Es war zu teuer und die Portionsgröße stand in keinem Verhältnis zu den verlangten Preisen.

Großartiges Essen! Die veganen, vegetarischen und glutenfreien Optionen sind deutlich gekennzeichnet.

Ich bin neu in Berlin und war zum ersten Mal in diesem indischen Restaurant. Das Essen war fantastisch und der Service ebenfalls sehr gut. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Es hat mir sehr gut gefallen.

Veganfreundlich, authentisch gewürzt – wir lieben es! Wir gehen schon seit Jahren dorthin.

Wir waren bei chutnify im Holzmarkt 25 und was soll ich sagen einfach nur schrecklich. Wir haben das Chicken naansandwich und das paneer es hat einfach überhaupt nicht gut geschmeckt das Brot ist das einzige das authentisch und gut schmeckt aber der Inhalt völlige katastrophal schmeckt überhaupt nicht und dann sagt man noch ausdrücklich ohne Koriander oder auch irgendwas wo Koriander dirn sein könnte und die frau nickt nur und sagt ja und was mam rein.. Koriander Sauce oder und Koriander ... Abgesehen davon es hat auch an stellen ohne Soße bzw Koriander nicht geschmeckt und dafür 13€ für ein Mini Wrap 🌯 einfach nur teuer und schlecht, nein danke nie wieder! Sind mit Bauchschmerzen aufgewacht. Und nckn was haben 1h in der Schlange gewartet da sie sich echt Zeit lassen und in ihrer eigenen bubble arbeiten, keinerlei Kundenkontakt oder Freundlichkeit kein Hallo kein tschüss.. 1 Stern ist noch zu viel

Kleiner süßer Laden, sieht authentisch aus und die Küche läßt vermuten, hier könnte es schmecken, wenn man einfach nur ein leckeres Tellergericht, typisch indisch und unkompliziert erwartet. Serviert wird einem dann ein Klecks des bestellten Currys mit einem Schöpfer Reis neben einem Mini Deko-Krautsalat, alles auf einer Blechplatte angerichtet und wirklich ohne Lächeln. Die Bedienung war noch sehr jung, daher hoffte ich wenigstens auf eine geschmackliche Entlohnung, während andere quirlige Gäste nur so schwärmten von dieser Adresse. (Muss ja gut sein, wenn sie selbst dort essen 😁) Ich war tatsächlich schon lange nicht mehr so enttäuscht in einer food location. Null Schärfe, trotz Warnung auf der Karte, null Raffinesse. Keine Kreativität. Das Raita schmeckte fast ungeniessbar, Joghurt kurz vorm Ableben, kein Hauch von Gurke, Lamm Vindaloo auf dem Niveau eines erwärmten Fertiggerichts, welches möglichst durchschnittlich schmecken sollte um niemanden zu überfordern. Das King Fisher aus der Flasche schmeckte gut. Mit etwas mehr Authentizität in der Küche, Empathie im Service und „Standing“ falls es mal einer „Karen“ und ihrem Gott-Kind nicht europäisch genug schmeckt, könnte es noch was werden. Viel Erfolg! 🫶🏻

Die Angestellten dieses Restaurants arbeiten nicht mit dem Lieferdienst zusammen und liefern die Bestellung nie pünktlich aus. Sie warten ewig, und das ist die schlimmste Erfahrung, die ich je in meinem Leben gemacht habe.

Das Restaurantpersonal behandelt den Lieferkurier schlecht; die Mitarbeiter reagieren nicht auf die Kuriere, sondern lassen sie immer wieder warten – eine wirklich sehr schlechte Erfahrung.

Die beste Dosa, das beste Mango-Lassi! Absolut einen Besuch wert!

Eine enttäuschende Erfahrung. Der Service war das größte Problem; das Personal war völlig unaufmerksam, und ich musste sogar zweimal reingehen, nur um jemanden zu finden, der unsere Bestellung aufnahm. Die Speisekarte ist im Vergleich zu anderen indischen Restaurants recht klein, und obwohl wir gerne scharf essen, war alles, was wir bestellt hatten, so übertrieben scharf, dass es nicht mehr ausgewogen schmeckte. Angesichts der langen Wartezeiten und der hohen Preise hatte ich deutlich mehr Professionalität und Qualität erwartet.

Fantastische, authentische Aromen, schneller Service.

Köstliches Essen, freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Service! Ich habe mein Abendessen dort sehr genossen. Akriti, die Kellnerin, bediente uns mit so viel positiver Energie – sie verdient ein besonderes Lob!

We were here with 11 People and even though the restaurant is rather small and busy it was a wonderful experience! The service was great! She was super friendly, helpful, quick and made sure we were all taken care of. The food was just as great! We will come back many times!!! Thank You!

Sehr netter Service. Köstliches Essen.

Nach langer Zeit war ich mal wieder im bei Euch. Das Essen ist immer noch der absolute Wahnsinn. Wir hatten einen Thali und Dosas. Einfach Top. Die Cocktails waren der Hammer. Der Calcutta Cooler ist mit Caol Ila!!! Man merkt, dass bei der Qualität nicht gespart wird.

Ich hatte Chutnify die ganze Woche über als Catering-Anbieter für eine Veranstaltung im Einsatz, und das Curry mit Beilagen (Naan, Reis und Salat) war jeden Tag hervorragend – reichhaltige, authentische Aromen mit einer angenehmen Schärfe für internationale Gaumen (nicht zu verwechseln mit dem eher faden deutschen Geschmack!). Ich freue mich schon darauf, eines Tages dort zu essen und die Speisekarte auszuprobieren.

Ich war begeistert von dem Lokal. Ich habe hier zu Mittag gegessen. Obwohl es kurz vor Ladenschluss war, hat mich niemand gedrängt oder sich daran gestört, dass ich so spät kam. Ich habe mein Essen genossen und bin dann meinen Erledigungen nachgegangen. Leckeres Essen, angenehme Atmosphäre. Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt: Als ich ein Gericht zum Mitnehmen bestellte, versuchte der Kellner es vor meinen Augen einzupacken, und es sah, ehrlich gesagt, etwas schlampig aus. Aber abgesehen davon war alles super.

Ausgezeichnetes indisches Essen! Allerdings haben wir das System mit den Chili-Schoten nicht verstanden, da das Gericht mit 2 Chilischoten weniger scharf war als das mit nur einer. Das tut dem Geschmack beider Gerichte aber keinen Abbruch, er war hervorragend!

Absolutely terrible experience. My friend and I were told we could sit anywhere inside, so we settled in and placed our order. Just a few minutes later, the staff came over and told us to move outside because they “needed to clean the area.” What made it worse was that there were already two other customers sitting inside, and they were not asked to move at all. This was clearly unfair and disrespectful. As Indians ourselves, it was especially disappointing to be treated this way at an Indian restaurant. It felt like we were being singled out for no valid reason, and the staff showed zero professionalism or courtesy. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, and management seriously needs to learn how to treat all customers equally. I would not recommend this place to anyone who expects basic respect.

Great tandoori dosa, and the thalis and salads are also delicious. Good quality chicken!

Chutnify is one of our favorite Indian places! The food is always super tasty with a great variety of dishes, and the quality is really high and fresh. Their dhal is honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. It is a bit pricey (on average with most good Indian restaurants), but sometimes they have amazing deals on delivery apps and we always order a lot when that happens! The location itself is okay, but we usually go for delivery, and the food always arrives just as delicious. Highly recommend!

Food was great and it taste like we experienced in South India. Overall a good experience although they did forget the Roti we ordered (hence 4 stars on the service - but in the end we did not really miss it). Would come again another time.

To me the best and most authentic Indian restaurant in Berlin, I've probably tried 15 by now. I've lived in India for many years, I know quite well. Definitely the only Dal Makhani that tastes as it should. Today was probably my 10th order, and it's the first time I don't have Chat Samosa and Dal Makhani. Thanks, chutnify, your food makes me happy.

The dosa was great, crispy and there were peanuts in them for the texture. There are a lot of different chutney options, but the sambhar was totally different than other places, it was as thick as a daal, which i enjoyed a lot. The chickene tikka masala wasn't the best, it was a little saltier than usual and the tikkas were relly huge pieces, that's the only reason I'm not rating them a 5.

My fish curry tasted like popcorn 🍿?? It was also too spicy for my taste and I usually love spicy. My fiancée's butter chicken was okay. Outdoor seating is hard, there are no cushions. They are kid friendly though! :) Overall average food, a bit too pricey for what it is.

Authentic Indian cuisine, but unfortunately very expensive.

Really bad service. Went here on a friend’s recommendation for having Dosas. We ordered masala dosa and they gave literally 10ml of white coconut chutney(barely filling their own bowls). When we asked for more it took them 15minutes to deliver it(just to tell you there were 3 other tables only that were full). On top of that they charged us one euro each for three chutney!! I cannot believe it. In other Indian restaurants and in India, if restaurants have Dosa in their menu.. the sambar and chutney is usually given for free unquestionably(atleast until I dont order 5x times, in south India even that is considered okay) It is not like we would save 3 euros and make a fortune for ourselves. But this did not seem worth it at all! It’s super weird to go to a restaurant named chutnify and then pay 3 extra euros for chutnies😂 that too after you have finished eating dosas! Don’t recommend this place for Dosas and because of delayed service.

Very tasty food, friendly staff. You sit outside on the street, of course, but it's relatively quiet. Perfect!

Nice restaurant with good food. The idli were a bit crumbly, but the dosas were excellent! I'm looking forward to coming back. Vegan-friendly too.

I found the dish advertised as spicy to be very good and authentic, but the light curry lacked flavor. The only downside was the service. Unfortunately, the Indian lady was irritated, arrogant, and unfriendly and couldn't behave appropriately. I know that from India when they're not in the mood. But here in India and in the Indian region, she should adapt her manner to meet the demands of the crowd.

​Nice and unique interior and music. Beautiful sitting outside with nice flowers. Food is good, I especially like the more spicy stuff. Both South (Idli, dosa etc.) and North Indian food. Service ranges between apathic and rude. Outside there is practically no service and you find yourself going in searching for the waiter. Prices are high, even for the neighborhood. The lunch portion is good, but you don't get any salad/soup/papadam like in other places.

Since the restaurant had been specifically recommended to us, we gave it a try. The service was friendly, and the food and drinks arrived very quickly. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. The Tandoor Gobi (€16.50) was merely an appetizer; the naan was extremely hard and definitely not fresh. When the waiter asked if everything was okay, I criticized it. All he got was "Sorry." Then there's no need to ask. For the last time there. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it. What a shame.

Und eingerichtetes, nettes Lokal, Bedienung, sehr zurückhaltend Trotz weniger Besucher mussten wir relativ lange auf unsere Bestellung warten. Es hat sich aber gelohnt: das Fleisch war sehr gut, ordentlich gewürzt. Alle Gerichte würden sehr dekorativ serviert, nicht sehr billig, dafür aber sehr gut.

Loved the pani puri and the chole bhature so good. Also the waitress was really nice as well attending to our needs every few minutes. Mango lassi was nice but didn’t like the milk tea.

Very authentic south india food in a beautiful neighborhood setting.

Firstly the restaurant is beautifully done. Love the colors and small little pieces from India and showcasing the culture. Quite refreshing Coming to the food, most of the dishes were outstanding however some were a complete misses Definitely order 1) Dal Makhani 2) Chilli mushroom 🌶️ 3) Chicken Chettinad Misses 1) masala coke (The taste was overpowering come, needs more balancing) 2) Butter Paneer - The gravy could be smoother Conclusion: The restaurant is definitely on the more expensive side however the taste is quite authentic to the most dishes. Would definitely recommend a visit!! Would definitely recommend

If you are craving for indian chicken gravy in Berlin chicken chettinad from this restaurant will never make you sad. Best ever dish I have in Berlin. Special thanks to chef. Keep same taste.

I ordered a Thali and was sitting outside on a chilly day. The Thali came cold, well very luke warm, from the kitchen. I kindly asked to get hot food. They brought exactly the same again and claimed it got cold from the way to the kitchen to the table. I think it happens, when food is ready but the service takes forever to bring it out. But twice the same? They acted like it's my fault for sitting outside where miraculously the food apparently got cold before I could touch it. Sadly, not recommendable, though I was looking forward to south indian food. But cold food, rude service.

Authentic and tasty. Idk what the people keep complaining about.. yes a bit expensive but I’ve yet to have better naan or dalmakhni in Berlin yet. Very desi, ekdum North Indian. Only recommend to increase portion sizes for price.

As I heard about this restaurant the reviews were good but when I personally visited the restaurant to taste the food it was worst as well as the worst service they provide.

Was recommended to us by an Indian friend. I can't say whether it's authentic, but the food is very tasty! Everything is a bit tight, but not so much that you feel uncomfortable.

Fantastic food and it’s always consistent. But the service is hit and miss. We had a reservation and there was no table so had to wait ten minutes - but hey, these things happen. We then waited a further 10 minutes for menu and 50 minutes for our food. This is usually fine, but people who ordered 20 minutes after us were brought their food before us. No one communicated with us and we had to chase our food up. Great food and generous portions, but service can definitely be improved.

I am appalled by the blatantly racist behavior I witnessed at Chutnify Neukölln, where a Sikh man wearing a turban was refused food and treated with complete disrespect. This is nothing short of unacceptable and reflects the deep prejudice within their staff or management. The turban is a sacred religious symbol for Sikhs, representing faith, equality, and respect for all humanity. Refusing to serve someone based on their appearance or faith is not just discriminatory—it’s a violation of basic human decency and respect. Such racist behavior has no place in today’s world, especially in a city as diverse as Berlin. By supporting businesses like Chutnify Neukölln, we risk enabling such discriminatory practices to continue. I strongly urge everyone to reconsider dining at this establishment until they publicly address this incident, apologize, and commit to serious training in cultural sensitivity and anti-racism.

The restaurant atmosphere is chic and the food good quality. Flavors were off and the dosai was a bit too crispy like pappadam. Puli kulambu and the chai were on spot. The food is also a bit pricey.

was there yesterday, family reunion. I was just a little hungry, so didn't order a meal, just appetizers and side dishes. Unfortunately, the service spoke and understood German very poorly. I didn't get any positive recommendations about the food. Ordered: specifically the spicy papadam, but only received a basket with various cross pea dough products including papadam, but it was only slightly spicy, the other two types were extremely tepid, and the two dips that came with it weren't spicy either! I then ordered another hot papadum without any additional ingredients, but received exactly the same basket again! Then I ordered the whole wheat flatbread, but with garlic!, but got it without! Garlic, but with other plain flatbreads that were not ordered with very, very little garlic!! I tried to complain, but the communication was so bad that I gave up. To complement it, I ordered shredded cauliflower. Unfortunately it was extremely bland, lukewarm and indigestible, with no salt, pepper, oil or other ingredients at all! Uah! I complained again and was then given salt and pepper shakers and a bowl of extremely hot spice, probably wasabi. It was a real letdown for me! And I was extremely disappointed with this highly praised and rel. expensive restaurant (€18.40 without drinks).

I heard good things about this restaurant but the dosa I ate was so average. Sambhar was good but I didn’t understand the chutney taste. I regret taking my non-Indian friend along.

Very tasty and unusual dishes, but also classics. Drinks are good too. When we were there we were consistently served in English. It wasn't a problem, but you have to know 😉

Wonderful food. Service could use the bathroom mirror to practice smiling a bit. The hipsters on the table next to us were the real challenge.

Read this before ordering: 1. The food tastes good, but it's pricey. 2. The naans could use some improvement; I would suggest the owner review their quality. 3. There's a tall waiter, an Indian guy, who is extremely rude and seems completely dead inside when serving. 4. The portion sizes for delivery orders are very disappointing. 5. They used to be great when they first opened, but the quality has declined since then.

Die unfreundlichste Bedienung die ich seit Jahren erlebt habe. Eine deutschsprachige Speisekarte gab es erst auf Nachfrage und langem Warten. Wir haben es bei den Getränken belassen und sind weiter gezogen.

10 out 5 for order from wolt , Dal makhani was properly cooked, biryani had flavours , lacha parantha was soft , chilli mushroom was 👍. Berlin food is cursed , people don't know what food is . But you have proved that it's not impossible. lets see u keep up stay the same when we order next

best indian in town - try butter chicken!

It is definitely one of the best Indian restaurants in Berlin. Clean, well-served, and offering genuine dishes, the table service is friendly, the prices are good, and the atmosphere, both inside and outside, is truly pleasant. I have seen this restaurant grow over the years while maintaining the authenticity that has distinguished it for years. They have expanded the outdoor seating area, allowing them to accommodate more people. It's a real pleasure to dine there.

This is the worst ever food I ate. I called them and gave feedback. Response was this is the way we make food. Feedback was never acknowledged or tried to understand. Attitude and behaviour of the staff is super rude. Never ever go and eat or order food. Smelling dosa. Batter was expired. I will request food inspection to make a visit and check if they are using plastic ingredients to make food. Food was super hard like steel in 15-20 minutes

Esta es la peor comida que he comido. Los llamé y les di retroalimentación. La respuesta fue que así es como hacemos comida. La retroalimentación nunca fue reconocida ni trató de entender. La actitud y el comportamiento del personal es súper grosero. Nunca vayas a comer ni pidas comida. Solicitaré inspección de alimentos para hacer una visita y verificar si están utilizando ingredientes plásticos para hacer alimentos. La comida era súper dura como el acero en 15-20 minutos

The prices are way too high. But the food itself was really nice. We had an eggplant curry, I can recommend that if you don’t mind spending 19 €, which is totally out of proportion. Go to Naan at Oderberger Straße (not far) and you’ll get a very similar dish for 9,90 €, in a very similar atmosphere.

Yummy Indian food: not too oily, not too heavy. Could be more spicy. The portions are big. Lovely outdoor terrace. Service is ok but not particularly friendly.

Awesome Indian food and great drinks. The menu includes different kinds od food from different part of India, we tried many and they were extremely tasty 😋 Friendly and patient staff, happy to satisfy all our particular requests. Only the spicy was a bit missing! But give this place a try, absolutely worth’s it!!

It's not possible - price-performance ratio - why is this store always fully booked???

We were the only guests. Service took 15 minutes and was very slow. Food took a very long time. Portions are sometimes very small and not a culinary highlight. Bread was burnt, among other things. However, the ambience and interior were nice and clean.
