I've been there countless times and have never been disappointed! The team always does everything they can to keep waiting times to a minimum, even when the place is packed. The price-performance ratio is always excellent, and the portions are generous. Smaller portions are always available, and they'll try to accommodate changes if they're not too complicated. You absolutely must go there; it's worth it. The staff is always up for a chat when they have time and appreciates honest feedback. 10/10

This place deserves nothing less than a perfect score. It's so popular that we sometimes needed five attempts to get a table with a reservation. Incredible! The food is fantastic. I've driven past it countless times and finally stopped in. Everything (service, atmosphere, friendliness) is absolutely fantastic. I can't describe it any other way. Wonderful!

The food was good, but on the buffer day we waited almost 2 hours for the food and almost 45 minutes for the waiter to take our order. It's definitely better on normal days.

A very cozy, rustic restaurant surrounded by gardens with friendly and attentive service (August 6). You were truly wonderful. The food portions are very generous and very tasty. Kudos to the cook. It was my first time there and I felt very comfortable.

It's best to reserve a table, as it can get very busy. Ordering is quick, and prices are reasonable. The staff is very friendly.

I ate at the Sternhöhe restaurant in Leipzig today and was absolutely thrilled! The service was fast and exceptionally friendly. Both my starter (spiced beef) and the main course (schnitzel with fries and chanterelle mushrooms) arrived super quickly and were very well prepared and delicious. The portions are large, beautifully presented, and the value for money is truly excellent. I'll be back and highly recommend Sternhöhe!

There's a waitress here who can't be mistaken. A slim one with a ponytail. She's ALWAYS polite and always has a smile for her customers. Thank you...

The food was okay. Unfortunately, the menu doesn't have much variety. The waitress in the restaurant (a bit older with blonde hair) made a pleasant impression at first, but that quickly changed. I felt very uncomfortable in her presence because she rolled her eyes and seemed annoyed at every little question. Even when I asked if it was possible to leave out the bacon, she only gave me a rude answer! I was so shocked by her rude, annoyed manner that we wanted to leave out the restaurant! There's no question that the job is stressful! But treating customers like that is completely unacceptable! Unfortunately, we won't be coming back because of this waitress!

To describe it briefly, without much fanfare! Food: 5 stars plus top👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 Praise to the chef🙏🏽 Service: 1 star more than unfriendly! That didn't work at all! We felt really uncomfortable in the cozy, rustic inn! Everything didn't fit together! It's a shame! We felt more than unwelcome instead of welcome! Not particularly nice! This means we can't give a full star rating! Which is unfortunate! Despite the chef and his very good food, we will be back and hope that until then the hospitality will be friendly and emphatic towards the guests!

Very cozy restaurant with a nice outdoor area. The food was great, the portion size was definitely more than enough. The service was extremely patient and very polite! Despite the full tables, we didn't have to wait long and there was a smile from the waitress. We'd love to come back!

Great address for food and drink. Homemade cuisine with seating inside and outside when the weather is nice. It is also a popular place for celebrations. Actually it should be 5 stars! We had a lovely birthday party, everything was great! Only at the end we were so occupied by a young, dynamic waitress that I will definitely avoid this restaurant! This restaurant is not suitable for dog owners! I should keep my four-legged friend on a leash at all times, even though he was lying quietly at the table the whole time! Eating with a dog leash, what's the point! We've been to many restaurants, but I've never experienced anything like this! Best example that good young skilled workers are rare!

I was in the restaurant for schnitzel day and was very satisfied. The schnitzel was well prepared, the portion was sufficient. The side dishes were fresh and appropriate. The service was friendly and accommodating. Overall, a solid experience that I would happily recommend.

The service was more than great, very friendly and accommodating. The food was incredibly delicious, so much so that we were raving about it for hours afterwards. Prices are absolutely okay, I would even spend more money for this delicious food. Food was more than sufficient. The salad was very fresh and tasty. A spontaneous meal with the family (on Friday evening) brought us here. It was full, but the four of us still managed to get a table. The waitress was alone, but we couldn't complain. We were invited to a celebration in this restaurant. Nice, large rooms, easy to reach, pleasant outdoor seating in warm weather. Service staff friendly, we were well supplied with drinks. The buffet wasn't the best. The cold route was okay, but the warm route unfortunately only gets 2 points. Food was lukewarm, croquettes sticky, medallions dry, colorless and tasteless. Everything else fell into place. The warm track was disappointing across the board. No signage at all for the buffet.

So at the beginning everything was super nice, the employees were super, some of them got a bit soggy and the next day they noticed that the fat was totally spoiled and taking everything out wasn't recommended

We were here in a large group for the class reunion. You can sit comfortably and it's open late - which is now unusual! The food was good, the prices are OK and the service was really great!

Today we spontaneously had an appetite for a nice schnitzel with beer on our ☀️ bike tour 🚲 and were more than satisfied. The schnitzel was really tasty, the salad was very fresh and the fries were very good. The beer 🍺 from the barrel was really good, we'll be back! 🙋‍♀️ We had to wait a little longer until our order was taken, but I think that was due to today's event in front of the restaurant with bratwurst, meatballs & co. 🍻 🍷... The friendliness of the service staff still leaves a little room for improvement, that's something It's a shame, because two out of three waiters put in a lot of effort and are extremely friendly. Actually a nice restaurant... But you didn't really feel welcome.... One of the 2 waitresses seemed a bit overwhelmed. It was also because there was a private celebration. I would have preferred if you were honestly told that they were fully booked instead of getting a loveless farmer's omelet and a partially black chicken breast that was cleverly placed on the burnt side. The prices are ok...

Auf mich wirkte es wie eine Gartenkneipe. Das kann natürlich schön sein, aber kulinarische Genüsse darf man nicht erwarten. Das Rotkraut war stark zerkocht, die Gänsekeule schmeckte nach nix, Kroketten oder Klöße waren wahrscheinlich Tiefkühlkost und an den Weingläsern waren teilweise noch Reste von Lippenstift dran.

Wir haben gut gegessen. Sehr schmackhaft,ausreichende Portionen. Unser Fleisch (Hirsch und Flugente) war super weich,der Preis top. Alles absolut empfehlenswert für ein Gartenlokal .

Wir sind hier in Leipzig auf Kurzurlaub und haben im Internet ein Restaurant in der Nähe unseres Hotels gesucht. Zum Glück sind wir auf dieses kleine und gemütliche Restaurant gestoßen. Es ist sicher nicht das modernste aber ordentlich (urig) und sauber. Das Essen wird frisch zubereitet und schmeckt wirklich lecker. Die Preise sind astronomisch niedrig und die Bedienung herausragend freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Wir können dieses kleine Restaurant nur empfehlen!!!! Tipp: Vielleicht lieber vorher reservieren!

Wir haben die Gaststätte zum ersten Mal besucht. Sie hat einen schönen Freisitz welchen wir genutzt haben. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen bestimmt wieder.

Das Essen war sehr lecker haben aber allerdings 1 Stunde auf das darauf gewartet.Meine Frau hatte noch einen Eisbecher ohne Sahne bestellt,aber er kam mit Sahne vielleicht hatte das Personal nur einen schlechten Tag, wir kommen gerne wieder vorbei

Dort gibt es für mich das beste gutbürgerliche Essen in ganz Leipzig.. Muss man wirklich mal probieren. Preislich für jeden Geldbeutel erschwinglich. Sehr gemütlich innen wie aussen.
