Normally I would hold back, but in this review I would unfortunately be speaking straight forward. All waiters were excellent, EXCEPT the waitress (female, older-looking), who had a (relatively) racist and rude attitude. A tone that couldn't be sharper and more biting, coupled with an unfriendly and indifferent look. We were yelled at. The magic words in gastronomy may seem foreign to her. On both visits we were treated condescendingly and she didn't even say thank you for the tip. What a terrible and sweaty experience. To be fair, the food here is really tasty and pretty authentically Vietnamese, even if the portions aren't very large (at least for me).

Good food and the plate is very full

First time since I've been in Vietnam that the Pho was just as good as it was there. ♡

Lunch sets are not sold on weekend lunches. Rice noodles are 15.5 euros. The taste is good. If you make rice noodles incorrectly, the oil will spread and you may feel uncomfortable after eating them, but this restaurant is really delicious. Perhaps because the price is high, there is a lot of quantity.

I went there twice for lunch. The food is so delicious. However, the service from the female waitress was terrible on my second visit. Although the food was delicious, her bad attitude spoiled my mood after the meal.

We were there at lunchtime. The service was very friendly. The homemade lemonade was delicious, but €6.50 is very expensive. The chicken fried rice was very good. For lunch €11.50 is ok, but at the border you can't do that often. It was very busy and therefore very loud. You sit on benches without any comfort. Signals you to eat and get out. Quite acceptable for lunch, but it wouldn't be a place to linger in the evening. We'll definitely go there again.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. The summer rolls was very good. They had homemade spices which was nice. The pork in the nudelsoup was a bit fatty and chewy. It was not spicy and for my taste I added lots of their spices and hoisin for flavour.

One of the best pho I have eaten

Popular Vietnamese restaurant serving delicious meals in a cozy setting. We went to the main restaurant but the place was busy and we’d had to wait to be seated. But they had another restaurant a few doors away. We were glad we tried the second restaurant first. The two restaurants served similar meals and the difference seem to be dining type style. First restaurant looks like dining style type where you sit down and the servers take your order. The dining area is above ground. Looks like a typical restaurant scene. The other restaurant (the one we went to) is more like canteen style. You line up, go to cashier and order your dishes. Then you sit and wait for your order to be ready, and pick up from cashier area, There’s a dining room with tables and chairs. The dining area is below ground. Very cozy and nice decor. I’m glad we dined here first and we will try the other one later. We ordered typical pho with beef flanks, noodles and greens. Meatballs were extra price. Tasty and served well for this cold weather. Although it could have use more flavor, the soup was tasty. The caramelized fish (mackerel) with rice was delicious and we really enjoyed it. The spring rolls were good too. Overall we enjoyed our lunch and we will try other dishes on their menu! I’ll rate the other restaurant soon.

A great place to eat steaming pho when it is raining outside. We ordered Pho Bo and Pho Chay which we liked, with Thai coriander and soybean sprouts served on the side. The place has a cozy atmosphere and fast service. When we sat down and ordered, there were no more empty seats, and although new customers kept coming, none of the waiters tried to rush us to leave so they could serve more people. We were able to have our delicious dinner in peace and leave in a good mood.

Then there is no way around Goc Pho! 🌟 I go to Goc Pho regularly and would like to share my experiences and a few tips: ⭐ Location and reservation Goc Pho is centrally located in Frankfurt and is very busy both at lunchtime and in the evening. I therefore strongly recommend reserving a table in advance. If you want to drop by spontaneously, it's best to come either shortly before 12 p.m. or around 1:15 p.m. to get a spot. 🥢 Starter tip The summer rolls are highly recommended! 🌱 They're a light and fresh alternative to fried spring rolls - perfect if you're looking for lower-fat options. 🍜 Main courses The soups with noodles and meat are the restaurant's flagship dish. Today, however, I tried the red curry with chicken – and that was really tasty too! The curry is aromatic and a great choice if you want to try something different. If you prefer something spicier, there are various hot sauces available on the tables. 🌶️ ☕ Vietnamese coffee – an experience After your meal, I definitely recommend trying the Vietnamese coffee. The coffee is served in a glass with a special filter through which it slowly drips. The result: a strong coffee with a slightly vanilla aroma! 💳 Practical Card payments are accepted – always a plus! 📝 My wish for Goc Pho A small suggestion for improvement: Online reservations would be a great addition to make reservations even easier.

Delicious! Service is also quick and friendly :) I find the benches sometimes very, very loud when new guests come to the table, which is quite annoying (but it is also very subjective). The quality and freshness of the dishes are definitely worth a visit!

We ate at Goc Pho with a group of 8 adults, 2 small children and a toddler. We made a mistake when making the reservation because we didn't specify one person enough. Luckily this wasn't a problem as we were provided with an extra chair upon request. However, the service when ordering drinks was less pleasant. The waiter seemed annoyed and impatient, which was evident in his attitude and tone. The drinks were served quickly. I can't recommend the water in the carafe - it had a strange "dry" taste. Sounds strange, but you'll understand it once you try it yourself. When we asked, we learned that it was filtered tap water. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is not right here at all. When it comes to the food, however, there is only praise. Everyone enjoyed it. The dishes are authentic and bring back memories of Vietnam. Conclusion: The service could be more friendly. Big minus point for that. It's a shame because the overall result suffered. The food alone is reason enough to give the store a chance.

Excellent Vietnamese food tucked away near the center of Frankfurt! There are 2 different restaurants just a couple of doors down from each other. Both are a great atmosphere! All of the food is great but I highly recommend the friend rice dish with crab.

For me by far the best Bun bo hue in the area, generally all the dishes are very authentic. If you can't get a table, you can just as easily eat at the Goc Pho Market next door.

Ordered the beef pho but was a bit disappointed, unfortunately. The broth a bit too diluted and then overcompensated by a little too much salt. Nice touch with fresh herbs and nice variety of other Vietnamese dishes. Staff quite nice and friendly.

I got assaulted and almost robbed inside this restaurant on their property!! I was waiting in line inside the restaurant to be seated; then two men came in stood behind me, pretending waiting in line and took my wallet from my purse; I caught them in the act and the wallet fell on the floor. Talked to the owner about what happened, the owner said “ I don’t care what happened”, and was trying to kick me out of the restaurant to wait in the cold for police to come. Going to file a police report on this; deserve a bad review unless the owner take their security and safe dining environment seriously.

Really authentic Vietnamese restaurant, I was surprised to even see fermented shrimp paste on the menu (normally Vietnamese restaurants don't offer it in Europe due to the smell)! The service could have been a bit faster, but the food was great!

Always busy if you go during peak hours, and for good reason; one of the best phó joints in Ffm. Yo, on a serious note: they also do a phó cocktail! Go get one!

I was looking for a good restaurant near my hotel and found it here. I tried a weekend special and it was delicious (although some of the meat was cold). I also drank a homemade lemonade with passion fruit, really refreshing and not too sweet. The service was very courteous, the atmosphere is appropriate, but I don't like sitting on hard wooden benches. Nevertheless, I can recommend the restaurant.

I ordered the pasta with fish meatballs. As described in the menu, the meal should be prepared with shrimp sauce. Actually I got the fish sauce??? I asked for shrimp sauce and got exactly the shrimp sauce from the bottle without any preparation. Where was the lime, chilli and oil in the shrimp sauce? Can you eat the shrimp sauce without preparation? In addition, the service was also bad.

Alina and Jasmin are great. Very attentive, very kind and quickly noticed when I was there with a friend that the men who came were not wanted or invited and then politely asked them to leave. Thank you!! <3

Very tasty food, good value for money.

I visited this place a few years ago and was also recommended by many people. When I walked in, a lady was quite rude and didn't give me a good idea of ​​where to sit, but the main waitress was very attentive and friendly. The pho was quite expensive but the broth tasted amazing and super tasty. The crab soup was also something different than the normal Vietnamese dishes that are served in Germany. Despite the high price, I would recommend this place to someone who wants to try authentic Vietnamese cuisine.

It is an excellent restaurant, delicious food, affordable prices. I would come back again. I spent approximately 25 euros for one person.

Recommended several times, but we never really found it in the spicy lane between the other two Asian locations (Market and Authentic Cuisine). One is self-service in the basement, the other is just a quick stop in the passage for us. The house on the corner is actually correctly signposted. Continuous opening hours from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. are a blessing for us. Very attentive, friendly, quick staff who clean everything. Exemplary! The huge summer rolls were delicious and would have filled us up for lunch. We also (almost) ate the main courses because they were so delicious: No. 27 Bun Bo Nuong (rice noodles, grilled beef, onions, lettuce, herbs, peanuts, fried onions for €16.50) No. 35 Com Chien Thap Cam (fried rice with beef, chicken, shrimp for €15.50) In addition, a delicious Riesling from the Palatinate and a Moscow Mule in a glass that was too small, so that the “Spice Ginger Beer” (alcohol-free) had to be poured out of the bottle. It certainly won't be long until our next visit.

The food was very tasty and there were a lot of choices. The service is so part part. On the one hand, a young woman served us, she was very friendly and did her job well. On the other hand, other service employees seem very unmotivated and sometimes not friendly. But in itself it's a really delicious restaurant, we'll definitely come back again.

Big portions, good taste. We took fried rice (one with chicken, one with tofu), really nice. Soup (don't remember the name, something with noodles, shrimps and fish patties) was okay. Lime tea is strange: it's literally hot water with lime, no tea. Very nice waitresses! The one who took our order took into account all our wishes: we asked to change the type of noodles, add tofu, remove pork, etc.

I went here to dine with my colleague on the weekend. We both got vegan Pho. I came with great anticipation to this restaurant because I had already been thinking about Pho two hours before we even met. The Pho was good-ish, but could have had a little more seasoning.

Exceptional dining experience! The place was nicely decorated. We ordered chicken fried rice and pho. The food was well seasoned. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The Vietnamese coffee was quite strong and bitter, better to have it with the condensed milk. Would recommend this place for anyone who craves for asian food in Frankfurt.

Best Vietnam restaurant in Frankfurt so far!

Second time here, service is lousy as usual. Especially the old lady (I guess the owner) very unfriendly. Food was average, nothing too impressive. Will I come again? No. Two chances is enough. There is better Vietnamese restaurant in FFM which is cheaper and tastes better.

I used to go here often because the pho is delicious. However, the last time I visited few months ago, there was a dead cockroach on the floor under our table. The server didn’t clean up even after we told. I loved the food but I cannot bring myself to come here again.

Worst food I’ve had in Frankfurt in my two years living here - my salad was definitely prepared at 6 in the morning and just thrown at my plate. Couldn’t take the smell of the food when it arrived. Ordered water with lime and was served warm tap water and charged 7€ for it. Terrible service as well.

This is a very good Vietnam style restaurant only a few footsteps away from Frankfurt's main sightseeing spots Römer, Paiulschurch etc. The food was well cooked and presented. We found a place outside. It is not a real terrace, the tables were placed just on the street. The restaurant itself is just in a cellar. Bottomline., good place to dine in.
