Highly recommended! The service is very attentive and friendly. The food is very tasty, but quite pork-heavy. We had an aperitif, a main course with chanterelle sauce, salad, and red wine, so my price is accordingly. Please note that the opening hours are from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., so it might take some getting used to.

A small, cozy restaurant with very friendly service. Our food was delicious and attractively presented. Reservations are recommended. The terrace is beautiful with a view of Königstein Fortress.

The food was delicious, with a great combination and decor. We had the potato with teriyaki chicken and the Quarkkeulchen (curd dumplings) for dessert. The atmosphere is also very cozy, and the two waitresses were very nice. We would come again, but we're only in the area for a few days.

If you eat here three times in three consecutive days, that probably says a lot about your satisfaction with the restaurant. Okay, some might say that the restaurant selection in Königstein is limited. True, but that wouldn't do the restaurant justice. And the fact that I ate the same thing two out of three times has nothing to do with the menu. The menu also offers a wide variety of dishes – including vegan options! The food here is really very good. The two waitresses are super friendly, and the cuisine is excellent. The restaurant itself is decorated with great care and attention to detail. Someone has put a lot of thought into it! Thank you very much for the lovely evening you provided for us. We'll be back on Friday (unfortunately, it's closed Wednesday and Thursday ;-( )

Unfortunately, not 4.8 stars. The maximum possible rating is 4 stars. We were able to get a seat despite the crowd, which was very helpful. The food was okay. The burger was good, and the bowls looked better than they actually were. The kids' pasta, unfortunately, lacked flavor (more like canned tomatoes than tomato sauce).

Top, highly recommended. Delicious food, friendly and attentive staff, and a beautiful interior. The prices are reasonable, too. We were there on a very warm day and had the choice between the outdoor seating area and the cool interior.

Absolutely top place! For example, the pork steaks were perfect: cooked just right, juicy and the mushroom+cheese topping was heavenly. The vegan dishes were also praised and they were also quite impressive. Stylish restaurant space, fast and friendly service. Also available are local wines from the Elbe Valley. It's probably worth making a reservation during peak times. We still got a table on Friday around 5 pm, but the later evening was already sold out.

The team behind this restaurant really does everything right. We had dinner here on vacation and reserved a table with our dog. When we arrived there was already a bowl of water at our place and a small plate with treats on the table. I have never seen anything so attentive in any restaurant. Apart from that, the service was absolutely attentive, very, very friendly and really did everything right. The food was - as expected - of course excellent! If you don't eat dinner here, it's your own fault! Absolutely everything perfect!

Beautiful and lovingly furnished vaulted restaurant - small but nice. A friendly team looks after its guests with delicious food and drinks in a cozy atmosphere. We also highly recommend a separate room that is set up as an “alpine snack” and invites you to celebrate.

Simply WOW, we were here today as a family with our 3 children and dog. The service was very friendly and also very attentive. The dog was brought water as soon as we sat down without us having to ask for it. The children were given a very funny children's card to make them smile and then they were allowed to color it with colored pencils. There is also a box with a few books and small games. The food was served after a short time. What can you say, all 5 of us were thrilled with our respective dishes. The taste is really great!! The portions were really generous and you fill up well. A huge compliment to the kitchen here. The restaurant is nicely decorated and the arches on the ceiling are great. Quiet background music rounds it all off. Great, if you are nearby, a visit here is highly recommended.

We were guests in the vaulted cellar on December 30, 2024 and felt welcome from the start. Despite the house being fully booked, the extremely friendly staff made it possible for us to have a cozy dinner on New Year's Eve Thank you for that. We are very happy to recommend your house.

Actually quite nice, but totally disappointed at Christmas. A ROBBER PLATE for almost 7 euros. This is beyond outrageous, I still can't believe it today. Lucky that this was only seen at home. Sporty prices, not a main course under 22 euros and then the meat is fried to death. I'm happy to pay that, but the quality has to be right. Unfortunately we couldn't convince the rest of the family, understandably. Very unfortunate.

First of all: advance reservations are highly recommended as the restaurant is rightly very busy. We were lucky enough to get a spot here on two evenings. The staff is super friendly, courteous and competent. In my opinion, special considerations due to gluten intolerance were addressed very well. There is a good selection of dishes on the menu, so our fellow travelers who eat less meat were also able to find what they were looking for.

The staff is nice, but a schnitzel with cauliflower gives a taste combination that was really disappointing. The schnitzel was also dry and tough. I won't be coming back here again.

It was just great! My partner and I were in Königstein for the first time and were here on our first evening. We were able to reserve a table for two at short notice, which I would recommend because the restaurant is very busy. The food came to the table hot and was delicious. My partner even told me today that it was the best restaurant she had ever eaten at. I agree with that. The atmosphere in this vault is simply cozy. We will definitely come back.

It looked nice from the outside, the service was nice, but the food was a disaster. Frozen schnitzel from the supermarket, sauce mixed together from powder. It had snack quality. That for 20€. There was nothing homemade on the plates, everything was quick and cheap. The dishes listed below were not available to choose from. I had schnitzel with cauliflower, before that the garlic soup.

Really recommended across the board. Friendly welcome, nice location, everything clean, food very good and, above all, very nice to look at. Drink replenishment also works wonderfully. Gladly again.
