Great restaurant, great food and friendly staff. Gladly again.

The food wasn't anything special and tasted more like a snack bar. The spring roll at the lunch buffet only tasted like dough. The sauce resembled a ready-made gravy. The staff wasn't particularly friendly either.

I read the reviews before I went there and it’s funny how true the reviews are. The rude service mentioned multiple times is absolutely true. The ambience and location makes you expect good food but the food is really basic. It’s like any other Asia Imbiss or takeaway restaurant.

Here you'll find the best spring rolls I've ever eaten, but everything else is also very tasty and at a great price! 👍

really unfriendly and disrespectful staff, first and last time here

It was my first time in this restaurant and the food was really delicious. The portions were large enough and the prices are absolutely reasonable. A small negative point was the staff: Unfortunately, they weren't very attentive and seemed a bit unfriendly, which spoiled the overall impression a little. Nevertheless, I would definitely come back because the food is impressive across the board

Been there again for a long time. The ambience and interior design are simply something special, even if they are a bit outdated. Far away from all the Asian buffets, there are really delicious sauces and fresh products here. I love the duck here in all variations. The one star deduction is because of my starter. We had ordered ribs and felt like we only got the ribs without meat. Unfortunately that was nothing. But otherwise great.

Lukewarm food, portions small and the taste disappointing even with the sweet and sour sauce. As if diluted with a lot of water. No comparison to the quality several years ago. Of course we talked about it on site but it just wasn't of interest. Service wasn't friendly and we had to signal if we wanted more drinks. We are totally disappointed. This was the last attempt here.

Food tastes good but if you come with the gourmet block, the portions are significantly smaller. If you're going to take part in something like this, you should also keep the portion sizes the same!

My wife and I had menu 202, for 2. We liked the spring rolls, and several of the shared dishes; there was no place for dessert and we asked them to pack it up for us. Extreme, Chinese decoration, but done well, with a lot of walls separating the tables. A massive fish tank, with very large fish, maybe too big. All and all, a positive experience.

Buena comida, servicio y ambiente. Permítanme comenzar diciendo que la decoración es fabulosa con un gran acuario que contiene varias especies de peces. Nos sentamos a su lado y nos entretuvimos con los peces que se lanzaban de un lado a otro. Nuestro servidor era excelente y respondió a todas nuestras preguntas para ayudar a reducir nuestra elección de comida de un extenso menú. Finalmente nos decidimos por la combinación para tres, que podría haber alimentado fácilmente a cuatro personas. La comida estaba bien preparada, incluyendo pato frito, crujiente justo en nuestra mesa. Nos fuimos totalmente satisfechos y recomendamos encarecidamente comer aquí. No te decepcionarás.

A nice Chinese restaurant with a large aquarium and good food. However, both the ambience and the food are a bit old fashioned. There are the typical dishes and the typically ornate red and gold decoration. Staff nice and friendly and food is served quickly.

We have been to this restaurant several times, this time with the gourmet block (2 for 1) and were a bit disappointed. The portions were significantly smaller, not enough for the price! The taste was good. Unfortunately the staff is very dull, they don't even ask you if it was tasty. They don't even thank you for tips (which weren't too small). As a guest you would like to experience a little more appreciation.

My visit to the Chinese restaurant was a wonderful culinary experience. The dish I chose – beef with roasted onions – impressed with its balance of flavors and textures. The meat was tender and juicy, and the onions were perfectly fried, giving it a slight sweetness and a pleasant bite. The combination of spicy, savory and slightly caramelized notes was perfectly balanced. The presentation of the dish was also attractive, simple but with attention to detail. It was served steaming, which added to the impression of freshly prepared ingredients. The side dish – classic rice – harmonized perfectly with the strong sauce of the main course. The service was also friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The atmosphere in the restaurant was cozy, with subtle Asian decoration that completed the experience. Overall, the beef with roasted onions was a delight that reflected both the quality of the ingredients and the skills of the kitchen. I will definitely come back to try more dishes.

Personally, I didn't think the food was that good, others are much better, parking nearby was a problem (it's better to take public transport). The service was probably completely overwhelmed. The dishes we ordered came so far apart that my companion had long since finished eating them Eating before I was served. Maybe this was the exception. .

A fantastic culinary delight. The duck is served at the table on a hot plate while it is still sizzling. Plenty of rice and sauces are available and served in separate containers. Told all my buddies about this place ❤️

Ich war mit Freunden dort essen und alle Gerichte waren hervorragend. Es waren dort auch einige chinesische Gäste dort, was vermutlich aufgrund der vielen Varianten an Gerichten und Qualität seine Ursache hat. Wer einmal kein chinesisches Standard Gericht verkosten möchte, ist dort gut aufgehoben. Interessante Fischgerichte gibt es auch zur Auswahl.

The ambience is really nice, except for the aquarium, but that's my personal opinion. Otherwise the food was ok, but I ordered fried noodles with duck, which was €6 more expensive than those with beef, chicken, shrimp, etc.

A very nice restaurant with a selection of Chinese dishes that are not standard dishes that other Chinese restaurants have 👍 I highly recommend the restaurant. Because of the quality, it is also often visited by Chinese guests.

The waitress, a man, was very unfriendly. He had no desire to work. It turned out really soggy like I wanted a dish instead of rice noodles. The food could do with more spice, it was somehow ou. The air is cutting and I felt a bit nauseous from the heat. Don't go there anymore.

The food was just OK, but nothing more. The wontons were dark brown, my husband's food was almost over-salted, my duck was OK. We had to wait almost 1.5 hours for our food, which meant we were late for our movie :-/. The waiters have already worked a lot, but apparently the kitchen couldn't keep up. Then I can accept fewer guests. We won't be coming back!

The food is authentic enough to call it 酒家! The ambience is amazing, the giant fish tank in the back, and the Chinese style woodworking around the restaurant! I’m impressed!

I regularly visited the Nuremberg Toy Fair. We always went to eat here after mass. All I can say is simply great. The big fish always fascinate you ;-)) So definitely worth a visit. The food is also great and the staff is also super nice.

It doesn't fit to heat up with the porcelain plate otherwise it wouldn't be as warm, it slowly gets cold, but with the aluminum plate it stays warm for longer. Other Chinese innkeeper was everything best. Unfortunately. We're never coming back.

Asian-Vietnamese restaurant with a beautiful ambience and interior design worth seeing, with the typically huge aquarium on the eastern wall particularly attracting attention. The quality of the food on offer is good, but not outstanding. The prices are just as reasonable, despite the central location on one of the main traffic axes and near the train station. The inexpensive lunch menus with starter and main course are also highly recommended. The service is extremely polite and the staff is consistent and knows their customers. Overall, a worthwhile visit if you don't have any higher expectations.

The place looks really nice and inviting, unfortunately we only managed to order drinks. I have never been treated so rudely by a waiter ever. Whether it's because they were stressed or something else, I don't know. We chose to get up and go, luckily there are other good restaurants in town.

Mother-in-law wanted to go to Chinese again. We thought of this one because others have closed down in the meantime. The best part was the aquarium and the duck dish! Unfortunately, I only tried that and instead had a boring chicken dish with sprouts and peppers, which I had actually canceled. Service was inattentive (slow) and didn't even ask if we wanted something more to drink. They could have done more business - also by being more friendly. The fish were a hit, the location and atmosphere is also good. Credit card payment is possible. We also received a real invoice directly. There’s one star for that alone!

The food came quickly and was as expected, but the enjoyment was greatly spoiled by a child who kept screaming loudly. The parents didn't see the need to own the child themselves and the waiter didn't say anything, so we, like all the other guests, hastily ate our food to escape the shouting. Owner had a bad day. I chose this restaurant mainly out of sheer nostalgia. We love this traditional style. So, after 4 years in Hong Kong, China and Singapore, I was craving real Chinese food with atmosphere to match. In keeping with Chinese custom, I had reserved a table for the two of us in advance at tea time. Since we came straight from the ice-cold Christmas market, we were very excited (especially mine). The awards in the windows boded well. Restaurant: Old school Chinese that you can hardly find anymore - if you like wood and huge aquariums with cichlids, this is the right place for you. Lots of nice tables and large family tables and booths. Small counter where advertising is done at the same time. Toilets clean. Menu: as expected from a good Chinese restaurant, well laid out with a very good selection. I was hoping for a larger selection of dumplings, but of course every store has to adapt to demand. We were generally very happy with our dishes. Authentic in taste. Price performance top. Service: We were there towards the end of November and unfortunately found the owner or manager all alone as a service person. He and only 1 chef tried to handle the a la carte orders as well as the constantly arriving delivery orders as best as they could. Unfortunately, the mood suffered. 2 tables waited over 40 minutes for their orders and therefore simply got up and left. While I found it almost completely rude to simply leave an establishment. Did my partner agree with the behavior: “He’s just too harsh. Something like that just doesn't work. Bad day or not.” So the topic - dinner - was also over. I still think that we are all just human beings who can have a damn bad day.

Hatte heute Lust auf chinesisch, Geschäftsreise in Nürnberg, Google und Tripadvisor. Dabei habe ich den Gourmet-Tempel entdeckt. Hatte erst Zweifel, da hier ‚nur‘ 4 Punkte und bei Google ‚nur‘ 4.1. Aber ich wollte ja chinesisch … Das Restaurant ist recht gross, irgendwie typisch chinesisch eingerichtet, aber anders als viele andere. Schonmal wohl gefühlt. Sauer-scharfe Garnelensuppe und scharfe Garnelen als Hauptgang. Und: es war das beste chinesische Essen, das ich je hatte! Auch so schön angerichtet. Beim nächsten Besuch in Nürnberg ein absolutes Muss! Ich bin begeistert!!!

Unfortunately, this one waitress (man with glasses) was so annoyed and unfriendly that I lost my food. Then he had the nerve to ask for tips when paying. When I explained to him that he wouldn't get any tips because of his unfriendliness. He just shrugged his shoulder and grinned stupidly. No apology or other remorse came from him. I therefore cannot recommend the restaurant. I'm annoyed that we didn't leave right away.

We tried the restaurant with the gourmet block/coupon book. No recommendation from us. In our opinion the food is not good, but it is expensive. In addition, the portions with the voucher book seem to be significantly smaller than normal. The Aperol was a nightmare. The waiter was very unfriendly.

Travel back in time to the 80s..LOTS of great wood carvings...just a PALACE/CHINA..A huge long aquarium is really nice to look at..WALKING DISTANCE to the city and train station..about 7 minutes...RIGHT next to B AND B CITY HOTEL. I had lunch at 11.30...about 2 EURO with a drink...starter soup/dish...was well prepared

The built-in aquarium, full of all kinds of colourful beautiful fish, the massive, wooden carved furniture, featuring dragons and fighters, the elaborate ceiling and the large ceramics, the whole atmosphere is taking you instantly on a trip to the far east. There are a lot of choices on the menu, with meat or vegetables, the food is delicious, the service is friendly and fast, the dishes have reasonable sizes and prices.

Worst restaurant I have ever been to. Service was a mixture of aggressive and disrespectful. Supper as starter had no more flavour than warm water with vegetables in it. Main course unfortunately no better. All three orders were more than below average. Clear recommendation to leave quickly.

Although the restaurant was very full, we got a table after a short wait. You could tell that the staff was stressed, but they were friendly and we didn't have to wait long for drinks and food. The food was good, the vegetables were still crunchy, but there was no kick. The beef with lemongrass unfortunately didn't taste like lemongrass.

Please do yourself a favor and never eat here. rude staff. slow service. Don't waste your time here.

인테리어가 매우 휘황찬란하고 자리로 안내해주는 스태프도 친절해서 기대가 되었습니다. 딤섬 세트와 오리 플람베를 주문했습니다. 딤섬 세트는 최악이었습니다. 튀긴 교자는 평범했고, 에그롤은 말라 있는 느낌이 났으며 샤오마이는 밀가루 피에 싸여 나와야 할 것 같은데 그런 것도 없었고, 역시 말라 있었습니다. 하가우는 피가 덜 익은 것인지 밀가루 풋내가 났습니다. 오리 플람베가 나오기까지는 매우 오랜 시간이 걸렸습니다. 메뉴 하나를 다 먹어야 다음 메뉴를 준비해주는 것일까요. 자리에서 플람베하는 것을 보여주시는데, 이건 맛있었습니다. 배가 부른 상태였는데도 같이 나온 밥이 계속 들어갔습니다. 요리를 못 하는 건 아닌 것 같은데, 이 날만 딤섬에 뭔가 문제가 있었다고 믿고 싶네요. 서버는 테이블을 둘러보지 않고 빈 테이블을 훔치는 등 뭔가에 항상 바빠 부르기가 힘들며, 불러도 한참 후에야 오고 맥주 하나가 나오는 데도 오랜 시간이 걸립니다. 이건 도저히 팁을 줄 수 없어 안 주겠다고 하자 영수증도 휙 던지고 가는, 끝까지 완벽한 접대였습니다.

Ein optisch sehr ansprechendes Restaurant. Die Getränke und Speisen wurden zeitnah abgefragt und gebracht. Wir waren werktags mittags dort und das Lokal war halb gefüllt. Das Essen war gut und sättigend. Allerdings hat die Bedienung lediglich ihre Arbeit gemacht, zwar gut, aber ohne jede Freundlichkeit. Das trübt etwas den Besuch. Toiletten waren okay. Kinderhochstühle gibt es bei Bedarf auch.

Sehr schönes Lokal. Das Essen ist gut . Auch am Samstag gibt es die Mittagskarte. Auch hier ist das Essen gut und ausreichend.

An unexpected gem in Nuremberg that my friend and I found by chance visiting over the Christmas period. We were impressed by the authenticity of the food (check the back menu if you can read English or Chinese) and felt really happy to have a taste of what we're familiar with at home. Portions were generous and reasonably priced.
