We ordered for the first time. Unfortunately there is far too little sauce for the schnitzels. Little spice. Shrimp were delicious. Our child also liked the beef soup. However, we paid €4 for a normal bottle of Sprite, as if it had gold dust in it, exaggeration.

Ich und meine Frau waren in im Rahmen eines Geburtstags dort. Das Essen war gut wir hatten eine Auswahl von mehreren Gerichten. Die Pizza als Vorspeise war sehr gut der Boden schön dünn und lecker belegt. Fleisch, ich habe Steak gegessen, schön Medien wie beschrieben schön Medium. Die Beilagen waren gut und reichlich. Am schönsten ist die Terrasse des Hauses, man kann sehr schön sitzen. Da es etwas außerhalb liegt ist man auf der Terrasse auch ungestört. Einen Wiederbesuch wert

Top Preis Leistung mit nettem Personal und guten, einfachen, mediterranen Speisen. Kleine Karte mit Pizza Salaten und Schnitzel. Alles in guter Qualität zu sehr guten Preisen. Man erwartet nicht auf einem Golfplatz so nett und günstig unterzukommen. Tolle Urlaubsstimmung. Schwellenangst ist hier unbegründet.

A place full of memories – with minor flaws I remember the restaurant from my childhood, back when it was run by the Bender family. It was an integral part of my life for many decades, so it was all the more wonderful to be there again – this time with a larger group on the terrace, from a very nice table. The service was truly excellent: very friendly, attentive, and courteous. The food, however, was unfortunately inconsistent. Some main courses were excellent, others rather disappointing. My salad plate with a fine fish combination was unfortunately dry, even a bit burnt around the edges. The salad was mushy, and the advertised oyster mushrooms were missing – but were served upon request (in three small pieces). Here, you get the feeling that several chefs are working in the kitchen. The ambiance outside is still very nice. Previously, under the new owner, the interior featured works by the regional artist Paul-Eduard Pfisterer, which wonderfully matched the style of the restaurant. He focuses on the landscape and people of the region (Voglesberg), capturing them impressively and picturesquely in oil paints. These have since been replaced, unfortunately with paintings that, in my opinion, don't match the charm and atmosphere of the restaurant. Nevertheless, the visit remains a positive memory thanks to the excellent service and the nostalgic atmosphere.

Untergasse 18This is how you imagine a village pub! Honest, warm, direct, delicious! In the afternoon during the hike, the inn enticed us with a cool drink, while in the evening a hearty Swiss schnitzel was convincing. Top price/performance, nice hosts, that's how it should be. Gladly again at any time!

Schloßgasse 10Very friendly and accommodating. Our dog got a bowl of water without asking 👍🏻 The food was very, very tasty. Next time we hike from the Nidda Reservoir to Schotten and back, we'll stop here again for refreshments!
