GOA II in Berlin

My girlfriend and I spontaneously went to this restaurant for the first time and we will be back. The food was absolutely delicious and the price was reasonable. Lots of praise

We ordered two differenti dishes, but it was almost the same dish they served…it should be Chicken but it was more like tofu…terrible, uneatable…..it was more like some artificial soft tofu….to be honest…is had nothing to do with Chicken….nothing at all…the worst ever…just stay away….and save your money..

The food is solid, with no major outliers up or down. The Get-2 Card was accepted without any problems, but the tax office may ask why we should pay in cash. Toilets are not handicapped accessible and should be renovated.

Unfortunately, the waiter was only half-hearted with us because he was more interested in the television program. The Lassy's were watered down and our rice was cold. The atmosphere is similar to a snack bar. It's a shame, we were very happy

Unfortunately we don't recommend it. The restaurant seems very sober/uncomfortable. The service was quick and moderately friendly. We redeemed a Groupon voucher and had the impression that the food was significantly saved. (Soup very thin, hardly any toppings, salad Very manageable with 3 pieces of meat and 1 ball as dessert.) The taste of the food was OK, but by no means good. It's a shame, as non-Berlins we were really looking forward to visiting the restaurant.

The store is in a relatively good location. We were there as a large group and ordered several things to eat and drink. The drinks and the appetizer came very punctually but the food order unfortunately came very uncoordinated. Sometimes the wrong food was delivered. Unfortunately the menu was too overloaded and confusing. The store was moderately tempered. On the one hand, this could be due to the entrance door, which was opened by every new guest. The food tasted good and was reasonably priced. Cocktails also cost around 5 euros. Card payment was not possible that day, even though there were well-known credit card logos outside the entrance gate. Parking spaces are available in public spaces for a fee.

Unfortunately, we had a bad experience here, a complete menu was booked through Groupon and although there was a dessert in the menu, the restaurant did not deliver it, even when asked.

I was here regularly about 10 years ago and am very pleased that the quality has remained the same and the prices have remained stable. An absolute recommendation if you are in the area. Very cheap, especially at lunchtime. My recommendation: start with the red lentil soup.

Tuesday afternoon. Cloudy, cloudy skies outside and relaxed music and a cozy atmosphere inside. The food is freshly prepared and processed to perfection. Very tasty and only recommended.

A very warm and cosy place with lots of food options. Menu is extensive and good variety. Food tastes good too. A must-visit if you are around this area. Hospitality is something you will truly admire.

We have been eating at this Indian restaurant for years and we really like the food. They always make sure that you are satisfied and that the food comes to the table warm and tasty. The staff is very friendly and will also accommodate special requests if you have a special appetite. We are always happy to eat there again at any time. Plus. The selection is very good, so there is something for every taste. I also can't understand some of the negative reviews because we've been customers there for years and have never had any problems.

The Indian food wasn't the best I've eaten so far, but I still thought it wasn't bad at all and satisfied my cravings. I had the Mutta Cheese. My sister had the Chicken Korma. The check was a bit strange but not bad.

Unfortunately disappointed. We ordered two different dishes from the daily recommendation, but ultimately received the same thing. When I asked about the difference between the two, I got a confusing answer: one had onions and the other had more sauce. Overall we felt deceived. Never again!

I love it here and always enjoy going here. There is always room for me, the food is plentiful, good and cheap and I like the people there. The Indian red wine is nom nom and the scampi cream plus bathura is very delicious.

Seat cushions have strong signs of wear and music could be more modern but otherwise the food/drink was really satisfactory.

My regular Indian, I've probably eaten here almost 1000 times in 15 years and have never been disappointed. So it's time to finally leave a review!

We come here regularly and are always very satisfied. Service is great, everyone is very nice, food always comes very quickly and everything is delicious.

The rasam soup was perfect for cold winter evenings. We ordered chicken with spinach and with coconut. Both of them were packed with flavors and served with a good quality of rice. The ambience is pleasant and calm with beautiful paintings and 90s bollywood hits playing in the background.

Das Mittagsgericht für 7,90 € (Fisch in Mangosauce) war ausgesprochen lecker und frisch, der Service freundlich und umsichtig. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist sehr gut, die Preissteigerungen in den letzten Monaten sind moderat und nachvollziehbar. Ich kann die vorausgegangenen negativen Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen und kann das GOA II in der Gleimstraße nur empfehlen.

My family and I had the pleasure of dining at GOA 2 Restaurant recently and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The restaurant impresses not only with its cozy and inviting ambience, but also with its outstanding cuisine. Eat: Every dish we tried was a delight. The flavors were perfectly balanced and the ingredients were fresh and high quality. Of particular note were the butter chicken and the vegetarian samosas - both were absolutely delicious and authentic in taste. The desserts, especially the mango lassi, were also a real treat. Service: The service was just as outstanding as the food. The staff was extremely friendly, attentive and accommodating. Our orders were taken and served quickly and efficiently. Particularly positive is the detailed advice when selecting dishes, which took into account our individual preferences and needs. Ambiance: The restaurant is tastefully decorated and exudes a warm, inviting atmosphere. The subtle Indian decoration and pleasant background music contribute to a relaxed and authentic dining experience. Price-performance ratio: The price-performance ratio is excellent. Rarely have I eaten such bad and inauthentic Indian food. Unsightly presented, special requests were accepted but not implemented, the chicken wasn't cooked through and the taste of the dishes was more reminiscent of canned tomato sauce. The staff was inattentive and seemed listless. You had to call someone for everything, they didn't clear things up on their own or ask for new drinks. Of course the Indian beer offered on the menu wasn't available either!

A tastefully decorated restaurant. The food tastes good and the prices are moderate. No intrusive music is played. A plate of papadam is included for free. I can recommend a visit to the Goa II restaurant with a clear conscience.

Lieber nicht. Hier wäre dringendst mal der Besuch des Gesundheitsamtes vonnöten. Schon mal benutzte Servietten wurden gereicht. Und die Sanitären Örtlichkeiten sahen ähnlich wie die Küche aus.

Zutiefst enttäuschend: Die Speisekarte verspricht Hühnerbrustfilet und serviert wird Hühnerformfleisch, wie man es von chicken nuggets kennt. Da gehe ich nicht mehr hin. Schade. - Deeply disappointing: The menu promises chicken breast filet and they serve slurry (reconstituted) chicken meat, as known from chicken nuggets. I won't go back. Pity.

I've had lunch here three times now. Every time the waiter was discussing loudly with his compatriots. That annoyed me a bit. The restaurant was otherwise empty. Food & waiters were ok, would give 3.5 stars overall.

Quite disinterested owner. Ordered through Groupon. Ok so far, but you had to ask for dessert, actually Indian ice cream. Then came a cheap glass bowl with some indefinable ball that appeared to be a pastry. So not the ice cream with a typical Indian bowl included in the voucher and on the menu to take away.

I ordered the Sunday buffet. It was super tasty, had enough variety and was unbeatable in terms of price. The spinach penir in particular was a real delicacy.

Really very nice service. Very good quality food and you feel comfortable, plus top prices. The portions are filling even for a hungry teenager. Chicken Korma is highly recommended ;).

Overall the host was friendly, but it took a while for our food and he forgot about some items we ordered. Not surprising though was the food. Another Indian restaurant that is not so good.

When we arrived the shop was empty and we were told that the boss would come later but we could still sit down (groupon voucher) Unfortunately the food was totally inedible, especially the salad. The batura bread was totally hard and cold... it has nothing to do with delicious Indian food. We won't come again

A few years ago (before the change of ownership) the Goa II was one of the best Indian restaurants in the city, but unfortunately it is no longer recommended at all. The food is tasteless, the soup - whatever it was thickened with - has no taste, as does the main course. To be more precise: I have never been served such bad Indian food. Extremely long waiting time, even though the restaurant was almost empty and a dog was yapping from the kitchen. Unfortunately, the ambience is also a bit old. The price is okay, but what's the point if the food doesn't taste good? Conclusion: Overall, no longer a recommendation.

Haben uns sehr auf den Besuch bei GOA2 gefreut, hatten ordentlich Hunger und Durst mitgebracht leider wurden unsere Erwartungen nicht erfüllt ! Sind etwas enttäuscht gegangen 😞 Die Suppe und der Hauptgang waren sehr lecker, der Salat war sehr nüchtern zum Würzen stand nichts auf dem Tisch. Der Mango Lassi, den ich überall und immer trinke, war ungenießbar als Alternative habe ich mir einen Cocktail bestellt, dieser war dann ebenfalls sehr lieblos in einem Saftglas mit Pappstrohhalm zusammen gemischt, in einer komischen dunklen Reinigungsmittelfarbe. Das Dessert wird bei anderen indischen Restaurants warm serviert, hier war es kalt und ungenießbar. Der Kellner war trotz seiner Vergesslichkeit sehr lieb. Das Ambiente ist ebenfalls nicht mein Fall gewesen, es war mir zu unsauber und ungemütlich. Toiletten waren sehr eklig. Als Fazit uns konnte man hier nicht überzeugen und wir kommen nicht wieder. Weiterhin viel Erfolg!!
