What a pub is in Ireland is a village pub in Lower Saxony. Unfortunately, there are very few authentic establishments of this kind left here. This one, however, is one of the few, and that fact alone deserves a 6th star! Authentic cuisine, a down-to-earth atmosphere, and friendly hosts—what more could you want!

It's still worth eating here. Delicious food at a reasonable price. Unfortunately, as is so often the case these days, good, home-style cooking is rarely supported... It's a real shame for this lovely, long-standing place. Food, drinks, a bowling alley, a large space for events, and a beer garden—everything's here.

Everything was perfect for the Maypole raising. Delicious food from the grill and fresh, warm drinks from the bar.
