Nice place to eat and drink, quite expensive

Local located in the center, easily reachable on foot or by car, in old style. Menu suitable for all types of palates. Kind and helpful staff.

We've been there four times so far and ordered a different meal each time. No matter what, it was always delicious. The three servers are very friendly and accommodating.

Snack bar. Nothing more. Tomato soup looked like canned soup. Zero taste.

We had a tarte flambée and the butcher's platter. Both are highly recommended! The tarte flambée was incredibly delicious, something we've never tasted before (really good bacon), as was the meat on the platter. Incredibly tender, and you can taste the freshness. The staff were extremely friendly! We'll be back.

The food was not ok and not what we asked for, it was on the table after 5 minutes and the service was not friendly.

The food was very tasty and the service was great too. Very nicely located on the Moselle, there are a few tables to sit outside and the restaurant is very nicely decorated inside. Regardless of whether it was the main course or the dessert, we enjoyed everything very much.

Food inedible. Full of flavor enhancers and additives. Less than 5 minutes and the food for 4 people was served unfriendly. Service is catastrophic and does not meet any requirements. The men's toilet was completely dirty and hadn't been for a day. Absolutely not recommended!

Unfortunately the food was inedible and the service was really unfriendly. I ordered a burger with fries. The fries were cold, hard and unsalted.

The food at this restaurant is absolutely wonderful! It's real, hearty German cooking. The aspic just melted in my mouth. The goulash soup was bursting with flavor. And the semolina dumpling soup brought back sweet memories of my grandmother's kitchen!

We were here for a late lunch. Service was ok, table was not cleaned up properly, but we got the food super quickly: less than 15 min, even though the place was full. We got Schnitzel with fries. The schnitzel was sadly hard, it was super hard to cut it. The place seems super touristy, so try to avoid it for authentic food/lunch. Coffee and deserts are alright, the terrace is nice :)

Het eten was prima maar de bediening wilde vroeg maar huis. Restaurant zou tot half 10 open zijn. Om kwart over 8 werd er al gevraagd of we nog toetje wilde want de keuken ging dicht. Alles werd al opgeruimd dus we zaten niet echt gezellig meer. Jammer want het eten was prima maar we voelden ons echt weggekeken. Klandizie was er genoeg, nieuwe groep kwam nog binnen maar die werden niet meer toegelaten om half 9.

The service was very friendly and we felt comfortable! The location right on the Cochem bridge is super central and the food is also good. Especially compared to the other restaurants in town!

The food itself was delicious, but the restaurant apparently closed at 8 p.m. (it was not stated in advance, we were there just after 6:45 p.m.) The soup wasn't even finished yet and then the main course arrived, which is a bit of a shame, hence the 3 stars

The Noss restaurant was recommended to us, so my wife 🚺 and I went there. The restaurant was very busy and the friendly service managed to organize two seats for us. We ordered brawn with fried potatoes and were completely satisfied. The portions were good and it was also very tasty 😋. .

On était avec des enfants et avec des amis. On a bien mangé. L'accueil était très gentil avec des dessins pour les enfants et une belle table avec vue sur la Moselle à l'étage.

Food was tasteful, and really German with large amounts. I asked the waitress whether I could get the chicken salad in a smaller plate. That was no problem. The waitress clearly informed us in a friendly manner that the restaurant would close early due to Christmas holidays. Which also meant that not all menu dishes were available anymore. No problem for us. The atmosphere was ok. Kind of canteen alike. We can recommend the hirsch goulash and the fish plates.

The food was very good, including a 360g gypsy schnitzel and a normal Jägeschnitzel.

We have been here this year and last year. And remains the best place in the area for German food. With specially made ingredients from the region. The staff is super friendly and they take your questions or changes to the food into account very well. Super nice cozy place and good surroundings. Definitely eat here more often if the opportunity allows.

Wir sind Samstags Abends ohne Reservierung im Restaurant aufgeschlagen und obwohl es sehr voll war, wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen und man bemühte sich, uns noch zwei Plätze zu organisieren. Überhaupt war der Service gut drauf, zuvorkommend und lustig. Vom Essen waren wir eher enttäuscht. Omelette mit Bratkartoffeln und Schinken für fast 16€! Der Putenburger für 17€ mit leider sehr durchgeweichten Brötchen, irgendeiner süss-(sehr-) sauren Sauce. Fazit: Essen eher Durchschnitt aber das haben wir in Cochem schon öfters gehabt. Alles auf Touristen ausgelegt, teuer aber qualitativ eher na ja. Trotzdem ein Lob an den lieben und aufmerksamen Service!

Everything was top. Staff attentive and very friendly. Points deducted because there was puree out of the bag. But for me it wasn't that bad.

German food is not my thing. To me, it lacks a lot of flavor. This place blew my expectations out of the water. It was SO good. We had the mushroom snitzel. It was seasoned to perfection and had just the right texture. We also had the apple cake dessert which was heavenly. I love how it wasn’t overly sweet. Although there was a language barrier, service was great and super attentive. The atmosphere was super cute with all the little decorations. Would definitely come back again.

Despite the location on the promenade, very good value for money. The in-house butcher's shop is clearly noticeable in terms of quality. Can't even begin to understand the 1-star reviews. Anyone who complains about “watery mashed potatoes” at the Schlachtplatte and doesn’t seem to notice that it’s the sauerkraut stock should leave it alone. We ate really well and the service was also very friendly.

If you like meat, you'll get your money's worth here 😉. My girlfriend had the schnitzel with fried potatoes and I had the pork knuckle. Both are perfectly prepared and extremely tasty. The service was a bit more rustic, but friendly and humorous - exactly my taste. Reservations on the weekend are worth it.

Staff was friendly and everything went quickly. Price-performance is okay. The prices are not overpriced. Tarte flambée €13, burger €17, rump steak €27. The burger was tasty, the vegetarian tarte flambée is spicy but otherwise good. The rump steak at the next table looked medium rare. However, there is no spring guide. The restaurant door stays open at all times. So there can be a drag in the front interior.

Finally we found a restaurant with good food, pleasant and quick service and a nice atmosphere. We had the burger with brie and cranberries and the pork knuckle (Eisbein). Both dishes tasty. Also sufficient vegetarian options available.

Beer for over 6 euros and the Jägerschnitzel (without salad) with a few fries for almost 20 euros are prices that you actually only pay if the quality is reasonably good. But that also left a lot to be desired. The waiter was very courteous and professional. Cochem is generally a rip-off place. Wonder why?

Very central location in Cochem on the Moselle. We were lucky that we got a table. The service was very nice and the food was delicious. Highly recommended is the omelette with fried potatoes, as well as pike-perch, the schnitzel with fries and the knuckle of pork. Although there was a misunderstanding in communication regarding the side salad, this issue was resolved very quickly. We'd love to come back!

We wanted to go out for a hearty regional meal on the last day of our vacation and were unfortunately disappointed. The friendly service couldn't hide the carelessly dished out food. Schnitzel tough, breading sticky and fries not seasoned. The slaughter platter was okay except for the unseasoned and too watery mashed potatoes. The best thing was the black pudding (if you like that kind of thing).

Excellent schnitzel (everything else too), super attentive service staff. But: food selection limited, wine selection too. Prices comparatively still. And; no card payment!
