"An absolute highlight in Leipzig! I was completely impressed by the Vergissmeinnicht restaurant. The Braumeister Schnitzel that I was able to enjoy there was perfectly prepared - juicy, crispy and refined with a great, spicy sauce. The service was equally outstanding: friendly, attentive and with a lot of heart. The cozy atmosphere completes the whole thing and invites you to linger. An insider tip for everyone who appreciates good food and a warm atmosphere. I will definitely come back!

The restaurant has undergone a big change. I knew it at least 25 years ago. Now it is a very nice restaurant with good German cuisine. The menu is varied and very good. The staff is also very friendly.

What a great restaurant. We were traveling in Leipzig and chose this small restaurant. The reservation could be made easily online and there are enough parking spaces on site. Cozy restaurant with traditional German home cooking at reasonable prices. Family atmosphere. There is a large ballroom attached, as well as a beautiful beer garden and well-kept sanitary facilities. There are beautiful gardens in the area that invite you to stroll and linger. We have often spent lovely afternoons here as part of family celebrations and always enjoy getting together to enjoy the delicacies on offer here. Full recommendation!

Ordered for 9 people in the afternoon. We were able to sit in the beer garden in the wonderful sunshine. The drink order was taken and our thirst was quenched. We ordered a colorful mix from the menu. Whether farmer's breakfast, Rostbrätl, steak ou for, garlic bread, Hawaiian chicken and so on, everyone was thrilled with the food. It was lovingly and appetizingly prepared and tasted good too. Many thanks to the entire team for a successful afternoon.

We've been here several times, it's never been too crowded but the service is always great and the food is delicious.

We were in Leipzig last Sunday and walked 2 km in 31 degree temperatures to this restaurant. When we got there, some tables were occupied and the rest were reserved. When we politely asked that there were two of us, they made a reservation. Unfortunately no. Then the waitress says I don't have a seat, I'm alone with one employee and I don't want another bad review. We asked again because we were thirsty and the answer was no. This restaurant is not recommended. Such unfriendly service at 31 degrees. So our first visit to Leipzig was marred by such an employee. We walked back and found a nice Greek restaurant. The food was great, the beer was cold and the service was attentive and courteous. And there were no signs on the table reserved to select potential guests and others not even to sell a drink at 31 degrees. Just sad and bad for business. It doesn't help that the reviews say the food is great.

I have to give this flower 5 stars! The ambience invites you to a cozy lunch/evening. The staff are down-to-earth and are happy to say a casual saying/word from time to time. And the dishes are always first class.

Warm welcome. Very friendly. It has to be said straight away that you have to find the way first because there is construction work here and the street is actually only open for pedestrians and cyclists. But the restaurant was well attended. We liked the food very much. Of course you have to wait a bit. But it's worth it. We wish you continued good business and satisfied guests. See you again soon

Service could be improved to the highest degree... 1 hour waiting time for two beers, with an announced birthday party for a group of 30 people. Orders were neither taken nor fulfilled. Food was served an hour and a half to two hours after ordering. Food was sufficient and good. Unskilled staff...but very nice, resulting in chaotic conditions. Very harsh tone from the boss!.....After visiting this restaurant several times, at the request of a friend, I will never set foot in this location again!....It's called RESTAURANT after all!

We reserved almost a week in advance. But when we arrived we were immediately told that there was no more space in the restaurant itself. Everything is full. Big family celebration… Only outside is free. But we saw that there were still free seats at the edge inside the whole time. Afterwards we had to wait over 75 minutes for our food. In the meantime it had become so cold that we were very cold. In terms of food, only 1 dish was really convincing (schnitzel). When it came to the vegan dishes, I wasn't sure whether they were actually vegan. The mozzarella cheese on the salad certainly didn't make the impression. The pasta with the salmon was very tasteless and the salmon itself was very small. To be honest, a €2.50 meal from the cafeteria was more convincing than the €19 meal. Unfortunately, we couldn't avoid the 20 smokers either, which gave the food a “special” touch. Overall, a very sad and disappointing Mother's Day gift. Update to the answer: The waitress asked us which table we would like. I meant “gladly indoors”. We only got the answer that it wasn't possible inside because of the family celebration. I didn't see any reservations on the tables either. I don't see any reason to make this up here either. There seems to have been a miscommunication within your team. The other guests should also sit outside. Only in the last few minutes did we go in again to warm up for the way back. Like all other guests. I don't deny in one word that other guests enjoyed it. But they probably weren't there when a large family celebration was taking place at the same time. It seemed as if the staff were simply overwhelmed. The fact that at least one vegan dish was obviously not vegan has nothing to do with taste. After 45 minutes ONE small appetizer arrived. We then had to wait a while for the main course. Wouldn't have been so bad if we hadn't all been freezing outside! And no, we should NOT go in.

It is very pleasing that there is a small selection of vegan dishes; I chose the pepper and mushroom pasta. Since there is a lack of protein-rich ingredients here, the portion was unfortunately too small to satisfy your hunger, but it really tasted delicious :) But the others were fed up with the non-vegan dishes.

1st Christmas Day, reserved date 1:00 p.m. Waited in the rain until 1:15 p.m., then found out in the anteroom that our table was still occupied. At 1:30 p.m. a table was hastily put together. However, the order could not yet be accepted because the waitress did not yet have a table number for it. After an hour the first drink actually arrived. After another hour, finally “lunch”. It was now 3:00 p.m. The so-called deer goulash was cold and tasted of nothing, and certainly not of deer. I have never had a light sauce with venison goulash. It also tasted like everything - except game. The roast goose was quite salty, the dumplings were extremely firm and the red cabbage was very sour. It's a shame about Christmas Day. That was our last visit!

1. Weihnachtfeiertag, Reservierter Termin 13:00 Uhr.Bis 13:15 Uhr im Regen gewartet, dann im Vorraum erfahren, dass unser Tisch noch besetzt ist. 13:30 Uhr wurde eilends ein Tisch zusammengestellt. Die Bestellung konnte nicht entgegengenommen werden da die Bedienung für diesen noch keine Tischnummer hatte. Nach einer Stunde kam dann tatsächlich das erste Getränk. Nach einer weitere Stunden endlich das "Mittagessen". Es war inzwischen 15:00 Uhr. Der sogenannte Hirschgulasch war kalt und schmeckte nach nichts. und schon gar nicht nach Hirsch. Ich habe bei Hirschgulasch noch niemals eine helle Soße bekommen. Auch sie schmeckte nach allem - nur nicht nach Wild. Gänsebraten war sehr salzig ud die Klöse waren außerst fest. Obwohl wir schon mehrmals in dieser Gastätte waren ist dies unser letzter Besuch gewesen.

Dieses Weihnachtsessen ging wohl in die Hose. 1,5 Stunden nach der Bestellung war dann endlich das Essen auf dem Tisch. Keine Ahnung was da passiert war, Gänsekeule was etwas salzig, Rotkohl zu sauer. Die Rechnungen waren durcheinander. Ich glaube 2024 suchen wir was anderes.

Wir waren am 25.12.23 zum weihnachtsessen. Es war sehr gut besucht, aber auch kein wunder bei dem leckerem essen und den netten Bedienungen. Man kann es auf jedenfalls weiter empfehlen. Und zwar so sehr das wir jetzt gerade wieder hier sind. Vielen dank

Auf alle Fälle vorbestellen. Das Essen war sehr lecker und reichlich. Bedienung auch immer freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir waren als 8 köpfige Gruppe da und Platzmäßig war es schon sehr sehr eng bei uns am Tisch, da vllt mal lange Tische aufstellen das man sich nicht so eingehängt fühlt. Des Weiteren wollten wir noch die Hausgemachten Waffel probieren da wurde uns mitgeteilt das es erst 30min dauern kann was kein Problem war, allerdings gab kurze Zeit später die Info das wir darauf 1h hätten warten müssten!? Das kann’s nicht sein. Da mal ggfs mehr Personal anheuern. Grade jetzt wo das Nadel geschlossen hat und sehr viele Leute hierher gehen.
