Exclusively vegan dishes. The food tasted good and the atmosphere in the backyard is nice. The service was quick, even though we were there with a larger group. In summer you can sit outside on the terrace

The vegan cuisine is excellent and a filling lunch is available for under €10. The service is fixed.

Vegan restaurant version of vietnamese cuisine. Don't forget to try the green curry and the udon noodles with tofu. We also ordered banana with rice and coconut milk: not my favorite, but it may have been me as it looked really good.

And let me tell you, this perfectly spiced Vietnamese food in a delightful little alcove was absolutely essential to my recovery. Absolutely wonderful place. The delicious restaurant hides out in the back of a backyard, but it's Berlin at its most fantastic as soon as you step into the backyard and see the restaurant. Fantastic staff and absolutely delicious food. Everything is vegan. In addition, we also got two delicious alternative drinks. Huge recommendation. For starters we had kimchi and fresh spring rolls. The kimchi was nice and strong and had lots of flavor. A little too strong for some people's taste perhaps. The fresh spring rolls were super delicious, but lacked a little acidity and sweetness. For the main course we had a red curry and a dish with vegan duck. They tasted great. The sauce for the dish with vegan duck is very sweet, which you should keep in mind when ordering.

Very tasty vegan food. Unfortunately you can only pay in cash, which is a real shame.

We ate here during the week and had a lovely time. Everything tasted good, the young waiter was very nice.

It was the first time I ate vegan food, it surprised me. The flavors of the food were very rich. The tofu dip we ordered was delicious, a little spicy, but with a strong, rich flavor. We ate vegan duck, its flavor was surprising, it has toasted sesame seeds, which gave a better flavor to the dish. The rice is a bit simple, but the dish contains a coconut milk-based sauce, so the flavor increases.

I ordered green curry with vegan duck. The curry had very little flavor. The vegan duck gave me stomach ache. The noodles tasted very good tho. I think The one of waitress was having a bad day, because she was quite dry and not too friendly.

The Vietnamese restaurant is located in the inner courtyard. Vegan dishes in all variations. We are on the upper terrace with an all-round view. It is beautifully planted with flowers and the grapes need another month then the dessert would be guaranteed. Food came quickly and tasted interesting.

Si trova in un cortile tranquillo, ci sono tavolini all'aperto. Molto silenzioso. Servizio veloce, non perfetto. Il cibo viene dalla tradizione vegana cinese buddhista. Sapori molto diversi, non è il solito, noiosissimo cibo con curry e latte di cocco. Ben accostati i sapori di erbe e spezie. Prezzo nella media. Assolutamente da provare!

The vegan duck was really shockingly good. If the restaurant wasn't purely vegan, we would have thought it was meat. Other dishes were also convincing. The prices are relatively low, especially for the recommendations of the day. The only criticism is the toilet. It is outside the restaurant and resembles a public toilet

Super nice restaurant with a great ambience, where you can sit on a warm summer evening and enjoy dinner with friends. The staff is generally very friendly, but could be more attentive. The food is impeccable and the portions are very large.

This place was super tasty! The setting is cozy and open - set in a sort of courtyard tucked away from the street. People rave about the vegan duck in the reviews and now we see why! It was super tasty and the sesame seed crust is an incredible touch! We also took the udon noodles with a beautiful array of veggies. The noodles were perfection and the flavors vibrant. Would recommend this spot!! We came for lunch and brought our friends back in the evening for dinner 😍

Amazing vegan duck! I had the red curry which comes with sesame breaded vegan duck and rice (I believe it’s #36 on the menu). The duck was some of the better mock meats I’ve had, I was very impressed. The curry part was more of a sauce that was drizzled around the duck, I definitely would have liked a more generous helping of that part of the dish. I also had the spring rolls with tofu and peanut sauce which were good. The service was fine, the prices were decent and the atmosphere was cute! We sat outside on the patio.

I visit this place every time I visit Berlin. I’ve been to many vegan places but this one really stands out. Dishes and smoothies are extremely tasty! It’s worth checking out, and there’s a great chance you’ll decide to find a recipe to make something at home. My favourite main dish - Kiem Chay.

Dream, good for anyone who wants to eat vegan/vegetarian. Meat is not missed. I say that as a meat eater. The restaurant can be found in a typical Berlin courtyard. From Bergmannstrasse.

We didn't have to wait long for our food. The waitress was super nice and super fast and the food tasted very good. It was very warm and fresh, you could tell that the ingredients were carefully selected and the location was simply a dream

They didn’t let me sit outside because I was alone and there were 5-6 empty tables (big tables for 4) it was my first time there. And wont come back.

A great surprise - a really good vegan Pho soup in Berlin. Can't say anything about other dishes, but everything looked good. However, no card payment possible. That's why a star is missing.

Lovely place, great food and great vibe. I got some vegan duck that I'm not really sure what was made of but it was good. The waiters seemed a bit confused but nothing bad. Though keep in mind they only take cash if you sit on the second story, lol.

The spring rolls are possibly the best thing I have ever eaten. I'm euphoric right now.

The restaurant is in a great location in the courtyard of a busy street. The staff is numerous and without exception friendly. Although the menu offers a wide selection, the food is served quickly. It could have taken a little longer. The vegan dishes are not only good in price, but also impressive in terms of taste. I particularly enjoyed the starters. However, the main course could have been a little spicier. The dessert was sweet and rounded off the meal pleasantly.

Phew, we actually like to order here often, but something happened to us today that we didn't expect. While eating our Pho we suddenly see flies in the food. Simply disgusting and really a shame.

Vegan, my first time. It took some getting used to but it tasted quite good.

The vegan duck is worth an hour's journey to me. We discovered this somewhat hidden restaurant by chance a few years ago and have been coming back regularly ever since. We have now convinced many non-vegan friends to try the vegan duck, but we also really enjoyed all the other starters and main courses we have tested so far. The turmeric chicken skewers with peanut sauce are particularly recommended. When the weather is nice you can sit outside, otherwise the benches by the large windows are very desirable. The service is always good, but typically Asian reserved.

Lovely restaurant with terrace in an interhof, away from the chaos of the main road. Decent prices, food is good, staff is overall friendly and quite reserved. Great vegan duck! Homemade drinks are very good as well.

Small restaurant in the back yard. Personally, I didn't like the vegan duck, it's also a matter of taste. I found everything very cramped and there were only stools without backrests.

The food wasn't as good as expected. Unfortunately, my meal contained a lot of coriander, which was listed under "herbs" on the menu. It tasted so much like cilantro that I didn't finish it. The toilets are very dirty. It is better to reserve a table. The vegan duck is not recommended in terms of taste, it doesn't remotely resemble duck and has an unpleasant taste. I won't go back there again. It's nice to sit outside in the courtyard, but everything is a bit crowded and somehow someone is always smoking somewhere, which doesn't carry well into the backyard.

Wonderful food. No matter whether it's the drink, the starter or the main course. Everything was super tasty and filling. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The udon noodles and tofu dishes are highly recommended.

One of our favorite restaurants. We always enjoy eating here. Everything is vegan, you don't miss the meat at all. We've had many different dishes and enjoyed them all very much.

I'm not angry, I'm disappointed! I waited 1½ hours for the order and only to find out that it was suddenly canceled... things haven't been any better on site so far. Long waiting times and poor service.

The Kiem Chay (with Taro, Lotus seeds, sweet potato and pumpkin) is absolutely delicious! All dishes with vegan duck are also amazing, same as the mango lassi. A great Vietnamese option in Bergmannkiez!

Sunday evening, the offer was 100% vegan, flawless, the staff was friendly and on top of their game, the food was also decent, the glass of mango lassi could have been a little fuller, I can definitely do it again.

Beautiful atmosphere, with a garden in the back yard. It's nice inside too! Food is more traditional. Anyone looking for “German Asian food” here will be overwhelmed. A great experience for Asia fans! Super tasty and definitely not run of the mill! Service is good, as is the price. Always happy!

Great vegan Vietnamese restaurant in Bergmannkiez. We shared 5 different vegan starters to try different things. The taste was great. Only thing: it was quite cold at the table (but it’s the winter time coming).

Superaufmerksamer Service und beeindruckendes veganes Speiseangebot, nettes Ambiente. Kleiner Punkteabzug weil viele Sitzplätze keine Rückenlehne haben. Das ist nicht jedermanns Sache, auch wenn es Vietnam-landestypisch ist. Ich werde dennoch Stammkundin!

Very nice secluded Asian restaurant. It's fully vegan, I'm not vegan but I loved it. The staff is very pleasant and atmosphere as well (even though it's a bit creamed). But most important is the food. I really recommend visiting. We loved it. I had vegan duck and almost couldn't tell. Really cool.

Das Essen war sehr lecker. Es gab eine große Auswahl an veganen Gerichten - für jeden ist was dabei. Die Preise waren auch angemessen. Jedoch haben wir uns durch den Service absolut nicht willkommen gefühlt. Es ist natürlich verständlich dass es mal hektisch ist, aber die Kellnerin hat uns von Anfang eher das Gefühl gegeben, dass wir sie stören. Als wir uns entschieden, ihr aufgrund dieses Verhaltens, kein Trinkgeld zu geben, war sie beim Zahlen gefühlt empört. Haben wir zumindest so empfunden. Wir würden nicht nochmal wiederkommen.

Für Veganer ein wirklich gutes Restaurant und auch für Fleischesser. Ich bin selber Letzteres und mochte die vegane Ente sowie die Tofu Bites. Die selbstgemachten Teigtaschen waren auch lecker. Ambiente ist sehr angenehm und bequem, Service normal/gut. Preislich nicht überteuert sondern mittig anzusiedeln.

Hi. Updated my review because of new owners of the place. Different world ! ---- (Used to be 1 star *) Good food, but almost offensive service. Please avoid this place. Go to the much better Vietnamese closeby instead. Even if it was just 'a bad day' for our waiter, he treated us inexceptebly cheeky. Also the manager wasn't prepared to be friendly and we were forced to pay for a dish we didn't order (and didn't touch). A shame, I live around the corner but this was my last visit. There are much better Vietnamese restaurants in the Bergmannstraße within 100m anyway. The waiter, taking our order, was already grumpy and didn't articulate properly but mumbled while confirming our order. After presenting him with the obvious misunderstanding, serving us the wrong dish, he switched to offensive mode instantly, raising his voice and implied that I and my girlfriend were lying. After that he left us staring at the plate of unordered food for at least 10mins. The manager vouched for his incompetent and grumpy waiter and we had to pay.

First of all: the food is amazing! Even as a meat lover I can recommend the food. Sadly this is over shadowed by really not good service. The staff lacks experience and jumps around like as if the business is run by school friends. The main dishes came before we could finish our starters and we had to ask multiple times to pay until someone was able to accept our money. If you want to sit upstairs the restaurant only accepts cash, without ever giving an explanation. Through the evening I heard every customer being surprised by this. The atmosphere is okay, a few lamps broken, the hallway a bit narrow for waiters to pass by and the toilet is outside of the restaurant which also means public usage and less cleanliness. Overall I would wish the staff would take the job more serious and that you can pay by card, even if that means, that after the dinner ended I have to come downstairs inside to pay.

Wir waren mit unserer Gruppe von zwölf Personen vor Ort, und jeder war mit dem Essen zufrieden. Geschmack toll, frische Produkte und genug um satt zu werden. Preislich absolut im Rahmen, Gerichte liegen zwischen 9 und ca. 15 Euro. Der Service war zügig und freundlich, der Laden selbst war nicht so mein Geschmack, alles etwas abgenutzt und die Sitzgelegenheiten waren etwas unbequem. Ist aber nur mein persönliches Empfinden gewesen. Beim Besuch aufmerksam sein, der Laden liegt etwas verwinkelt in einem Hinterhof.

Immer wieder eine gute Entscheidung. Sehr schönes Ambiente und durchweg lecker.

We celebrate in the upstairs terrace my birthday. Kids enjoy as always a mango lassi and Udon Nudeln. It is an all vegan menu restaurant and therefore we choose it. They have a downstairs and a upstairs beautiful terrace. Service is friendly. Toilets are downstairs in fact making our kids have a little adventure on their own. The restaurant is inside the building Hof. There are also a DM and a cossy Chilean Bistro with Latin music atmosphere. Cool. We will come back again. I paid with a card but they made me go downstairs to do it like an exception because only cash was allowed on the terrace.

Super leckeres und appetitlichtes Essen. Es gibt eine große Auswahl an tollen Speisen und Getränken, welche noch nie enttäuscht hat. Auch die Mittagskarte ist super. Ich war bereits mit einigen bekannten hier - alle waren begeistert!

Exceptionnel! On a vraiment passé un moment hyper agréable, dans un cadre joli et calme. Les plats sont tout simplement délicieux, c’est très plaisant de découvrir toutes ces saveurs. Allez y sans hésiter

Ambiente sehr schön und die Bedienung aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Essen war allerdings nichts…wir hatten als Vorspeise den Champingnon Salat…well…2 geschnittene Champignons auf Eisbergsalatbett mit Essig und Öl…da hatte ich mir nach den überaus guten Bewertungen schon etwas mehr erwartet. Das Hauptgericht war OK aber mehr nicht. Da gibt es auf der Bergmann bessere Alternativen.
