Altes Gasthaus Kentrup in Dülmen

We were there on Saturday evening with a small group of five people. We had made a reservation in advance, so a table was held free for us. The welcome was pleasant, and we were seated quickly. The service was very good; the waiters were friendly and personable! The wait times for drinks and food were perfectly acceptable. We ordered two "Kentrup" grilled plates, a paprika schnitzel, a creamed mushroom schnitzel, and a hunter's schnitzel. Everyone was completely satisfied with the meal. Even small special requests and extra orders were accommodated without any problems. The food was truly delicious. You could tell it was fresh and homemade. Overall, full marks; each of us would recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience.

I was very disappointed on my first visit. I ordered a paprika schnitzel (gypsy schnitzel), which unfortunately barely tasted of paprika, but more like a cheap gravy mixed with a hint of paprika. What I also couldn't quite understand was that we didn't receive a detailed bill with the individual dishes and drinks, but merely a handwritten receipt labeled "for food and drinks." It would have been very helpful to know what we ultimately spent so much money on. Conclusion: Unfortunately, we won't be back.

On Friday, we spent another cozy evening at the old Kentrup Inn 😋😊 The food was, as always, delicious and freshly prepared. The wines from the Markgräfler Land region are highly recommended 🥂 Our teenage grandchildren's special requests were also absolutely no problem. The service was friendly and prompt. We're already looking forward to the next time.

We announced our arrival weeks in advance. Several wheelchair users were present. Nothing worked out. Too bad 😞.... Do we have to go to another restaurant in town? We're 50 meters away and need to go somewhere else???? Too bad 😞😞😞😞😞

Absolutely not recommended. Extremely unfriendly staff, even the owner herself. They definitely don't care about the well-being of their guests. The food afterwards was also mediocre. I can overlook many minor issues. But the behavior of the owner herself is absolutely intolerable. It's a shame she doesn't even deserve a star. 👎

We were actually looking forward to a pleasant evening. But the atmosphere was so bad that we wanted to leave immediately. Not a smile or a friendly word from the waitress. Stiff and impersonal. We have never experienced such bad service. It felt like every order was too much for the servers and the manager got very annoyed when we wanted to reorder something. She said, I don't go out of my way for every order, you have to order everything together. There wasn't that much stress in a restaurant and if you're overwhelmed, even though it wasn't busy, you don't show it to the customers. The only thing that was good was the food.

Nice old inn/tavern where we met friends for dinner. Staff friendly and accommodating, good service. Unfortunately, we men haven't had enough...

Had dinner there with friends for the first time today, pleasant restaurant. The employee was very nice and accommodating. Nice rooms, you can also sit outside. Will probably stop there more often. 😊 Food was very tasty, moderate prices.

We have been eating here regularly for several years and are completely satisfied. The selection is limited, but very good. The chef is a master of his profession. The service is always friendly and tries to make everything possible. Special requests such as smaller portions or consideration for lactose intolerances are also fulfilled. We give it a thumbs up.

Today was a special day: eating mussels. So the menu offered was great. Great dips with bread first. Then the fish starter plate: a poem. And then the mussels: a very good potion with a brilliant brew. We voluntarily skipped dessert (warm apple strudel....) and preferred a nightcap. So all in all great. 5 stars are deserved. And we have had this experience many times. Summary: Definitely recommended 😃👌🫶

Leckeres Essen, nette Bedienung.

Wir mit unserem Stammtisch sind Regelmäßig bei Kentrup. Das Essen ist sehr sehr lecker 😋 Die Speicherkarte ist sehr vielseitig für jeden Geschmack was dabei. Bedienungen und Inhaberin Marina & Ired sehr herzlich und zuvorkommend. Macht weiter so!!!! Gruß Willi 🍻

Essen war gut,ausreichend und lecker. Leider war der Service aus meiner Sicht an diesem Tag aber schlecht. Bedienungen wirkten sehr gestresst und überfordert. Dieses merkte man man den Bestellungen am Tisch und dem Service an. Auf Nachfrage zu Salz und Ketchup wurde das nachträglich gebracht mit der Bemerkung, dass man das dass nächste mal doch gleich mitbestellen müsste. Auch die Speisen wurden gestresst an den Tisch gebracht. Auch wenn man Personalmangel an dem Tag hat, lässt man dieses niemals an den Kunden spüren.

Mit drei Radfahrer aus Billerbeck im Gasthaus Kentrup gewesen. Waren vom Service und geschmacklichen Essen begeistert. Deswegen 3 x 5 Punkte. Weiter so wünschen Theo, Jürgen, Stephan und Werner

Nettes kleines Restaurant in Buldern. Wir haben mit den Rädern hier kurz Rast gemacht, um eine Kleinigkeit zu essen und zu trinken.

Eine klassische Kneipe, in der man bei einem kalten Bier den Tag ausklingen lassen kann. Die angebotenen Speisen schmecken sehr gut und bieten eine gute Auswahl. Update: Nach Öffnung der Außengastronomie im Rahmen der Coronalockerungen waren wir mit drei Leuten nochmal hier, nun gibt es fünf Sterne. Haben uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt. Wir waren gestern Abend da. Meine Reis-Gemüsepfanne war richtig gut. Da versteht der Koch zu würzen. Mein Mann hatte das Schnitzel auf Rösti für den kleinen Hunger. Auch das war gut. Allerdings zu viel Pilzsoße auf dem Schnitzel. Die Portionen sind reichlich. Das Gasthaus ist echt zu empfehlen. Nette und zuvorkommende Bedienung und schönes Ambiente. Der hintere Biergarten scheint neu zu sein. Schön und gepflegt. Wir machen uns gleich auf den Weg zum nochmaligen Besuch. 21.36 Uhr Und auch heute haben wir gut gegessen. Steak und mediterraner Salat waren sehr gut. Preis- Leistung super.
