A great restaurant with excellent food and extremely friendly service! We had avocado and fries for starters, and pizza and salmon for main courses. Both were delicious and we would recommend them. The place itself is very stylishly decorated, and the crowd is very diverse. The only minor criticism we have is that the noise level in the place was quite loud. This could have been due to the customers, but regardless of that, we would definitely recommend the place.

I can't recommend Giosy at all...otherwise I won't get a place anymore😜 ...that's why I don't mention that it's always worth taking something from the creative, changing daily menu. The kitchen always conjures up varied dishes, the staff is great anyway, the atmosphere is brilliant... but I just won't tell you 🤫

I have rarely been so positively surprised by a restaurant. On our first visit we didn't like the store at all. The food wasn't good, the prices were too high and the atmosphere was very stressful. My wife and I recently gave the restaurant another chance and were blown away. She had a chicken fricasse and I had a rump steak. The fricasses tasted wonderful, like it was made from scratch. My mother couldn't have done it any better. The rump steak was a dream and immediately made it into the top 5 of the best steaks I have eaten so far. The staff was attentive, really friendly but in no way fake. People work there who still enjoy their job. The prices are more than reasonable for the quality offered. Either we were unlucky on our first visit or the restaurant did a 180 degree turnaround. Be that as it may, we are happy that the Giosy enriches the culinary offerings in Oberbilk.

Definitely try it out! A nice restaurant where you feel very comfortable. The food was excellent from the starter to the dessert. But above all, we were impressed by the service. It's rare to find such friendly and, above all, attentive staff. We were more than well served. And that's why we'll keep coming back. From now on you have new regular guests and thank you again for the lovely evening!

The atmosphere of the place is comfortable and good. Unfortunately, I found the price-quality ratio of the food to be too expensive. A citizen of 20€ who doesn't even have a sauce, the meat doesn't taste particularly good and was dry is rather weak.

We were at Giosy last weekend with family and friends and had a very nice evening. We have known the place for over 10 years, back then it was still a pub and several years of new tenants had not changed anything. But now the guest room has been beautifully modernized - the area is kept open and the colors and decorations are subtle and tasteful. The food was very good, we were extremely enthusiastic about the appetizer platter, where in our opinion everything was really fresh and homemade. The main courses were also convincing. I regretted not trying a special. But there will definitely be a next time ;) We spent a little more time than we had planned, our waiter meant a little too well and gave us a lot of time between the starter and the main course. We'd love to come back!

Everything is great and keeps getting better!!

The Giosy Restaurant has become our regular restaurant. Every time it's delicious, whether it's burgers, pizza or pasta! Every week there is a new daily menu, with meat, fish and vegetarian dishes. So there is something for everyone. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. In summer you can sit outside and in winter in the cozy restaurant. Only recommended!

Have been to the restaurant here before and it was nice as always. The employees are friendly and accommodating. The appetizer came very quickly. The main course took a while to arrive, but I think that's normal at this time of year (Christmas parties). Would love to come back.

❗❗❗RECOMMENDATION ❗❗❗ Small but nice restaurant with bar. The ambience is slightly rustic, like a tavern, but nice and invites you to linger. A manageable menu with changing daily specials where there is something for everyone. Nice starter platter with various antipasti and fresh baguette. The main course was beautifully presented and the steak was very well cooked, exactly the cooking point I ordered. 🟢The highlight was the avocado fries, which I have never eaten in any other restaurant, very tasty.🟢 The whole thing is rounded off with homemade cocktails (also non-alcoholic on request) and top service that is very nice and courteous. The prices are perfectly fine. All in all a good restaurant where you can eat delicious food.

We have known the location for a long time. We finally managed to test the Giosy. A cautious attempt at cocktails from the menu and a tarte flambée. The cocktails are super tasty and are freshly prepared. Not a standard Sausalitos brew, but really good with heart and soul. Maybe a little expensive for Oberbilk, but the price is absolutely justified by the freshness and taste. The tarte flambée was also freshly prepared and leaves nothing to be desired. The staff is super nice! Thank you very much and we will definitely come back.

A culinary delight - I had the cheesesteak burger with fries. The meat of the burger was juicy, tender and full of flavor. Every bite was a confirmation of the quality preparation. The cheese sauce that poured over the meat deserves its own praise. It was creamy, rich in flavor and very well matched to the meat, creating a flavor harmony. The fries were also a highlight. Often a supporting actor, they almost stole the show here. Crispy, perfectly salted and flavored with enough spice, they were far from what you usually expect. Not only did they complement the burger, they confidently stood on their own, which is a rarity with side dishes, especially fries. All in all, this dining experience was one to remember and definitely deserves to be repeated. Anyone looking for a satisfying, hearty and tasty meal is in good hands here.

We've wanted to go there for a long time, we were there and the map was very nice. The attentive service was quick and courteous, there was dip and bread first, then the burgers. The price is robust BUT when the food came and you are a gourmet like me, then the price is not the main focus. In short: It was very tasty 😋 and really a hit / the avocado fries are highly recommended... Mega!!! We'll be back and definitely keep it up. The only thing that bothered me personally was the cool draft from the air conditioning, but next time I'll sit somewhere else or let you know. So.. Gladly again.

The food was really good. The ambience is nice. Unfortunately unfortunately the service ruined everything. There were 8 of them. 20 minutes until drinks have been consumed. Every time we wanted something to drink, we had to ask the service. No active sales. The quality of the food was good. The map is nice too. Unfortunately, only 2 meals were brought... another 20 minutes later another 3 meals.... Note to the service... that it would be nice to eat together... the last 3 meals will be served in 3 minutes served... according to service... another 20-30 minutes passed. That was absolutely nothing. Mistakes can happen.... Put some bread on the table in the meantime.... a few dips and a note that it will take a while.... then everything will be fine. Instead after the meal... Service statement: you ate everything, then it probably wasn't so bad. Our message didn't get through. That was a lousy performance. The store deserved more

Went there for the first time today based on a recommendation and I have to say, great. Great atmosphere, service I have to say was very attentive. 👌🏼We waited a while for the food, but we were told it could take a little longer. The wait was definitely worth it, someone knows his work. We'll definitely come again .

Am 12.12 habe ich meine Mitarbeiter vom Hotel Am Volksgarten ins „Giosy“ zum Weihnachtsessen eingeladen. Nicht nur weil es in direkter Nachbarschaft zum Hotel liegt, wir wollten endlich mal hin. Sehr freundliche Kollegen. Aufmerksamer dezenter Service. Ausgesprochen pfiffige Karte Das Essen war wirklich Klasse. Eine absolute Bereicherung für Oberbilk ! Das Restaurant selbst ist toll eingerichtet und von den Toiletten kann sich so manch ein Restaurant eine Scheibe abschneiden. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder. Macht bitte weiter so. Wir haben online reserviert und wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Die gemischte Vorspeise, der Burger, der Sauerbraten (Tagesgericht), sowie die Nudeln mit Scampis waren wirklich ausgezeichnet. Wir vermuten, dass der Koch in einem recht guten Betrieb sein Handwerk gelernt hat. Der super nette Service sorgt für einen echten Wohlfühlabend. Vielen Dank! Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Wir waren heute vor einem Konzert dort. Obwohl wir ohne Reservierung kamen, haben wir ohne Probleme einen Tisch bekommen. Da sie wussten, dass wir noch weiter müssen kam das Essen auch wie angekündigt nach ca. 30 Minuten, was uns einen stressfreien Abend ermöglicht hat. Das Essen war super lecker, das Ambiente im Restaurant richtig gemütlich und es lief zudem auch noch sehr schöne Musik. Kellner Fabi hat uns hervorragend versorgt. Alle anderen Kellner waren auch total freundlich. Dieses Restaurant würden wir aufjedenfall weiterempfehlen wenn man mal in der Gegend ein Restaurant sucht :)

Eins meiner favorite Restaurants in Düsseldorf und das Beste in Oberbilk. Die Karte bietet eine große Auswahl und ist geschmacklich und qualitativ top. Die stetig wechselnde Tageskarte bietet eine klasse Abwechslung zu der Standartkarte und auch auf kleine Änderungswünsche beim Essen wird eingegangen. Das Personal ist auch im Stress sehr aufmerksam und freundlich, insbesondere Egit war einfach fantastisch. Immer wieder gerne 🫶🏼

Super Location Top Service Leistung und richtig gutes Essen!

Ich kann die 4,8 Sterne Bewertung leider nicht nachempfinden. Haben 1 1/2 h auf unser Essen gewartet. Es hat leider nicht geschmeckt. Fleisch war nicht durch, Saucen waren Fertig-Saucen. Falalafel war auch nicht selber gemacht. Pizza war sehr trocken. Burger-Patty verbrannt. Dazu war es auch noch teuer.

Eine Bereicherung für Oberbilk! Lecker Essen, super Portionen, sehr sehr netter Service! Freue mich auf das nächste mal!

We are so happy to have tried this new place in our area. Simple Bistro style atmosphere with a small terrace. Staff was immediately very friendly, service was quick, longdrinks were dosed perfectly and the food was pretty great, for a price that remains very reasonable. We had gnocchi gorgonzola, smashed bbq and bacon cheeseburger, avocadofries and everything was delicious with just enough originality in the prep and sauces to make it stand out from the rest. I honestly recommend a visit! We need more places like this in the neighborhood, with actual quality and high standards for both service and food. Thanks Giosy Team, and see you again very soon!
