We were there in the evening just before the kitchen closed and were still able to order dinner with a starter without any problems. The service was very nice. The atmosphere in the square in front of the church is very nice and inviting.

Unfortunately the pizza wasn't baked properly and wasn't crispy at all. The waitresses seemed haphazard and even had to ask what drinks we had.

Today we went to the Gianni in Neustadt with a larger group. An incredibly great location, everything is inviting and a well-equipped restaurant with attention to detail. The food is all made with fresh ingredients and you can taste that in every single dish. The asparagus menu was very extensive and we were all extremely satisfied! A successful stay. You can tell that a whole family is working here and doing so with a lot of passion ❤️ We'll definitely be back very soon... just for the homemade ravioli and the baby calamari 👌👌

Everything perfect! Best fish quality in the whole of Rhineland Palatinate and the surrounding area. Great stone oven pizzas. Antipasti are far from being beaten either. I mention the staff at the end because, as we all know, the best comes at the end: familiar, authentic and ITALIAN, which is what no other supposed Italian in Neustadt has to offer! The young men who enrich the service alongside the hard-working family are all great! Keep it up! We always enjoy coming back and look forward to seeing you again! Thank you that you exist.

Yesterday we were out among the girls in Neustadt in spring temperatures. We headed towards the market square and saw the Gianni. A beautiful spot almost like Bella Italia on the piazza. At least 100 guests were sitting in the sun with wine and pasta (and more). We We just got a table for 4. Nice staff took care of us immediately. We ordered the following: mixed fish platter with rosemary potatoes which was outstanding. My friend chose the Pizza Grudo, all the ingredients were very fresh and beautifully presented plates. Gnocchi are homemade and also the tagliatelle .This restaurant is a family business.Despite the many guests, they tried to do justice to each individual guest. A big compliment also to the boss, who comes across as very warm.We will come back.Keep it up

As a native of Neustadt, I can clearly say that this restaurant gianni is an indispensable part of Neustadt. A true Italian family who do their work with passion. The dishes are prepared in traditional, original Italian style Yesterday we had the Italian Cordeun bleu with homemade pasta fruity tomato sauce. And I decided on the veal cutlet with stone pepper risotto. The tiramisu was also delicious, especially because it was alcohol-free. A big thank you to Gianni Neustadt, who has become a big part of our beautiful city.

We were there spontaneously on a Sunday when the weather was nice. All hell broke loose and yet we were looked after quickly by a very kind, hard-working team. We had salad and pizza and both were exceptionally good. The price-performance is right.

The food was delicious and the service was really friendly. Unfortunately, the waiting time was incredibly long (really far too long) and it wasn't just us - the people at the table next to us eventually got up and left because no one wanted to take their order. Any indication that you can only pay in cash and not by card would have been great too. Because of this, or because of the payment problem at the end, it ended up happening so quickly that when I did the math I also realized that I was being charged significantly too much money... It really annoys me, but it's somehow my own fault, so checked off. I can recommend pizza ;-) and the dishes for the kids were also great and absolutely sufficient.

Beware of rip-offs! Be sure to ask about the prices when purchasing your day ticket! Half carpaccio and half vitello tonnato €21.90. When it comes to wine, make sure that the glasses have a calibration mark. Wine is on the menu at €7 for 0.25l. But there was only 0.2 liters in the glass. Calamari with spaghetti aglio olio without garlic, over €32 for a manageable portion! Service was friendly but the restaurant is not recommended!

Rude employees, no cash payment possible ("for reasons")

I was looking forward to delicious pizza, but was totally disappointed. The edge was far too thick and the bottom wasn't all the way through. You also couldn't cut the pizza well, sharp knives would be an advantage. At the end I had half of the dough left over, you could have made a complete pizza here for the price of 13.50 euros. I then informed her of the terms and conditions and she also apologized and thanked her for it. However, we won't eat here again. Too bad.

My fiancé and I ate there for the first time the day before yesterday and what can I say? It was really really tasty. We had bruschetta as a starter, both a main course and Nutella tiramisu and panna cotta as dessert. Everything was really lovingly prepared and tasted fantastic. The service was also very good. We were asked if everything was okay, but it was to a very pleasant extent so that we felt comfortable. It took a while for the food to arrive, but given the circumstances of it being Valentine's Day and the store being full, that was absolutely normal and didn't bother us. It has been decorated very nicely. For Valentine's Day, a heart balloon garland was hung and there were other sweet heart balloons. That looked very nice. In general, the ambience invites you to feel good. Just like the employees. They were very attentive and warm. It was a very nice experience to eat there. We both said afterwards that although it was the first time, it definitely wouldn't be the last time. Hopefully we'll see each other again soon! 🥰 Thank you for the lovely evening! It was really great!

It was our first time there, the food was delicious, the service was very pleasant, everyone was attentive and friendly. I had a “winter” salad with fillet strips and vegetables, it was really well done, I liked it very much, even the dressing was perfect. Everything was fresh and even the bread came freshly baked from the kitchen. The pizza was excellent, perfect crust. Great, we'll definitely come back ;o)

The restaurant is very nice but maybe Friday was very busy or we came too late for dinner - 7:30 p.m. - but the person who served us wasn't that attentive, even a bit unfriendly. We ordered salads, everything was fresh and the dressing was very good... but there was hardly any Mediterranean vegetables to be seen, I even found broken shells of mussels... although I didn't order any seafood salad :/ The meat from the other salad was too dry... Part of the order was forgotten and when we said it, it somehow didn't matter. I hope the Gianni Restaurant team takes these comments seriously. It is good and important to see the mistakes instead of ignoring them.

I am blown away by this great restaurant! Went there with the family last night and had this sensational Argentinian roast beef with porcini mushroom risotto and duo fish with aglia olio spaghetti and the pasta truffle, pizza and salad, all super tasty. Service was super nice, the whole family was warm and attentive. Boss child-friendly and totally lovable. We will be back

We went to Gianni Neustadt for the third time today and I have to say it was by far the best restaurant we have ever visited! Food and service unique Children up to 6 Eat for free! We are thrilled and love this friendly family. The boss is warm and the siblings are totally adorable 😍😍😍😍

We always like to come back, Italian menu with an additional changing weekly menu. We've enjoyed everything so far! Always freshly prepared and tastefully presented. Due to the repeated delivery of fresh fish and seafood, we can definitely recommend these dishes; you can taste the freshness and briefly feel like you are on holiday by the sea! A very friendly and courteous service, a family business with its heart in the right place that is happy to implement customers' wishes. Overall a great atmosphere, inside and out!

Ich war mit einer Freundin auf der kurzfristigen Suche nach einem guten Restaurant. Im Gianni wurde wir sehr freundlich von Patricia (Chefin) empfangen. Da sie merkte, dass wir es eilig haben, kam das Essen sehr zügig an unseren Tisch. Unsere Pizza mit Mozzarella und Rucula war sehr lecker. Alles in allem war alles super, Service, Ambiente und natürlich das Essen. Gerne kommen wir wieder:)

Sehr sehr leckere Pizza!! Die Inhaberin ist sehr herzlich und wir haben direkt ohne Reservierung einen Tisch bekommen. Die Zubereitung war auch sehr schnell. Insgesamt kann man sagen, dass das Essen super lecker ist und das Restaurant eine gemütliche Atmosphäre hat. Werde es auf jeden Fall noch öfter besuchen :)

Der süditalienische Flair liegt hier im Detail, wundervolles kleines Ambiente im EG sowie exzellenter Service. Die Qualität der Gerichte ist vorzüglich. Die Pizza ist die Bestellung wert. Ein Italiener zu dem ich gerne wieder komme.

Wir hatten heute einen tollen Mädelstag in Neustadt. Den Abschluss machten wir im Ristorante Gianni. Das Essen war optisch und geschmacklich großartig. Der Service war super nett. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder🥰

Wir waren am späten Nachmittag dort und haben daher Cappuccino und Tiramisu zu uns genommen. Man sitzt draußen wirklich klasse mit Blick auf die beiden Kirchen, das Rathaus sowie die Berge und Weinreben dahinter. Unser Kellner war super freundlich und hilfsbereit, ohne sich anzubiedern: perfekt! Leider sind wir nicht bis zum Abend geblieben, um richtig zu essen, doch das wird irgendwann nachgeholt. Das Tiramisu war hervorragend!

Der Service perfekt, das Essen vorzüglich, durchweg habe ich keinerlei Grund zur Klage nur ein ganz großes Lob ! Ich komme ganz sicher wieder!

Sehr leckeres Essen mit kurzen Wartezeiten, auch wenn etwas mehr los ist. Die Himbeer-Minze Limonade ist sehr zu empfehlen. Das Personal ist freundlich und aufmerksam, insgesamt ein sehr guter Aufenthalt👍🏼

Bei diesem Restaurant merkt man als Gast direkt, dass die Betreiberfamilie mit Herz beim Service und in der Küche ist. Die Bedienung erfolgt freundlich und zuvorkommend, die Küche hält innovative und handwerklich toll zubereitete Produkte bereit, ebenso die Weinkarte lädt zum Genießen ein. Und am Ende eines Abends ist auch noch Zeit für einen kurzen Plausch, insgesamt ein sehr empfehlenswertes Ristorante in schöner Lage

Der Service ist unschlagbar. Super nett und sympathisch, ich habe mich noch nie wohler gefühlt. Sogar für meinen Hund gab es ungefragt eine Schüssel Wasser und von den Inhabern dann auch noch Leckerlis. Einige Gerichte die auf der Karte angeboten wurden waren ausverkauft, was aber darauf beruht das hier alles frisch und selbst hergestellt wird. Wir bekamen dann unkompliziert eine super Alternative aus der Küche gezaubert, und fanden das dann richtig toll. Das Essen war wirklich lecker, wir hatten Vorspeisen, Hauptgänge und Desserts. Klare Empfehlung, und wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Essen war sehr gut. Kinder unter 6 bekommen es sogar umsonst.

Lage ist nett. Aber Service lustlos und unaufmerksam. Essen war schlecht, wenig und teuer. Ohne Liebe zubereitet, der Teller war schmutzig und die Deko war eine Karotten Schale …Schade.

Super Essen sowie eine nette Familie führen ein kompetentes Restaurant, außerdem sind sie extrem kinderfreundlich.

Vorsicht keine Preise auf der Tageskarte. Teuer und unterdurchschnittlich. Dorade mit Limettenrisotto: Dorade sehr trocken, Risotto sauer mit lediglich zitronenscheiben drin. Spagetti mit Tintenfisch für 27€: geschmacklich OK aber mini Portion.

Wir sind immer wieder gerne Gäste. Das Essen ist immer frisch und sehr lecker. Der Service ist aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Besonders an warmen Sommerabenden ist es wunderschön, draußen auf dem Marktplatz neben der Stiftskirche zu sitzen.

Wir waren heute zum zweiten Mal zu Gast im Ristorante Gianni. Das Essen ist qualitativ hochwertig und soweit ich beurteilen kann sehr authentisch. Die Inhaberin ist sehr freundlich und das Team zuvorkommend. Was aber besonders hervorzuheben ist: dieses Restaurant sucht in Punkto Familienfreundlichkeit in Deutschland seinesgleichen. Wir haben zwei Töchter (1 und 3) und fühlen uns hier sehr willkommen, auch wenn mit kleinen Kindern auch mal was auf den Boden fällt oder es auch mal etwas lauter werden kann. Noch dazu essen Kinder bis zum 6. Lebensjahr kostenlos. Danke liebes Restaurant Team und bis bald mal wieder!

Gran bel Locale. Na komm, italienisch bei Seite, ich dachte mir es sei wieder ein Italiener der einen auf Italiener macht, aber ich wurde eines Besseren belehrt. Das Lokal mag zwar klein sein, aber es beeindruckt mit seiner feinen italienisch einladenden Atmosphäre. Besonders für mittelgroße Gruppen oder ganz besonders romantischen Verabredungen ist es äußerst empfehlenswert. Die zentrale Lage macht es zu einem idealen Spot für ein erstes Rende Vous zu zweit, welches problemlos zu erreichen ist. Insgesamt kann ich das Gianni's wärmstens empfehlen, try it out!

Die Beratung zum Essen super und das Essen selbst sehr lecker- einer der besten Italiener hier im Umkreis! - Alles Frisch und die Zutaten top Qualität! Tolles Abendessen in schönem Ambiente. Trotz unserer großen Gruppe von 12 Personen, bekamen wir einen sehr freundlichen, professionellen und zügigen Service.

Wir waren mit unseren beiden Kindern (ein und vier Jahre alt) hier zum Abendessen. Der Service ist mehr als freundlich, vorallem der kinderfreundliche Service ist toll. Kinder essen hier kostenlos und dürfen auch essen wie sie möchten. Keine "schiefen Blicke" oder störende Kommentare. Wir als Familie fühlen uns mehr als willkommen. Und das wichtigste- das Essen war seeehr lecker, frisch und schnell zubereitet. Außerdem glutenfreie Nudeln, was ebenfalls super für uns war. Getränke und Ambiente ebenfalls top! Gerne immer wieder !

Dieses Lokal ist sehr zu empfehlen. Das Ambiente ist wirklich sehr schön mit dem besten Platz der Stadt. das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und das Essen ist wirklich grandios. Sehr zu empfehlen

Mir hat das Essen dort sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Größe der Portion war Perfekt. Der Service war hervorragend. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Am aller Besten war aber das Ambiente dort, die Atmosphäre war einfach der Wahnsinn.
