We spontaneously got a table. We are thrilled. We liked it very much. Had teriyaki bowl with chicken and steak au four. Very spicy and more than sufficient portions. We can also highly recommend the garlic cream soup as a starter.

The food is fantastic, as is the service. It's the little things that just fit us like a glove. Absolutely nothing to complain about, it was nice to have service staff again who knew exactly how to look after their guests.

Deductions when it comes to food, as smaller things can be improved: e.g. The breading of the schnitzel is very simple and doesn't rise and the portion size is a bit small for the type of restaurant. Very nice, courteous service, the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. It allows you to slow down and enjoy the time. The food is beautifully presented and very tasty, I haven't eaten this well in a long time. We had schnitzel “Jäger Art”, Saxon giant cabbage wrap and potato “chicken teriyaki”. We would love to come back.

The team behind this restaurant really does everything right. We had dinner here on vacation and reserved a table with our dog. When we arrived there was already a bowl of water at our place and a small plate with treats on the table. I have never seen anything so attentive in any restaurant. Apart from that, the service was absolutely attentive, very, very friendly and really did everything right. The food was - as expected - of course excellent! If you don't eat dinner here, it's your own fault! Absolutely everything perfect!

Beautiful and lovingly furnished vaulted restaurant - small but nice. A friendly team looks after its guests with delicious food and drinks in a cozy atmosphere. We also highly recommend a separate room that is set up as an “alpine snack” and invites you to celebrate.

Simply WOW, we were here today as a family with our 3 children and dog. The service was very friendly and also very attentive. The dog was brought water as soon as we sat down without us having to ask for it. The children were given a very funny children's card to make them smile and then they were allowed to color it with colored pencils. There is also a box with a few books and small games. The food was served after a short time. What can you say, all 5 of us were thrilled with our respective dishes. The taste is really great!! The portions were really generous and you fill up well. A huge compliment to the kitchen here. The restaurant is nicely decorated and the arches on the ceiling are great. Quiet background music rounds it all off. Great, if you are nearby, a visit here is highly recommended.

We were happy to find a few vegan dishes on the menu. We can recommend the baked potato with avocado quinoa cream.

We were guests in the vaulted cellar on December 30, 2024 and felt welcome from the start. Despite the house being fully booked, the extremely friendly staff made it possible for us to have a cozy dinner on New Year's Eve Thank you for that. We are very happy to recommend your house.

Actually quite nice, but totally disappointed at Christmas. A ROBBER PLATE for almost 7 euros. This is beyond outrageous, I still can't believe it today. Lucky that this was only seen at home. Sporty prices, not a main course under 22 euros and then the meat is fried to death. I'm happy to pay that, but the quality has to be right. Unfortunately we couldn't convince the rest of the family, understandably. Very unfortunate.

First of all: advance reservations are highly recommended as the restaurant is rightly very busy. We were lucky enough to get a spot here on two evenings. The staff is super friendly, courteous and competent. In my opinion, special considerations due to gluten intolerance were addressed very well. There is a good selection of dishes on the menu, so our fellow travelers who eat less meat were also able to find what they were looking for.

We had our class reunion in the “Happy End” yesterday, everything was very nice. Had a separate room for ourselves. Service was very friendly, food was also great, would love to come back.

The staff is nice, but a schnitzel with cauliflower gives a taste combination that was really disappointing. The schnitzel was also dry and tough. I won't be coming back here again.

It was just great! My partner and I were in Königstein for the first time and were here on our first evening. We were able to reserve a table for two at short notice, which I would recommend because the restaurant is very busy. The food came to the table hot and was delicious. My partner even told me today that it was the best restaurant she had ever eaten at. I agree with that. The atmosphere in this vault is simply cozy. We will definitely come back.

I had a great meal at Königsteiner Schnitzel. We were there unannounced at 4 p.m. and hadn't eaten anything since breakfast and couldn't get a table in the evening, so we made a reservation.

It looked nice from the outside, the service was nice, but the food was a disaster. Frozen schnitzel from the supermarket, sauce mixed together from powder. It had snack quality. That for 20€. There was nothing homemade on the plates, everything was quick and cheap. The dishes listed below were not available to choose from. I had schnitzel with cauliflower, before that the garlic soup.

Really recommended across the board. Friendly welcome, nice location, everything clean, food very good and, above all, very nice to look at. Drink replenishment also works wonderfully. Gladly again.

We spontaneously visited for dinner on our last day of vacation. The name of the restaurant couldn't be more apt. The food was really amazing and was served very quickly. The service was super friendly and attentive. We really liked the location in the old vault. All about an absolutely successful “happy ending”. ;) If only we had become aware of the store sooner...

We went to this restaurant by chance; the one we had previously found in iPhone maps turned out to not exist. I want to start my eulogy with the toilet in the establishment. This is very often a problem area: the food seems to be good and the service is excellent, but the toilet... A latrine. But in this restaurant, respect for visitors is also shown in the way the toilets are decorated and equipped: just like in your beloved home and for your loved one. And clean, neat, and the necessary things, like deodorant, hand cream and hairspray. Of course, I was only in the ladies' room, but from the reviews I realized that the same thing was true in the men's room. About food. It was good quality and well served. Surely, experts would find something to complain about, but I’ll leave that to the experts. Would I order again the dishes that I tried in this restaurant? No, I would rather order others. But definitely, if I happen to be in Königstein again, I know where I will have lunch - at the Happy End restaurant. I hope the service remains at the same high level!

The beer is delicious, the food is terrible. Terribly over-salted meat, which can only be eaten with plenty of liquid. It felt like the potatoes were forgotten in the deep frying - they were mummified. They returned the potatoes, tried to eat the meat, and now everyone has a stomach ache. Apparently, the amount of salt was needed to save the meat that had already gone bad. The room is stuffy, there are no tables outside. At the same time, the prices are quite high.

We had dinner here several times during our vacation and can only HIGHLY recommend the restaurant!!! The food was very nicely prepared and tasted excellent! The crème brûlée was a poem! You will get great food here after a day of hiking in the beautiful Elbe Sandstone Mountains.

A super nice little restaurant, we came there by chance and it more than exceeded our expectations. Very friendly service, nice ambience, well-made menu and sensational food. We went back there the next evening and it was perfect again. Large portions, beautifully presented and a taste explosion. Although it is very hearty, it is not at all heavy on the stomach, an indication that there are only natural ingredients. Stopped here to recharge your batteries after a hike. The service was attentive, nice and friendly. The dish we ordered was made by hand and tasted great because all the spices were balanced.
