I was very satisfied with my visit to the Schlossterrassen restaurant. The main course came quickly, was beautifully prepared and tasted really good. The cake was also a highlight – very tasty and generously portioned. Overall a great experience and highly recommended!

We wanted to have a drink for two. Despite the half-empty restaurant, we were rejected by a waitress who said that she didn't have a table for two and that she was alone. She was gone and we got out again. I have never experienced anything so unfriendly.

We were there in wonderful weather. Unfortunately there was no way to make more generous use of the sufficient space outside (with a fantastic view) (there were enough chairs and tables available or stacked up, but when asked by the staff they were blocked relatively quickly) The food was good. Not particularly outstanding but not bad either. We ordered a schnitzel with fried potatoes instead of fries. This cost an additional 2.50 euros. Whether this is justified remains to be seen. Our conditions were very, very friendly.

When we arrived on site we were quickly asked what we wanted. We didn't have to wait long before what we ordered was already at the table. Unfortunately, I have to say, the cappuccino for €4.30 was a bit low for me. Tasty, but out of proportion. The piece of cake was really tasty - the fact that it became too much for me after a few bites was my fault and not the cake's fault.

The cake is still heavy in my stomach at almost 11 p.m. It was good, but really heavy and buttery 🥴 Service was top notch. I'm still fed up 😝

Despite the best sunshine and only half of the tables on the outside terrace were occupied, we were not allowed to sit outside. So just bad service.

Extremely unfriendly shop. In beautiful weather (even though there were still 6 tables available) we were rejected with the sentence that you weren't allowed to sit here. When asked for an explanation, all I received was a thank you and a smile and the waitress was gone. We left straight away. Didn't work at all.

If you visit the castle, the castle terraces are a MUST! Delicious food, great and friendly service staff and the view is priceless.

Overall very neat. The food came quickly and was tasty. My child didn't really like the pasta with tomato sauce. Farmer's breakfast is plentiful.

A visit that, in retrospect, we would have gladly avoided. We arrived at 5 p.m. and wanted to have some tea and hot chocolate. Somewhat reluctantly, we were able to sit down even though the sign outside said open until 6 p.m. The tables inside and outside were cluttered with dirty dishes. The toilets also looked the same. Sure the view is nice, but everything else leaves a lot to be desired!

As part of an excursion we ordered seats at the Schlossterrassen restaurant in Wernigerode. The entrance area (photos) could have warned us in advance. Loveless and unkempt. We had space on the very beautiful glazed terrace. My schnitzel (20.90), medium standard, would have liked to have been a little larger, fries a very meager portion, the person sitting next to me had a third more of them. Everything is pretty lame. Dirt under the table, sticky menages and an untidy table with cheap napkins didn't really make eating a pleasure. Please make up your own mind about the toilet. Advertisements for family celebrations etc. are hung on the inside of the toilet door; it fits in quite well with the overall picture. All in all, poor value for money. For the prices quoted there, one would have wished for a more well-maintained stay.

You don't get served, even though you draw attention to yourself in a friendly way with a hand gesture and later verbally...what can I say, that's really bad staff...So we left again after 15 minutes.

Next to the magnificent view on Wernigerode and, a bit further away, 'Brocken', this restaurant with its large sunny terrace offers a wide variety of quality food and drinks. Ranging from very tasteful apfelstrudel with ice, to Schnitzel Wiener Art. Service is friendly and thoughtful. A must see/must visit, easily combined with a visit of Wernigerode castle.

What can you say? Super great view, nice and fast staff and super delicious food.

Very friendly staff, beautifully prepared food and of course a very nice view of the city of Wernigerode. Conditions are quick and we didn't wait long for food.😊 nothing to complain about.

Arrived shortly before 7 p.m., wanted something to drink and was asked to leave immediately because it was closing. There were a number of people sitting on the terrace with drinks. There wasn't even a question about what we actually wanted.

My daughter didn't even like the ice cream. That's saying something... Prices are of course completely exaggerated, but unfortunately we expected that

Nice restaurant with a great outdoor area and a great view! Lunch was very good. The schnitzel with fries and salad were very tasty. I can also highly recommend herring with fried potatoes and salad. For dessert we had strawberry cheesecake cake and very, very good apple strudel. The service was friendly, courteous and quick. The price of the restaurant is a bit more expensive, but we had a nice time there, which is why I'm happy to give it 5 stars.

The ambience was very nice and the staff was also very friendly, which made the price/performance ratio even sadder. The food was miserable, unnecessarily expensive and the staff was completely uncritical and disinterested. The complaint was only listened to but no solution was sought or passed on at all. I'm extremely disappointed and should have gotten a Bocki from the gas station beforehand, but what can you say.

Beautiful location in a prime location, the view is of course fantastic. The taste of the food was very good, as was the service. The prices are of course very high depending on the location.

Even if it is relatively empty, the service takes a long time and sometimes overlooks waiting guests. Goulash tasted like it came from a can. Not recommendable.

It's unbelievable that we've been sitting in the restaurant for 15 minutes waiting for the menu. Waiters come by 3 times, nothing happens after that, a married couple and they are given cards... never more and unfriendly when we left

Very nice, the cake was a full meal. Here you get something for your money. The staff is very accommodating, has an ear for everything and always has a smile on their face and puts you in a good mood again even after the climb. Thank you for that.

Wir haben hier als Gruppe (6 Personen) eine Kleinigkeit gegessen und einige haben auch Kaffee und Kuchen genommen. Da das Wetter nicht sehr gut war, sind wir in den Wintergarten umgezogen ... auch unsere Hündin (Labrador) durfte mit, das war kein Problem. Die Kuchenauswahl war toll und die Stücke auch richtig groß. Die Suppen waren gut, die Erbsen hätten allerdings etwas weniger knackig sein dürfen. Das Tagesgericht war Preis-Leistungs-mäßig wirklich gut! Auch die Bedienung war nett und freundlich. Hier hätte ich eigentlich höhere Preise erwartet, aber die lagen absolut im Rahmen. Wir können absolut nichts negatives berichten und würden die Schlossterrassen jederzeit wieder besuchen.

On Sunday (May 12, 2024) we went to the castle terraces for brunch and sat at a long table in the winter garden. A great ambience and a beautiful view of Wernigerode. There was a large selection of cold and warm dishes, all of which were very tasty, and the drinks were well chilled and tasty. Our waitress was a real ray of sunshine, absolutely personable and friendly, always had a smile on her face and fulfilled our every extra wish! Thank you for the unforgettable hours!!!

Were here today and were quite satisfied. The cream puffs were okay, but nothing special. Unfortunately we had to wait 20 minutes for the cream puffs (technical problems) But the view of the Brocken makes up for it.

You would have to get the card yourself and no one came to order. After 30 minutes we moved on.

Appearance and service are great, the rest is a disaster. The prices are really steep. That's why I decided to order the cream puffs with cherries. What I got, however, was a disgrace. The cream puff was hard, crunchy and tasteless. The two cherries were cold. I was happy when I had the part behind me

Ich war am 21.4.24 im Restaurant Schlossterrassen. Ich war leider sehr enttäuscht. Ich wusste nicht das das aufgestellte Buffett nicht für den normalen Gast bestimmt war. Ich wurde auch nicht darauf aufmerksam gemacht. Erst als ich etwas auf dem Teller hatte wurde ich darauf sehr sehr unfreundlich darauf aufmerksam gemacht das ich mich daran nicht bedienen dürfe und letztendlich über 32 Euro bezahlen muss, denn schließlich hätte ich fragen müssen. Für 32 Euro hätte ich ganz anders essen können. Ich empfinde das als unverschämt und vorallem die Unfreundlichkeit hat mich sehr betroffen gemacht. Der betreffende Kellner hieß Mirko Vucinic. Ich werde diese Lokalität nie wieder besuchen. Frau Müller

I sometimes give bad assessments. At the beginning we served a nice girl, but the dishes brought us 2 people. We ordered two nuggets + fries and ketchup. They brought the dish only to my companion, and all the rest was brought to their compatriot (he ordered the same), gave him my kutchup and after I waited, these guys did not rush to serve me customer services. Plus this restaurant is in a bad location and the food wasn't very good but since we were slightly hungry after three stars it's fine

We enjoyed it, the vegetarian farmer's omelet was a dream 😌 The "meat eaters" also found the brawn with fried potatoes very tasty. The service was very nice and quick. The only point of criticism might be the cleanliness of the toilet, but the restaurant often can't help it🤷‍♀️

Café with a great view over the city of Wernigerode! You can visit it without having to visit the castle/castle museum. The waffles were delicious. One point deducted because it's not quite as comfortable and rather expensive

Considering that half of the food is missing, the prices are pretty outrageous. If you ask, the staff will lie to you. Pretty bad quality. At least the beer tastes good enough to bear the “service”.

Tasty food in a pleasant atmosphere. The guest has to make compromises when it comes to service. There are waitresses who confuse serving with first name or think that that would be appropriate. Too bad.

We went to the castle terraces for brunch on Easter Sunday. The cold and warm dishes were very tasty, fresh and perfectly prepared. The friendly service staff served very well - no wish remained unfulfilled. The service staff, of foreign origin, were also very careful, committed and helpful. The panoramic view of the city of Wernigerode and the beautiful Harz rounded off the day for us - we are already looking forward to the next visit.

Tragedy. The crazy waiters brought something we didn't order four times. After the meeting, they politely say that it's not ours and they still mutter something under their breath. And after eating only my stomach hurts. I don't recommend it

The view on the terrace is great. There was no service out there, which we didn't think was a bad thing at first. We ordered inside and received soft drinks in plastic cups, coffee in a paper cup and a cream puff on a paper plate. When I asked why disposable tableware was used, I was barked at quite stupidly and was told something about a lack of staff and that you can't give guests dishes because they throw them against the wall. No idea. They could have explained it to me in a friendly manner because I think my request is absolutely reasonable. Plastic cups are an absolute no go for me. Unfortunately, the prices are really steep and the quality is inferior. Cream puffs dry. I think the store thrives on the fact that new visitors keep coming, I can't imagine going there again. Another positive thing I would like to mention is that my daughter got a new juice after she poured out hers. That was very nice

We had a delicious meal there today. The staff super friendly. What isn't quite right is the ambience. The stairs (step carpets) look bad and the toilets look terrible too. Otherwise it was a great visit.

Price performance for food and drinks is reasonable. The waiter was super friendly and since we had just fed our offspring, not intrusive and gave us time so that we could eat in peace after feeding. Few parking spaces for strollers, changing table available but not 100% correct. O, toilets are getting old but OK.

Super Frühstück und toller Service

Wir waren mit allem zufrieden. Meine Frau hatte ein Schnitzel und ich einen Apfelstrudel. Das Essen kam schnell und es war lecker.

Ich genieße immer meine Besuche im Schloss Terase, sie haben ein nettes und freundliches Team, leckeres Essen und Kuchen. Wenn Sie ein Tourist sind, ist dies der beste Ort, um die schönste Aussicht auf die Stadt zu genießen. Ich kann es nur empfehlen!

Absolut sehr freundliches Personal und sehr aufmerksam. Eseen war sehr gut, geschmacklich lecker. Ich hatte Forelle mit Salst und Rösti. Leider waren es keine Rösti, sondern Reibekuchen. Meine Freundin hatte Schnitzel mit Blaubeer Schmand und Käse Überbacken. Schnitzel ein super aus der Pfanne rausgebratenes Pfannen Schnitzel. Portionen waren super und genügend. Um 5 Sterne zu vergeben fehlt es an, wie oben beschrieben Rösti sind Rösti und kein Reibekuchen. Blaubeer Schmand eventuell als Sosss oder Dipp nicht mit dem Käse <überbacken. Bier nicht regional, ihr habt Hasse Röder 200 Kilometer weiter Radelberger, Feldschlösschen. Muss keine bayrische Grossbrauerei sein. Des wegen wahrscheinlich auch der wie ich finde total überteuerte Bierpreis. Das bezahlt man nicht mal bei uns im Ballungsraum Stuttgart. In der City schon aber nicht in den ländlichen Städten. Hier solltet ihr was tun!!! Ansonsten war es echt Top, Lob an euer Service Team Absolut 5 Sterne. Wir waren a. 2.11.23 dort so gegen 13.30 Uhr. Damit Ihr das Personal auch wirklich loben könnt, der Herr und die Dame waren echt Spitze. Danke an euch beide!!! Bitte nehmt die konstruktive Kritik an und macht was draus. Danke LG Timo

Essen war entäuschend. Salat alt und braun 🤔. In der Altstandt Wernigerode finden sich bessere Lokalitäten, sogar zu besseren Preisen.

Leckeres Essen und guter Service. Schade nur, dass vegetarische Gerichte in der Speisekarte nicht gekennzeichnet sind

Wir haben dort Kaffee getrunken und leckeren Kuchen und Windbeutel gegessen. Das Restaurant hat eine sehr schöne Aussicht auf Wernigerode und wir wurden mit Kleinkind (15 Monate) dort sehr gut aufgenommen. Wir bekamen direkt einen Kinderstuhl und wurden sogar gefragt, ob ein Gläschen warm gemacht werden soll oder ob wir sonst noch etwas für unser Kind brauchen. Dafür nochmal vielen Dank!

Leckere Gulaschsuppe, richtig guter Kuchen und sehr guter Service. Freundliche Leute. Das Ambiente könnte vielleicht „schlosstypischer“ sein. Aber alles ist sauber und ordentlich. Daher von uns auf alle Fälle die absolute Empfehlung! Da kann ich einige Rezessionen hier nicht nachvollziehen.

Ein sehr schöner Ort zugänglich mit Familie und mit Hunden,einen aufmerksamen Service und ein gutes Essen.Wir waren jedoch zur Kaffezeit da,da es Mittags sehr voll war,deswegen ist eine Reservierung zu empfehlen.Dem Preis ist das Essen entsprechend.Parkplatzsituation ist etwas problematisch da es in dem Schloss Wernigerode aufzufinden ist.Daher einfach Beschilderung folgen.

Sehr nettes Lokal mit tollem Ambiente leckerem Essen und gutem Personal. Das einzige was ich bemängeln muss ist der Wickeltisch welcher leider schon auf "halb 8" hing und deshalb leider nicht nutzbar war.

Ich war kürzlich im Schloßterassen in Wernigerode zu Gast und war von dem Restaurant absolut begeistert. Das Personal war äußerst freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Meine Fragen wurden kompetent beantwortet und ich fühlte mich rundum gut betreut. Das Ambiente des Restaurants war sehr ansprechend. Die Einrichtung war stilvoll und gemütlich zugleich, was eine angenehme Atmosphäre schaffte Das Essen war einfach fantastisch. Die Speisen wurden frisch zubereitet und waren von höchster Qualität. Geschmacklich waren sie ein wahrer Genuss und auch die Präsentation auf dem Teller war sehr ansprechend. Alles in allem war mein Besuch im Schloßterassen in Wernigerode ein voller Erfolg. Das freundliche Personal, das geschmackvolle Ambiente und das hervorragende Essen haben mich restlos überzeugt. Ich kann das Restaurant jedem weiterempfehlen, der auf der Suche nach einem besonderen kulinarischen Erlebnis ist.

Nach einem tollen Familienausflug (mit 15 Pers.) fanden wir einen krönenden Abschluß auf den Schloßterrassen, mit leckerem Essen verwöhnt ,freundlicher Bedienung, einem schmackhaften Essen und einem traumhaften Ausblick. Wir kommen wieder !
