We stopped by spontaneously. Idyllically located. The restaurant is a bit small, but extremely cozy. Lovely beer garden under large trees. There's also a small playground. Extremely nice and friendly staff, up for a little joke. The food came quickly and was delicious. Highly recommended. We'll be back.

The menu included roast pork, which had probably been sitting for a while, and the sauce was packaged. My wife had pancake soup. Unfortunately, the pancakes weren't warm and were definitely pre-frozen. I would accept both if the prices were lowered; at the prices they charge, I expect completely fresh ingredients. The server was very accommodating. The location is very nice.

Too bad, this was our second time here. We were really impressed the first time. Today, unfortunately, we were totally disappointed. It took 40 minutes for the drinks to arrive. The food was similar, and then the wrong one, too. Very annoying. When I asked about a missing side dish, the manager just made a rude comment. Too bad. The food was average. After I didn't tip (I come from a restaurant background and ALWAYS tip), I got insulted... NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!

This evening, the three of us went to Gitti's in glorious beer garden weather. Naturally, the beer garden was packed. Roni told us it might take one to two hours for the food to be ready. A clear message. We stayed and were not disappointed. The dedicated team provided us with drinks and had the place completely under control. Our food arrived after an hour and was to our complete satisfaction. We can only take our hats off to how calm you were amidst all the stress; that speaks volumes. To top it all off, we were given a shot on the house to thank you for the wait. Thank you for the lovely evening.

We're there almost every Sunday lunchtime, and the food always arrives within 15-20 minutes. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There's nothing to complain about! We've been regular customers since the end of the coronavirus pandemic, and we find few restaurants that can compete with Gitty's Wawi!

Nice little beer garden with plenty of free, shady parking. The owner gave us a friendly welcome (thank goodness we had a reservation). The food was very good, and prices were reasonable for today's prices. The service was friendly. I can't fault it. We did wait almost an hour for our food, and then (for whatever reason) they ran out of Kaiserschmarren. But who knows what circumstances in the kitchen led to this? Since we come from a restaurant background and were neither pressed for time nor starving, we were perfectly understanding. We'll be back :-)

After we (8 people) waited almost 12 hours for our food and asked about it, the landlady came over, insulted us, and banned us from the restaurant. This is not customer service, never again!

The Waldwirtschaft restaurant was recommended to us spontaneously. Unfortunately, we couldn't make a reservation, but we still managed to get a table. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere and staff were excellent! If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely stop here again!

We've been going to Gitti's forestry practice for years. We're always very satisfied. Gitti is a warm, ❤️ person, and we'll be happy to see her for many more years to come.

No, very bad service, unfortunately unacceptable behavior towards guests.

Unfortunately, the portions were very small (probably more suited to seniors) and the prices were very high. The pretzels that came with the Obazden were pretzels, like you'd expect from Aldi, and each one cost €1.80. The zander fillet was very small, also with buttered vegetables, like you'd expect from Aldi, but for €22.80 it came with three "parsley" potatoes, although you couldn't taste much of the parsley. It's a shame, as the restaurant has a great ambiance in the forest. I hope the prices come back in line with the quality, or vice versa. Drinks sometimes came on request, and plates were cleared very late.

The wait time was endless, and the service and waitresses were poorly organized. Staff were simply overwhelmed. I'm not giving it a star, but I can't post this without one.

It was actually quite nice there, and the food was good too. What initially made me a little unhappy, and cost me the fifth star, was our waitress's initially brisk manner. When we then approached her with her usual friendly manner (despite her initial faux pas), she immediately switched gears and was friendly, too. But that wasn't necessary.

Gitti’s Waldwirdschaft was a coincidence on our bike tour. A wonderful sauerbraten like I've never had before, sauce delicately seasoned with juniper and gingerbread spice. Plus delicious red cabbage and a perfect potato dumpling. Great ambience, friendly service, fair prices. We are already looking forward to the next visit.

A cozy Bavarian restaurant with good food in a very nice, quiet location. Unfortunately, food and ambience are not the only decisive factor in making you feel comfortable as a guest. The professional role of host doesn't seem to suit Gitti at the moment, otherwise she wouldn't have made a few outrageous comments recently. Since nothing further is known about her exact personal background, we are giving her another chance - and an appropriate assessment. Head up!

There is probably nothing comparable in all of Munich and the surrounding area! Extraordinary ambience (feel-good atmosphere immediately guaranteed), very good and rich food at TOP prices, attentive and very friendly staff! We've always left the restaurant with a smile on our face and we'll definitely be back! Absolutely recommended for anyone who wants a cozy and typically Bavarian atmosphere!

Currently the tastiest Bavarian restaurant in Haar. The Bavarian Restaurant offers a wonderful mix of delicious food, traditional ambience and rustic charm. The dishes taste excellent and are authentically Bavarian - here you can feel that emphasis is placed on quality and regional ingredients. Particularly noteworthy is the wood-burning oven, which creates a warm and cozy atmosphere and ensures an incomparable aroma in the food. The rustic furnishings with lots of wood and loving details allow you to immerse yourself in times gone by and give you the feeling of sitting in a real Bavarian parlor. Perfect for everyone who appreciates comfort and real enjoyment.

The service with the short hair was extremely rude, no nice greeting, no professional manners, on the contrary, just nagging and taking out the frustration on the guests. And in the end we were asked by her to leave the restaurant even though we hadn't even finished drinking and the glasses were still full, with the reason that the next guests were coming. Food was okay, but unfortunately due to the poor service we won't be coming back.

The food was good, it came quickly and was hot, everything as it should. It's very comfortable to sit in the rustic restaurant. A fire flickered in the fireplace. We were served very friendly by Manuela. Price-performance ratio fits. Unfortunately my fried potatoes were a bit very dark, everything else was fine. At the end there was a schnapps of your choice, which was also very good 😋

90% of the time, food always tastes good. Unfortunately, I also had the case that the pork leg was an old sow 😀..... But mostly, as written above, good food. I find the atmosphere very nice. Unfortunately for the service (operation) only 3 out of 5 stars after you checked several times to reorder but you weren't seen. Overall, a visit to the Gitti is worth it Enjoy it

All their food and drinks are delicious, better than most Biergartens in the city (definitely better than any I’ve been to), and the atmosphere is always so cute and hygge and like a fairy forest. They’re always so nice to us when we come in. So happy this is my local Biergarten :)

A cozy spot in the middle of the city, but it feels like you're sitting somewhere in a forest. I can recommend the roast pork with an excellent dark beer sauce and there are discounts for senior citizens, which is a very social attitude! There should be more restaurants picking up this idea. Otherwise the prices are a bit high and you don't always get friendly service, but our waitress was very obliging!

Nice location! Unfortunately the service was a bit annoyed. Unfortunately we had to wait a long time for the food because a wedding party was served first, but we received a greeting from the kitchen to tide us over. (Fresh bread and Obazten! It was very good and made it easy to bridge the waiting time. However, I had to wait a long time for my second beer and had to order it three times before it came. We still liked it and will come back.

Do you actually know what Gittie does and is responsible for and what minimal staff we provide to accommodate you? We are all ready and willing to do the best and the fastest! It doesn't always work! Appreciation is welcome! In times of stress, there would be patience and respect very appropriate! AND IF EVERYTHING IS RESERVED? THAT'S IT! It doesn't get any more like running and creating! Unfortunately the service was extremely unfriendly and we had to turn around and leave again!!! Everywhere where there are “wapperl” is reserved. Then all the tables were approached, there were “wapperl” everywhere. The service then confirmed this to us in a very unfriendly manner. I have rarely experienced such unfriendly service, what a shame!

Nice "beer garden" with a quiet and pleasant atmosphere. Fried chicken was very dry and the portion was rather small. Potato salad and drinks were great. Service was also ok 👍🏻 The parking options in front of the door are great.

The beer garden at the post office has lost a lot in terms of ambience and service, but Gitti in the Waldwirtachaft is even better. Price performance really good.

A few days ago I visited Gittis Waldwirtschaft for the first time and was fascinated by the warmth of the hostess and the rustic ambience. The portions are plentiful and the taste is exactly what you would expect from a Bavarian restaurant. The waitress was also super funny and friendly. Steffi always has a funny saying and is up for fun. What I would particularly like to praise here is the plate for seniors; Here seniors get a 50% discount for the adjusted portions. It's really absolutely great that the seniors are thought of with so much heart. I can only recommend this place to everyone!!!!! Here you get a great evening at absolutely fair prices. A really great restaurant. The service was perfect and very friendly. We had two wonderful evenings and the food was outstanding. I still dream about Gitti's Waldwirtschaftsburger today.

We were traveling in the Munich area and felt hungry and thirsty. Thank goodness Google recommended this economy to us. We looked for a place and found it. Then a wonderful afternoon began. We grabbed a quick, freshly tapped beer and afterwards we had a nice little something to eat. We immediately started talking to the sharp innkeeper. So warm and entertaining, even with the other guests... Simply great and always happy. Best wishes to Gitti and her great team The guys from Ravensburg :-)

Been to this forest restaurant for the first time! I wanted to check out the atmosphere for a class reunion. Beer garden is nice, there are enough parking spaces, it's a bit hidden but I think it's good. Unfortunately, I think the lighting in the restaurant is too dim. The food was good to average. But what didn't fit at all was that the restaurant closed at 9 p.m. instead of 11 p.m. as stated. Because me and my wife were the last "GUESTS". That was like being thrown out! In the background I heard the boss say an unfriendly sentence to the waitress. In any case, that was my only and last visit to this restaurant. Could have been a class reunion! A pity.
