Gaststätte Rohne in Bad Salzdetfurth

What a pub is in Ireland is a village pub in Lower Saxony. Unfortunately, there are very few authentic establishments of this kind left here. This one, however, is one of the few, and that fact alone deserves a 6th star! Authentic cuisine, a down-to-earth atmosphere, and friendly hosts—what more could you want!

Who would have thought it? I've driven past this restaurant for years and only stopped for the first time today. The service was excellent and everyone was super friendly. The pierogi and Metaxa pan were absolutely delicious. This definitely won't be our last visit.

A very nice restaurant with very friendly service. There's a salad bar where you can help yourself to a bowl of salad with your meal at any time. Ouzo is also served on the house. The food is delicious, at least the pork, beef, and chicken medallions, the gyros, and the garlic bread. We didn't get to try anything else on our first visit, but we'll definitely be back! The portions are more than generous, and for a change, instead of classic fries, they serve air-fried potato slices. Definitely worth a visit.
