We are very satisfied... The food was delicious, fresh and plentiful... The service was top!!! Very friendly and accommodating!

We were in the restaurant at lunchtime at the same time as a wedding and despite the fact that it was very busy, everything was picked up super quickly and the food came relatively quickly, course by course. It was our first time there and definitely not the last time! The staff was super friendly...we can only warmly recommend it

Last week I was visiting relatives in Schwalbach, Germany with my family. The next day we saw that there was a restaurant nearby with good reviews, so we decided to give it a try. And honestly: it was much better than we expected. From the moment we entered the atmosphere was good: friendly welcome, cozy interior, and a great experience with different dishes - from the starter to the main course. I ordered veal with pepper sauce – absolutely delicious! At the end of the evening the chef, who is also the owner, stopped by to ask how it tasted. He told us something about the area and said a warm goodbye when we left. An evening you will never forget. Thank you, Michael!

The food is very good and really freshly cooked. The service was unfriendly at the beginning. After asking for something to drink, the guest was first told the rules of the restaurant. But after that it was OK. If several guests come, they need to be better prepared when it comes to drinks.

My parents have been going to Schwalbacher Hof for years, but the way they were treated yesterday was like dirt. My parents have been customers there for many years and have always reserved the table, but yesterday the boss sent them to the counter despite having reserved a seat. And then the boss yelled at my parents. Unfortunately that was the last visit there.

Absolute impudence! We were there today with 7 people and made reservations accordingly. Our table was occupied and the owner only told us that they had made a mistake. We were offered neither an apology nor a suggestion to visit the restaurant at a later date. Very unprofessional behavior by the owner. We will never see this restaurant again!!!

I spontaneously asked for a place for myself and was kindly offered it. Operation, service and above all the food is almost a gift for the price! The ambience is a bit rustic/classic. If you like it, it definitely has its charm 😁 The combination of good cuisine, friendly staff and this speed even though the shop is very full... UNBEATABLE! 👌💯 Definitely worth a visit! Where else is there something like that? A menu that tastes simply good for little money? Soup, salad, main course and a dessert are included in the price... crazy. Home-style cooking, very tasty, in a home-style atmosphere...truly Saarland. The tables are cramped, but we had friendly table neighbors next to us... and how could it be otherwise, you know ääna who knows ääna 😀... We'll be back, it was just great!

Good home-style food at a very fair price. There is only one menu with several courses, schnitzel (pork, veal and turkey), steak, medallion or cordon bleu First there is some tomato mozzarella, then a soup, a salad, the main course and for dessert either an ice cream, an iced coffee or espresso The whole thing costs an average of €25 - a really sensational price for top taste and good quality. Nice staff. Only the ambience is a bit unpleasant, you feel more like you're in a pub than in a restaurant.

I often come to eat here on weekends. A very cozy place with very nice service. I find the young girl with dark hair and glasses and the slim woman with short blonde hair the most likeable. The food is also delicious and there is also a vegetarian alternative. I can only recommend it. It's worth leaving a tip here :)

We discovered the restaurant while on vacation based on the reviews. You come to a cozy village pub and are served 5 outstanding courses for a truly unbeatable price. There is a sign on the door that says “No petty things” and that is adhered to. You should definitely arrive here very hungry. We ate rump steak, perfectly cooked, wonderfully tender and a very generous portion. The staff is super friendly and we also got lots of tips for the rest of our stay. If we are in the area again, we will definitely come back!

Essen verdient 5 Sterne plus. Alles schmeckt Hervorragend. Alles frisch zubereitet, tolle Qualität. Preis -Leistung , geht nicht besser. Waren schon des öfteren mit mehreren Personen hier,alle rundum zufrieden. Kompliment an die hervorragende Küche, auch das Personal sehr freundlich. Werden noch sehr oft uns hier verwöhnen lassen.

We were there on Sunday lunchtime for dinner without a reservation, we got a nice place for 2 people, the service staff was friendly and not intrusive, the food was very tasty but the portions were quite large since you can only eat from the menu

The food was very good, perfectly seasoned and visually attractively presented. Steak cooked to perfection and also the pork Medallions, service very attentive and personable very confident, simply great. The only drawback is unfortunately no drinks menu but that is in the works! Drinks seem expensive? we will be back.

A great surprise. The restaurant is inconspicuous from the outside but inside it really gets down to business with portions that fill you up. The maps are a bit confusing at first, but you quickly figure that out. The service is nice and quick. The kitchen was a hit. I'll definitely come by again.

5 years ago (2019) the restaurant was full at lunchtime. Nothing worked without a table reservation. The prices were great. Last week I was there at lunchtime and it was almost empty, the food was good, but unfortunately the prices were a bit more expensive.

Wir gehen hier sehr gerne hin. Wenn man akzeptiert, dass die Getränkekarte (außer Fruchtsäften und Schweppes-Produkten) zwar von allem etwas hat, aber keine riesige Auswahl und wenn man die Systematik der Menüs verstanden hat, kann man hier sehr lecker essen. ALLES ist frisch zubereitet und trifft unseren Geschmack. Der Salat hat Balsamico dabei und schmeckt dennoch. Die Suppe ist gute Hausmannskost, woe sie meine Mutter früher an Sonntagen kredenzt hat. Sie weckt schöne Erinnerungen. Das Fleisch der Hauptspeise ist auf den Punkt geraten, Steak englisch ist echt englisch. Dazu kommt die Menge des Hauptgerichte. Ich kann gut und wirklich viel essen, aber hier stoße selbst ich an meine Grenzen. Sodass wir beide bisher immer statt des Desserts einen Espresso nahmen. Hier gibt es wirklich gutes Essen, mit Herz und Können gekocht und nett angerichtet und das alles zu einem fairen Preis. Die Erhöhung der MwSt hat weder die Portionen schrumpfen lassen, noch die Preise erhöht. Klasse. Dass dafür die Getränkekarte ausgedünnt wurde und es keine Kekse zum Kaffee gibt, nehme ich dann gerne in Kauf. An den Wochenenden geht nix ohne Vorbestellung, das zeigt mir, daß ich mit meiner Meinung nicht alleine bin. Lasst es euch schmecken

The concept of the restaurant is not for me. A 5-course menu with choice of main course. The food itself is good but xxl. That just becomes too much.

Meat lovers will definitely get their money's worth here. The concept is explained quite quickly: there is always a 5-course menu, with the main course being freely selectable. Tomato mozzarella as a starter, then a beef soup followed by a salad plate. For my main course I had a rump steak (approx. 400g) with pepper cream sauce. For dessert you can choose between espresso, ice cream or iced coffee. All in all, the menu was very tasty and worth every cent. The drinks are too expensive for my taste, €5 for a large special or a large beer doesn't have to be. The toilets have also seen better days. Nevertheless, I would recommend to everyone: go there and treat yourself to a steak!

First time in the restaurant and I have to say not the last time. Very friendly service and the 4 course menu was very tasty. I immediately ordered another table for Easter. Everything was very clean and the food was really great. Looking forward to the next time.

Der Service weiß was er tut und ist super freundlich, die Räumlichkeiten sind sehr einladend und für das Essen findet man kaum die richtigen Superlative, es ist jeden Cent wert. Das Rumpsteak zum Beispiel kam auf den Teller wie bestellt, medium, absolut perfekt auf den Punkt gegart und so dermaßen zart, dass man im Prinzip nichtmal mehr Zähne braucht um es zu essen, qualitativ ist das nichtmehr besser hinzubekommen. Wer gerne essen geht und in der Gegend wohnt, sollte dort minimum ein Mal einen Tisch reserviert haben. Preis- Leistung: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Qualität - Essen: 5/5 Quantität - Essen: 5/5

Üppige 5 Gänge Schnitzel-, Steak-Menüs, auch vegetarische Schnitzel! Karlsberg vom Fass und, wenn es sein muss, Bitburger aus der Flasche ;-) Sehr zuvorkommender Service. Chef erkundigt sich persönlich nach dem Wohlbefinden. :-) Schönes Erlebnis!
