Very tasty food and great service. Definitely not the last visit.

A very nice experience at the restaurant, the staff was very friendly, and even though we didn’t have a reservation, they found us a table. The ambiance is very pleasant. Now for the most important part: we ordered Udon XÀO and the sushi mix menu for the main course, gyoza for the appetizer, and mochi ice cream (waitress's recommendation) and Kasutera for dessert. The food is very tasty, and you definitely won’t go wrong if you choose this restaurant. However, what I have to say, based on my taste and what I’m used to, is that the noodles were perhaps a bit overcooked, but this doesn’t affect my overall rating. Also, it's not the best sushi in town, but certainly one of the best. The dessert was very delicious, and what I would recommend to everyone is to order these two desserts together and try them in combination – very, very tasty.

The service was unfriendly and added a tip to the bill. I like to give tips, but you should ask beforehand whether it is okay for the customer or whether it should come from the customer themselves. The food was ok, but as I said, unfriendly staff, wouldn't come again.

Gorenshi is perhaps the second best sushi restaurant in Frankfurt after Moriki. The quality is consistently great. The location at the end of Europa-Allee is of course not ideal and the ambience could be a little nicer. But the food is absolutely top. A must-see (secret) address for sushi lovers.

We were there with 6 people, including 3 children. Everyone enjoyed the food and drinks. Unfortunately, the bad-tempered and impatient table service had a negative impact on the overall experience. What a shame! Dear owners of Gorenshi, please pay attention to the fact that several reviews contain references to an unfriendly waitress and respond to them! Thanks!

Were there at 9:28 p.m., two minutes before you have to place the last order according to them. We went there specifically and were fobbed off with a cold shrug of the shoulders and the words that the kitchen was closed. We've been there several times, you've lost us as customers, we'll never come back and we hope you go bankrupt.

The food was very tasty and the menu offers great other dishes in addition to sushi. Unfortunately, we didn't have much luck with the service and the service we received was rather annoyed and not very friendly. It definitely depends on the service staff.

We were in the area spontaneously and simply googled what there was in the area and then found the Gorenshi. There were 8 of us and everything went smoothly. Great service, very friendly, incredibly delicious! Definitely one of the best Asian restaurants we've ever eaten at and not expensive either! Absolutely recommended!

Two people ordered three menu items and the staff double-checked them. Because it was raining, I thought the noodles were soup noodles and ordered them, but they turned out to be stir-fried noodles. The fried noodles were a little salty, but after adding a little hot water, they were seasoned well and had a lot of fiery flavor, so it was delicious. The salmon avocado roll was clean and delicious. The rest of the rice menu was okay. Overeating for the first time in a while.

One of the best sushi shops in Frankfurt. The prices are quite sporty but in my opinion appropriate for the quality. Reservation is strongly recommended. The ambience and the quality of the service fit the bill and make the restaurant a recommendation.

We've been here several times, the last time this year for Valentine's Day (of course it was packed). Really top quality sushi, especially the nigiri, which can be ordered individually (2x each), which many people apparently don't order. Unagi, yellowtail, scallops etc. The Riesling from Balthasar Ress really fits perfectly in terms of taste. Despite the somewhat high prices, the visit is absolutely worth it. Certainly one of the best sushi restaurants in Frankfurt.

I was there at lunchtime and had the impression that what applies to the entire European Quarter applies to the restaurant: everything is neat and clean, but also a bit empty and desolate. There is no real atmosphere there. The food (sushi and summer roll) was good and the price was reasonable for Frankfurt. However, there was no lunch special, which many other restaurants offer. The service was quite reserved.

They were willing to make recommendations and accommodate my specific preferences. Overall, I can only recommend Gorenshi. Although I'm not a classic sushi fan, this restaurant changed my mind. Auf der Suche nach einem guten japanischen Restaurant bin ich auf das Gorenshi gestoßen. Die Einrichtung ist ansprechend und das Personal sehr nett. Die Speisekarte ist sehr gut sortiert und bietet unzählige Essensvarianten. Die Miso-Suppe war geschmacklich perfekt ausgewogen. Das Thunfischsteak mit Gemüse und Reis war sehr lecker. Ebenso das Sushi (Nigri).

My visit to GORENSHI was quite a mixed bag. What is undoubtedly worth highlighting is the restaurant's affordable prices. The prices seemed not only fair, but quite reasonable, and the price-performance ratio was quite reasonable. The kimchi was particularly delicious and flavorful. My personal highlight of the evening. The presentation of the sushi dishes was also charming and appealing. However, in my opinion, a big point of criticism was the lack of stability of the sushi rolls. They constantly fell apart, which spoiled the enjoyment experience and resulted in an inconvenient way to eat. Another negative point was the limited selection of vegan and vegetarian sushi options. Unfortunately, the selection for these dietary preferences is very limited, which was a challenge for me personally, who doesn't like certain ingredients. In summary, Gorenshi offers an average experience and you should judge for yourself whether the restaurant is as good as described in the reviews.

Super Service mit einer atemberaubenden Atmosphäre. Sushi war sehr lecker. Aufgrund der großen Portionen blieb noch etwas übrig. Gorenshi hat aber auch hierfür eine Lösung und packt das übrige Essen zum Mitnehmen ein. Klasse Leistung!

Supertolles Sushi! Wir sind zufällig auf das Restaurant gestoßen, da unser Hotel in der Nähe war und waren danach super glücklich dort gewesen zu sein. Wir sind relativ "spät" gekommen (21 Uhr) dementsprechend ging alles super schnell und zu unserer Zufriedenheit. Wir kommen zwar nicht aus Frankfurt, aber werden definitiv für ein weiteres Abendessen hier mal wieder Frankfurt besuchen.

Geniales Restaurant. Wir hatten Sushi und Udon Nudeln. Es hat super geschmeckt. Ich würde öfters kommen, wenn ich in der Nähe wohnen würden. Ambiente war sehr traditionel und der Service war auch ausgezeichnet. Außerdem sieht man an der Theke wie die meisten Gerichte Zubereitet werden.

Einer der besten Sushis in Frankfurt. Wir gehen regelmäßig hier essen oder holen ab. Geschmacklich super, sehr schön angerichtet. Ambiente ist toll und die Bedienungen freundlich. In den letzten drei Jahren, hat die Qualität überhaupt nicht nachgelassen. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne. Die Gyozas und sommerrollen kann ich neben dem Sushi auch empfehlen.

음식은 대체적으로 평균. 오리지널 일식을 기대했다면 실망할듯. 일본분들이 하는 식당이 아님. 음식을 잘못 가져와서 말했더니 미안하다는 말 없이 잘못나온 음식을 가져가고 새로 해왔음. 밤에는 거의 불을 켜지 않아서 분위기가 좋다기 보다는 매우 불편했음.
