Really enjoyed the food, you order food by tablet, and gets delivered really quick! For a reasonable price of 33 euros for 2 hours, is it tasty and enjoyable.

We were here for dinner, received a friendly welcome, and were shown to our reserved table. The ordering concept via tablet was explained. Five dishes can be selected per order and person. The next order can then be placed after 15 minutes. The food arrived relatively quickly, but only individual plates were served. For a group of seven people, we found this very uncomfortable, hectic, and confusing, as everything was simply placed in the middle of the table, making it difficult to identify who ordered what. The food was mostly very good, including the sushi. We were only disappointed with the dessert, and we would have expected something better. The room was quite large, windowless on three sides, painted darkly, and almost packed. The background noise was very loud, making it difficult to understand the person speaking. The service was friendly but seemed very stressed and at times overwhelmed. We felt the price of approximately €35 per person was too high for the overall package.

A restaurant worth visiting for sushi and maki fans. Orders are placed using a points system on a tablet every few minutes, and then served to your table. If you'd like more choice, ask the waiter for the dinner menu, even if you're there at lunchtime. 🍣

The quality is consistent every time we go with friends; this restaurant remains a safe bet. Orders are placed in turns on a tablet. Each guest lists 5 dishes to order each time, and everyone takes what they want. The dishes then arrive one after the other, and the next turn is unlocked within 15 minutes to order again. This allows each guest to order 5 different dishes, and if necessary, you can try to pass the dish to one of your friends at the table, making them think it was them who ordered it :-) It's best to make a reservation; it's usually full, but you can still chat. The staff is great, as is the atmosphere.

Super delicious and super friendly staff, I'd love to come back again! The food always arrives promptly, and everything is super easy to use. What I really appreciate is that our reservation request was perfectly accommodated; we had a quiet and beautiful spot, just as we had hoped.

The food was good. The ordering system is too hectic for me, and eating in "rounds" where everything comes in a random order isn't my cup of tea. The restaurant was busy, which might have been the reason. It was also very noisy. The waiters bustle around you and place your food somewhere on the table; with several people, you have to keep track of who's ordered what and how often. All in all, not a concept for me. €34 plus drinks for all-you-can-eat in rounds.

wouldn't recommend. was expecting higher quality for 35 euro a person not including drinks. most food arrived barely warm, which i figured would be a benefit of the system that they have setup where you have to order each dish that you want that it would at least all be very fresh but that's not the case. most of the warm, side, and special dishes were of lower quality than at significantly cheaper buffets. the sushi and fish are good quality, so if you only eat that maybe it is worth it. place also feels a bit crammed and noisy

My food has always tasted very good. Good value for money. Ambience good, but can be quite loud. Service staff are sometimes “unfriendly”. A lady likes to slam the plates onto the table roughly and carelessly.

Accustomed to Asian all-you-can-eat restaurants, we wanted to try a new establishment. In short, my experience is quite mixed. To explain my rating, I will give you my opinion in 3 points and present the context. For context, we came Saturday evening for my wife's birthday, three people. The kitchen The food was good and there were quite a few dishes that were out of the ordinary, options that you don't usually find in other restaurants of the same style. The service There was only one person speaking French, which is not necessarily a problem. However, the tablet and the ordering software were poorly translated into French, making it difficult to understand what we were going to eat. Regarding speed, the service was a little slow overall, with around 5-7 minutes of waiting per "round". The servers were friendly, polite and courteous, so nothing to report on that front. We waited almost 30 minutes for the ice cream, which is a shame, especially knowing that the scoops are prepared in advance. But an oversight can happen quickly, or a purchase order can get lost, so it's not that serious, just unfortunate. The atmosphere We are in a restaurant where we feel good. The atmosphere with dimmed lights is pleasant, the chairs and tables are comfortable. As for the cleanliness of the room and toilets, there was nothing to complain about. Good to know: there is no cutlery except for desserts, otherwise it's baguettes only, so you have to practice 😁 (perhaps by asking, it would have been possible, but not speaking French, we didn't dare to ask). The major problem of the evening, which for me will mean that I will not go back there again: we had it for €118.70 for 3 with a drink each. When paying, we indicated that we wanted to simply divide by 3, and that I would pay 2 parts while my friend would pay the remaining part. The waiter tells me 40€ and asks me if it's good, I tell him yes. So he made me pay 2×40€, or 80€, and he made my friend pay 40€. We therefore paid 120€ instead of 118.70€. The problem is not the €1.30 extra, but rather the fact of not paying what we really owed, but in a roundabout way a little more. I wonder if this is a regular practice, because €2 multiplied by 50 or 100 tables represents a considerable amount per day and even more per month. In conclusion, the experience was not so negative, even rather positive: the food is good, the service was decent although a little slow, and the cleanliness of the restaurant seemed impeccable to me. However, at the end, when it came time to check out, paying more than expected really turned me off and totally deterred me from going back in the future.

Unfortunately, the table-side preparation is no longer up-to-date, as it was in the early days. Ordering is now done via tablets, as in many Asian restaurants. You may or may not like that. However, the selection of sushi variations is good and highly recommended for its taste.

Sometimes like this; sometimes like that. Often good. You still need a concept for young people. My daughter can't eat that much, but she still pays the full price.

Very busy but still always nice

I refuse to sanction this establishment with a “hater” rating. Not everything is great BUT the quality of the grill seemed excellent to me, really. The sushi was messy and even unbalanced for me. In summary we found that overall it was "stingy" style in terms of food, and expensive on the menu. I salute the pace of the service, and their efficiency.

You want to quickly eat some sushi during your lunch break, so you go to this restaurant and come across a tablet system again... well, not a problem in itself... BUT if there are two of you here who are fairly hungry, only 5 each If you can order parts and then have to wait 10:00 minutes every time, you sit here for quite a long time. From a business perspective it's definitely a good idea - but if you have to sit here for an hour to get your fill at some point... The quality of the food is rather below average, the service is attentive and just brings the plates to the table 🤷🏼 25€ for a tablet with a friend is so high that next time we will dine again with the competition near the Ministry of Culture.

Review for Grand Asia We were guests at Grand Asia yesterday and unfortunately found that the quality of the food this time did not meet the usual standard. If you were to only rate yesterday's food, unfortunately it would only be 2 stars. The hot dishes were all cold except for one, including the sweet potatoes, which were completely cold and had probably been out of the deep fryer for a long time. The way it was served wasn't as usual either. The duck wasn't served in nice slices, but came to the plate in a torn, cold heap - which was very disappointing. The restaurant wasn't very busy and our food came very quickly after we ordered, but unfortunately this wasn't reflected in the quality. Another point is the parking lot: Depending on the day and time, the parking situation can be difficult, but yesterday we were lucky. Unfortunately it was very loud in the restaurant itself, which made the meal less pleasant. A bright spot was the service, which was consistently friendly, attentive and accommodating - for that it undoubtedly deserves 5 stars. All in all, it can be said that our expectations for the price (around 40 euros with a drink per person) were not met this time. We hope that things will get better on the next visit, because with increasing competition it will be crucial to maintain the usual level over the long term.

Hello dear people, You've probably already read my review of the Passage-Kino cinema: afterwards I went out to dinner with my wife Irmagard, after all it was our anniversary. I wanted to introduce my wife to Asian cuisine and what could be better than a shop that is already called Greater Asia (i.e. China)! So we went into the living room and were greeted warmly. Of course I reserved great seats for us since there was already a large crowd there. The waitress quickly handed us a board and explained everything to us calmly before we really feasted on it. We nibbled our way through the menu (dinner menu) bite after bite and I really have to say, I was happy to have thrown in a pantoprazole in the morning! I haven't eaten so much fish since my time on the North Sea. But don't let yourself be deceived: it's not just quantity but also class that characterizes the restaurant! Everything was cooked to perfection and really tasty! Here we come again! So all I can do is thank the city for a great anniversary! Your Walter

The food was really good in terms of taste. We never had to wait long for the food to be served. Unfortunately, the service is not so professional in some aspects, so the empty plate was taken away from us and we didn't even eat the food on the chopsticks. Then the main plate was taken away, with the chopsticks still on it. We didn't get any new ones...it's a shame because of the service but we would come back for the food. Price performance is okay.

We have eaten at Grand Asia Sushi several times now. I have to agree with some of the recessions. It is very loud in the restaurant. That actually doesn't have much to do with being comfortable, quiet and enjoying yourself. However, we think the sushi is really tasty. Unfortunately I have to leave one negative point about our last visit. We were in the restaurant with 5 people. After we ordered drinks and a round of sushi, we had to leave the restaurant quickly because our baby suffers from epilepsy and had a bad seizure that evening. We were charged for the complete all you can eat. We paid €200 for 5 soft drinks and a round of sushi. I was actually a little disappointed. I think you should accommodate the customer in such situations. I would have thought it fair to make an exception and only charge us for what was actually ordered. I just don't think it's right to take advantage of the situation and collect all the money. Additionally, we were not offered any help. It wasn't asked if help was needed, it wasn't asked if we needed an ambulance or anything else. Sad. I understand that an employee cannot make such decisions. But as an employee you could perhaps have spoken to the boss.

We spent an interesting evening. However, the quality of the food has deteriorated. There was a very uneasy atmosphere.

If I have to order my food via a tablet and then have to pay 35 euros, that is very expensive. It's better not to do that if you want to have a nice evening and don't just want to spend time on your tablet.

I expected much better! We stumbled upon it on a Saturday evening. The food is good without being excellent. The plates of fried noodles, rice and even certain meat dishes were served to us lukewarm, on the verge of being cold. Quantities are quite limited; for example a “Guy Fireniku” beef fillet was served to us with only 4 small pieces of meat on the plate. The idea of ​​ordering by tablet is quite interesting but there are not enough details on the dishes chosen. The staff is pleasant but the service is quite slow. Some dishes ordered at the start of the meal were served to us almost at the end. At €82 for 2 people with drinks, we expect something more substantial. Overall quite disappointed with our experience.

I enjoyed being there. Service was nice and tried hard. Management, on the other hand, was unprofessional. We had reserved a table at the window and it was confirmed twice. Arrived and everything was occupied. Instead of an apology, we were practically blamed and told we were unlucky and had to come earlier. Very poor quality and unfriendly staff. I've never had such a bad meal in a sushi restaurant. Warm plates are served cold (fried and edamame), fish is almost indistinguishable in the sushi. Color of the fish not particularly inviting. Price is way too overpriced, EUR 81.50 for two people. NOT recommended.

It's too expensive for 2 people, €80, a disaster

We've eaten there several times, the staff is very friendly, the food was good. However, it is very loud.

Now here for the 5th time: Very nice staff @ Food is ordered with a tray. 5 parts every 10 minutes. Everything we tested was always good! We will always come back Even people in wheelchairs can now get into the restaurant easily. Unfortunately there are toilets in the basement. .

I had dinner today and it was the worst ever. They have let up a lot. Food is no longer of quality. We have cold udon noodle with sauce on it without frying in the pan. Chicken was sold out and they didn't let us know if we hadn't asked we would only have 2-3. I just kept ordering and nothing arrived. The waitress just said if something didn't arrive hot it was sold out. The ordering time has also increased instead of 10 minutes. It is now 15 minutes and it takes an incredibly long time until you can order again. When we only wanted to order a small dessert and didn't want to wait another 10 minutes, we asked the service if we could have 2x ice cream and 1x greasier Oreo. The service said it doesn't work, so you have to wait for the iPad until you can order again for the next round. And then the waitress said that they can only give ice cream like that, but only EXCEPTIONALLY!!!! As if I were eating at her place for free!!! And last but not least, you can only order ice cream once!! The limit has been reached. This is new for me too. That no longer means ALL YOU CAN EAT!!

The service is always courteous and friendly and clears the empty dishes from the table in a timely manner. The ambience is modern and simple and fits well into the atmosphere. I don't think it's too loud, normal restaurant volume. The food tastes delicious and the fish is fresh, the only drawback is that the crunchy sushis are not freshly prepared but are fried beforehand and then they just lie around until they are ordered, which is why they are rather chewy on the outside instead of crunchy. If this problem could be solved then 5/5 so unfortunately only 4/5. Is worth a visit!

The food is brought to you, it's more like an Asian fast food shop in terms of taste and service... The quality can't be particularly good if you have to hide everything under strange sauces like mayo etc. Price performance is not right, it is simply too expensive for the quality. In any case, you will be full.... We would have preferred quality instead of quantity.

Getting worse. Sushis are not fresh, raw salmon looks like it has been left warm for hours. Crunchy rolls are NEVER crunchy but cold and disgusting. As loud as in a bar, it's no fun anymore. It's becoming more and more expensive and the quality is getting worse. There are better shops in Saarbrücken.

Tonight I was there again more by chance and due to an unusual concert. The restaurant was full, as always on the weekend, but given the current prices, this in no way diminishes the quality. Unfortunately, the quality of the food today was bottom drawer. The sushi fell apart on the serving plate or platter. All of the “rolls” were wrapped far too loosely. Eating with chopsticks became torture. Everything fried, whether mushrooms, vegetables or meat, was still in the fat on the serving platter. Accordingly, the taste was simply to die for. For just under €100 for 2 people including drinks, I can eat something much more tasty in a restaurant including a starter, desert and drinks. We will think twice about carrying our money here again from now on. It's actually a shame given the many visits we've had over the last 10 years. When paying the bill and asking whether everything was OK, today's conclusion was also communicated. The really nice service person asked us to give us a coffee or a schnapps as a gift, which we declined. Really a shame...

The price-saving character runs through the entire meal. The rice for sushi has doubled over the years while the fish is only half as much. When I order a nigiri, I feel like I have a lot of rice to fill me up as quickly as possible. Far from good sushi. The roles themselves are getting smaller and smaller. With many portions, for example the salmon nigiri with avocado, 2 pieces only became 1. Fruit is almost always empty at a later time. Ice cream either frozen or half melted. Shrimp kebabs arrive at the table ice cold etc I would also pay 50 euros if I got top-notch sushi as it should be and not a rice bomb with a hint of fish. We have been there regularly for over 7 years, but that was probably the last time.

We recently dined at this restaurant which has a 2 hour service system for each guest. However, our experience only lasted 1 hour and 10 minutes, which felt sufficient for a restaurant visit. At the start we were told we could order five dishes every 15 minutes and everything seemed promising. Unfortunately, the portions were extremely small—one piece of sushi per plate, for example—so it was necessary to order multiple rounds. This system diminishes the dining experience because instead of relaxing and enjoying the food, you have to constantly focus on what to order next. We managed to order only three rounds within the allotted time and then the system wouldn't allow any further orders. Additionally, the dishes weren't served quickly or together, which resulted in long waits between each piece—like a 5-minute wait for a single piece of nigiri. Overall the experience was disappointing. The cost of 35 euros per person, excluding drinks, seemed excessive for the small amount of food. We left the restaurant after an hour still hungry and had spent 90 euros on food and drinks. This restaurant's service model and portion sizes do not justify the high prices. I cannot recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a satisfying and relaxing meal.
