Die unfreundlichste Bedienung die ich seit Jahren erlebt habe. Eine deutschsprachige Speisekarte gab es erst auf Nachfrage und langem Warten. Wir haben es bei den Getränken belassen und sind weiter gezogen.

10 out 5 for order from wolt , Dal makhani was properly cooked, biryani had flavours , lacha parantha was soft , chilli mushroom was 👍. Berlin food is cursed , people don't know what food is . But you have proved that it's not impossible. lets see u keep up stay the same when we order next

best indian in town - try butter chicken!

It is definitely one of the best Indian restaurants in Berlin. Clean, well-served, and offering genuine dishes, the table service is friendly, the prices are good, and the atmosphere, both inside and outside, is truly pleasant. I have seen this restaurant grow over the years while maintaining the authenticity that has distinguished it for years. They have expanded the outdoor seating area, allowing them to accommodate more people. It's a real pleasure to dine there.

I will request food inspection to make a visit and check if they are using plastic ingredients to make food. Food was super hard like steel in 15-20 minutes

The prices are way too high. But the food itself was really nice. We had an eggplant curry, I can recommend that if you don’t mind spending 19 €, which is totally out of proportion. Go to Naan at Oderberger Straße (not far) and you’ll get a very similar dish for 9,90 €, in a very similar atmosphere.

Awesome Indian food and great drinks. The menu includes different kinds od food from different part of India, we tried many and they were extremely tasty 😋 Friendly and patient staff, happy to satisfy all our particular requests. Only the spicy was a bit missing! But give this place a try, absolutely worth’s it!!

We were the only guests. Service took 15 minutes and was very slow. Food took a very long time. Portions are sometimes very small and not a culinary highlight. Bread was burnt, among other things. However, the ambience and interior were nice and clean.

For us this is the absolute number 1 Indian restaurant! The food is simply the best. The employees are all very friendly and attentive to our needs and time at Chutnify. Never been disappointed once in years. We recommend !

Tried food from their point on the Holzmarkt 25 and well.. I wasn’t even able to finish it. Guys.. you cannot sell flavorless food and call it Indian. Maybe in the restaurant it is better.

The food is amazing, I like it especially because they have South Indian food, which I really enjoy, like the masala dosa or the Idly. Unfortunately I cannot say the same about the service. I reserved online but apparently the reservation is valid only for inside and as we wanted to eat outside we had to wait 30 minutes even if there was a free table. Then they forgot us and we had to ask again and it took ages until we could order and receive the food. Some of them were also not so friendly to us but you could also see they were very tired. So I understand them but it’s also not nice as a customer to feel unwelcome. They also have gluten-free options.

Food was okay, only the lentil donuts were quite dry. A meal leaked during delivery, a replacement was promised and never arrived. Basically: this is also why it is far too expensive

Super nice place, with delicious as well as authentic food (at least according to friends of mine, who are actually from India) which also means the food is quite spicy. I was a bit surprised reading through other review here, in which people ordered spicy food and complained about the food being too spicy afterwards. Thus if it says spicy on the menu, expect spicy.

Finally decided to try this place after years of hesitation (for take away.) It came fast, which was great as I was starving without food that day. however, I can’t say much about it My curry never arrived with my delivery 😣 … only got my rice (portion was tiny) My garlic naan dry & hard as anything absolutely not edible And my coconut water damaged with a hole in the lid so was leaking. Expensive not worth it. Very bad experience will not bother again.

I often order from here but was disgusted to find a hairball in the food with the most recent order, I really hope they improve their hygiene and food safety

I really like their Cochin chicken briyani and the chettinadu chicken curry. Their Malabar parota goes very well with the chicken curry. I have also heard that their dosa varieties are really good but haven’t tried them yet. So my suggestion would be the briyani and the chicken curry. Dishes tried: Cochin chicken briyani, chettinadu chicken curry, Malabar parota. They serve the briyani with a raita and the curry with rice. Pros: Great taste and good quantity. Cons: Slightly on the expensive side.

Chutnify has long been a very good restaurant if you value authentic cuisine. The service is always friendly and the food is of excellent quality and taste. Prices have gone up a bit lately, but the food is definitely worth it.

I can’t speak to the authenticity, having never been to India, but we love the food here. Which we find on par to London, Sydney, Singapore and many other spots we devoured Indian Curry in. Of course we do order Butter Chicken (insert eye roll) the white persons curry but it’s brilliant and Dahl one of my favourites in Berlin. The crispy mushrooms a must! The portion are indeed not huge, but I am ok with that, prices are a bit higher than an average curry spot but again I am ok paying for quality. Service is efficient and professional and fit out relaxed. We love it here.

I ordered samosa chat very disgusting. I was regretting why I ordered and wast my money . Only one samosa and 5 chickpeas only very bad experience with them . I will never recommended to anyone.

We have been to chutnify thrice and all three times, the food was great. This is one of the best authentic Indian restaurants in Berlin. The service is also quite good and accommodating. We have been disappointed with tandoori starters in other restaurants in Berlin, however Chutnify's chicken tikka is always 10/10. Same goes for their Malabar porota. Certain items like chicken chettinad are higher on spice level but we like it as that's what makes it authentic. However for others who want to go easy on spice, please choose the dish accordingly. Butter chicken and butter paneer recipes are low on spice level yet quite delicious. Definitely a must visit to try Indian cuisine in Berlin.

The restaurant owner is rude to the customer And the food would have been absolutely useless

The food was good, but the hospitality of the restaurant was abysmal. The waiters did not treat us with respect and gave us a time limit of an hour to finish our food. Along with that they asked us to finish our food in five minutes while we were in the middle of dinner with 20minutes remaining. As they had reserved the table for another customer, the waiter gave us a time limit of five minutes to wrap up. After confronting them about this, the bartender and the waiter were extremely rude and did not even apologise and left us feeling really horrible. For a job in hospitality and management, these people sure needed to learn some hospitality themselves when it comes to customers.

Je ne suis pas fin connaisseur de la cuisine indienne mais c’était goûteux. J’ai bien apprécié le chicken thalis était très bon, la sauce a base de coriandre succulent! J’ai passé un très bon moment! Attention avant de commencer plusieurs naans, réfléchis bien car ils sont très grands !

Very good, but super small plates, and therefore quite pricey. I would not come here again. I was really hungry after lunch already!

We love South Indian food and Chutnify has excellent idli and dosas. The sambar that goes with them both is amazing. We would highly recommend this place.

The ambience is authentic. The staff are friendly. Food tastes authentic. I ordered Achari Panneer which was flavoursome. I would recommend it.

Mega! Best Indian Restaurant in Berlin!

Delicious meals and very friendly customer service.

I heard mixed reviews so wanted to try myself. We asked for a spicy version instead of the original version. So it was good. Rice is chargeable. So it’s not free refill. Dal makhni is served as a side dish not as a main dish. Malabar parantha was good. Chana masala was good too. Butter paneer was okish. They gave mango pickle which improved the taste overall. Staff did forget to bring my beer and mango pickle so had to request again. Otherwise they were happy to serve and help.

I LOVE this place. Such good service. The food is excellent! Exactly how Indian food should be- brings back so many good memories! Authentic Indian food. Slightly pricey but well worth it.

I was in food heaven. The food was smelling good and also tasted very authentic- I got the masala Dosa and the chettinad chicken which was very delicious! HIGHLY recommend this place for some genuine south Indian food !

Love the vibe of this place! Really small restaurant but the food is really high quality! Perfect for a date night! I would recommend their dosa - it’s crisp. The sambhar is authentic and coconut chutney is perfect!

We had the chicken and veggie Dosa. As an appetizer we had the Samosa, which was garnished and had the perfect size go share. The food was super tasty. The interior is furnished with a great personal touch. Definitely recommend going there.

Nach 15 Jahren haben wir Berlin verlassen. Wenn wir jedoch zu Besuch in Berlin sind gehen wir regelmäßig zu Chutnify. Sowohl in Prenzlauer Berg als auch in Neukölln stimmt die Qualität und wir lieben diese authentische, indische Küche. Wir sind öfters mit dem Rucksack durch Indien gereist und es ist schwer gute indische Restaurants zu finden, welche nicht mit einer einheitlichen Soße arbeiten. Endlich mal indisches Essen was ein wenig mehr Schärfe hat. Lecker, ich kann es nur empfehlen und verstehe die schlechten Bewertungen nicht. Preis-Leistung stimmt absolut!!! Danke für die gute Arbeit!!!

The staff were absolutely great! Delicious food, perfect spice levels and interesting cocktail list. We weren't familiar with one of the menu items, and our lovely waitress showed us how to enjoy it best.

The current rating on google (4,0) is not fair. The food is absolutely delicious and tastes better than most indian restraunts around here. Recommending the dosas especially! ♥️

This is the best place in Berlin to have Indian food. Amazing authentic indian food... From samosa chaat to medu vada to kanju curry butter chicken,naan everything was absolutely delicious. I have tried like really famous indian restaurants in berlin but oonchi dukan pheeke pakwan... But chutnify rocked it... Like amazing level of flavor and perfect spice... They didn't tone it down like other indian resturants have in Berlin, they kept it authentic.... It's pricey yess,but worth it

Chutnify is one of my 3-4 only Indian restaurants in Berlin that I visit. The food is quite authentic, and excellent; the service is good and a good place to hang out. It is also one of the only places in Berlin that serves the famed but little known outside India, the 'Malabar Parathas'. You could request the chef to make the curries Indian spicy and it is always obliged and nicely done. As said, one of the 3-4 Indian places in Berlin I could recommend. Tip : Always try to reserve a table from their website, especially on Fridays and Saturdays, the place tends to be full.

Wir gehen eigentlich gerne und häufig bei Chutnify essen. Es hat uns bisher immer super geschmeckt und der Service war stets ebenso gut. Was wir allerdings heute per Lieferung bekamen, war eine böse Überaschung. Ich hatte ein vegetarisches Curry mit Naan bestellt. Was dann kam, war eine nur halb gefüllte Pappschale mit etwas von der Konsitenz einer dünnen Suppe mit genau einem winzigen Stückchen Blumenkohl, sechs grünen Bohnen, einem Stück das nach Karotte aussah und ein paar grünen Erbsen. Sorry Leute, das könnt ihr doch besser. Sehr schade.

all in all it was ok. the food was good, i had the butter paneer and cheese naan. i think the price is a tad expensive. the service was friendly but disinterested. i had better, especially better naan, but still worth a visit.

Loved the experience all around. Our server was amazing and had lots of suggestions for what to order and how the food was made. It was the best garlic cheese naan ever! Highly recommend the place! Beautiful shop front in an equally beautiful neighbourhood! They also take Apple Pay!

Okayish!! Not really South Indian.. oh my god! Idly! Common, it's a stone. Why do you like it like that? If someone wants to remove their teeth, they should eat the idly here! Chutney is i don't know what you mix! It's such a simple thing. Tamarind extract and adding sugar to it? What's that? That's not chutney! Coming to the coconut chutney.. uff.. just put coconut flakes chilli little bit of tamarind salt and grind it. Then give the tadka. That's it. ! That's chutney. What have you done? Dedicated coconut, then some Thai coconut milk, mixing and giving it as chutney! I mean if you don't know how to prepare food.. then don't serve South Indian.. do whatever you do good not this.. the food was really just for pictures. For a photo, it's just perfect.. for the taste, it is worse than hospital food.

It was great to discover an Indian restaurant that also serves gluten free dishes. Their lamb is really great and the Biryani was something worth going back for, albeit rather spicy.

Cibo indiano autentico eccezionale, merita quando a Berlino

The price/quality ratio is really off here. Food was decent but everything is overpriced I have to think twice before going here next time. Tandoori Chicken Dosa was 18.5 euro with 4 different chutneys in small bowls. Sadly the picture I took is just Classic Dosa from my wife but they are similar in the amount. Chutneys run out quite fast given their small size, plus their flavours are nothing special. Drinks like Mango Lassi costs 5.5 euros for 0.3l and Coke costs 3 euros for merely 0.2l bottle. We had to order 2 Mango Lassi and 2 Cokes because well…they are so small in portion and paid 17 euros in the end just for the drinks. I would have rate the place higher if the price is 30% cheaper. As of now the food&drink quality/quantity is not on par with the premium price. The only bright side is the friendly staff and quick food delivery.

It’s in a very nice neighborhood and super easy to navigate to , they offer both indoor and outdoor sitting. The staff is nice and friendly and welcome you warmly , you can get a hands on menu or scan a barcode on the table for the menu. The food and drinks here are so so good , however my butter chicken was a bit over salty and that’s why I took one star away, other than that everything went great ! Will definitely visit again.
