A great traditional restaurant with a rustic Dülmen flair, good dishes, a wide selection of drinks and, above all, a friendly and service-oriented host couple Helmut and Marion. The restaurant is highly recommended, especially the crispy chicken!

Ostlandwehr 12Criticism of Prices: Currywurst, Fries, Hot Chocolate €11 - I ordered currywurst with fries and mayo + 1 hot chocolate. The display board shows currywurst €3.50 + fries €3.50 = €7. So mayo and a bottle of Münsterland hot chocolate cost €4??? I went back to the cashier and asked if it was correct. He said yes... A "Manta Plate," whatever that is, plus hot chocolate is €11. For that price, I can get a schnitzel with fries elsewhere. For me, the price is unacceptable. I won't be coming back. Furthermore, the place is called Grillschwestern Tante Frieda (Grill Sisters Aunt Frieda). I didn't see either Grillschwestern or Aunt Frieda there. Why am I giving it three stars? The place is cozy and modern. Bright and clean. The taste wasn't amazing, but okay. I was full from the portion. Relatively large fries, but a small sausage. I'm also not sure about the sauce. The menu board said Aunt Frieda's homemade sauce. I didn't think it tasted like a particularly special currywurst sauce... but it wasn't any worse than anywhere else. Just normal.
