It tastes perfect. The service is always super friendly.

I specifically asked if the rind was edible. That's the good part of a knuckle of pork. If knuckle tasted like that in Bavaria, it wouldn't be so popular there. 😅 With a sharp steak knife, you can cut through the rind, but even with good teeth, you can't eat it. Unfortunately!

Sales only take place at the locations of the three barbecue mobiles, which change daily according to the weekday schedule. There is NO ONE in the greater area that offers better grilled chicken and knuckles! Good sizes, extremely tasty, grilled to perfection, very clean, well-maintained sales cart and who likes super tasty salads with it. Even tastier if eaten immediately on the spot, because the steam in closed bags (as is always the case with pizzas in boxes or fries) means that the culinary crispiness is gone. But it's so delicious = addictive and definitely give it a try! Price as of 3/24: large half chicken €4.90, super fair price

Yesterday I ate Bontrup chicken for the first time. I have to say, it's been better than it's been in a long time.

So I wasn't there. Today I bought half a cockerel from the chicken cart/stand (in Marl/Breddenkamp/corner of Rewe/Tanke. Hats off...I haven't had such a juicy one for 3 decades (I can't think of the name, from Dortmund) Again and again and with pleasure. (Even if the skin wasn't crispy, unfortunately, but that can happen). Juicy nonetheless. 👍🤟🐓🐔

By far the best knuckles around! - More than justified in terms of price. The meat is tender and not tough, falls off the bone easily! That's how it has to be!

Sehr, sehr leckere und saftige Hähnchen. Im Vergleich zu Pommesbuden Hähnchen etwas teurer, aber dafür um Welten besser. Leider ist er nur Donnerstags da.
