The service was friendly, but unfortunately, the drinks took a while! The food was delicious! Although the opening hours were supposed to be until 10 pm and guests still wanted to enjoy their meals, the floor was already being swept and tables moved at 7:30 pm. This meant the cozy part of the evening was over. It's a shame because we would have liked to stay for another drink.

We come to the Antony Hut at least twice a year with our dog club for a meeting and always look forward to the delicious food and pleasant atmosphere. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and they don't forget our rather small dogs. Thank you so much, we always enjoy coming back 🤗

We were there today, had made a reservation with the note (wedding anniversary). We were shown to a table in a winter garden, which is rather spartanly furnished. Chip shops are much more modern, most of them anyway. We thought, oh well, it doesn't matter, the main thing is the food tastes good. I had a schnitzel with chanterelles, €19.90, my husband had a steak with chanterelles, €31.90, with chips. A side salad can be ordered separately for €4.50. The food came quickly. It was the first time in my life that I had ordered chanterelles and what can I say? Unfortunately, I still don't know what they taste like because they were simply tasteless. My husband has eaten chanterelles many times and said that wasn't right. The chips were tasty. Unfortunately, that was probably the first and last time.

We always feel very well looked after in the cozy atmosphere with friendly service. Our recommendation is the romantic, rustic vaulted cellar, which is usually open on Friday and Saturday weekends. Thanks to the host, Mr. Wischermann, and his team for many wonderful hours!

Great, a restaurant with traditions, as you can see in the photos, an atmospheric place in a quiet place. You can eat tasty dishes or snacks and relax drinking delicious coffee or stronger drinks from the menu. The restaurant also has a bowling alley, bowling, which I didn't manage to capture on the photo. photos. The service is very nice and fast, so you don't have to wait long. The price-performance ratio wasn't right. I had salad with turkey. The latter was cut into very thin slices and quite crispy.

Ordered pounds of asparagus with special request for schnitzel. I got a frozen schnitzel from the deep fryer with four!!! Asparagus spears. When the waitress cleared the table and asked if everything was OK, I complained about the schnitzel. We just tried it and returned almost all of it. The waitress wanted to speak to the chef and said that she didn't understand what the chef was thinking either. When paying I asked what the chef said. The answer I got was that she didn't speak to the cook because he was in the camp the whole time (at least 30 minutes!!!). I was allowed to pay the full price. There won't be a next time for me.

My mother had her wedding reception there. The food was absolutely amazing. Three dishes to choose from, pork, beef and chicken. Everyone was really excited! The hall was ok, nothing extraordinary but clean, well maintained, everything was good. I didn't see anything from the rest of the restaurant, so I can't say anything about that. The toilets were also very clean. I will definitely eat there again!

Easter Sunday, had lunch there with 6 people. As always, everything was great. I ordered a schnitzel with fried potatoes and asparagus. Everything was very good, but I would have liked 2 or 3 more stalks of asparagus on the plate. But that's complaining at a high level. I'll come back any time.

You're right in the heart of the Ruhr region – no fuss, no pretense. The food reflects this: Among other things, they serve an extremely delicious beef roulade with wild garlic mash. A truly authentic Ruhrpott idyll with plenty of heart – a place to feel good!

“Antony Hütte” was the best restaurant in the area for us. (until last Sunday.) We have pre-booked a table for 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 12, 2025. The food we ordered ended up on the table after 1 1/2 hours at 2 p.m. The food was not enjoyable. We were disappointed 😞. Price-performance ratio impossible.

Totally uncoordinated service. Went to the counter several times and asked to take drinks and order food. Waited 2 1/4 hours for part of the food, two dishes were wrong and one was missing completely. The last one came after about 2.30 minutes. The dessert (which was part of the menu) was not brought at all. All in all, expensive and not recommended.

Today we had dinner at the Antony Hut with the whole family. To be honest, it was pretty terrifying. Apparently the restaurant wasn't full. At the beginning we turned on the heating ourselves because everyone was freezing. By the way, this was switched off. We had to wait 35 minutes for our first drink order. After another 30 minutes we asked the waiter if we could also get tickets as we also wanted to order food. These came 15 minutes later. Dishes that were expressly offered on the seasonal menu from January 10, 2025 (today) were not available. 70% of the family waited 75 minutes for their food. My order was taken incorrectly so I received something completely different. The remaining members of my family received their meal when everyone else had already finished. It didn't really taste good either, as many of the dishes were already cold. Also the drink service wasn't good at all. We had to wait too long for every drink, if we were allowed to order at all. Once we were turned away by the waitress with the reprimand “Not now!” If you then look at the prices on the menu and what is promised, the result or service you receive is an absolute disgrace. We tried the Antony Hut for the second time today but it was definitely the last time.

I had known the restaurant for a long time and had eaten there a few times and had even been there on occasions such as a communion. Everything was always completely satisfactory. Now I celebrated my 50th birthday there in the vaulted cellar and what can I say: absolutely perfect location. The service was outstanding. The waitresses were always attentive and friendly and, despite all the stress - the bowling alleys were all rented out at the time - were always willing to listen and all requests were implemented within a very short time. The food was incomparable from the starters to the main courses to the dessert. All of my guests were very positive and only had good things to say about the location and food. Any time. A restaurant that we can only recommend. And by the way, these 1 and 2 star ratings are incomprehensible to me. But unfortunately there always have to be a few constant complainers or complainers. Please don't let this put you off. You won't regret it!!!

Were there with several people. The Antonie Schnitzel could use a sauce. This plate was very dry. Side salad 4.50 too expensive for the bit of green 1/2 tomato 2 slices of cucumber. Balkan schnitzel small, portion of fries manageable. Service was very good. But for us there is no second time. Too bad.

The ambience is great, but unfortunately we didn't like the food at all... Chanterelles were ice cold and what was on the baked potato was unfortunately not edible. We even left the glass of beer half full! We definitely won't be coming back!

Today we drove to the Anthony Hut quite spontaneously with three people. I had called beforehand to see if there were still options for 3 people and when I arrived there was already a reserved sign with our name on a table. I was very polite then. When we placed our order, we noticed pretty quickly because it was probably one of the service staff's first days. When the drinks came a beer glass was broken. After a tip from my husband, a new one can be delivered quite quickly. We actually asked about the food order three more times. Even the boss from the kitchen came to our table again to ask exactly what and how we had ordered. There were three of us. 2xbeef soup, 2x Anthony special. 1x Wienerschnitzel. You couldn't do so much wrong now. Actually. The soup was hot, very nice, but bordering on salty. The Wienerschnitzel was ok but the two specials weren't really good. The fried potatoes tasted very bland and were unfortunately just swimming in oil and the schnitzel didn't really have any flavor even though it was gratinated with onions, mushrooms and Gouda. Unfortunately it was just dripping with grease. My husband left it and I left the fried potatoes. But if not even the cellar asks how it tasted, that probably says it all. 3 stars because the service staff really tried hard. We won't be coming back to eat again

We've been bowling there for a while and we like everything about it. The food is delicious. The menu always offers new things at reasonable prices. The service is nice. We will remain loyal to the Antonihütte.

Was there yesterday and we had a table down in the vault. We didn't have the best table there, but the atmosphere down there is very nice. The food was very tasty, the service was quick and attentive. The beer garden is also nice to look at. All in all, a well-rounded affair.

Ambiance greatly improved, hadn't been there for a long time

Wir waren mit der Familie 6 Erwachsene und 3 Kinder essen. Wir hatten unterschiedliche Gerichte die alle gut waren. Die Preise waren ok und angemessen. Ganz besonders möchte ich das freundliche und sehr aufmerksame Personal erwähnen. Hier für kann ich eigentlich nur 110 % geben, weil ich nicht nur sehr zufrieden war sondern sehr positiv überrascht war.

Unfortunately I can't share my opinion with others. I had a schnitzel. It's alright, but not homemade breadcrumbs. More like a frozen one that was quickly thrown into the deep fryer. The meat looked pressed. I expect something like that at a snack bar, but not in a restaurant. I suspect that the fries were already fried and then quickly put back in the deep fryer before use. My Kollen's Jägerschnitzel wasn't any better either. Sorry, but not my restaurant

In the beautiful beer garden with large parasols (also for smokers 👍) the four of us ate schnitzel in different variations and there was beer and wine, as well as ice cream for dessert. Everything tasted good. Special praise to the kitchen, which took allergies fully into account. The service also asked again about my wife's allergies. In short it was a nice evening. PS on nice days you should reserve a table in the beer garden. Update: on June 1st, 2024 my parents and family celebrated their 65th marriage anniversary. I would like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to the Wischermann family and the very friendly and attentive service staff. Great atmosphere, I find it very cozy there. The service was ok, but it seemed to me that the staff was not professional. Still absolutely friendly, nice and accommodating. My meal was, well, not worth the price. The steak was absolutely perfect and fried or grilled to perfection, but the meat was of quality from Lidl, Aldi or Netto. The fried potatoes and vegetables were, I would say, normal. For just over 30 euros, I expect a perfect piece of meat, not just visually perfect. Otherwise, our group gave a very good rating for the food, although no one voted it outstanding. I will definitely come back and try other dishes. Afterwards I will draw another conclusion.

Food was okay, but not outstanding. The service wasn't very attentive. We sat hidden in a corner of the vault (a table had been reserved) even though the vault was otherwise empty on a Saturday evening. Service wasn't visible most of the time, so we had to go looking to order another round of drinks. During the round of nightcaps (various schnapps), the tray was placed somewhere on the table with the words: "I'll put this here, you can take your own." Then we smelled and sniffed until we sorted everything out. The ambience in the vault itself is good, but when you sit alone down there in the cold basement you feel like you've been parked and forgotten.

You can sit nicely in the vaulted cellar and eat delicious food. Changing monthly passes make a visit very varied! Unfortunately, the staff was a bit un-relaxed during our visit: we were asked to order our food at the bowling alley, even though we had reserved a table in the vaulted cellar afterwards. Around half past ten we were looked at critically because we wanted to order another round of drinks, even though the restaurant was supposed to be open until midnight.

Lachs kam roh. Essen mittelmäßig. Lange Wartezeiten. Kein Entgegenkommen seitens des Restaurants wegen des rohen Lachs. Bekam das Essen als die anderen fertig waren.

Zum ersten Mal verstehe ich,dass in manchen Restaurants Kinder unerwünscht sind. Es war kein gemütlicher Weihnachtsabend, weil die Kleinen in den Gängen Fangen spielten, kreischten und schrien, während die Eltern in Ruhe vor der Tür rauchen gingen. Auch dass ferngesteuerte Spielzeuge mit Getöse den Gästen gegen die Füße gefahren wurden, störte weder Kinder, Eltern noch Kellner. Leider wurde das Essen dann auch noch lauwarm serviert, die bestellte heiße Schokolade wurde erst gar nicht warm gemacht und kam kalt auf den Tisch. Kurzum: ein gelungenerWeihnachtsabend sieht anders aus.

De receptie van ons hotel heeft dit restaurant aangeraden. Lekker gegeten en gedronken voor een prima prijs. Fijne bediening en een super leuke plek om te eten. We zaten beneden, super romantisch en sfeervol. Aanrader!

Wir, die Briefmarken+ und Münzfreunde waren am Sonntag 10.12.2023 da, mit unseren Vereinsmitgliedern und haben a la carte gespeist. Es war alles 1A*****. Alle Mitglieder waren voll begeistert und werden auch wieder kommen. Danke Herr Wischermann

Sehr schönes alteingesessenen Lokal.Modern eingerichtet.Service Top.Leider war es bei meinem Besuch zi kalt.Die Räume sind schön nurleider zu viele Treppen sei es zum WC oder zum Wintergarten und auch der Eingang hat drei Stufen und nur einen Handlauf.
