Very good service, appropriately reserved hospitality and delicious house beer!

The staff is the only reason you could come over. Kräusen in steins that are not refrigerated, only 3/4 full. Music is so underground, toilets are virtually unusable, even moldy! In addition, Krausen and Goldköpfle do not taste the way they should taste. And all of this for such an outrageous price. We actually wanted to drink cocktails but you have to take out a loan for that. Besides, we left as quickly as possible. What a shame! Lehners used to be really good and cozy!

We booked a table and when we arrived we needed to wait for a long time to get contact with staff. We went there for one of their specials and this was runned out at early as seven in the evening.

Everything was very well done, but the price/performance ratio no longer fits. Everything was okay, but wouldn't come again. Not really satisfied!

When we made a stop on our trip in Karlsruhe, we came across the inn. It was a nice atmosphere and comfortable to sit outside. The reviews were also good and we decided to eat there. Unfortunately, neither of us were really impressed with the food. It wasn't bad, but not really tasty either. When I saw the other tables, I knew what the good rating was for. The beer. Everyone drank beer and not that many ate. I think the inn is cozy and well attended, but I would look for another place to eat next time.

Strange review…. I know. I like coming to Lehners, great atmosphere, good food, waiters and waitresses are super nice. But what doesn't work at all is the woman who always stands at the entrance and gives you a seat. When she runs, she carries her nose so high that it almost rains in. I was really looking forward to it, ate less during the day and because of the summer heat I ordered the “vegan” Lehners bowl because I thought that for €15.80 you would be full with a decent salad. Let it be said that a burger costs just under 17 euros and is no longer in proportion. But the fact that a salad costs almost as much at €15.80 is pure joke, sorry. If the salad was at least filling for this price, I wouldn't have written anything here. A bit of lettuce, a few quinoas, diced beetroot and a little something else, that's it. A bowl really looks different. You can get them at Mama Tan, Min Ramen or in the Bowl-Werk, three classes better and with a healthy price-performance ratio. For me, Lehners was a pure rip-off and absolutely exaggerated. My friend then ordered a fitness salad for €17.90. This one was even sparser than mine, making it an even bigger disappointment. After eating our salads, we sat there hungry and jokingly wondered whether we should go over to the kebab house. I then had two large wine spritzers, which cost €9 - in the Palatinate it's €4.20. And you have to ask yourself, what is actually going on here? Maybe a good middle-class tavern should do what it does best. For me it was the last time. I am absolutely no longer willing to pay overpriced prices and reduced portions. Good luck, dear Enchilada group.

The food is good with small weaknesses and is supplemented by a changing weekly menu/lunch menu. The interior is similar to a brewery and quite inviting, the service staff attentive and friendly. The only drawback is the toilets, lack of soap and toilet paper and dirty sinks are quite a negative point. Some of the condition is certainly caused by guests, then unfortunately you have to check more often. Still 4 points because the staff is super nice and you can forgive a slip-up when eating.

Great beer garden in the middle of Karlsruhe! Attentive, professional and numerous service staff! I had roast pork and Kaiserschmarrn, both excellent! The only drawback: Somehow the cooling of the tap system wasn't good that day and the beer was too warm. But the service employee solved it really well. Motto: Even a guest who complains should leave the restaurant satisfied. Also highly recommended: The Long Island Ice Tea. But beware! Adults only!

I wanted to order medium rare pepper crust steak and got it almost well done. For the price it wasn't worth it. The fries as a side dish, however, were very tasty. The service was also very friendly. For dessert we got the Kaiserschmarrn, which was ok. It probably would have tasted better without the caramelization.

Alla hopp, the last time I was at Lehners was years ago. I thought to myself: let's treat ourselves to something good for dinner and go to Lehners again. Our conclusion right at the beginning: you can do better! That couldn't have been everything. Unfortunately that wasn't the case today. Didn't have a reservation, but still got a table, great. But then it was forgotten at the table. Well, that can happen, then I asked politely for a card and it worked. Place an order? -an illusion of memory. Nobody comes again. Doesn’t anyone want mine 💰? Apparently not everyone is allowed to take an order, so we had to wait until the colleague came when we asked if we could order. After this "colleague" didn't come, the first colleague asked came and was responsible. Wirthausschnitzel, crispy breading is on the menu, oh well, not crispy with us. The portion of tavern fries for the tavern schnitzel is exactly the same size as the children's portion, and the price is twice as expensive. 18.80€ for 4mm meat thickness - each side 2mm breading. 8 sprouts as decoration and the section of lemon. The tavern fries are just fries with a shell. Alla, is that a highlight? Salad bowl, a small to medium salad plate with strips of turkey breast and a slice of bread. 17.90€, there's even more; Such as freshly homemade bread, baguettes or more “decorations”. By the way, a bowl is a bowl, not a plate ;-) . Käsespätzle 14.90€ were okay, Schlawiner (SchniPo) was also okay for the kids. A previous speaker said the portions weren't priced right. However, we are “healed” for now, there are no pictures; You saw the food yourself when it came out of the kitchen - if only it had been as nicely decorated as your employees, great. Beer is top - just Höpfner ;-). Google asks for child-friendliness, I can't rate it, nothing special was offered. Suggestion for improvement: create menus for children to color in. A pair of colored pencils to take with you afterwards. That should easily be included in the price.

Hello, we ate there today, once had Allgäu cheese spaetzle, tarte flambée and the specialty pork crust roast. The roast pork was lukewarm, carelessly placed on a plate, and the taste was only average. The tarte flambée is built up, as soon as it cools down it becomes tough like the sole of a shoe. Toppings below average and the sauce has already dried out. The cheese spaetzle was probably baked again in the oven, which is why the spaetzle on top was already very dried out. Local is fine, radiates a bit sterile, but okay. The toilets are super clean. Nice place to drink a beer, forget about the food as the prices don't match the service.

I stumbled across Lehners by chance during an appointment in Karlsruhe. The restaurant offers a very nice and well-kept atmosphere. The staff is consistently friendly and very attentive and the menu offers a wide selection of dishes. Drinks and food come to the table quickly after you order. The food itself is delicious, beautifully presented and at a fair price. So I will definitely pay the Lehners a visit again when I'm back in Karlsruhe.

Were here for dinner this evening. The service is really great, we sat outside which is really great in the summer. The food, however, is almost a disgrace. The prices are extremely high for the dishes you get. I understand when dishes are homemade or bought locally, but here you can say with 99% certainty that the dishes are not homemade. You eat ready-made products and the portions are extremely small. The sad highlight is the Kaiserschmarn for €9 with supposed raisins that weren't in the dish. The portion is really incredibly small. All in all, I wouldn't eat here again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone else.

We sat on the terrace in the sun, service was quick and friendly and the crowd was pleasant. The fitness plate had far too little sauce on it, but we ordered more and that wasn't a problem. The fries are awesome! The iced tea/soda too. The price is in the higher segment, but we felt safe.

Restaurant with a large beer garden, all seats are full on Friday evenings - very popular. Very good service from the motivated young service team. Despite the full house, always keep an overview. The beer garden is on the street, but still has a nice atmosphere. Price-performance ratio for food fits. Food arrived warm and together. Tasteful 👍.

All in all, it's only enough for two stars because the main reason for visiting Wirt's house, namely the food, wasn't convincing. It was 6:30 p.m. on a weekday. The crispy pork knuckle is no longer available. The alternative roast crust was okay, but the beer sauce was absolutely disappointing. Unfortunately, the dumplings were very springy without being really easy to share. The highlight was the Kaiserschmarren for €9. You get cut pancakes in a very small format with two (!) raisins and applesauce. The whole thing is very far from a good and very far from a recommendable Kaiserschmarren. The service and the ambience only prevent one star here.

We have been here several times with a larger group and were here for the last time today. We arrived after 9 p.m. and were rudely told that the kitchen was only open until 9:30 p.m. The last round was at 10 p.m., and even though a colleague had just ordered her last drink, the waiter came to collect from everyone in the group. It seemed like they just wanted to clean up quickly, along the lines of "we're closing soon, go home". They don't officially close until 11 p.m. This kind of customer focus is really disappointing. We didn't feel comfortable, but rather felt like we were unwanted. We definitely won't be coming back.

Unbeatable ambience in the middle of the city, first port of call in sunny weather :) the food and drinks have never been the restaurant's secret recipe, but the location absolutely makes up for that. I always notice how friendly and accommodating the waitresses are; the store runs smoothly even when it's very busy!

Asparagus cooked too soft and cooking water still on the plate and poorly peeled, steak not seasoned enough, three sheets of cooked ham (supermarket quality pressed ham from the slicer for 4.20 euros), apparently no homemade hollandaise.

My companion and I always liked going to Lehners because the food and the ambience were very good, even if the prices were a little higher than alternatives. Over time, however, both points have significantly deteriorated in quality. The prices have risen sharply in recent years and when we were there again, we were disappointed to find that the portions had also been significantly reduced (a waiter also confirmed this to me when I asked). We ordered the chicken schnitzel with spaetzle and we weren't full. The food was OK, but the portions were outrageously small, especially for the high prices. Furthermore, it was also very loud in the inn, even though it wasn't really full. Next time we'll go somewhere else where you'll be full and the price matches the service.

The only thing that bothered me was that the restaurant is right on a main street. So it's always pretty loud in the garden. Apart from that I can only say good things.

Since my student days, Lehner's Wirtshaus in Karlsruhe has been one of my absolute favorite places, and I like to stop here every time I visit the city. The food is excellent, especially the veal schnitzel with fries for €26. Even with a full house, the waiting time for food is less than 30 minutes, which is very fair. The service is always attentive and courteous. The selection of beers is impressive and rounds off the dining experience perfectly. A must for anyone who visits Karlsruhe and values ​​good food and good beer.

We were there for dinner last night. The pan we ordered was a disappointment, almost 20€ for a meal that was of marginal quality, the small amount of pasta was not adjusted despite asking the service staff in the kitchen (instructions from the management). Very disappointing, so we won't eat there again in the future. Meat was dry, beginnings and ends, noodles were more for decoration due to the quantity and the sauce tasted like it came from a package. This is where the money is being cut in the wrong corners.

The Lehners Wirtshaus in Karlsruhe is highly recommended. We were there with 9 people and had a very nice evening. Very attentive service and the food was also very good.

I found the food “bad” to say the least. The asparagus tasted like nothing; apparently it wasn't cooked in salt water. The potatoes weren't new potatoes at all. The hollandaise sauce was from a Tomy packet or something. The schnitzel was ok. The price-performance ratio is not right at all. However: the service is very good and the room is cozy and attractive. But for me it's all about the food and that's why I definitely won't be coming back.

We have been here several times and have always looked forward to the vegetarian burger, which for me was one of the best burgers I knew. Unfortunately, unfortunately they now use a different patty, which is now made from lentils and no longer from soy. Although we really like lentils, I have to say that we didn't like this patty at all. It seemed very bland and dry to us, in complete contrast to the product we used before. When we asked the service about it, we confirmed that many guests reacted this way. Personally, I think it's a shame that people don't go back to the tried and tested product. Next time we'll ask in advance what the burger is made of.

There were 12 of us and we had reserved about 1 week in advance for April 6th, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. The weather was nice and the terrace was completely occupied. The staff was rushed, everyone was running back and forth, and the situation was absolutely chaotic. We stood around for 5 minutes without anyone noticing us or asking us what we wanted here. After a while we were asked what we wanted. I said, “We have a reservation for 6:30 p.m. There was no more space outside, which wasn't a bad thing for us. Inside, half the tables were empty. Despite everything, they wanted to put us in a “chamber”. The tables were all separate. As a succinct and whimsical answer: “We can push the tables together ourselves if we don't want to sit separately.” She (the waitress) no longer has an overview, is your answer. But we didn't want to sit in the room and asked for other tables because half of the restaurant was empty. The answer we got from the waitress was: “Do what you want” and disappeared. So we took matters into our own hands, pushed tables together and sat down. The order somehow went through. The time until the food came was also ok, but now it comes: The onion roast for our daughter (10 years old) was supposed to be MEDIUM DONE, it came RAW on the inside. When I asked if we should continue cooking it, they said no problem and here it is: 30 minutes later the plate was back and the meat was CHARRED. Other dishes were also oversalted and Patty's citizens were subpar. All in all: We will NEVER go there again and I would like to say to the owner: Don't be surprised that no one wants to work in the catering industry anymore if you burn out the staff like that. I'm sorry to the staff that you have to work there. If the terrace is full, you don't take any tables in the restaurant and only accept what you can handle, so that everyone is happy, the staff and the guests.

The staff was very polite and very helpful. they were fast and brought my order correctly. The restaurant ambiance was nice. I had a hamburger and it was delicious. I have been living in Germany for 3 months and it was the best burger I have ever had. I would recommend it.

Eat like a mother!!! We were totally thrilled by the atmosphere and even the beer garden was great. Our little dog was immediately given a bowl of water and everything that was brought past us looked great! Thank you very much... we'll be happy to come back.
