A beer garden without pretensions. If you like it, why not? A clear menu, plenty of shelter from the sun. An ancient beer temple steeped in tradition.

A fantastic weekend, with very friendly other guests, a great team, and special praise for the chef "Hansi." We received a very warm welcome and were treated to delicious food and good wine. We would love to come back when we're back home.

We celebrated my sons' confirmation there yesterday. The tables were lovingly and beautifully set, the space outside was great so you could choose whether you wanted to sit inside or outside, the food was amazing, the chef is really good, the service is friendly - you can't say anything negative about it! Highly recommended for parties; even though it's in the middle of the city you get the feeling you're in the middle of the countryside. All of our guests were thrilled with the food, the room, the service, the chef, just everything. We would love to hold every party there again.

A cozy evening with rustic charm My visit to the restaurant was characterized by the warm hospitality of the hosts, who made the evening special with their charm. The ambiance in the rustic hunting room invited one to linger and offered an authentic experience. Although the smoking area right next to the hunting room might take some getting used to for non-smokers, it added to the traditional charm of the restaurant. The food reflected the rustic atmosphere, with a selection of classic, good German dishes that were delicious. The quality and preparation of the dishes were consistently good and offered a classic treat for lovers of German cuisine. Overall, the evening was a very pleasant experience. The combination of the ambiance, the warm hospitality, and the good food made the visit an unforgettable experience.

Ich bin nach langer Zeit mal wieder in meiner Heimat gewesen und hatte Appetit auf ein deftiges Eisbein bekommen, was es bei uns in NRW nicht alltäglich gibt in den Gaststätten. Ich rief in der Friedensburg an und sagte das ich einfach Appetit habe ein ein deftiges Eisbein. Der wirt war sofort bereit und machte extra ein für mich fertig. Ich möchte mich dafür ganz herzlich bedanken und ganz großes Kino.Die Freundlichkeit der beiden Wirten war sehr angenehm .Ich werde auf alle Fälle wieder kommen. Macht weiter so .Mfg Kliche

Gute und freundliche Gaststätte.Vereibahrter Kostenvoranschlag wurde sogar unterboten.Bedinnung und Abwicklung haten sogar mehr Sterne verdient.

Obwohl vorheriger telefonischer Absprache hat sich der Preis durchschnittlich um 5 Euro erhöht, ohne davon Kenntnis zu erhalten (weder mübdlich, geschweige denn in Form einer Speisekarte). Des weiteren wurde eine Truppe von 20 Mann unfreundlich aus dem Biergarten verdrängt, weil man um.22 Uhr Feierabend machen wollte, Flexibilität und Kundenfreundlichkeit sieht anders aus. Defentiv nicht mehr zu empfehlen!

Solide Preise, coole Lokation und ein schöner Biergarten....

Gerne bin ich mal wieder in dieser alten Kneipe. Da in Deutschland die Kneipenkultur in Deutschland leider langsam zu Ende geht, nutze ich gerne noch solche Gastronomie sehr gerne.

Früher hab ich mein Papa zum Essen geholt ,dann hat er mich geholt und nu kann ich bleiben bis meine Frau mich holt. Also da ist alles prima gute Bewirtung man fühlt sich zuhause und die Sorgen bleiben vor der Tür. ;-)

Eine hervorragende urige Gaststätte mit ein einer großen Auswahl an deutschen Gerichten als auch vielen Getränken! Ich gehe hier gerne mal auf ein paar Bier oder einer Knacker mit Senf hin. Auf Grund der Pandemie wird auch ein Abholservice angeboten klasse!
