I've been there more often... there used to be really good staff there... now there's staff there who can barely speak any German, you just want to order in peace, but they don't understand a word of it. But otherwise the cocktails and the food are really good! However, the doors from the smoking area to the non-smoking area are not closed, which is not a good thing because the smell immediately gives me a headache, and a friend of mine who was allergic to cigarette smoke... that could really be improved.

It was my second visit today and I wasn't disappointed again. The staff is very friendly, attentive and the food (Caesar salad) was very tasty. Unreservedly recommended!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

0 out of 5 stars We sat at the table for 25 minutes and didn't even get a menu, the young man who works there looked at us several times and still didn't come, and unfortunately that's not the first time.

The service is terrible and the food is nothing special. For just under €5 you can get 50 grams of nachos from the discount store with already dried cheese sauce.

I ordered tuna pasta (penne tonno) there. And I had food poisoning afterwards... I don't know under what circumstances the fish was kept but that was definitely the last visit to Verace...

Holsteiner schnitzel and kebab plate: meat ok, fries almost cold and not cooked through = soggy. Service arrived in 1.5 hours. Didn't even smile = super unfriendly. Result: Not a 1 cent tip. You can also close with the staff.

Had ordered 4 blinds (had them delivered) and they were missing Completely sauce and you only have dough it didn't taste good

Ordered food beforehand, first it comes too late, then you open the first packaging and the chili-cheese sauce is missing from the "chili-cheese fries" and when you try to call to clarify it, you're constantly busy for more than 40 minutes. ^^

We had dinner there once on a Sunday lunch. We waited for about an hour and then left because the waitress saw us but didn't serve us. The service and attitude towards guests was terrible. The courts are not worth the money; I ate there and didn't like it at all. Another time we were there an hour before closing time, but they wouldn't serve us. We were told that the guests would finish watching the football game and then the restaurant would close.

Burgers were good. The atmosphere becomes restless when football is on the screen.

It was moderately busy and we waited almost an hour for the lukewarm food. The tables that arrived half an hour after us received their ordered food before us. After initially ordering drinks, no condition came for 2 hours and asked for further orders. In addition, the door to the smoking room and outside was permanently open and it smelled of cigarettes. However, the ambience was very nice! Therefore 3 stars. We will definitely try it again with you.

We came here spontaneously and got a place. It is quite nicely decorated and the staff is very nice. When we're nearby we'll come back.

Ordered online on May 20, 2024 at 6:08 p.m. via the company's own app. The delivery was over 30 minutes late, cold and wrong. Called the restaurant directly and was told there would be a call back because the only system operator wasn't there at the moment. But I was assured that a call back would be made. Called again after 15 minutes as there was no call back. Unfortunately the same thing again. No problem solving and apparently poor staff planning when the only online tool operator is not there. And that for more than an hour at peak time. Update 8:09 p.m. still no callback and the phone is no longer picked up. NO RECOMMENDATION Update from September 28, 2024 Ordered again via the in-house app. One hour delivery time stated. We've been waiting for 80 minutes now. Excuse here: it's always busy on the weekend. I question personnel planning when something like this is known. The app should also definitely be revised if you can maintain your own delivery times. Especially the advertised time!

I would like to express my disappointment about my visit to [restaurant name]. Unfortunately, my experience there was anything but satisfactory. First of all, the service was extremely unprofessional and inattentive. The waiters seemed uninterested and unfriendly, which made the entire experience unpleasant. The wait for our food was far too long, even though the restaurant wasn't particularly busy. The meal itself was a disappointment. The dishes were carelessly prepared and tasted far below what you would expect from a restaurant in this price range. The ingredients didn't seem fresh and some dishes were almost inedible. The cleanliness also left a lot to be desired. The table was sticky and the glasses were stained. The entire atmosphere seemed unkempt and uninviting. In summary, I cannot recommend Grand Verace at all. There are many other places in the area that offer better service, fresher food and a more pleasant ambience.

Not very clean And girls in service, you can still improve a lot

Today I ordered two kebabs and a fries for my mother-in-law and my little sister-in-law at half past 9. When the food arrived (of course late) it was a disaster. Meat was hard to find (if you could call it that) the salad looked like it was Yesterday there were brown spots everywhere. We will never order there again, it's a waste of our money or, better said, we could just throw it in the trash.

When I sat down on the terrace I wasn't really expecting anything serious, but I was pleasantly surprised. The sweet potato and burgers were excellent. The restaurant is not expensive, but I can still recommend it based on the quality of the food.

The food we ordered was driven for over an hour to make other deliveries (journey time to us was actually a maximum of 15 minutes). So of course our food was completely cold, soggy and inedible. You then pay an extra €5 for delivery. Absolute impudence.

I showed up there with my partner on June 29th, 2024 at around 6:05 p.m. and we sat down at a table without a reservation. At the time there were around 40 people in the restaurant and 5 service staff. After we waited about 15 minutes, I went to the counter and interrupted the conversation between the service staff. When one of the staff came to our table, a new guest came along and asked him if he could reserve the table we were sitting at in 1-2 hours. Of course the waitress confirmed the reservation without even speaking to us. I asked both of them briefly what would happen if I stayed longer. The service staff and the guest were of course completely overwhelmed. Actually, we should have gotten up and left by now! However, we ordered drinks and some food. The quality of the burger and the salad was okay, but they probably didn't pose a challenge. After us, 4 couples came to the restaurant and, strangely enough, everyone got their food before us. After an hour, I took the liberty of making another service person aware of the long time. It was then explained to me that something didn't go so well, but that I shouldn't get upset about it, and that I shouldn't talk so loudly and I almost had the impression that it was my fault as a customer. I took a further look at the activities of this “amateur troupe”. A lot of empty distances are covered, and people often don't use a tablet, but instead touch the glass on the top of the bike and bring it to the table. A style that I am very allergic to. As a guest, you want me to drink from the rim of the glass where another person has been grabbing with your fingers? What are the tablets for if I don't use them? My conclusion: The food and drinks were good, the service staff I had contact with was terrible.

The staff do not have the slightest knowledge of dealing with customers, especially the long-haired waiter, and it seems that the number of staff is not enough. I don't advise anyone to enter this place they call a restaurant.

The service would actually get a minus, but unfortunately it just doesn't work. The staff just looks around or is busy talking. Very rarely checks on the guests, which means there are very long waiting times for drinks. Unfortunately there is no question about a second drink. There is zero organization. Great food and the cocktails (when you finally get an order they are great).

If you feel like waiting 2 hours then this is the right one

We had booked a table at 6 p.m. We arrived on time - there was nothing going on in the restaurant yet. All guests who arrived after us were served first and received their food quickly. We have now been waiting for our food for over an hour. The service justifies the waiting time with the numerous guests.

We ordered a black nana shisha and got love66. When we pointed this out to the staff, they spoke to us unreasonably and no solution was found. Our request to try it ourselves was also not responded to. Coal is not added either. Very disappointing because the MIG shishas and the ks appo mehrloch are quite good. The ipanemas tasted like passion fruit juice and passion fruit juice with a little cane sugar and were therefore not convincing. Music was way too loud after 11 p.m. If this is how customers are treated, we certainly won't be coming back - it's a shame about the actually great atmosphere

Great location to sit, eat, chat in a good atmosphere.

Musik war etwas zu laut. Man musste sich anschreien damit man sich Verstehen konnte. Es gibt kein Ruf Knopf oder ähnliches für das Personal. Bei anderen gibt es Lampen die kann umdreht. Aufgrund von schlechter Lüftung müssten die Mitarbeiter immer Mal wieder das Fenster öffnen, weshalb es kalt wurde.

Ich habe dort mit Familie essen bestellt! Ging ganz gut runter, aber am nächsten Tag, habe ich durch den Durchfall, so viel Flüssigkeit verloren, dass ich 4l Wasser am Tag trinken musste.

Das letzte mal, dass ich da war, haben wir 40 Minuten auf die Karten gewartet. Danach wurden wir erst gefragt, was wir essen möchten, nachdem ich an die Theke gegangen bin. Das Essen hat dann nochmal 40 min gedauert, wobei dieses mehr aus Pfeffer bestand als aus Burger. Hierbei möchte ich beifügen, dass nur etwa 10 Gäste anwesend waren. Also kann es sicherlich nicht am Stress liegen...

Mein Lieblings Cafe/Restaurant Ich liebe es mich hier zu entspannen. Die Getränke sind immer gut und das Essen ist sehr lecker. Auch das Personal ist immer freundlich und aufmerksam.

Ganz nett. Aktualisierung Okt. 2023. Schlechter Service ziemlich nachgelassen ich weiß nicht was passiert es in der Zwischenzeit aber minderwertige Qualität der Getränke und schlechter Service. Sehr gesprungenes Glas. Das alte Getränk in ein neues Glas gekippt. Viel zu lange auf die Getränke gewartet. Sollten eigentlich vor ab kommen und nicht mit den Speisen es war nichts los im Laden an lernen sollte zweite Priorität sein und quatschen auch. Es sollte was passieren. Ganz nett aber unprofessionell. Die Speisen haben auch sehr sehr sehr nachgelassen.

Mega entspannte Location und essen ist gut.

Alles tiptop,Essen schmeckt gut,Getränke & Cocktails auch lecker. Ambiente ist auch sehenswert und man kann gut Ort verweilen oder auch bei Veranstaltungen gut feiern.

Ich habe eine Stunde auf einen Avocado Salat gewartet der dann kaum Avocado enthiet- in erster Linie grüner Salat, ein kleines Stück altes Brot und dazu noch eine Rhabarber Schorle die schlecht war. Trotz meiner Anmerkung würde der :volle Preis abgerechnet. Das war mein letzter Besuch!

I don't understand why I received an open drink on delivery

Essen 3/10 Getränke (Cocktails) 2/10 Bedienung 2/10 In den letzten Jahren leider sehr sehr schlecht geworden. Fazit: ich werde den Laden nicht mehr besuchen.

Schönes Stillvolles Lokal, mit liebe im Detail gemacht, leider Sitzplätze nicht so gut aufgeteilt und irgendwie nicht durchorganisiert. Sobald man ins Lokal kommt wird einem eine Karte in die Hand gedrückt ohne das man einen Platz gefunden hat, aber sonst freundlich. Man kann auch draußen an der Soeste sitzen. Auf jeden Fall gute Lage. Leckere Cocktails.

Das Essen war sehr gut. Das Ambiente hat uns auch gut gefallen. Ein bisschen hats am Service gemangelt, obwohl nicht viel los war, musste man lange auf die Bedienung warten und dann als mehrere keine Getränke mehr hatten musste man auch mehrfach auf sich aufmerksam machen, dass man noch etwas möchte. Zum bezahlen sind wir dann auch zur Theke gegangen, da keine Bedienung kam...

Sehr schlechte Service, man wartet sehr lange bis man bedient wird auch wenn der Laden sogut wie leer ist !

Habe bestellt und wurde 120 Minuten ignoriert

War schon das ein oder andere mal da. Selbst, wenn der Laden so gut wie leer war, kam ewig lang niemand an den Tisch. Wenn die Bestellung dann aufgenommen wurde, dauerte es nochmal ewig, bis das Essen/die Getränke dann kamen. Es kam danach auch keine Bedienung mehr an den Tisch, um nach weiteren Getränken o.Ä. zu fragen, sodass wir auch zum Zahlen selbstständig zur Kasse gehen mussten, weil uns sonst niemand bemerkt hätte. Sehr schade, da das Essen und die Cocktails wirklich lecker sind und das Ambiente sehr schön.
