We ordered three onion roasts. All three pieces were really big, tender and simply delicious. Together with the great beer sauce and the beautifully fried fried potatoes including salad, we were completely thrilled. I haven't eaten something this delicious in a long time!

(UPDATE on the review IMPORTANT) Very nice owner who also takes time for a chat. The food is really tasty, both the local cuisine and the Thai and Nepalese cuisine are really tasty, the portion is generous and that's why the price is justified, so value for money is top. The ambience is calm and relaxed. He is the only one in Zabo who makes delicious cocktails that really taste good (a change from the Greeks, where the salad is not as fresh as his). So dear people, if you want to eat and drink delicious food and need a bit of variety, then I can only recommend the shop to you, trust me, you won't regret it. P.S. He also delivers 😁 Oh yes, we ordered 5 cocktails and two main courses with salad, the dessert is great, everything is fresh and no frozen food. UPDATE!!!! Unfortunately I didn't take any photos!!!! Today I was served the roast pork from the day before, like dumplings!!! My wife's schnitzel was good on one side and mushy on the back, soggy and the meat had a strange color!!! Luckily, the children's food was okay except for the mayonnaise, which had a slight sting. There were carrots in the salad, they were DEAD, the cucumbers were half DEAD and the salad had brown DEAD tips!!!! Not all dishes are available anymore, even though they are on the menu. The quality that used to be is no longer, especially for a mere €86😡😡😡😡 for food from YESTERDAY!!!! THAT WAS OUR LAST VISIT TO THIS LOCKAL!!!!!!!

My family and I have been there to eat several times and it has always been good until today. The food today was a huge disappointment!!!! The roast from the day before, with a noticeable hint of acidity/schnitzel black and greasy and wobbly/moist. The lettuce brown and dried out!!! And the french fries were extremely soft in the middle and burnt at the ends/the mayonnaise was bad and rancid, didn't even stick to the fries, we won't go there again......

Very tasty food and always friendly service. Today I ate the “Golden Plate” with meat and then ended the summer evening with cocktails & Co. with dear friends. Always my pleasure!

Interesting dishes, large portions, unfortunately, as with many other restaurants, there is clearly a problem in the service. I'm not an impatient person, but sitting in front of the empty glass for 30 minutes and then looking for employees in the dining room was unfortunately ideal. We will definitely try it again.

The Singerlust restaurant is located near the Tiergarten, there are no direct parking spaces, but you can park easily in the area. There is typical Bavarian food but also traditional Nepalese cuisine. And both styles are super tasty and reasonably priced. In the courtyard there is a small, cozy beer garden, very nicely decorated. The landlord is super friendly and loves children. Our boys received chalk and balls straight away. The ideal end to a visit to the zoo.

The golden plate was a complete disappointment, both in terms of quantity and quality. The innkeeper reacts to a polite comment with indifference. Especially if you actually want to show what you can possibly do... The landlord tries to combine kitchen and service on his own. This only works to a limited extent. This devalues ​​the quality of the beautiful beer garden in Zabo. Not a recommendation, especially not with several people.

This is not a fake review. Contrary to the previously expressed opinions. They unmask with the exaggerated choice of words like “I have never eaten such a good Schäuferle”. Has he ever eaten one before?! To the point: Order boiled beef with potatoes and cucumber salad. Tafelspitz meat cooked in just water and decorated with a few horseradish shavings. When asked where the horseradish sauce was, gravy was served. Instead of the potatoes, two dumplings were requested, but dumplings were served. Every trace of the cucumber salad falls. The Schäufele was served warmed up three times, instead of dumplings again two dumplings without Bröggeli. Instead of the coleslaw, a mixed salad was only offered upon request because the coleslaw wasn't there. Even the amateur waiter in a Hawaiian outfit had no explanation. The cook tried to explain what horseradish sauce was. Unfortunately, the Vietnamese didn't understand any of this. Result: We got Bratenso? Never again and not at all recommended.

Best food in Zabo. The red Curry is amazing and so are the rest of the dishes.

The Cordon Bleu, the Schäufele and the Nepalese Dumblings (Mo-Mo?) were delicious. Instead of the fries I ordered, I received potato salad as a side dish. Even though I don't really like potato salad, this was really good and I didn't regret the little "mistake". The Schäufele sauce is very dark and has a slightly sour note. Interesting and tasty. The meat was buttery tender. The friendly and personable landlord provides good service. There are other Nepalese dishes that are said to be excellent. I will definitely come again.

After visiting the zoo, we just wanted to eat something quick because the restaurants in the zoo were too full for us at dinner time. Food was good, unfortunately we had to wait a long time because it felt like the delivery service was given priority, or there weren't enough staff on duty?, I have no idea. Other guests had already canceled their food at the table and left. Not recommended if you just want to quickly feed 2 tired children. However, this was half a year ago, so maybe it has changed again.

Quaint restaurant, friendly staff and the food is delicious

We ordered the food, Schäuferle and a Cordon Bleu via a delivery service... Awesome! The Schäuferle was so tender it fell off the bone, and the Cordon Bleu was also tender and delicious 😋

At first I was a bit irritated by the interior design. Apparently the restaurant is under Thai management and is decorated accordingly. Half Franconian, half Thai 😁 I thought, "Well, let's try it," and ordered an XL Wiener-style schnitzel with fries and a side salad. The price is great and the taste is amazing 😲🤤 Actually one of the best schnitzels I've eaten in a long time. Absolutely recommended!! If I ever visit the Nuremberg Zoo again, I'll definitely go back here afterwards 👍🏼👍🏼

Simple, bright and clean restaurant. Visited for the first time. The waitress, probably the owner, is very service-oriented and talented in the kitchen. Good home-style cooking, visually well prepared and taste-wise without any complaints. In my opinion, the international influence of Nepali cuisine is neglected, so there could be more on the menu🤓. Unfortunately it's too inconspicuous from the outside, so the design (color, menu display, etc.) should be more attractive at the start. I am, among other things, a connoisseur of very high-quality restaurants and was pleasantly surprised that there was still a real one Price-performance ratio with good quality in this middle-class segment. We went there after a rainy day at the zoo. The food was the perfect fit for that kinda weather. The service was friendly and quick, only the dessert took a little bit too long but we got it for take away so it was okay for us. But all together we had a nice relaxing dinner.

Eine ganz tolle Gaststätte mit super nettem Besitzer plus Team! Selten sowas herzliches, freundliches und zuvorkommendes erlebt.. von Anfang wurden Fragen und Anregungen mit absoluter "Kritkifähigkeit" angenommen (das Schäufele wurde regelrecht in Kümmel gewälzt-geht gar nicht!), der Kontakt war immer nett und auch recht lustig. Extrawünsche einwandfrei umgesetzt und auch mitgedacht. Wartezeit aufs Essen im normalen Bereich. Hatten Vor-, Haupt- und Nachspeise, sowie ein Schnitzel to go und waren knapp 2std vor Ort. Alles war extremst lecker, egal, ob Suppe, Salatdressing oder Pommes (schmeckten daheim immer noch top!). In der Karte wurde angegeben, dass das Schnitzel aus der Lende ist-glaube ich zwar nicht, wirkte wie Schweinelachs, aber ist mir eh lieber. Muss dann aber auch geändert werden; werde nächstes Mal nachhaken^^ Trotz des Kümmel-Gate war das Schäufele sehr lecker.. ich hoffe, die Kümmelmenge wird deutlich reduziert. Der Kaiserschmarrn war der beste seit langem. Alles wurde karamellisiert-ist mir zwar zu süß und brauche das nicht, aber geschmeckt hats mir trotzdem. Die dadurch gebrannten Mandeln finden sicher ihre Liebhaber😅 Aber auch hier ist die Küche offen für Änderungen.. wirklich spitzenmäßig! Im Nachhinein fanden wir die Deko optisch als den Brüller des Abends: die Glitzerfontäne sah mit der Orange aus wie ein Pömpel😂aber sie war extrem geschmackvoll und süß😂 Ein paar Dinge könnten in der Gaststube geändert werden, aber im Großen und ganzen ist es recht gemütlich. Liegt direkt an der straße, Parkplätze dementsprechend auch, aber es kann schonmal sein, dass man etwas laufen muss. Toiletten sind klein und eng. Update August 2023: Waren inzwischen schon mehrmals dort-sehr netter Service, weiterhin sehr zuvorkommend. Das Fleisch vom Zwiebelrostbraten war letztes Mal nicht so toll (Recht flachsig), aber nach einer kurzen Rückmeldung diesbezüglich kam prompt ein Entschuldigungsdessert.. Hatten wir so nicht erwartet, aber gefreut hat es uns dennoch..

Wir waren in einer Gruppe hier, und haben sozusagen die Speisekarte wild durcheinander bestellt... Unser nächstes Treffen wird auf einigen Wunsch wieder hier sein... Am Abend wurde es kühl und sogleich durften wir, besonders die Damen eine Decke in Empfang nehmen Wohligen Speis, Trank ... uuund was Ihr Euch wünscht

Das Lokal war sehr einfach gehalten. Das Essen war eigentlich ganz gut außer die Bratwürste die waren nur ganz ok aber jetzt auch nicht so schlecht

Super leckeres Essen und sehr freundlicher Kellner. Ob er der Wirt ist, weiß ich leider nicht. Wir werden wieder kommen, auf jeden Fall 🥰 Update vom 11.6.23: Wir waren heute im netten Biergarten und haben festgestellt, dass der neue Inhaber ein sehr freundlicher Nepalese ist. Auf der Speisekarte haben wir nepalesische Dumblings (Teigtaschen mit Hackfleischfüllung und in einem separaten Schüsselchen leicht scharfe Soße) entdeckt und gleich probiert. Richtig lecker, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Wir waren nach dem Besuch im Tiergarten spontan dort essen. Super leckeres Essen, super Service. Das Schäufele war ausgezeichnet. Bei unserem nächsten Besuch im Tiergarten kommen wir auf jeden Fall wieder! 🙂

Gutes Essen Fränkische wie auch Curry. Aus der dunklen alten Sängerlust wurde ein helles und trozallem gemütliches Lokal. Wir hatten diesesmal Cordon Bleu und Käsespätzle. Zum Nachtisch Kaiserschmarrn. Alles war frisch und handwerklich hergestellt. Top Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Eine sehr positive Überraschung nach mehreren Pächterwechseln. Nun Fränkisch und International. Die Speisen waren qualitativ gut und schmackhaft. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut. Die angebotene Suppe hervorragend. (Von der Tageskarte!) Sehr freundlicher Service und aufmerksam. Die Einrichtung zweckmäßig. Weitere Besuche sind vorgesehen. Bei erneuten Besuch wiederum sehr gut gegessen! (Tageskarte) Schönen Abend verbracht.

Google nervt, um jemanden was liebes zu schreiben muss man sich drei mal hintereinaner anmelden.... Das Lokal Sängerlust ist so schön, gemütlich dann noch das tollen Essen!!!! Die Sängerlust hat eine wechselhafte kulinarische Geschichte hinter sich. Je nach dem gerade aktuellen Pächter war das Essen ausgezeichnet, dann wieder nahezu ungenießbar. Momentan versucht sich der aktuelle Wirt an "gutbürgerlicher" Kost wie Schnitzel, Braten, Kässpätzle usw., die er in recht guter Qualität auf den Tisch bringt. Daneben will er mit Spezialitäten aus seiner Heimat Nepal experimentieren. Bei unserem Besuch gab es z. B. eine Art Linsensuppe mir Zitronengras und Koriander, welche ganz vorzüglich schmeckte. Hoffentlich baut der übrigens sehr freundliche Wirt diese Schiene weiter aus, das wäre eine echte Bereicherung für Zabo. Auch am Ambiente müsste noch etwas gearbeitet werden, besonders gemütlich ist das Lokal nicht so sehr. Aber der Wirt scheint auf einem guten Weg zu sein, ihm sei hiermit dauerhafter Erfolg gewünscht. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Sehr sympathische Gaststätte. Die Qualität des Essens war einwandfrei. Am Service hakt es noch ein wenig, aber nachdem das Lokal erst kürzlich eröffnet wurde, ist das voll ok. 🤗

Preis/Leistungs Verhältnis ist okay.

Wir hatten ein Familienfest mit 22 Personen. Essen war lecker, und auch wenn der Service kaum hinterher kam, hat alles ganz gut geklappt.

We booked a party for over 20 people here. The food and atmosphere of the place is exactly what you should expect from the fränkisch restaurant. The service was very friendly and attentive. I had a chance to try various dishes and they all were great. All in all we had really good time.👍
