Gaststätte Pizzeria la Taverna in Lahnstein

We stopped here during a bike ride. The view from the terrace is truly beautiful. The service seemed strained. After having had fantastic antipasti at another restaurant, we ordered this one as a snack. To put it briefly – the antipasti are not recommended; everything tasted like poorly prepared food. Very disappointing. The pizzas on the neighboring tables, however, looked good.

Great restaurant in the Lahn Valley. Excellent service. Food is reasonably priced.

Unfortunately, we didn't make it to the dinner, except for the bruschetta, which tasted like nothing. The condition was a disaster, way too slow.

We stopped by for a bite to eat. My wife's pizza 🍕 was outstanding, and my cordon bleu was also fantastically light. We'd love to go back.

We were there for dinner on Thursday. It was absolutely delicious; I've never eaten such a fluffy, light pizza. Thank you so much

We were guests there on October 2nd, 2023 and October 4th, 2023 at around 5:00 p.m. Both times we were warmly welcomed and quickly found a seat. The location directly at a lock on the Lahn is very good and, despite the construction site on the B260, easy to reach, of course mainly by cyclists and hikers. The menu is small enough to be sufficient and everyone should be able to navigate it easily. The main direction is Italian cuisine but there is also schnitzel. The waitress came to our table quickly and our requests were quickly taken into account and implemented. The whole service is quick, attentive and not intrusive. The food came after a reasonable wait and was fresh and very tasty. The pizza had a super fresh, airy base and sufficient toppings. The Jägerschnitzel was a large, pounded and nicely breaded piece of meat, which was baked in a pan with enough fat. The hunter sauce consisted of fresh mushrooms and other fresh ingredients. The side salad was also fresh and crunchy. The dishes of other guests we spoke to were also prepared accordingly. Unfortunately, the Jägerschnitzel is a very large portion that I couldn't finish completely. But the service provided was excellent for the price and very tasty.. Conclusion: Highly recommended restaurant in a beautiful location with good service, a very good price-performance ratio and delicious food. TOP

Wir hatten Pizza, Jägerschnitzel, Bruschetta und Pizzabrot mit Olivenöl, alles war richtig lecker und frisch zubereitet. Die Bedienung war auch sehr freundlich. Auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung.

Wir haben super toll gegessen. Die Garnelen waren super top ! Schnitzel auch sehr gut. Wir hsben draußen gesessen und die Natur genossen. Waren auch schon bei schlechtem Wetter da und haben es drinnen als sehr gemütlich empfunden. Super Preis/ Leistungsverhältnis. Man kann es nur empfehlen und wir kommen wieder

Ich hatte ein riesengroßes Schnitzel mit Beilagen, und einen großen leckeren Salat, dazu frisches Königsbacher Pils vom Fass. ... von mir volle Punktzahl !!!

Wir hatten zwar nur was getrunken, aber das essen sah so gut aus beim nächsten Mal werden wir auch was essen 😉

Top laden, das Jägerschnitzel ist aufjedenfall weiter zu empfehlen! Sehr nette Bedienung und tolle Ambiente. Perfekt für eine Pause von der Kanufahrt !

Sehr gutes Lokal, nette Bedienungen, frische Speisen und Getränke zu moderaten Preisen. Idyllische Lage direkt an der Lahn. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Hier sitzt man toll an der Lahn. Leider haben wir nichts gegessen, aber alles sah super aus was wir gesehen haben. Das Haus eigene Bier ist sehr lecker. Wir kommen wieder und essen dann auch was.

We had a lovely lunch here, such a beautiful spot perfectly situated on the Lahn. No one seemed to mind we were in our canoeing gear. Service friendly and they cooked something plain for my fussy eater too. Salad schmecht sehr gut!!

Nettes Lokal mit Sicht auf die Lahn. Sehr aufmerksame Bedienung. Waren letztes Jahr schon einmal da und haben den Ort sehr genossen. Leider sind die Getränkepreise sehr nach oben geschraubt worden (Weizen 6,20 €)...für die Region meiner Einschätzung nach aktuell auf Rekordhoch!

Das Essen war sehr gut. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Wir waren mit 6 Personen dort und haben auch alle gleichzeitig unsere unterschiedlichen Gerichte erhalten. Die Bedienung war freundlich, aufmerksam und auf zack. Kommen wieder!

Sehr ordentliche Pizza, riesiger Salat, toller Wein und alles nicht teuer. Super!
