Wir waren gestern Abend dort spontan eingekehrt. Ich bin total begeistert, wir hatten Pizza und Burger. Beides war sehr lecker! Eine tolle Stimmung dort, humane Preise und sehr nettes Personal. Wir kommen wieder!

Gutes Essen, preislich sehr gut, tolles Ambiente. Bestellung etwas ungewohnt, dafür trotz Andrang zügig serviert.

Toller Biergarten mit leckerem Essen und sehr moderaten Preisen.

Wir waren heute in toller Gesellschaft und waren positiv überrascht vom sehr guten Essen, den vielen Sitzplätzen, dem sehr netten Service und – was besonders wichtig ist – der kurzen Wartezeit. Ich kann das Restaurant also nur empfehlen: nett, freundlich, gemütlich und preiswert.

Schöner Biergarten und freundliche Bedienung, was man vom Wirt leider nicht behaupten kann. Besonders ärgerlich: Auf der Getränkekarte wird Aperol angeboten, ausgeschenkt wird jedoch nur eine Billigmarke, ohne die Gäste darauf hinzuweisen. Wer Aperol bestellt, darf auch erwarten Aperol zu erhalten. Ich hoffe, dass der Wirt seine Getränkekarte entsprechend angepasst bzw. seine Gäste künftig ehrlich informiert.

Selbstbedienung!! Geht es noch? Personal zum Abräumen steht teilweise gelangweilt herum! Zu einem guten Biergarten gehört ein Service dazu! Das schärfte ist, man bekommt keine Rechnung für seine bestellte Ware. Geschweige denn einen Bewirtungsbeleg! Arbeitet man in dieser Lokalität in die eigene Tasche? Nie wieder!!

Ein wirklich toller Ort. Die Einrichtung ist wunderschön und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Das Essen ist einfach köstlich und sein Geld absolut wert. Großzügige Portionen. Leckeres Bier aus der Region. Einfach erstklassig 👍 Pünktlich erscheinen. Aufgrund des guten Rufs ist es immer unglaublich voll.

Absolut empfehlenswert! Das Essen ist jedes Mal sehr lecker und die Speisekarte bietet eine riesige Auswahl. Egal ob Pizza, Burger, Pasta, Schnitzel oder viele weitere Gerichte – hier findet wirklich jeder etwas. Besonders begeistert bin ich von der Pizza. Die Pizza Mediterrana mit Lachs ist für mich ein absoluter Traum und jedes Mal aufs Neue ein Genuss. Der Teig ist super, die Zutaten sind frisch und geschmacklich passt einfach alles. Auch der Service ist freundlich und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt. Ich komme immer wieder gerne hierher und kann die Schrepfersmühle uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Super coole Location in der Fränkischen Schweiz. Absoluter top Biergarten mit tollen Preisen, lecker Essen und besonderem Flair

Einer der schönsten Biergärten in denen ich bisher war. Wir kamen um 14 Uhr an einem heißen Sommertag und haben problemlos einen Tisch bekommen. Durch das selbstständige Bestellen am Thresen entstanden keine unnötigen Wartezeiten und auch das Essen wurde innerhalb von 10 Minuten an unseren Tisch gebracht. Auch die Preise sind wirklich mehr als fair. Für ein riesiges Hauptgericht und eine Limo nur 11€ zu zahlen ist mittlerweile fast nirgendwo mehr möglich. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Wunderbar gelungener Biergarten im Kleinziegenfelder Tal. Es gibt eine gute Auswahl an Pasta, Pizza, Salat und Burger sowie Schnitzel und wechselnden Tagesgerichten. Bestellung direkt an der Theke. Getränke kann man sofort mitnehmen und die Speisen werden nach kurzer Warte vom freundlichen Service an den Tisch gebracht. Die Preise sind familienfreundlich gestaltet und die Portionen in einer ordentlich Größe. Geschmacklich ist alles hervorragend und man fühlt sich in diesem Ambiente äußerst wohl.

Ein wunderschöner Biergarten in Franken. Liebevoll eingerichtet und das Besienpersonal sehr freundlich und unheimlich aufmerksam. Der einzige Punkt, den man bemängeln kann und eigentlich muss, ist die lustlose und unfreundliche Dame hinter der Theke, die keine gute Werbung für diesen wirklich schönen Biergarten ist. Gegessen haben wir einen Antipasti-Teller, und Tiramisu, was wir uns zu zweit geteilt hatten. Das Tiramisu war ein Träumen und der Antipasti-Teller superlecker. Das Preis- / Leistungsniveau ist sehr fair! Auch wenn die Dame an der Theke nicht an Freundlichkeit zulegt, ist das eine wirklich gute Adresse.

Wunderschöner Biergarten! Bei meinem Besuch waren beide Parkplätze bereits voll, und trotzdem waren noch reichlich Plätze zur Wahl. Der Aussenbereich ist wirklich hübsch angelegt, für Schatten wird mit Sonnenschirmen gesorgt. Die Preise sind fair und die Wartezeit war extrem kurz (20 Minuten) trotz der vielen anderen Gäste. Das Essen war super lecker, wenn auch die Pizza gern etwas mehr ausfallen könnte. Ich bin satt geworden aber ich esse auch eher weniger. Wenn ich mal wieder in der Gegend bin, komme ich auf jeden Fall vorbei 😋

Sehr schön gestaltet. Essen von hoher Qualität und reichlich. Bestellen ist unkompliziert, Getränke kann man sich aus dem Kühlschrank selbst aussuchen und preiswert. Das Essen kommt schnell an den Tisch. Platz suchen, bestellen, essen alles innerhalb einer Stunde ganz entspannt erledigt. Personal sind eigentlich alle sehr freundlich, nur die Chefin ist oft etwas fränkisch reserviert!

Ein traumhafter Ort. Alles ist grün und wunderschön. Wirklich leckeres Essen, große Auswahl und exzellentes Bier. Besondere Atmosphäre.

Das Ambiente ist aus meiner Sicht sehr individuell und mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Selten in Deutschland einen solch schönen Biergarten gesehen. Aber das war es aus meiner Sicht leider auch schon. Sehr positiv zu bewerten sind die sehr freundlichen Mitarbeiter, welche das Essen an den Tisch bringen. Von diesen könnten die zwei Griesgrämer hinter der Theke noch etwas lernen. Furchtbar die zwei. Das Essen, Schweinerückensteak in Pfeffersauce mit Pommes. 1 Pfefferkorn habe ich tatsächlich gefunden, der Rest war von der Konsistenz und dem Geschmack her eine billige Fertigsauce. Leider. Das Fleisch so geklopft, dass es fasrig- trocken war. Hier von gutem Essen zu sprechen bedarf schon einiger Fantasie. Sehr sehr schade um dies Location.

Es ist ein Rundumpaket -> man kommt an und fühlt sich pudelwohl. Egal ob an kühlen Tag drin ( Reservierung erforderlich) oder bei gutem Wetter draußen. Es ist einen Ausflug wert. Essen: Geschmack, Größe und Preisleistung, da stimmt alles 🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶 einfach selbst erleben ❣️

Essen ist sehr gut und die Portionen sind groß. Hier gibt es lecker Burger, Pizza, Pasta, Schnitzel und viele mehr. Es gibt eine gute Auswahl an regionalen Bier. Als Nachtisch können wir den Kaiserschmarrn empfehlen. Zu beachten ist, das es durch die Lage im Tal sehr kühl ist, was an einem heißen Sommertag super angenehm ist.

Wir sind sonst immer sehr gerne in diese Location. Wunderschön gelegen, großer Biergarten, gutes Essen. Leider 45 Minuten Fahrzeit entfernt. In den letzten Wochen habe ich vermehrt versucht einen Tisch zu reservieren. Unter anderem für eine größere Gruppe mit gehbehinderten Personen. Reservierung im Innenbereich wurde abgelehnt mit dem Hinweis, man würde in der Biergartensaison nicht reservieren. Da man im Mai von schönem Wetter ausgeht, vergibt man keine Reservierungen im Innenraum. Heute bei 8 Grad und Regen auf gut Glück hin gefahren. Alle Tische im Innenraum waren reserviert (!). Wir sind weg geschickt worden mit den Worten wir hätten eben reservieren müssen... So wie uns ging es weiteren Gästen. Telefonisch kaum erreichbar, auf Emails gibt es nur sporadisch eine Antwort. Sorry, Kundenservice ist etwas anderes, wir werden uns künftig auf andere Locations konzentrieren.

Ein Ort inmitten der Natur. Ein Ort, an den man, wenn man einmal dort war, unbedingt zurückkehren möchte.

Dieses Lokal ist aus unserer Sicht immer einen Besuch wert. Man sollte allerdings etwas Glück oder eine Reservierung mitbringen, denn es kann durchaus passieren, dass es so voll ist, dass man keinen Platz mehr bekommt. Das Essen ist richtig gut, frisch zubereitet und dabei angenehm günstig, das Bier schmeckt hervorragend und auch das Ambiente passt einfach. Für uns eine klare Empfehlung.

Spitze Essen, große Auswahl, günstige Preise

Gestern war ich im wunderschönen Biergarten zu Gast. Preis-Leistung ist in Ordnung. Da es keine veganen Gerichte gibt , wollte ich ein vegetarisches Gericht ohne Käse bestellen, weil der Schafskäse sowieso extra in Folie war. Leider reagierte die Chefin sehr unfreundlich auf diesen Wunsch. Natürlich war sehr viel los und es ist nachvollziehbar, aber alleine die Reaktion war sehr ruppig . Ich finde, dass in der heutigen Zeit mindestens ein veganes Gericht angeboten werden sollte. Ansonsten war der Aufenthalt nett.

Essen schmeckt gut, es sind grosse Portionen. Leider etwas viel los, liegt wahrscheinlich am guten und günstigen essen. Parkplatz ist leider auch oft ziemlich voll. Aber trotzdem sehr zu empfehlen.

Great location. Quaint ambiance inside. Spacious outdoor area in summer. The menu offers a good selection from simple to high-quality dishes. The service is attentive and very friendly. Unfortunately, it gets very busy during peak season due to its location in a hiking area.

Everything is very quaint and atmospherically furnished and decorated. There's a large outdoor area, a covered outdoor area, and an indoor area. The food is plentiful and delicious. The prices are very reasonable compared to other restaurants. We will definitely eat here again.

The food wasn't that good, the fries were delicious, the cheese in the Cordon Bleu ran out like water and then solidified on the plate again. It tasted like an imitation cheese. It ruined the flavor of the food. A good Gouda would have been better. Given the value for money, I gave it two stars. We're restaurateurs ourselves, and this kind of cheese should be banned. Bottles and glasses shouldn't be carried to the table under the arm; there's a tray for that. We were amazed. Typical characteristics of imitation cheese in the Cordon Bleu: • Consistency: When heated, it doesn't become creamy and stringy, but rather liquid and sometimes watery or oily. • Color: Often pale white to light yellow, instead of golden yellow like real cheese. • Extrusion: When cut or fried, it can run like a thin, milky liquid – sometimes it looks like white water or oil with white streaks. • Smell and taste: Hardly any cheese aroma, rather neutral or slightly artificial, without the typical scent of melted Emmental or Gouda. Real cheese filling, on the other hand: • Becomes viscous and stringy, remains golden yellow, and smells intensely of cheese. • Doesn't come out as "watery," but rather strings or remains creamy in the meat.

Great restaurant with very friendly staff and delicious food

Always worth a visit! Never disappointed.

But nothing at all changes!!! A really nice place, delicious food, good value for money. But the guy at the drinks counter is behaving really abysmally. How can someone snap at their customers like that and be so unfriendly? Impossible, never again, no matter how good the food tastes. It's a real shame, I loved this place and I came here often. But since yesterday I've had enough. I'm not a squeamish person when it comes to Franconian friendliness, but this is really too much. Slapping my glass of hot water in someone's face without even telling them where the tea is is downright cheeky. It's a shame that someone his age knows nothing about politeness and friendliness. Now he can snap at others, who will hopefully draw the same conclusions from his behavior. Otherwise he won't learn anything.

We always enjoy coming to Schrepfersmühle. Yesterday we were out cycling and stopped in for lunch. We had a sensational cordon bleu; it couldn't be better. The meat was tender, the breading was crispy and cooked to perfection. The fries were just as delicious. A dream, thanks.

The Mühle could be considered an insider tip if it weren't already so well known. You simply pick a table, remember the number, and then order food and drinks at the counter. The food is served later. The Mühle is very cozy both inside and out. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The burgers, for example, are delicious. A large Aperol costs only €5. And so on. Thank you.

The service staff was very friendly. The manager, unfortunately, was extremely unfriendly and rude. The food has declined significantly over the past few months. They're just living off their feet. It's a shame.

A beautiful place. The food was excellent. A rather rude guy at the bar. He yells at the customers, telling them to order together. It's best to take a group order in the queue. I ordered an Aperol, and the woman behind me also ordered one after me. The guy practically freaked out, wondering why she hadn't said so right away. It's the customers' fault it's taking so long. Disgraceful. He should take a etiquette course.

A very nice beer garden, with excellent food ordered at the bar and then brought to your table. And the prices are unbeatable, too. A superb idyllic atmosphere! Delicious regional beers on tap. A great pub, perfect for a drink and a bite to eat after hiking through the valley and up the hill. Partly self-service. Good food, delicious beer. Always happy to come back.

Highly recommended, very idyllic, good food at reasonable prices. The service concept is different, but very good. We were there around 3:30 p.m. (it usually opens at 3:00 p.m.), and the parking lot was already half full. Parking later on is a matter of luck, or you have to walk further.

The food was delicious. This was my second time there. It was always a Sunday and the place was quite busy, but the weather was also good. The atmosphere was very nice, matching the food. The only downside was probably the manager, who was very rude and abrupt last time. Otherwise, nothing to complain about.

These days, there are only good, customer-oriented, or bad mass-market restaurants. Fortunately, these money-making businesses will disappear sooner rather than later. Close quickly or promptly hand over to professionals who treat all customers as human beings. Until then, any other establishment is preferable to this one.

Despite the idyllic ambiance, I unfortunately can't recommend it. After asking if they had Chococcino, the manager informed me that this was a beer garden, not a café. My friend wanted to know what he could safely eat there due to his intolerances. The manager replied that he didn't offer advice. He also commented that restaurants had to close because of customers like him. Allergens were listed on the menu. Very unfriendly. Unfortunately, very disappointing and not customer-focused. We left!

Yesterday, after a Sunday outing, the four of us stopped by the Schrepfersmühle. Our first impression was dominated by the lively atmosphere: it was very crowded and accordingly loud, which gave the place a certain bustle. Luckily, a table just opened up, so we could sit down right away. However, ordering proved a bit of a chore. After waiting 20 minutes in a long line at the food counter, we were served by a waiter with curly hair, whose demeanor was unfortunately very rude and unfriendly. This experience was disappointing and almost made us leave. A more cordial demeanor would certainly make a big difference here, because ultimately, it's the guests who make the business work. After ordering, we got our drinks and waited for the food. Unfortunately, the wait times varied greatly: the first dish arrived after 20 minutes, the second after 40 minutes, and the last two after an hour and ten minutes. This somewhat dampened the overall impression. However, the waiters who cleared the tables deserve special mention. They were consistently extremely friendly, courteous, and helpful – there's really nothing to complain about here. The prices at Schrepfersmühle are a definite plus: both the food and drinks are very reasonably priced. However, this is also reflected in the quality of the food. The burger with fries was solid and perfectly fine. The Cordon Bleu, however, was rather average and had a slightly "sugary" pork flavor, which wasn't particularly convincing. The pizza, unfortunately, wasn't a highlight either – the yeast dough was more reminiscent of doner kebab bread than classic pizza dough. You probably can't expect too much for the low prices, but a little more attention to detail would have been nice. Overall, thanks to its idyllic location, Schrepfersmühle definitely has the potential to be more than just a lovingly designed cafeteria with cheap food. With shorter wait times, friendlier service at the food counter, and a little more focus on the quality of the food, this place could really shine. We might come again, hoping for a more complete experience.

Excellent food, very friendly staff, well organized. Excellent value for money. We had fish soup and a Marrakesh platter, both delicious, along with a shandy and a mineral water, both 0.5 l, for a total of €23.00.

We ended up there by chance. It's a shame we didn't discover this cozy beer garden sooner; we would have stopped by more often if we were. If we're ever in the area again, we'd definitely go back. We highly recommend the Kaiserschmarrn, Aperol Spritz, and various types of beer, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.

The atmosphere is great, and the service is self-service: you order and pay at the counter. When your food is ready, it's brought to your table. You can also purchase and bring your own drinks. Some dishes are delicious, while others are so-so. The hamburger was overcooked and dry, and the bun was cold. I recommend bringing a friend for a relaxing time.

It was my first time here and I was pleasantly surprised. It's a charming place, tucked away in a quiet spot. There are two parking lots, so parking is no problem. There are plenty of tables, but beware! They'll be pushy Germans who try to grab your table even though others are free. If you refuse, they'll stare you down. This happened three times during one visit to the garden! Let's move on to the service: very friendly and efficient! The wait for food wasn't long, about 15-20 minutes, even though there were a lot of people. The location is great because you feel like you're eating in the middle of the forest. We ordered a dark beer, Lillet, Burger Jack, Burger Cheese, and a Delicioza pizza. The burgers were delicious and the fries were delicious! We also enjoyed the pizza, but the crust was a bit thin. Nevertheless, I was very satisfied and will definitely return, as long as the staff can control the people who insist on sitting at your table.

A very unfriendly manager who couldn't take criticism. A disappointment for me as a regular beer garden visitor. I had to complain about the beer because it tasted very watery. Instead of accepting my criticism and offering me an alternative, I was laughed at and left standing. I was told to contact the brewery. I worked in the restaurant industry for a long time and am shocked by this reaction. The 60 km drive based on a recommendation was therefore not worth it. The food prices were too high compared to other restaurants. Drinks were reasonably priced.

What an idyllic place! And where in 2025 can you still get draft beer for €3 a glass and a large stone-baked Margherita pizza for under €10? I hope this place lasts forever! Absolutely fantastic! We were thrilled.

Great place along a river in a rustic former papermill with eclectic decor and lots of outdoor seating, this is a hidden gem. I strongly recommend the wooden oven pizzas, the burgers, the grilled cheese and needless to say, this is Bavaria, the beers on tap.

A "place of power" - to recharge in many ways

We happened upon this place by chance on our hike. It's a very nice self-service beer garden, and the food is really good. I had the best pizza here in a long time. And the prices are unbeatable, too. We'd love to come back again 😊.

The food hasn't been perfect since the new kitchen staff arrived. The schnitzel was very dry, the fried potatoes were swimming in fat and had a strange taste. There used to be more food on offer. You have to get non-alcoholic drinks from the fridge yourself these days; you only pay at the counter. It's been a lot worse. Service staff are sometimes bored and unfriendly. No longer recommended.
