I’m retired and have had the privilege of touring (by car and motorcycle) through many countries in the last two months. This was - hands down - the best food I have had in any restaurant in Europe during this period. I was blown away by the starter but avoided eating too much because I knew the main course would be special. When it came, I asked if they had served a meal for three people by mistake. But no, this is what they offer for one hungry tourist. I’m ashamed to say I only managed half of the main dish but I enjoyed every mouthful. After that, the Ouzo they gave me on the house was a great digestive! Great service, great value and unbeatable food. Come and get it!

Yesterday I was in this restaurant for the first time. I really liked it there, both the atmosphere and the service. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. The food was very tasty and the portions were more than generous. The restaurant is not entirely barrier-free, there are 3 steps to overcome. But the service staff are happy to help at any time. And from May 1st there are also plans to have tables outside, so it shouldn't be a problem for wheelchair users. A table reservation is certainly generally advisable, I think. I'll definitely be back 😀 Of course I recommend the Athens Restaurant 😀

After the village blacksmith shop in Buldern was closed, the Greek restaurant Athens opened there. At first I was a bit skeptical as to whether the new restaurant would really fit into the village. My opinion about it quickly changed because the boss is super nice, the village forge's regular employees have all been taken on and the food is simply delicious. For a good price you can get a decent meal there. One star deducted because I can't get my counter stool back. But otherwise very good

Fast, friendly, good food, good portions. (we came without registering and sat alone in the remote ballroom: someone checked on us almost every minute!) Toilets clean... I don't know anything that could have been done better. Solid performance!

Rustic village pub with a bowling alley and lots of charm. There is a large selection of food and it is also delicious. Now it's a Greek restaurant. I haven't eaten there yet

Good and tasty food but very bad premises! Too many people in the large room, very loud and not comfortable. Waited well over an hour for the food and the staff was sometimes overwhelmed.

Old restaurant well converted into a Greek restaurant. Large rooms but also seating on different levels with privacy. We were there with four people on February 2nd, 2024 and we were all thrilled with the food. For a new opening, I would have expected, as is usual with Greeks, a Quso who would then come with the bill upon request. We would have paid for it but it was free. The Greek is recommended and I hope the quality stays that way.

Salad ok, the bread doesn't work at all. This should always be warm, fresh and crunchy with every side dish. You could count the fries on a small plate. Unfortunately, the service was not what you would expect from trained staff. But you can do it!!

The service was attentive and very nice, the food was super good, we have already eaten in a few Greek restaurants but that was really very, very good!!!! We will definitely be back!!!!

Haben zwei Abende hier gegessen war sehr gut. Personal super freundlich. Leider gibt es bei uns sowas nicht mehr. Fühlten uns richtig heimlich.

Super nette Gastwirte, sehr aufmerksames Personal. Sogar ameländer ,"nobbelchen " gibt es 😚

Sehr gute Küche. Preis und Leistung gut abgestimmt. Die Inhaber sind sehr nette Menschen. Service top. Altes Fachwerk macht die Innenräume gemütlich. Kaminzimmer und Kegelbahn top in Schuss.

Wir waren gestern Abend kurz vor Küchenschluss auf Empfehlung der Kollegen dort. Ohne Diskussion wurde für uns der Herd angeworfen, um die hungrigen DRKler abzufüttern das Essen war reichhaltig und lecker, die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, die Preise sind total angemessen. Vielen Dank!
