Expectations are already high for this hotel; an overnight stay in such a historic hotel seems promising. Unfortunately, the overall package is disappointing. In my opinion, this is due to the fact that it is run by a hotel chain. This loses the charm and love it would have if it were owner-managed, for example. Then there wouldn't be advertising for the hotel chain everywhere. The hotel reception is a counter built next to the bar, which is also located in the middle of the breakfast buffet. The price seemed fair for a single room, but it really wasn't big. The cleaning was okay, but not perfect (hair on the tiles and a dusty table). It also takes some skill to set the shower to a temperature where the water temperature didn't fluctuate. The internet (both the internet and Wi-Fi were too slow) and the TV were far too small, completely out of date. Unfortunately, the breakfast didn't quite turn things around. There was little choice, and the selection wasn't replenished (and that was at 8 a.m.), the scrambled eggs were completely cold, and the cocoa from the fully automatic machine consisted only of water and powdered milk. All in all, despite the chic setting, I wouldn't go back.

Food at the roadside. For 3 orders, one side dish (fried potatoes instead of fries, etc.) is wrong.

We ate schnitzel with asparagus there, it was plentiful and tasted very good.

It was very pleasant for our group.
