A very nice all-you-can-eat restaurant, very friendly and also worthwhile.

It was a new experience. Being served by a robot. Fun, for sure. But very loud. And no card payments. For nine people? We all chipped in. The noise was due to the guests, not the restaurant. It was still a nice evening.

The price/performance ratio is okay. (€15 per person) We went for the all-you-can-eat lunch, and I'd say it was more about quantity than quality! It was very loud and uncomfortable. The little robot that zooms around, plays music, and helps the waiter is funny.

This place doesn't even deserve one star. The food was a complete disappointment. The rice, fried noodles, meat, and even the fries tasted rancid. Any Asian takeaway food tastes better. Absolutely NOT recommended!!!

Exactly as expected. The price is unbeatable, especially since drinks, including two alcoholic ones, are included. The fact that cashless payment isn't possible is a two-star deduction. The staff is very friendly, and there's plenty of parking. And they have soft-serve ice cream and a serving cat – thumbs up!

The food is very good, especially considering the price. Our only criticism: the sushi could be better and made with real fish. If that's not feasible, they could simply omit it altogether, but we didn't enjoy it. Everything else is excellent; you can even have food freshly cooked, so we're still giving it 5 stars. We'll definitely be back. The service deserves 6 out of 5 stars. The owners are incredibly friendly—you won't find that anywhere else. Another reason why we'll keep coming back.

I was there for lunch. It was really good value for money, and the little robot that brings food and drinks is funny. Definitely recommended. A minor drawback is the incorrectly positioned or missing labels on the containers at the buffet.

We went for lunch today, and I have to say the quality has declined dramatically over the last two years. The food selection has shrunk significantly; they don't even serve shrimp for lunch anymore. Furthermore, the food tasted completely the same, unseasoned, nothing special. The staff is mostly friendly. I don't even want to talk about the cleanliness; there's sticky stuff everywhere... The restroom doors (door panel) are swollen. The price per person is definitely not justified anymore!!! We personally won't eat here anymore.

Some of the food was still raw. Half of it was missing after frying. Everything was sticky and kind of dirty, and there were people walking around as staff who looked like construction workers. Some of the sushi wasn't there at all, and when it was, it was warm and smelled of fish, not to mention how it looked. Otherwise, the rest was a normal Chinese restaurant. Nothing special, except particularly dirty, disgusting, and weird. The price of €27 per person isn't justified. We left the weird place after 30 minutes and went to McDonald's, just to get something that looked tastier and was cooked well... Never again

Honestly, I can't understand the 5-star reviews. The selection was actually quite good, and the food itself tasted okay. There were also frog legs and salmon and things like that. The sushi, however, was absolutely disappointing; it was simply poorly prepared. Dessert was also just a cheap cake that tasted strongly of "refrigerator." Overall, the food quality wasn't very good. Getting two tap drinks is apparently included, and it was also a good selection. However, I found the price of €27 per person for the buffet to be way too much, considering you only end up getting one plate and maybe one dessert until you're full. When paying, we were also asked where we were sitting; I have no idea if that factored into the price. The price is simply based on the number of people. There's probably a reason why prices aren't advertised anywhere...

Everything's just right here: a wide selection of fresh ingredients, individually combined, fried to perfection, and then brought to your table by a robot. An exciting experience and very good food!

It was our first time there and we were very surprised by the selection and the value for money. We really enjoyed it. We'll be back soon.

I've never eaten so badly. Some of the food was cold. Some dishes were burnt, and the sweet and sour sauce consisted of thickened ketchup. The selection also left a lot to be desired, especially for €27. This, along with the broken tables and chairs, was extremely enchanting. The bent knives, some of which were still dirty, didn't exactly whet one's appetite. Definitely not recommended; even one star is too much.

Disastrous! Hygiene is almost nonexistent. Sushi cutlery is lying freely on the counter, as is other serving cutlery. Tables, clips, and drink menus are sticky. The floor is also sticky. Some of the food was empty or had caked-on crumbs and crusts. The fried food was soggy. Both the aquariums were dirty and poorly maintained. After 40 minutes, we left this all-you-can-eat restaurant and drove to McDonald's across the street because we were hungry. Instead of a restaurant visit, we got an adventure trip with a survival element. Never, never again!

Four of us went to this restaurant last night, July 16, 2025, for the all-you-can-eat buffet. We go there several times a year for various occasions and have been very satisfied each time. There was the usual wide variety of meat, fish, and vegetables, all freshly prepared, as well as a variety of cooked dishes, appetizers, and desserts. This time, I tried, among other things, kangaroo meat with beans. It was professionally grilled and lovingly presented, and brought by the cheerful robot waiter. The freshly baked waffles are also always delicious. It was a lovely evening with friends and delicious food and drinks for €25 per person. We'd be happy to go again!

We went there for dinner today. At first glance, it didn't make a bad impression. But this is deceptive upon closer inspection. The food didn't look that fresh, and it tasted just that way, too. Much of it tasted like it had just been thawed or as if it had been sitting there for hours. The hygiene also left a lot to be desired. After the first plate, you could already get a slight tummy ache. The service was generally satisfactory, and there was a fairly large selection of drinks, but I still can't recommend it. Unless you want a stomachache.

The food was bad, bland, and underseasoned. The buffet selection was beyond meager for a Sunday. The sushi—I've never seen such poorly formed sushi, and any amateur could do a better job. The service was just awful, unfortunately. The ambiance—the chairs were falling apart, and every table had a chair that didn't fit. Anyone who knows good Asian food should steer clear of this place.

We were there as a family and the buffet was always well stocked and clean. The aquarium was full of fingerprints and the toilets were not cleaned regularly (probably only once a day). They were a bit overwhelmed in the kitchen as the food was incorrectly allocated via the server or sent to the wrong tables.

We went for the all-you-can-eat option. It was €25 per person. The selection was gigantic, first the buffet and then the drinks selection 🥰 Not only could you eat as much as you wanted, but you could also drink as much as you wanted if you stuck to the non-alcoholic drinks. The price even included one or two alcoholic drinks per person. If you didn't get your money's worth, it's your own fault! We were stuffed to the brim, and the food was delicious. 😋 You couldn't even try everything they offered 😅 When we're back in Leipzig, we'll definitely be back.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is simple. The price for lunch was reasonable for an all-you-can-eat menu...so if you want to eat a lot, this is the place for you. If you want something more upscale, go elsewhere. They also have a fun robot operator...something for kids.

Unfortunately, the Lucky Boat wasn't for me. I felt like I was in a train station concourse, and some of the food was cold and the selection was so-so.

We were at the Glücksboot (a birthday party) on May 31, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. with eight people. It was once again a fantastic evening. Although the restaurant was busy, the bars were always well-stocked and clean – we really appreciated that. The drinks selection is simply enormous, and the staff is always very polite, friendly, and attentive. We've been coming to the Glücksboot for years and have always been satisfied. We especially liked that my son received a small gift from the staff after paying – that was a really nice gesture. We highly recommend the Glücksboot and are already looking forward to our next visit!

Even though we arrived half an hour early, we received a very friendly welcome, were seated, and were served immediately with our drink requests. We love the wide selection of all-inclusive drinks. The food was freshly prepared and, to our taste, delicious. The selection of dishes is also more than sufficient. We ate here on a midweek Wednesday and were completely satisfied and will definitely be back. Thank you very much.

We were skeptical at first, having read the reviews. But our experience was different. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food selection was varied, as were the drinks. Since there are probably not many guests eating out during the week, the containers weren't overflowing. But there were no empty containers either! To celebrate our 25th anniversary last week, we went to the Glücksboot (Lucky Boat) for the evening buffet. We were pleasantly surprised by the variety of dishes on offer, from freshly prepared dishes to self-selected dishes and buffet-style options. Everything tasted great, and great care was taken to ensure guest satisfaction. The value for money is definitely right here. To my great surprise, a member of staff gave me a small gift and an envelope as I left. Inside was a voucher for our next visit. We were very pleased about that. Thank you for the kind gesture.

We have been to the “Glücksboot” several times, unfortunately it will probably be the last time. First the positive: The very large room is stylishly furnished, the staff is quite friendly, the selection of food is very large in the area of ​​fresh meat, fish and vegetables, which you can have prepared (even if some are still frozen). Unfortunately there was very little choice of "ready" food, strange things were breaded (breaded surimi???), the spring rolls were dry and had hardly any vegetables in them, the fried shrimp were mixed with corn. There was only one ready-made soup (Peking soup); at a soup bar you could put together your own wonton soup and have it freshly prepared. A great thing in itself, unfortunately the end result didn't taste great. Very unfortunate. At least the desserts were delicious. Nevertheless, you can no longer give a recommendation with a clear conscience.

You're lucky if you don't have vomiting diarrhea afterwards. Anyone who voluntarily goes back here after a visit or recommends it to someone really has no taste and no feeling of disgust. Plus, probably an infinite amount of money. €26 per person is really way too much for what you get. The fish stank to high heaven and in addition to having hair in the salad dressing, it was also absolutely mangy. The tables and counters were all dirty and the floor was so sticky, even though that shouldn't have been possible because of the dust, dirt and leftover food. The cutlery also had real streaks and clumps of dirt on it. Luckily there were drinks in closed bottles, such as Paulaner Spezi, Mio Mio Cola Zero or apple spritzer from Aldi. Finally, I would like to say a few words about the other visitors. It is an absolute impudence to push forward, push and shout at the other guests in a queue where you can easily wait 20-30 minutes, just because the children (5-7 years old) “want” something. Then clearing everything out and letting the children tackle everything with their hands after they have cleaned themselves in every orifice is really the bottom drawer. I cannot recommend it in any way and will not set foot in this shed again. I'll spare you photos!

At Glücksboot you have THE Asian “all you can eat” experience if you accept that there is only self-service. Here you can really fill your stomach with all sorts of fine Asian specialties for a good fixed price. I find the quality of the food to be really good and I can't complain here. It's interesting that you can bring raw meat such as chicken, duck or other varying meat (for us most recently kangaroo👌), various fish and vegetables to the grill/tepanyaki - the finished dish you put together yourself is then served to you on your plate by a moving robot brought to the table - Nice. The dessert is also great - the kids are always very happy! The price includes 2 soft drinks (no liquor). The downside to all of my visits so far has been the volume, because since it is always busy and full, it is of course correspondingly loud. Otherwise, I can definitely recommend a visit! 👍 Addendum: I actually can't understand some of the negative reviews. Above all, I found the restaurant to be clean. As of: end of November 2024

Ich war begeistert von diesem Restaurant, das Angebot an Speisen ist hervorragend ,die Atmosphäre hat mir sehr gefallen. Der Servier-roboter ist ein Erlebnis für Kinder. Wir hatten eine Familiengeburtstagsfeier. Endlich musst du mal keiner mehr an seinem Platz sitzen, ohne sich zu bewegen . Bedienung war sehr freundlich, alles ordentlich ,kann ich nur jeden empfehlen. Der Festpreis ist sehr moderat, für diese große Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken. Gerne immer wieder.

However, the lunch buffet quickly ensured that the lucky boat would be headed for when it was time for refreshments. The buffet offers a good selection of fresh dishes. The ambience, atmosphere and food resembles a rocky 3-star hotel. Next to our table it was messy, stacked chairs, a rubber glove, everything seems messy and not clean. The buffet was unappetizingly prepared, careless and what I ate didn't taste good. The sauces are completely over-seasoned with soy sauce. I had shrimp fried and they were served cold by a robot 30 minutes later. I'm still at a loss for words. Never again!

We were here once for the lunch buffet and once for the evening buffet, my review refers to the last visit to the evening buffet during the week. The sushi was disastrous. Very little choice, far too much rice, just doesn't taste good. The fish selection for the grill wasn't bad, although the result was burnt and undercooked. Really a shame. The ice was crystallized. I didn't try all of the Asian dishes, what I did taste didn't taste good at all and was of a much lower quality than what the average Asian eats. The soft drinks from the dispenser had neither gas nor taste, but the selection of drinks in the refrigerators was satisfactory. The soft ice cream was delicious. The cake was fine. There was no waffle batter for the waffle iron. The coffee machine was broken but was repaired. Conclusion: I would not visit the restaurant again because my expectations at the evening buffet were not even met. This would be: Sushi of at least supermarket quality, non-crystallized ice, cooked, unfired fish on the grill and Asian dishes that you don't have to suffer through. Of course the restaurant has to make a profit, but not by eating food that is too salty so that you have to drink a lot of fluids and become full quickly.
