What an amazing authentic spot for Vietnamese food in the heart of Frankfurt!!!

Definitely recommend this place for pho soup and vermicelli noodles.

Helped to change the rice noodles to glass noodles for an additional 2.5 euros. The sister was also very polite and caring. The meal was delicious! The price was cheap. Great!

Good restaurant. Good and fast service. Good and fresh food

We decided on this restaurant very spontaneously. Since we didn't have a reservation, I called and was told we could drop in, but to expect a 10-15 minute wait. We got a table right away. We ordered Pho Chay, and it was delicious. The lemonades are also highly recommended. As vegetarians, we would have appreciated it if the sauces had been labeled, as we only learned afterward that one of them wasn't vegetarian. The ambiance could have been a bit nicer, as it was very loud and you had to raise your voice to be able to carry on a conversation. You can sit both outside and inside, but there aren't many seats inside. Additionally, we sat at a window table with benches, and since there were people sitting both at the table and the table behind us, it was a bit difficult to sit down, and it was quite cramped. The light in the women's restroom wasn't working properly; it went out three times and you had to move a little for it to come back on.

Unfortunately, the service and food have declined significantly. From a definite recommendation to no recommendation at all.

The dishes are big! I came there with my vietnamese friend and she said the dishes were quite authentic! ✨ Probably not the best taste you can find, but still really delicious! We were eating outside, everything was nice, but unfortunately we didn't have extra sause. You know, there are usually these small stands, which are placed on every table, with some extra sauce, e.g. Sojasause. So, there was none. First, we just thought that this restaurant doesn't offer these extra products, but actually they did! We saw it when we were already finished with food. Why the waiters didn't place it on our table in the first place – is a mystery haha Anyway, the overall experience was good there. We had loads of fun! However, the toilets are not in the best condition, if that matters to you :)

I went here for lunch and it turned out to be one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. The waiter with glasses was unbelievably rude – he slammed my drink on the table without saying a single word and completely ignored us for the rest of the meal. Not once did he bother to check if everything was okay. Absolutely pathetic service. This place doesn’t deserve a second chance, and I’ll make sure others know how awful it is.

The restaurant has great food and decent service, but the state of it's bathroom during my last visit left me disgusted and shocked. The experience of dining in extends to the bathrooms as well, so I don't understand how a well known restaurant can leave it's bathroom like this. This kind of neglect should be noted as it speaks about the hygiene standards of the staff as well.

I ordered the Bun Cha Hanoi. Unfortunately, it was anything but good. The portion size was adequate, but the meat and noodles were… lacking in flavor. The price is also too high.

Amazingly authentic pho. I didn't expect to have this level of viet food in Frankfurt. Really amazing. Pho king amazing The chicken wings and rice cakes were killing it to. Definitely try their hot sauce. Authentic and got me into a sweat. Highly recommend

The food is always very good. My first visit was in 2019, and service was normal back then. I visited the restaurant last month. No one greeted us. No one greeted us for 20 minutes. We finally got a table, but they said we had to sit with other customers, even though they had other tables. While we were eating, there was sriracha sauce on the table. We still needed the sauce, but the waitress wanted to take it away, even though we said we still needed it. We also wanted to pay, but they never came for ages. I didn't order a drink. I took tiny sips from my bottle from the backpack because we had already eaten, and we wanted to pay, but no one came for 20 minutes. But immediately after I took a sip from my bottle, the waitress complained that I wasn't allowed to drink it. Overall, very, very poor service.

Hours say they’re open but they’re not. When we were standing at the front door, a man literally came to the door to make sure it was locked and didn’t even address us or tell us they were closed. Rude.

Friday night business was booming! The restaurant was bright, cozy, and beautifully decorated. But on such a hot day, it honestly felt like a furnace inside 🥲. I ordered the spring rolls and spicy pho — the portions were huge, the beef was super tender, and the broth was rich and flavorful. But the real star was the spring rolls! Paired with the rice noodles inside and the fish sauce, they were absolutely delicious!

This is my favorite restaurant! They have the absolute best phở noodle soup, always served with fresh vegetables. They also have a huge selection of homemade drinks, matcha, and fresh summer rolls, all of which I can highly recommend. Although it's always quite busy, you get your order within 10 minutes. The value for money is simply wonderful, and I will definitely be back :-).

Very bad experience at Goc Pho! An older waitress was extremely rude and treated us disrespectfully and rudely from start to finish. She simply slammed the menu into my hand and told me to "wait!" in a harsh tone. It felt like guests weren't welcome there. I've never experienced anything like this before – absolutely disappointing and disrespectful! Never again!

I ordered spring rolls as an appetizer and, halfway through my meal, found a hair in the meat. Naturally, the main course didn't taste as good afterward. This time, unfortunately, 2/5

Terrible experience, the prices are definitely too high and on top of that, while we were waiting for our food, a little mouse snuck out of the kitchen, leaving us speechless and with empty stomachs.

disappointing. Vegans and vegetarians beware. I came for the supposedly vegan pho but was told upon inquiry that this dish in fact had beef broth. I was a bit hangry at this point, but was met with a sneer when I remarked that they should at least cover the vegan symbol next to the dish on the menu. I was too hungry to go somewhere else and ordered bun tofu instead, which had zero liquid. Maybe there are different versions, this was plain boring. The place was pretty busy, and apparently other people liked their food, maybe I was just unlucky. In any case, I hope they either change the menu or the ingredients before they advertise something as vegetarian or vegan again that is clearly not.

Goc Pho is a solid choice if you're craving Vietnamese food in Frankfurt. The pleasant tables inside and outside are particularly appealing, inviting even on warmer days. The food arrived very quickly, making it ideal for a lunch break. The portions are generous and definitely filling. The lunch menu is highly recommended – good value for money and a good selection. My only minor criticism: the salad was unfortunately a bit stale on my visit. Otherwise, however, it was an overall positive experience.

Mega delicious food at a good price

I ordered the summer rolls with chicken and beef. The meat was a slice of sausage, presumably made from beef and chicken 😂.

I went here for dinner while traveling in Germany. They served fresh spring rolls, deep fried spring rolls, papaya salad, and chicken pho. It seems to be a popular restaurant with customers coming in one after another. The chicken pho was delicious.

The restaurant is small, but the decoration is quite Vietnamese and stylish. The food looks good, but the quality is just average. It is not very outstanding, but I think it is very rare to have normal Asian food in Germany. There are also special non-alcoholic drinks. It is a good choice for those who are tired of German and Western food.

Goc Pho offers an impressive and diverse menu, from fresh summer rolls to a wide variety of pho, fried rice, and curry dishes. While everything sounded delicious, we chose the Bún Bò Huế and Bún Riêu Cua—two dishes that are often hard to find done well. Goc Pho absolutely nailed the flavors. The Bún Bò Huế was bold, spicy, and tangy, beautifully balanced with fresh Vietnamese coriander and herbs. The Bún Riêu Cua was equally satisfying, with generous portions of tofu, tomatoes, crab, and meatballs. The broth was rich, savory, and perfectly seasoned. To top it all off, the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive. A fantastic experience all around.

I absolutely don't understand the positive reviews. Dish 31 (fried chicken with rice and salad) was bland and tasteless—a complete disappointment for the price. I could have done better at home. Perhaps the soups are the only acceptable option, but I won't try it again. The service was some of the rudest I've ever experienced. Instead of considering my feedback, I was rudely dismissed. That's not how you treat guests! If you value good food and respectful treatment, you should go elsewhere.

Excellent authentic Vietnamese noodles

It's time to give a 5 star review again. The food here was unbelievably delicious. We had net spring rolls as a starter, which was a complete success. The only downside was that there weren't more of them, you could eat bucketfuls. Then there was wok-fried vegetables with tofu and rice, really simple but everything was excellent, the vegetables and the tofu, which is also excellent, was a pure treat. The sauce was the centerpiece, it was so extremely delicious. To finish off, dessert was black rice filled with mung beans, garnished with coconut sauce and vanilla ice cream. Never eaten anything like it before, but it certainly won't be the last time, I loved it. So in conclusion, eat here!!

From the go-to to the no-go Vietnamese restaurant. Service fluctuates greatly, from okay to bad and rude. Why did I still go there? Because the food is tasty, but I don't get full there anymore because the portions are too small for me. Hopefully, Goc Pho will regain its former glory and not rest on its laurels, because even Nokia went under at some point...

I wouldn't recommend the regular pho because I prefer the stronger broth (South Vietnam style). But the broth from fermented fish or so, was an interesting one! Taste was different and good.

Delicious!!! A sophisticated taste. I ordered my favorite bun cha in Hanoi. The spiciness is not included at the beginning to suit German tastes, so you can add seasoning to your liking. The meaty taste goes well with German cuisine, so I think it was the best choice. In Germany, the noodles are dipped in sauce, but this restaurant does not have much sauce, so it is more delicious if you pour it over the noodles and mix them together. The spring rolls are not cost-effective.

Tasty dishes! Friendly but I became was a bit disappointed when they charged 3 euro for a glass of tap water! Waitress said it was not normal tap water because it was filtered. I think it’s a bit too greedy. Should absolutely be free of charge. See you never! 🤓👋🏼

Delicious Vietnamese food in a beautiful old town location! We had fresh salads, aromatic summer rolls, and finished with Vietnamese coffee – sweet but very good. Friendly service, cozy atmosphere. Unfortunately, access is only via a staircase, but the interior is on the ground floor. We didn't notice whether vegetarian options were marked. We'd be happy to come back!

The food is super delicious and plentiful and, as far as a non-Vietnamese person can judge after a trip, pretty authentic.

The most authentic way to feel the freshness of the products is great. Lots of use of mint which gives the dishes fresh flavors as if you were in Vietnam.

I have tried this restaurant at 1445 Tuesday while not many people there. However i have waited more than 35 mins for the food during the non peak hour. While i am going to toilet, i have seen 3-4 staffs are just seating here and doing nothing. Quite disappointed about the waiting time. Also, the service is terrible. A old lady staff has stopped me to drink my own prepared water in a normal reusable water bottle and say its prohibited. I totally don’t understand it as we do purchase a drink for €5.99 normal ice green tea. When i am explaining its just water, the staff said “i know but u cant drink it here” i will put a 0 star service here. In regarding the food, overall the taste isnt too bad and i will give a 4 star. The portion is large enough for 2 ppl. We are both full at the end. Curry is quite good overall. Pho isnt the best i have ever eaten but i will give a pass. Also the price is quite affordable in frankfurt city centre. To conclude, food with good portion and not too bad. 0 point with waiting time and terrible staff not allowing me to drink My own water. I will definitely not come back again And would rather try other restaurant. 2 stars overall.

I am genuinely perplexed by how this place has such amazing reviews… We ordered the shrimp and pork shrimp roll—it was crispy, but unfortunately, there was barely any filling inside. The beef summer roll was slightly better and came with a sauce, though it didn’t really complement the flavors. I had high hopes for the Bún Bò Huế, but the broth was surprisingly bland. I requested it extra spicy, and all I got was a small side of bird’s eye chili—not quite what I expected. Even the iced Vietnamese drip coffee was a letdown—weak and barely caffeinated. Overall, I was really disappointed. I’ve had much better Vietnamese food elsewhere, and honestly, I wouldn’t even consider this authentic.”

The food is incredibly delicious, no question. But I was pretty annoyed that they refused to refill my water bottle with tap water after I had paid a bill of €75.

I went there twice for lunch (the first time I was at GocPho Market). The food is so delicious. However, the service from the female waitress on my second visit was terrible. While the food was delicious, her bad attitude ruined my mood afterward.

The menu offers a very large selection of food and drinks. The service was average and perhaps understaffed for the volume of customers. The food was good quality, but nothing special like at other Asian snack bars. The appetizers were very tasty. My fried rice was far too dry, unsalted, and barely seasoned. The meat was also too dry. There were no seasonings on the tables. Sitting outside is nice, but often noisy and there's exhaust fumes from slow-moving cars. The prices are a bit high. The portions are sufficient, though.

I would like to give 0 points, I just wanted to eat Pho soup, I got a bowl of spaghetti and spicy broth? When I asked why the spaghetti was in there, I was told that it was the normal noodle that was used for pho soup. I didn't eat but paid full price...

A wonderful surprise in Frankfurt! An excellent Vietnamese restaurant in Germany, especially after our disappointments in Berlin, Dresden and then in Prague, Chéchia! Food was remarkably good, almost on par with the best Vietnamese restaurants in the US and in Little Saigon in Southern California

A very unpleasant experience. The food was of very poor quality, and the restaurant was dirty and unhygienic .we even saw mice! The staff were extremely impolite and aggressive. They showed no respect to customers and assigned seats in a rude, commanding way, as if they were offering free food. We wasted both our time and money. Definitely never coming back and we wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. A very unpleasant experience. The food was of very poor quality and the restaurant was dirty and unhygienic.we even saw mice! The staff was extremely rude and irritable. They had no respect for the guests and assigned us seats in a rude manner as if they were offering free food. We have wasted both our time and our money. We are definitely not coming back and cannot recommend this place to anyone.

The flavors are perfectly balanced, the ingredients taste high quality and the food is beautifully prepared. We particularly recommend the pho soup and the fresh summer rolls - simply heavenly! The service is also outstanding: super friendly, attentive and warm, you feel welcome from the first moment. The ambience is stylish, cozy and invites you to linger. Price-performance ratio is absolutely right here. If you love Vietnamese cuisine or want to rediscover it, you definitely shouldn't miss this restaurant!
