Too long waiting time for orders and payment. Some of the waitresses are very unfriendly. Pizza is also small and strange curd dip with it! Unfortunately nothing has been renovated in the children's area, which is a shame. Toilet area very dirty/unhygienic conditions! Ugh, Deife! It used to be better here, food etc... and clean too!

Food at fair prices, friendly staff, great program with a wide variety of performers, always worth a visit!

We had to hunt for the lasagna on a plate for €11.90. When we asked the staff, they simply said that it was pre-made and there was nothing they could do about it. Poor service. Update Dear Restaurant Manager, Thank you for your reply. We weren't offered a coffee, nor did we leave the money on the table; we paid with a card at the counter. The employee (short blonde hair) wasn't interested in a solution. We would have responded positively to compensation and not written a review. Best regards, Chrisy Hilgers

Great restaurant, friendly service, and good food. I've experienced being seated at many good restaurants, so it doesn't bother me if you have to wait a bit. I would recommend making a reservation (or calling ahead), as the Burgschänke is often booked as a wedding venue (for good reason), and otherwise you might end up with a private party. All in all, highly recommended!

Both waitresses were absolutely unfriendly and incompetent. One wore black glasses and a younger one with a ponytail. We waited 30 minutes before anyone even came – and were repeatedly told "no time." The meal then took a whopping 1.5 hours. The worst of it: In the end, we even had to clean up after our daughter had dropped something – and it really wasn't much. I worked in the restaurant industry for 5 years myself, but no one could be that incompetent. My daughter would have served me better. We will definitely never eat here again. A total disaster! Before hiring such staff, they should close the restaurant down.
