A wonderful experience at the Schiesshaus in Schwabach! The food was outstanding – fresh, flavorful, and prepared with love. I particularly liked how authentically Greek each dish tasted and was beautifully presented. The service was simply fantastic: warm, attentive, and very hospitable. You immediately notice that the well-being of the guests is their top priority. The cozy ambiance perfectly rounds off the visit. The price and quality are also absolutely perfect. A definite recommendation for me – I'll definitely be back soon!

The food tastes good and authentic, but is comparable to what you'd expect from other restaurants of this type. However, the value for money has definitely deteriorated here. The portions were surprisingly small compared to our last visit, especially considering the relatively high prices. I had the Cretan fish platter for a whopping €28.50 with a rather small bowl of tzatziki. Since I wanted a second helping, I asked if I could have another small portion. A slightly larger portion than the original arrived, but it was also charged a hefty €6.90. If you value fair prices and filling portions, you might want to look for alternatives. I also find the prices for drinks quite high: a small 0.2l Coke for €3.50, a large 0.33l Coke for €4.30, and a wheat beer for €6.90. The garden has a great ambience and is a nice place to sit.

Beautiful location! The food is also very good, although the baked gyro is very filling and not for everyone! However, the wait was quite long in our case.

Manageable portions at very ambitious prices. Why they charge €8.90 for a 0.2 l glass of Primitivo wine is beyond me. The positive thing about these prices: you can always find a seat.

After the "older" training, the core group of five to eight people goes to the shooting range, where we regularly share the pizza special. Even though there are sometimes only a few guests and we only make relatively little revenue, the service is excellent.

I ate there today with my girlfriend. We go to Greek restaurants regularly, so we can easily compare prices. The service was definitely 5/5. The outdoor ambiance was 5/5. The food was also very tasty. However, I didn't taste any difference to other Greek restaurants in the region. Therefore, I probably wouldn't go back, as you can get the same portions with the same taste for much less elsewhere. We paid €78.90 for two people (without alcohol). Thank you for the pleasant stay.

I've never experienced anything so antisocial in my life. A staff member called me pubic hair, then sent me letters and threatened me with dismissal. The first and last time.

We've been going to the Schießhaus for almost 30 years. We usually eat the warm appetizer platter followed by the gyros and calamari together. Recently, there hasn't been any welcome from the kitchen, the size of the appetizer has been reduced by a third, and the price has risen significantly. The same goes for the gyros and calamari. The development of the appetizer is unacceptable, however. The price-performance ratio has become disastrous. We are very disappointed and won't be coming back.

We had a communion celebration. The service was simply excellent; everyone helped each other; a truly great team. The food was delicious, although the noodle soup could have been improved, and the asparagus soup was excellent. The atmosphere was lovely. Great tables in the garden.

Great Greek restaurant – highly recommended! We had a great evening at this restaurant! The food was really tasty and authentic, you can taste the quality. Everything was fresh and prepared with a lot of love. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, including the boss. I would particularly like to highlight the restaurant manager – a super friendly and professional person! He welcomed us warmly, seated us well and took perfect care of us. An all-round successful evening – we will definitely be back!

Went there for dinner after visiting the thermal spa. Super friendly and courteous staff. Hardly any waiting times. The food was really very good. If we're ever in the area again, there's no way around it!

The food was perfect, the service was friendly and accommodating. Still, I think the prices are too high. It bothered me that I had to pay €4.50 to change the side dish from rice to fries, that's not fair.

Went to the restaurant for the first time on Sunday evening, very friendly service and good food but otherwise there was very little tzatziki €6.90 Gyros with calamari €18.90 were 4 calamari and 2 spoons of gyros I thought it was a children's portion then the drinks water 0 4l 3 .50€ beer and wheat 4.90€ usury. We actually wanted a plate for 2 people but at €54.50 - €66.50 we lost our appetite. It was the first and last time, sorry never again. At the end there was an ouzo for free but unfortunately the glass was only half full. Thank you.

They have the best food there. I've been eating there with my family for over 10 years and we love it. Staff very friendly, all wishes are taken into account. Atmosphere very very pleasant

Perfect restaurant visit. Drinks ordered - were at the table 1 minute later. Ordered food - after 1 minute a greeting came from the kitchen and after a very short time the food arrived. The note on the map that there could be longer waiting times made us smile slightly (i.e. completely unnecessary). The food was very tasty, the service was very attentive and friendly. We will definitely come back and can only recommend it!!!

Never been inside. The ambience outside is of course great! 🤩 But inside it's a bit too old-fashioned and dim for me. Dearest staff! A delight. Then the food: free starter!😍 The vegetable plate and the Tamaras cream were also very tasty. Main course: Greek salad (quite ok) and gyros. Small portion of meat and a tablespoon of rice, plus lots of delicious potato chips. Meat quality at kebab level. Small slices (I actually know large pieces here) and a little bit. But the innkeeper came and asked. I criticized the portion size and presto I had one twice as big (extra plate) from him at the table. Thank you very much! There was little tzatziki everywhere and not very creamy. As far as I remember, I had eaten better here in the beer garden.

If you want good food, this is the place for you. In addition to typical Greek dishes, there is also delicious pizza.

I had a meal there with friends and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Everything was freshly prepared, seasoned appropriately and beautifully presented. Although the outdoor area was busy on a summer evening, we got drinks and food quickly. The service was quick and friendly and regularly asked whether we were satisfied without being intrusive. The outdoor area is very attractively designed: instead of gravel in the beer garden, there is a terrace-like wooden floor and the floor lights and fairy lights make the atmosphere elegant and cozy. The old trees provide plenty of shade. There is a small children's playground a little away where the children can keep themselves busy and still have a good view of them. Very happy again!

We were last here many years ago and we are thrilled! The outdoor area has a great atmosphere, the service is very friendly and quick and my saddle of lamb fillet is second to none. We'll definitely be back soon!

A great recommendation until about 3 years ago. Prices rising is normal. But the large Spezi (0.33 bottle) for 4.80, and gyros for 17 euros is the predictable end of this place. Not enough if the quality hadn't dropped further. Grilled peppers, cold goat cheese ice cold 12 euros. The amount of gyros with bifteki easily fits into a pita bread. Unfortunately, the Bifteki was also raw inside. So goodbye shooting house

Restaurant with a great beer garden, very nice to sit in. Staff very friendly and quick. Food was also very good. The tomato rice was just a bit hard for us. Unfortunately, our favorite appetizer was missing from the menu: tarama cream. Definitely coming back to eat.

On average a few euros more expensive than the competition. Many beloved dishes are now too expensive, so I no longer order them and forego extras. I used to go there at least once every 3-4 weeks. Unfortunately, now only every few months after the price increase. Still super tasty. I'm looking forward to visiting again, although not as often. However, the taste is incomparable. I've never had a better Greek meal anywhere. I will therefore continue to be a loyal customer

Very nice Greek. Service absolutely top! Friendly, always smiling and quick. Particularly worthy of mention is the covered beer garden, simply brilliant! No sun, no rain and you're still outside. The prices are quite high, as is unfortunately the case with almost all Greeks.

You sit very comfortably and comfortably. The food is upscale, so the price/performance ratio is reasonable. What should be highlighted is the great service. The girls are on the ball and the boss is very nice when dealing with the guests and his employees. This is the only way to get good staff....highly recommended....

Weird mood at the moment, didn't feel well today as usual. Prices will be adjusted but the food will be reduced - Children's plate without salad in the future (when ordering also the wrong side dish) After I complained about this, it was changed and salad came too (if it says so on the internet when you pick it up, please don't take your frustration out on the customer) Yes, I know it's a hard time but everyone goes through it We have often been there or picked up food but after today I have to say NO THANKS

09.06 We had ordered a Crete plate for €28, a calamari plate with king prawns and a normal calamari plate. What came was 4 pieces of breaded calamari and 3 pieces of king prawns. We thought half the price was missing. Price-performance ratio unreasonable!!!!!

Removable Greek food It used to be excellent, but now the quality has deteriorated a bit. It's still worth a visit, but you shouldn't have too high expectations.

Very friendly, courteous service, the food was delicious and plentiful. What I think is a shame are the now much too high prices for drinks (beer €4.90) and many dishes. Unfortunately the price-performance ratio is no longer correct.

top friendly service staff, delicious food and quick cuisine :) Update February 9th, 2024: from 5 to 3*, the prices have now risen significantly and the dishes tend to have shrunk (assessment based on our own pictures). Unfortunately, we were a bit disappointed 😞 We also had the feeling that we were eating under time pressure, which on the one hand is good if the food comes quickly, but on the other hand it also put us as customers in a bit of trouble trying to finish it quickly.

Very tasty food and friendly service

In the summer of 2023 we ended up in Schwabach because we wanted to avoid a mega traffic jam on the highway. We passed the beer garden, became curious and stopped in. We were and still are thrilled: the food was impeccable, the service was extremely attentive and polite. Also applies to the restaurant now in winter. Since then we have always stopped here when we drive home on the A6.

Very tasty food. Price performance is definitely top here. Can be warmly recommended. The wait staff are super nice and up for a laugh. Keep it up.👍🏻

It has become a tradition for me to eat here once a year between Christmas and New Year's Eve. Every time it tastes very good, the staff is friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is very cozy and invites you to linger with a drink or two after your meal and just have a good chat in a cozy environment. What I noticed is that the prices are noticeably up. It doesn't bother me as much because for me it's a pleasure and the quality and service is worth the price per dish.

Im Vorgriff auf Erhöhung der Mwst ab Januar verschiedene Speisen um 2,00 € erhöht. Bisher vor allem mit der Qualität der Speisen zufrieden. Aber unbegründete Erhöhungen betrachten wir als unverschämt.

Wir kommen jedes Jahr um die Weihnachtszeit. Das Personal ist mehr als freundlich. Wir fühlen uns immer wohl und jeder Wunsch wird umgesetzt. ✨

Gutes Essen, guter Service zu noch vernünftigen Preisen.

War heute mittag da, obwohl es recht voll war, bekam ich einen einzelnen Platz an einem leeren Platz. Bedienung kam schnell und war sehr freundlich. Als nette Geste bekam ich also kostenlose Vorspeise 2 Kugeln angmachter Frischkäse? und es was Knobibrot dabei. Bestellt habe ich gegrillte Rinderleber. Wartezeit war kurz. Zum Abschluss gab es noch einen Ouzo auf Kosten des Hauses. Preise sind etwas gehoben, aber naja. Alles im Allem ein gutes Lokal, wo man gern wieder einkehren möchte. Danke

Leider haben unsere letzten 2 Besuche nicht überzeugt. Das Essen war sehr sehr gut gewürzt und die Portionen waren doch für die Preise überschaubar

Schöne Gaststätte, freundlicher Service, leckeres Essen, große Portionen.

Kenne den Koch schon länger und kann mit Begeisterung sagen das es zu 100% das beste griechische Essen ist was ich je gegessen habe. Und ich war bereits bei endlos vielen griechischen Restaurants. Aber hier bekommt man was für sein Geld, Preis-Leistung passt, Ambiente ist altmodisch aber auch sehr schön und gemütlich, alle Leute und Bedienungen sehr nett und freundlich. Aber das Wichtigste ist natürlich das Essen und da versteht jemand wirklich was von seinem Handwerk. Das Essen ist voller Geschmack und vor allem saftig, ein purer Genuss. Wenn man Gegrillte Platten mag und besonders gerne Suvlaki oder Gyros isst, dann bekommt man hier das beste was man sich vorstellen kann. Eine wahre Rarität.

Wir waren am Samstag Abend mit 4 Personen zum Essen im Schießhaus. Drei der vier bestellten Gerichte waren sehr gut. Leider konnte das Vierte Gericht, Bifteki Spezial, nicht überzeugen, völlig verbrannt und nur schwer zu genießen. Auf Nachfrage beim Kellner, wurde uns für dieses Bifteki, 50 Prozent Nachlass gewährt. Leider wurde es bei der späteren Rechnung nicht berücksichtigt. Erst als ich darauf aufmerksam gemacht habe, wurde der Nachlass abgezogen. Trotz vernünftigem Trinkgeld, wurden die versprochenen Schnäpse nicht serviert.

Etwas versteckt, von der Straße zu finden, wurden wir auf unserer Durchreise sehr angenehm überrascht. Ein urgemütlcher Biergarten "lud uns ein". Die Bedienungen waren alle sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Speisen und das Dessert: Großartig. Wir kehren wieder mal an.

Nudeln waren in Ordnung, aber die Portion war sehr klein. Für das Geld erwarte ich eigl. etwas was mich satt macht. Die anderen Gerichte waren größer. Ansonsten war es echt nett dort.

Ich muss mich den vielen Vorrednern leider anschließen. Das Bifteki Spezial war dermaßen versalzen, dass ich nach 3 Bissen aufgeben musste. Schade um das Geld...

Die Ambiente im Garten ist schon schön, aber leider stört der Verkehrslärm. Da essen war gut. Aber ich habe schon besser gegessen. Doch das ist jetzt mein persönlicher Geschmack!

Hat ein wenig nachgelassen, Qualität der Speisen, trotzdem sehr zufrieden, kommen schon seit Jahren dorthin weil man einfach schön draußen sitzen kann im Sommer und das Essen genießen kann. Service ist immer bemüht. Und sehr freundlich. Zaziki schmeckt immer mal anderst. Toller Chef.
