Had schnitzel and pimmes, spaetzle and salad, it tasted very good and was also quite large. Setvice very nice and fond of children. You don't have to go to Göppingen's flagship brewery.

Rustic restaurant with good middle-class cuisine in the rooms of a former tannery. The home-brewed beers are also excellent.

Recently attended a wedding at Gerberbräu - from the location to the food to the service throughout the entire event, everything was first class and I would recommend it to anyone!

Demanding 30 euros for the onion roast is an impudence. Guests ordered more because they were still hungry. A sauce (pork gravy) for all dishes. Fried potatoes were more fried than fried and were much too crispy (hard) in places. Ambience is quite nice.

We were back at the Gerber Bräu after a long time and then asked ourselves why we didn't come more often. Great ambience, super friendly service from start to finish and delicious food in portion sizes that correspond to the somewhat high-priced restaurant (if we want to look for the fly in the ointment). It's also super dog-friendly. No matter whether you call beforehand to see if dogs are allowed in (original sound: They are very welcome here) to the joy and cuddles at the entrance to the bowl of water. Great service! All in all, a successful stay with the decision to come back often. Thanks! :-)

We had a family celebration in the restaurant. Everything was great all around, from the communication via email in advance to the successful celebration on site. There were 10 people there in the outdoor area. Portions are large but the taste of the food was not convincing. Cheese in the sausage salad was tasteless, the dressing was very flat, and there was too much salt. Aspic is not recommended as it is prepared rather carelessly, with poor dressing and a total of few ingredients. The service, on the other hand, was super friendly and attentive

Nice, large beer garden where the children can also have fun thanks to the playground. The food and portions are okay, but I think it's significantly overpriced. I think just a portion of fries for an adult costs 7 euros, which makes me very proud. It's OK to go out for a drink, but I won't eat anything here anymore.

Originally decorated with the tanned leather at the top of the roof! Plenty of parking spaces nearby. It's nice that you can go for a nightcap (even without alcohol) nearby.

I was there once with a friend, celebrating something. Bill approx. 80€. I have never eaten as well as I did there. The pork knuckle with sauce, and the sauce tasted a bit like orange. Unfortunately not enough sauce, but the taste was wow. I tried to recreate it, but it must have been orange concentrate. I can't get it that way. Delicious selection of liqueurs and schnapps and of course beers. Definitely recommended

If you missed the Corona and GDR times with table assignments, you'll get your money's worth here! It can take 10 minutes before the bad-tempered and arrogant H. d'Amaro finally shows up to complete his task. Once you have been assigned ONE table out of 30 free tables (!!!), you have to deal with bored and unmotivated service staff in order not to die of thirst after 30 minutes! In total…. Staff subpar, food mediocre and too expensive, ambience pleasing! Oh, one more thing... there doesn't seem to be a managing director here, but perhaps this position was deliberately eliminated, right Ms. Bader?

We didn't even get to eat. The service doesn't deserve the name. At the entrance you stand alone. You are not allowed to sit down, “you will be seated” they said. ALTHOUGH EASILY 20 tables were free. There was no sign saying “reserved” on any of these tables. My husband sat down in the meantime because he can't stand for long in the heat. Then, after waiting for long minutes, someone came, but didn't even notice me. He just looked past me. Neither a greeting nor anything else. Instead he asked my husband to leave the table because it was reserved. When my husband pointed out his impossible behavior, the employee (known by name. The owner of the store is welcome to ask us about it, but maybe we'll know who we're talking about) stretched out his arm and said we should but just go again. Impudent and arrogant, southern snobbish. Someone like that has no place in service. We decided to leave the table we had booked in advance to the next one. Apparently things aren't so bad for the catering industry in this country if employees are allowed to do something like that and throw guests out the door. We went to Da Mama in Wendlingen. We had an excellent meal there and were well looked after. Price performance there pleases everyone, as does the polite treatment. Never again to the Gerber Bräu in Uhingen.

I have been a satisfied guest for years. Whether for business lunches, large family celebrations, with friends, with a small family, with a well-behaved dog... always very satisfied with the service and the food. Prices have increased a bit, so we go a little less often than before. Potion sizes are very good, ambience is nice, parking space is very good.

Reception and table allocation were unfriendly, that's not possible. The lady has the wrong job. Service was okay. There was clearly not enough beer poured. Clearly too expensive for what is offered.

One of my favorite beer gardens in summer. Shortly after the Corona pandemic, the staff was a disaster for a while. In the meantime everything is in order again and the waitresses are friendly and accommodating. The food was and still is very good - no matter what you order. The onion roast in particular shines with a great sauce and is always tender and fried to perfection. And the pork knuckle is also a recommendation - as long as you get one and it's not sold out yet. We told the waitress several times that we would like to order. However, she preferred to continue collecting and put us off by saying she had to collect from others first. There were simply far too few staff for the number of guests. We were then forced to leave without even being able to order a drink. A pity!

The "grilled" sea bream described was steamed or poached but not grilled as described, apart from that the piece of fish was just half of a sea bream fillet, there was no turmeric foam, I'll save the other things now. - The service was a complete disaster, one hand didn't know what the other was doing, apart from the fact that we had to wait 50 minutes for the second course and we weren't the only ones who had this happen. - To be honest, your customer management is shockingly bad in a catering establishment like yours. The overwhelmed service staff are sent to the guests to pick up on the guests' dissatisfaction, which is usually the job of the so-called event management. You had the feeling that someone had come up with this event. As the owner and CEO, please ask yourself the question of giving the people who would otherwise hold the event in the boathouse the responsibility to keep us in the background. This event yesterday was absolutely not an advertisement for her house. I hope that if this email is forwarded to you, that you will think about the future and the next event. Price-performance doesn't fit. Unfortunately, my onion roast was not medium rare, but rather cooked through and the taste of the meat was also not convincing, the gravy made the meat edible. We also had to wait longer for the food, so I didn't send it back. I expected better for the price, it's a shame.

An unforgettable experience at the Gerber Bräu Brauhaus I had the pleasure of visiting the Gerber Bräu Brauhaus in Uhingen and it was an unforgettable experience. The brewery has a long tradition and has offered space for around 280 guests on two levels since 2003. The atmosphere in the brewery is unique. You can enjoy the home-brewed beer while watching the brewing kettle. The master brewer attaches great importance to quality and taste. The beers are brewed according to the Purity Law and are not filtered, which preserves the taste and vitamins. On special occasions there are also special beers such as Maibock or Sommerweizen. The brewery serves fresh, regional food to accompany delicious beer. The chef also recommends dishes that change seasonally, such as chanterelles, asparagus, goose, etc. I was particularly impressed by the well-prepared schnitzels. All in all, Gerber Bräu Brauhaus is a place to visit when in Uhingen. It offers a great combination of traditional brewery flair and modern hospitality.

The food is good, but a bit carelessly prepared. With the schnitzel there are only fries and a slice of lemon on the plate. A leaf of lettuce or half a tomato wouldn't make the whole thing seem so careless. The service is sometimes a bit intrusive but also very attentive and the prices are reasonable. BUT: The beer, especially the Pilsner, is unbeatable! Craftsmanship at its finest! And best of all: The beer is also available in a 5-liter keg for the perfect barbecue party at home.

Went here spontaneously. Super friendly service. The children were immediately given something to color in and the drinks were immediately at their place. Everyone enjoyed the food very much. Portions could also be a little smaller. Almost every table had packages sent home. The daily recommendation was particularly good. Goose with red cabbage, dumplings with baked apple.

Quaint, great food, great staff! We held our basic shoe fund meeting there again. The beer is also in a class of its own ;-) TOP recommendation.

In's Gerber Bräu komme ich schon recht lange immer wieder. Habe viele Jahre in Göppingen direkt gewohnt. Seit ich Heidenheim wohne ist das Brauhaus oft Anlaufpunkt für ein Treffen mit den ehemaligen Arbeitskollegen, Göppingen ist ziemlich in der Mitte zwischen Heidenheim und Esslingen. Das Essen ist ziemlich gut, aber nicht überragend. Die Preise nicht wirklich günstig, aber auch nicht überteuert. Der Service ist immer freundlich, könnte aber an der einen oder anderen Stelle aufmerksamer, präsenter und noch mehr am Gast sein. Die Location ist richtig gemütlich, hier sitzt man gerne auch mal länger und trinkt auch mal ein Bier mehr... Alles in Allem immer wieder eine grundsolide Leistung. Ich werde auch weiterhin gerne kommen.

Wir waren mit 8 Erwachsenen und 5 Kindern zum Mittagessen. Leider war das Personal unfreundlich, sehr schlecht verständlich (kein klares Deutsch) und sehr gestresst. Es wurde dann ein Essen vergessen und gar nicht gebracht. Als wir darauf hingewiesen haben, wurden wir gefragt ob wir die Portion noch möchten, hatten dann aber abbestellt, da die Bratensoße und auch die Bratkartoffeln versalzen waren. Schlussendlich war dann aber auch die nicht gelieferte Portion auf der Rechnung und als wir das reklamiert hatten ist dass Personal richtig ausgerastet und hat auch das Trinkgeld zum Trotz wieder ausbezahlt. Aber bei einem ~30€ Gericht, darf man wohl verlangen dass geliefert oder ausbezahlt wird. Wir werden dort jedenfalls nicht mehr hin gehen.

Sehr netter Service und leckeres Essen. Positiv erwähnen möchte ich die Schnelligkeit. Das Restaurant war Recht voll und wir haben keine 10 Minuten auf das Essen gewartet und der Zwiebelrostbraten war auf den Punkt medium!

Wer möchte, kann sich noch ein selbstgebrautes Bier dazu bestellen. Die Preise sind für meinen Geschmack etwas zu hoch. Es empfiehlt sich, zu reservieren. Immer viel los.

Absolut klasse, und wenn ich könnte würde ich dem Service nochmal 5 Sterne geben. Das Ambiente stimmig und gemütlich, für den Biergarten war es zwar etwas zu kalt aber der nächste Sommer kommt bestimmt. Der Service vom Empfang an freundliche und zuvorkommend. Was ich jedoch zum ersten Mal erlebt habe, ist dass trotz vollem Hause der (ich geh mal davon aus) Oberkellner bemerkt hat dass sich unser Hauptgang nach der Suppe verzögert hat. Er hat sich bei uns erkundigt und dafür entschuldigt, um dann mit einer echt klasse Freundlichkeit und professionellen Art zu servieren. Ich hab auch schon den nächsten Besuch reserviert. Dies empfiehlt sich übrigens sehr.

Das Essen schmeckt richtig gut, die Portionen sind so groß das man sie kaum schafft :) Das Ambiente ist ebenfalls super und man kann hier wunderbar einige Stunden mit guter Gesellschaft verbringen. Der Service ist top. Allen voran Herr Bolat hat uns mit seiner sympathischen Art den Abend versüßt!

Sehr gut, wir hatten Jubilarfeier in der Orangerie, welche Top organisiert war. Essen von den Häppchen bist zur Nachspeise sehr gut und für jeden was dabei. Personal sehr aufmerksam, man hatte nie ein leeres Glas.

Das Essen hat allen geschmeckt. Die Portionen waren eher kleiner gehalten. Der Service ist nicht besonders negativ aufgefallen, aber auch nicht positiv. Eher Durchschnitt. Hätte 2 1/2 gegeben.

Sehr schöner Biergarten. Bedienungen durchgehend freundlich und zuvorkommend. Getränke kamen schnell und gut gekühlt. Essen kam auch sehr zeitnah, hatte Cordon Bleu, war sehr saftig und sehr heiß. Der Käse, sowie der Schinken war reichhaltig und lecker. Panade war auch sehr gut. Die Pommes Frites waren durchschnittlich, teilweise bisschen zu dunkel. Zitrone war sehr frisch. Empfehlenswert

Große klassische Wirtshaus/Biergarten Gerichte zu fairen Preisen. Bedienung lässt sich Zeit Bzw ist alleine für einen großen Bereich für alle Bestellungen. Man darf dann auch gerne im Dunkeln im Biergarten essen und sieht kaum das eigene Essen.

Ich habe Schnitzel gegessen und das war einfach zu lange im Fett. Ich konnte ein Schnitzel von zwei essen. Also ich würde das Schnitzel doch besser in der Pfanne rausbraten im Butterfett mein Vorschlag

Ist immer stark besucht. Daher haben wir die Hotline angerufen die 24/7 laufen sollte, laut eigener Website, wobei nur die Bandansage kommt, dass die Rezeption bereits nicht mehr besetzt sei. Also blieb nichts anderes übrig als hinzufahren. Haben es versucht, aber leider waren keine Tische frei. Wurden auf die Online Reservierung aufmerksam gemacht. Somit hungrig wieder heim gefahren. Daraus gelernt und extra für unseren letzten Urlaubstag abends einen Tisch online über deren Website reserviert. Haben auch eine Bestätigungsmail direkt vom Lokal erhalten, ja da stand RESERVIERUNGSBESTÄTIGUNG. "hiermit bestätigen wir Ihnen Ihre Reservierung(...) wir freuen uns Sie am (...) bei uns begrüßen zu dürfen" Also zum BESTÄTIGTEN Zeitpunkt hingefahren und siehe da... Wir gehen rein und bekommen von einer Dame hinter der Bar die Aussage, dass schon geschlossen ist. Wir daraufhin erstaunt gesagt, wir haben einen Tisch reserviert. Ein Mann kam an uns herangetreten und teilte mit, dass das nicht sein könnte, sie haben ab 18 Uhr geschlossen. Das sei schon seit zwei Jahren so. Wir unsere Mail gezeigt. Der Mann weiterhin unfreundlich uns für blöd verkauft, dass es nicht sein kann, die Mail sei nicht von ihnen. Wir gesagt, da steht der Zeitpunkt und RESERVIERUNGSBESTÄTIGUNG. Unten ein Button mit Buchung stornieren. Er schaut sichs an aber weiterhin: "nein, Sie würden eine andere Mail erhalten.." Beim weiteren Gesprächsverlauf drängte er uns immer mehr aus dem Lokal mit der Äußerung: "Wenn Sie ein Problem damit haben, können sie sich morgen an der Rezeption melden." Leider eine sehr schlechte und unfreundliche Erfahrung gemacht. Hätte der Herr anders reagiert, würde ich die Bewertung so nicht absetzten, aber das Verhalten war weder empathisch noch serviceorientiert. Beschwerde wurde abgesetzt, sind gespannt was draus wird. Mal schauen ob wenigstens die Mailadresse stimmt :-P oder auch wieder nur fake ist.. Bei den bisherigen Besuchen war es in Ordnung, der Service könnte allgemein größer geschrieben werden. Somit gibt es nur durch die vorherigen Besuche die zwei Sterne. FAZIT: Bitte der Website NICHT vertrauen. Weder die Telefonzeiten noch die Reservierungen stimmen und klappen.

In Punkto Service und Freundlichkeit ist viel Luft nach oben. Lächeln - Nachfragen leider Fehlanzeige. Radiobeschallung aus blechernen Lautsprechern. Das passt leider nicht zum Preisgefüge. Qualität der Speisen war gut!

Der Biergarten im Sommer ist top und das Essen schmeckt fantastisch. Fand es nur etwas schade, dass am Freitag um 23 Uhr schon alles dicht gemacht wurde, trotz einigen Gästen und lauen Temperaturen.

Mit Kindern eine top Adresse. Sehr schönes Ambiente, durchgehend warme Küche, Essen sehr gut und auch die Kindergerichte sind lecker. Neuer Kinderspielplatz. Rundum empfehlenswert.

Gerber Bräu offers you a quaint and large environment while having lunch or dinner. The menu consists of good number of foods that are domestically specialty as well. There are two floors that can be chosen but one must make a reservation for second floor to find a table (reservation is advised in any case). Dogs are also welcome as I observed plenty of pet owners dining in.
