We had dinner at Waldeck by Maik yesterday. The sauerfleisch is absolutely amazing. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant has the right atmosphere. Absolutely 100% recommended. We'd love to come back tomorrow.

Highly recommended! Very friendly service, delicious food, and thoughtful details. There were five of us there, including a small child and a dog. My nephew got his drink right away and something to draw. At the end, he even got to go on an adventure in the restaurant and received a surprise. Absolutely sweet. The whole family takes care of its guests, the food is excellent, and prices are reasonable by today's standards. Reservations are recommended during peak season.

We visited the Waldeck on August 28, 2025, and enjoyed an excellent meal in the lovingly decorated restaurant, spending a wonderful evening. The service was attentive and very friendly. It's a shame that tomorrow is our last day in Röbel, otherwise we would have loved to come back again.

A very lovely evening with my sweetheart. The restaurant has been reopening since May. Here, the chef cooks himself and brings the food and asks how it tastes. We both had zander with fried potatoes, a small cucumber and carrot salad, and greens with olives and feta cheese on the side. Absolutely delicious, and for dessert, rhubarb compote with ice cream 🍨. Great service, a pleasant atmosphere both inside and out. I'd love to go back. Today, Friday, August 22nd, another meal. Today I had neck steak with caramelized onions and fried potatoes. I can assure you, it was so delicious. My wife had a steak plate (several smaller ones) with spicy seared vegetables and garlic baguette, which I also recommend.

Two of us went there without a reservation and were assigned a table outside. Our order was taken quickly, the appetizer (solyanka) was also delivered relatively quickly and tasted very good. Then we had to wait, however... Four couples arrived after us and received their food first. They also paid and left the restaurant again, while we were still waiting for our main course. Nothing exceptional: one schnitzel with mixed vegetables and a pike-perch fillet with fried potatoes. The pike-perch fillet had a lot of bones. Everything tasted fine, but the long wait (1 hour 10 minutes) and the bones in the fillet only deserve 3 stars for me.

We haven't eaten this well in a long time! The food was incredibly delicious, freshly prepared, and presented with love. The service was attentive and warm, perfectly rounding off our visit. For us, it was an all-around successful evening – we'll definitely be back and can highly recommend the restaurant!

We discovered this restaurant on August 9, 2025, through Google while cycling around Lake Müritz. The service and waitresses were very friendly. The food was very tasty, but the salmon portion could have used a bit more side dishes. My wife was full, but I wouldn't have been.

The salmon fillet with horseradish mash... delicious! The apple compote for dessert... also fantastic. I've rarely had such a good meal. Thank you very much.

Hello to all the hungry people! We highly recommend Waldeck by Maik to everyone. Nine of us ate there and I think we ate almost everything they offer. And it was all delicious. Well presented, generous portions. The chef even came out to ask questions!!! We felt very well looked after!

We were in Röbel for nine days and unfortunately only had four meals at Maik's; it was unavoidable. Delicious dishes, super-friendly staff, and a lovely atmosphere.

Today was our first time eating there with the family. We have to say, we've rarely eaten so well. The menu is small but excellent, but there's something for everyone. There are plenty of meat, fish, and vegetarian dishes. There's something for everyone (children's menu) and adults. We received a very friendly welcome and service. We also really liked the interior. We would say this restaurant is an absolute gem and will probably soon be overbooked. We would like to thank the entire team for the wonderful, culinary evening. We'll be back on Friday 😄

The owner is a "kitchen magician," and his name says it all – fresh, fantastic food that is truly unbelievably delicious for all ages! The well-being of the guests is always at the forefront! Simply fantastic, and if I could, I would give it a 12/10! A visit is definitely worth it :0)!

It's been a long time since we felt so comfortable in a restaurant. The atmosphere, along with Maik, his family, and the friendly staff, made our dinners a real experience. We looked forward to returning every evening. There wasn't a single day when we didn't enjoy our meal. Keep up the good work, and you'll have many repeat customers.

Everything just fits perfectly here! This small, quiet restaurant is lovingly run by Maik and Nuria. The small but fine menu is regional and varied. We were lucky enough to eat here on the very first day of our vacation. It's simply delicious. Our recommendation: If you haven't eaten here, you're missing out!

After 90 km around Lake Müritz, we arrived completely under-hopped. The banana beer we requested was brought promptly. The wait for the food was a bit longer, but considering everything is made fresh and served at the same time, it was acceptable. The remoulade we requested arrived promptly. Both the waitress and the chef (and manager) came by regularly to check that everything was in order. All in all, a lovely evening that we would gladly repeat.

I ended up at "Maik" and Nuria's place quite by chance, but as the saying goes, spontaneous events are often the best! Where fresh, lovingly cooked food is served, there can be – in this case – exceptional shortages. First of all: we'll pick up the fried potatoes on our next visit tomorrow! We felt very well looked after and appreciated as guests. The food was great, fresh, and of high quality, and the atmosphere was very friendly and informal. You can feel and taste the passion, experience, and emotion that come together here to leave guests not just satisfied, but valued and happy. A small homemade farewell greeting, an honest, friendly conversation, humanity, and a wonderful interaction between guest and host prompted us to return tomorrow. Keep it up! Yesterday was our second visit to Waldeck. Chef Maik Langefeld, already familiar to us from the Müritzterrasse, absolutely hits our tastes. Delicious, well-seasoned, and freshly prepared dishes attract young and old to this rustic restaurant. The team works in perfect harmony, and his wife Nuria serves her guests with warm friendliness. We are delighted and would gladly return.

Six of us went for a final dinner after a week of cruising. It was fantastic! Clever cuisine combined with very friendly service—you couldn't ask for more. A lovely atmosphere with a few nice (wise) sayings and a chef who doesn't hide in the kitchen but jokes with the guests. If it weren't 800 km from home, this would be my new local.

"Still" an insider tip, but soon no longer. Delicious food and super friendly service, a cool and, above all, good chef, a great atmosphere, and a wonderful, quiet location. A great overall package. Sehr gemütliche Gaststätte mit leckeren und frisch zubereiteten Essen. Kann man nur weiterempfehlen.

Wir sind durch Zufall im Waldeck gelandet und waren letztlich sehr froh darüber! Die Lage perfekt für lärmgeplagte Stadtbewohner. Wir saßen auf der Terrasse vorm Haus. Gegenüber Wald, Vogelgezwitscher und sonst nichts. Die Bedienung sehr nett, aufmerksam und verbindlich. Das Essen war superlecker! Deutsche Hausmannskost ohne Schnickschnack. Alles frisch und selbstgekocht. Keine Conveniensprodukte, was mich (ich hatte Steak au four) besonders beim Würzfleisch sehr positiv überrascht hat. Richtige Hähnchenfleischstücke, keine uniformierten Würfelchen aus der Dose, wie man es so oft angeboten bekommt. Danke für den guten Geschmack! Und für den kranken Kollegen alles Gute!

Wir haben die Gaststätte Waldeck im Mai 2023 besucht. Unsere Wahl haben wir nach einer Bootstour vom Röbeler Hafen getroffen. Nur 2 km entfernt und top Bewertungen. Auf der Fahrt haben wir gezweifelt. Auf den 2km wurde es immer ländlicher und dann ging es auch noch links ab, in eine unbefestigte Seitenstraße. Zur Krönung ein einziges Auto vor der Tür. Nachdem wir das Lokal betreten haben, waren wir froh, dass wir reserviert hatten. Ein freier Tisch - der von uns bestellte. Das Lokal hat wenig Tische, aber die waren besetzt und blieben es auch für den Rest des Abends. Für gehende Gäste gab es sofort Ersatz. Die Gaststätte lebt wohl von ihrem Ruf - Anwohnern und Radfahrern. Die Bedienung sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend - später stellte sich heraus -die Chefin. In der Küche ein Koch und die Mutter der Betreiberin. Und alles wohl unverändert seit Jahren. Eine überschaubare Speisekarte; aber für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Meine Frau hat Fleisch gewählt. Ich habe mich für Fisch entschieden und wurde unaufgefordert darüber informiert, dass der Fisch aus der TK kommt und nicht vom Hafen. Frischer Fisch müsse zu oft weggeworfen werden. Es wurde mir freigestellt, eine andere Wahl zu treffen - ich bin beim Fisch geblieben. Wir waren beide mit unserer Wahl sehr zufrieden. Fleisch und Fisch waren auf den Punkt gegart und sehr lecker zubereitet. Die Portionen waren für uns ausreichend. Die Beilagen gingen teils zurück in die Küche. Die Preise sind für das heutige Niveau moderat. Dazu ein sehr aufmerksamer Service. Für uns ein überaus gelungener Abschluss einer 7-Seen-Tour. Kommen wir nochmal nach Röbel, steht die Gaststätte Waldeck oben auf unserer 'to-do-Liste'. Bis dahin Chefin und Personal -danke - bis bald - und immer wieder gerne.

Sehr sehr leckeres Essen und sehr freundliche Bedienung. Wir sind hier, mehr oder minder, zufällig gelandet. Und waren letztlich froh darüber! Klare Einkehrempfehlung. Das Essen war gut, erschwinglich und augenscheinlich mit Liebe zubereitet. Bei den Getränken gibt es ebenfalls eine große Auswahl.

Super nette Inhaberin, hat für uns gleich die Tische zusammen gestellt, obwohl fast alles reserviert war! Das Essen war spitze, super große Portion und der Preis dafür so was von gut!! Das Restaurant ist eher unscheinbar und entpuppt sich als Geheimtipp! Echt Top, es ist nur zu empfehlen

Wer auf kleine Gemütliche Location steht und auf gutes Essen, ist hier genau richtig. Sehr lecker und nette Bedienung! Gerne wieder, wenn wir in der Nähe sind.

Kleines Gasthaus. Schlicht eingerichtet, aber das tut dem Essen gar nichts! Das Essen war klasse! Geschmackvoll, nett angerichtet und eine gute Portion. Das Personal freundlich und aufmerksam. Es empfiehlt sich einen Tisch zu reservieren, da wirklich nicht so viele Tische da sind und freitags ab 18 Uhr war es ausgebucht. Wir waren zufrieden und würden wieder essen👍
