier und wurde noch nie enttäuscht! Es ist immer relativ leer wenn ich da bin, was ich gar nicht verstehe. Essen kommt immer schnell, schmeckt echt lecker und Preis-Leistung top. Für 2 Getränke, Vor- und Nachspeise + Hauptgang (Rindgericht sauer-scharf) 30€ gezahlt. Top :)

Food is tasty and nice decor. The person who served us was polite and welcoming. There are so many choices to pick from. Don't blame them if you picked the wrong thing. I'd come back, if I'm back in Nürnberg.

Da wir heute in Nürnberg unterwegs waren und Chinese immer geht auf den Gourmet Tempel gestoßen. Haben uns für zwei Mittagsmenüs entschieden + Dim Sum. Frühlingsrollen selbst gemacht. Schön fluffig. Dim Sum hätte ich mir gedämpft gewünscht, aber waren auch gebraten gut. Zur Hauptspeise kann ich nur sagen es war reichlich und gut. Lockerer Reis. Sauce reichlich und geschmacklich sehr gut. Ente war schön zart. Preis Leistung absolut in Ordnung. Personal freundlich und aufmerksam. Würde auf jeden Fall wieder hin gehen.

Muss ich nicht unbedingt noch einmal haben! Ente war trocken und Portionen klein!

Lovely restaurant. My Taiwanese wife said the decor was like a five star Chinese hotel. Certainly looked expensive. But the midday meal is very cheap - €11 a head for two courses and a drink.quality of food also excellent . My wife thought that the duck was very well cooked

Bellissimo ristorante cinese tutto in legno internamente e con un grande acquario pieno di pesci cibo ottimo servizio buono e veloce il proprietario è simpatico e alla mano solo una cosa non mi è andata bene il fatto che dovevo per forza lasciare una mancia comunque consiglio il ristorante

Мы прибыли в заведение в первый же день как приехали в Нюрнберг, и первым делом хотели поесть азиатской кухни. Выбор пал на этот ресторан. Увидев цены, мы надеялись что порции будут не маленькие как часто бывает в подобных заведениях или хотя бы достаточно вкусными. Помимо этого мы были очень голодны, но оказалось, что пришлось ждать почти час пока приготовят два блюда - утку с ананасами и лапшу с креветками. Когда попробовали, не поняли почему такая завышенная цена за такое качество и количество. Когда попросили еще порцию утки, официант схватил наше блюдо, куда то унес и вернулся с ним и меню обратно. Мы еще раз повторили, видимо он нас не понял. Мы получили блюдо, но после всего вышеперечисленного остался неприятный осадок. Если вы голодны или хотите недорогой вкусной азиатской кухни, то это не сюда :(

Der Servixe war toll, Speisen sehr gut- für Heiligabend alles top. Tolle Fische im Aquarium. Haben eine Platte mit mehreren Speisen, Vorspeisen und Nachtisch bestellt.

Unhöflich schlechter Service Portionen zu klein für die Preise 3 Stunden mussten wir auf das Essen warten! Die Bedienung hat leere Gläser ignoriert und nicht gefragt ob jemand etwas haben möchte. Bei der Reklamation zwecks der 3 Stunden bekamen wir als Antwort wir hätten ja auch gehen können wenn es uns zu lange dauert….. manchen Gastronomen geht es wohl immer noch zu gut

This was my second visit to the restaurant. The first time I had visited this restaurant was 4 years back and surprisingly it has still maintained the quality of food and service, just like the last time. The interior is richly decorated with wooden architectures and a huge aquarium running along one of the walls of the restaurant, creates a very pleasant atmosphere. On a Friday night it was still not full. We had ordered chicken Chowmeins and Litchi juices and they arrived within 10 minutes. Waiters were also very friendly. The food was also really tasty and the portion was not huge, but enough. Price is not very cheap though. But given the location and it being a big restaurant, price is to some extent justified.

Le gourmet temple ; le temple du gourmet. Et c’est juste ; c’est un très bon restaurant chinois situé à Nuremberg sur une avenue proche de la gare. On y mange très bien, dans un décor atypique chinois. Il y a de bonnes sauces et de bonnes soupes. On y mange très bien. Le très bon chinois reste rare. C’est relativement bon marché.

Den Gourmet Tempel kann ich guten Gewissens empfehlen. Ich bin zu allererst optisch darauf aufmerksam geworden. Es ist sehr hübsch ausgestattet im asiatischen Stil, an der einen Wandseite ist sogar ein großes, langgezogenes Aquarium mit zahlreichen Fischarten, die sehr hübsch anzusehen sind. Ich habe mich entschieden für eine Vorsuppe, dann Curry-Huhn, zu dem Reis serviert wird und als Dessert für gebackene Banane mit Vanilleeis. Alles hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Den Rest von der Hauptspeise konnte ich mir auch einpacken lassen. Preislich finde ich es etwas gehoben, aber angemessen. Ich habe das Essen gut vertragen, wodurch ich auf gute Qualität schließe. Die Karte bietet nach meiner Einschätzung eine gute Auswahl, ist jedoch kein Designhighlight und beinhaltet keine ausgefallenen Gerichte, sondern tendenziell gut Bekanntes. Die Bedienung war freundlich.

Schnelle Bedienung. Karte hat viel Auswahl, aber nichts besonderes zu bieten. Das Essen war gut. Preise sind klein, angemessen für die Menge.

The Gourmet Tempel is a Chinese restaurant in Nurnberg I visit every ten days or so for their lunch menu which runs from11.30 - 14.30hrs Monday thru Saturday. I'm never disappointed. It is a place I take friends, most recently this past week, and they too are never disappointed. There is no place on earth, perhaps other than China itself where you can get this quality duck at their price point. Highly recommended!

Leider war das Restaurant absolut überfüllt. Dementsprechend laut und ungemütlich war es. Die Bedienung war bemüht trotz des Andrangs auf zack zu sein aber wir mussten trotzdem sehr lange auf die Getränke und das Essen warten. Geschmacklich lecker aber ich war froh als wir gezahlt haben. Ich werde dem Restaurant noch eine Chance geben und hoffe es ist das nächste mal nicht so viel los

Аутентичный китайский ресторан, помогает правильно заполнить паузу между поеданием местных сосисок. Утка в соусе хайсин, всевозможная лапша с разными наполнителями и знаменитые китайские первые блюда. Имейте ввиду, что утку по пекински надо заказывать за день. Голодным уйти невозможно - любого блюда хватает минимум на двоих.
