Very good food, lovely restaurant, and a lovely beer garden. The sausage salad is amazing.

Unfortunately, due to the bad weather, we could only sit inside. It was far too crowded and too loud, so you had to shout at each other to have a conversation. The food was okay.

The food is really good. It's cozy, but the beer takes some getting used to. I like it.

Absolutely negative experience. We were there on August 2, 2025, at 5:30 PM with eight people. A table was reserved. The seating was good. Initial service and the order were also OK. At least at first glance. I myself had a cream soup with chanterelles as a starter, ordered for €8.90. The soup came in a small soup cup, garnished with a few croutons, and the cup was only two-thirds full. It tasted worse than, for example, Metro instant soups. Not worth the money. Four people received their main courses about 20-25 minutes after ordering. Everything was OK, but these four people were waiting for the main courses of the remaining four people. After they still hadn't arrived after eight to ten minutes, the four people who had already received their dishes started eating their half-cold dishes. After about another 15 minutes, these four people had already finished their plates, and the other four of us still didn't have our main courses. When we asked the waitress, we were told they would be right there. When the dishes were delivered another five minutes later, the waitress explained that the manager would offer us two or three desserts as compensation, to be placed in the middle of the table – the exact words of the waitress. We were given the dessert menu. However, the waitress immediately excluded several desserts, such as the brownie. We lost our appetite. We declined to order dessert, arguing that two or three desserts were a problem for all the guests, and we don't think that's okay. The waitress then responded in a rude and cheeky manner, saying that she hadn't said that, since EVERYONE would have gotten something, but not all eight. This mathematical logic is new to me. Sorry, THIS is the very first time I've written a negative review on Google, but the entire process is unprofessional, not customer- or guest-focused, and demonstrates poor manners. At this point, I can only advise against visiting the restaurant.

We were at the restaurant with eight people – unfortunately, it was a completely disappointing experience. The food for the first four guests arrived relatively quickly, but the other four had to wait over 30 minutes longer – only after the first four had finished did the rest arrive. Eating together was therefore impossible. The service was completely overwhelmed, disorganized, and showed little effort to resolve the situation or respond in a friendly manner. Overall, unfortunately, I would not recommend it.

Nice German cuisine, the prices are a bit higher than in a normal restaurant, but very good conditions and good beer.

We were at Brauhaus Essen today with a large group for business. As on previous occasions, we received excellent service and care. The service team is extremely well-organized, and always polite and accommodating, even with special requests! A special thank you goes out to Nicole again; she warmly supported and advised us on many of our questions this evening. The food was not only perfect and perfectly seasoned, but also a feast for the eyes 🤗 The beer - - > absolutely delicious! We felt completely at home and would come back anytime, even privately - highly recommended!

We went there with friends. There's plenty of parking, and the grounds are beautiful. Everything looks well-maintained. You're warmly greeted and shown to your table. We had a seat in the gallery. The service was very friendly and attentive. The food was excellent and plentiful. The prices are a bit high, but knowing it's of such high quality, I'm willing to pay that price.

(Update) went back again got the half duck with red cabbage and Pommes the duck was perfectly cooked and full off flavor their crinkle cut Pommes were absolutely perfect. This makes every visit a culinary experience.

Great atmosphere, great service and most importantly the food was very delicious. I had the roast beef with onions and bread with a small salad as a starter. The roast beef was perfectly medium and well seasoned. I am very likely to eat both dishes again when revisiting. Full recommendation!

The service is not worth a star. We had to wait three quarters of an hour for our drinks. The billing was incorrect back and forth. The food is okay but nothing more. The atmosphere is like an old warehouse. I wouldn't recommend it.

The restaurant offers a very large and inviting location that is suitable for both larger groups and smaller groups of two or four. The view of the brewing kettle is particularly beautiful, giving the ambience a special touch. The service was friendly and quick, so we immediately felt at home. The food was tasty, but we found the portions a bit small in relation to the price. I had the bacon-wrapped chicken breast with parmesan spaghetti and zucchini - the taste was great, but for 21 euros I would have expected a little more (see picture). Unfortunately, the starter soup was also really small for 7 euros. The salad was delicious. Overall, a nice restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere, but could be improved in terms of price-performance ratio.

If you would like to take your dog to a restaurant with really friendly and animal-loving staff, you are in good hands here. However, if you want to eat well and cheaply, you should definitely go somewhere else. Cooking Basic - Schnitzel Viennese style: So bland and really dry. I never thought you could mess up a schnitzel like that. The rest of the food - spaetzle and cream sauce are also rather bland. Fries are dry too. The worst thing is the price of the two dishes that my husband and I were served: Schnitzel Viennese style - once with fries and once with spaetzle with a portion of cream sauce. 1 meat soup, two salads (no side salad!) and 4 halfs (beer). Everything together cost just under €80. Conclusion: Every housewife can make a better schnitzel. The price of this meal is absolutely not justified. I definitely won't go there a second time.

Yesterday the three of us - my wife, our three-year-old daughter and I - went to the restaurant for lunch. As always, the food was excellent. However, I would particularly like to emphasize the exceptionally friendly and warm treatment of our daughter. We have never experienced anything like this in any other restaurant. The team was incredibly attentive, patient and loving, so that our little one felt comfortable from the first moment. It's so nice when a restaurant not only offers great food, but also creates a child-friendly atmosphere. Thank you everyone for this! We are already looking forward to our next visit. (The little one is still happy about the sweets she received, the Christmas headband and the pin ;) )

There were almost 15 of us and we had reserved. The waitresses were very friendly and attentive and also funny. The food came to everyone at the table almost at the same time. Which was great. Other restaurants sometimes cannot do this. The location looks really nice. Great atmosphere. The price is a bit more expensive (e.g. Cordon Bleu with fries but without salad almost €22) but it tasted great and there was plenty of it. We can definitely recommend it and would consider going there again at any time. It is also suitable for wheelchairs/walkers and the toilets are at ground level. Sufficient parking spaces also available. And in front of the entrance there is a small winter photo hut, snowmen made of tires, etc. Visually very beautiful, especially in the dark.

The goose tasted very good, not dry either, Sauce could have been more Like every year, the chestnuts with it were extremely dry. I tried 3 of them. I actually really like chestnuts, but unfortunately I don't like the Sahara feeling in my mouth. Red cabbage was a dream, this time not too “Christmasy” in taste like last year. Recently attended a wedding at Gerberbräu - from the location to the food to the service throughout the entire event, everything was first class and I would recommend it to anyone!

Demanding 30 euros for the onion roast is an impudence. Guests ordered more because they were still hungry. A sauce (pork gravy) for all dishes. Fried potatoes were more fried than fried and were much too crispy (hard) in places. Ambience is quite nice.

We were back at the Gerber Bräu after a long time and then asked ourselves why we didn't come more often. Great ambience, super friendly service from start to finish and delicious food in portion sizes that correspond to the somewhat high-priced restaurant (if we want to look for the fly in the ointment). It's also super dog-friendly. No matter whether you call beforehand to see if dogs are allowed in (original sound: They are very welcome here) to the joy and cuddles at the entrance to the bowl of water. Great service! There were 10 people there in the outdoor area. Portions are large but the taste of the food was not convincing. Cheese in the sausage salad was tasteless, the dressing was very flat, and there was too much salt. I was there once with a friend, celebrating something. Bill approx. 80€. I have never eaten as well as I did there. The pork knuckle with sauce, and the sauce tasted a bit like orange. Unfortunately not enough sauce, but the taste was wow. I tried to recreate it, but it must have been orange concentrate. I can't get it that way. Delicious selection of liqueurs and schnapps and of course beers. Definitely recommended

If you missed the Corona and GDR times with table assignments, you'll get your money's worth here! It can take 10 minutes before the bad-tempered and arrogant H. d'Amaro finally shows up to complete his task. Once you have been assigned ONE table out of 30 free tables (!!!), you have to deal with bored and unmotivated service staff in order not to die of thirst after 30 minutes! In total…. Staff subpar, food mediocre and too expensive, ambience pleasing! Oh, one more thing... there doesn't seem to be a managing director here, but perhaps this position was deliberately eliminated, right Ms. Bader?

We had an excellent meal there and were well looked after. Price performance there pleases everyone, as does the polite treatment. Never again to the Gerber Bräu in Uhingen.

I have been a satisfied guest for years. Whether for business lunches, large family celebrations, with friends, with a small family, with a well-behaved dog... always very satisfied with the service and the food. Prices have increased a bit, so we go a little less often than before. Potion sizes are very good, ambience is nice, parking space is very good.

The "grilled" sea bream described was steamed or poached but not grilled as described, apart from that the piece of fish was just half of a sea bream fillet, there was no turmeric foam, I'll save the other things now. - The service was a complete disaster, one hand didn't know what the other was doing, apart from the fact that we had to wait 50 minutes for the second course and we weren't the only ones who had this happen. - To be honest, your customer management is shockingly bad in a catering establishment like yours. The overwhelmed service staff are sent to the guests to pick up on the guests' dissatisfaction, which is usually the job of the so-called event management. You had the feeling that someone had come up with this event. As the owner and CEO, please ask yourself the question of giving the people who would otherwise hold the event in the boathouse the responsibility to keep us in the background. This event yesterday was absolutely not an advertisement for her house. I hope that if this email is forwarded to you, that you will think about the future and the next event. An unforgettable experience at the Gerber Bräu Brauhaus I had the pleasure of visiting the Gerber Bräu Brauhaus in Uhingen and it was an unforgettable experience. The brewery has a long tradition and has offered space for around 280 guests on two levels since 2003. The atmosphere in the brewery is unique. You can enjoy the home-brewed beer while watching the brewing kettle. The master brewer attaches great importance to quality and taste. The beers are brewed according to the Purity Law and are not filtered, which preserves the taste and vitamins. On special occasions there are also special beers such as Maibock or Sommerweizen. The brewery serves fresh, regional food to accompany delicious beer. The chef also recommends dishes that change seasonally, such as chanterelles, asparagus, goose, etc. I was particularly impressed by the well-prepared schnitzels. All in all, Gerber Bräu Brauhaus is a place to visit when in Uhingen. It offers a great combination of traditional brewery flair and modern hospitality.
